We were told by friends to give this place a try, so we did. 02/02/2022 Called in for my birthday breakfast 😊 The place was busy, we found a table by the window, parked our butt's took a look at the menu's. Only too find out that we needed to have booked a table 🙃 Fortunately for us they could accommodate us for an hour, enough time for us to sample their delicious food. Could not fault anything, service was excellent, food was delicious and filling cooked to perfection. We now understand why booking is needed at the weekend 🤗 Will definitely be visiting again. Thank you for a perfect start to our day and for being so accommodating.

On a cold wet windy day I would rather be at LOTTIE'S and today is no exception. A full tummy warmed by mugs of steaming tea watching the rain and sleet through the window. Perfect!

Excellent in every way. Beautiful decor, lovely food, attentive friendly service, great views, plenty of parking what's not to like? There's even a little farm shop selling local produce ie. Meat, cheese, chutney etc. Just called again for breakfast and I can't fault it, I've never had vegetarian black pudding before, but it was very tasty. The poached eggs were perfect, hard white and soft yellow just how I asked, thanks 😊

We Had Breakfast Twice at Lotties, Absolutely lovely Place, Very, very, Clean, Very Spacious, Comfortable seating, Prompt Service... Great Choice of Breakfast options available, Hot Drinks... it is Very Popular, so I would Recommend Booking a Table.. as we were there for it to Open ( Opening hours are 9am -4 pm ) we were if we'd Booked, we hadn't, had a Lovely Table by the Window, with a view out towards the Moors... I can Highly recommend the Full Breakfast, or the Breakfast Wrap...both are Delicious 😋, A range of Homemade Cakes, is also Available.... Enjoy 😉 Russ..

Lovely warm welcome, great design of interior/exterior and spotless. Cooked English breakfast was excellent with a good menu. Very nice coffee. Would recommend and will return.

Only had a flat white on the way back from a tough tough bike ride up Rivington Pike but it was pretty good. The place was buzzing. Pretty full and the staff were very nice. Have to say looks like a nice place so will need to go back for food

Lovely cafe, popular with everybody, walkers, cyclists, families, great food and lovely looking cakes too. Had a burger because we were a bit too late for breakfast, it was really good though, had a beer too! Breakfast next time!

Great place. Went for lunch on a Saturday having booked online. Sat inside but the outside area would be nice on a clear day due to the scenic views. Friendly staff. Good portion sizes. Enjoyed the meal.

Really enjoyed the breakfast at lotties they accommodated me even though I didn't book a table. I wasn't aware that you have to book a table , I was told from the Black Dog pub near by that they have stopped doing breakfast for residents who stay... so go to lotties up the road ( which I did). Lovely place/ staff.

We were staying at the nearby Black Dog which does not do breakfast, which turned out to be a bonus. Lottie's breakfasts are perfect and we had three days of them. Staff are friendly and attentive (in a good way) and the views are stunning. Thanks for everything!

Appreciate the cafe reminds customers for 2 minutes silence on the Remembrance Day. Staff are polite. The food is good. But, only the ham with the Eggs Benedict is a bit salty.

We have visited Lottie's a few times and have never been disappointed. Lovely staff, great service and the most beautiful cakes and scones. We'll definitely be back 😊

1st visit 5 stars. 2nd visit lost a star because of the tiny portion of scrambled egg (1 tablespoon at best and had to ask for more but was then charged), and 1 sausage (the thin one) on each breakfast was well over-cooked. The chunkier sausage was cooked ok. Would return and hope we got a normal size portion of scrambled egg and not over-cooked sausage.

Had lunch with friends today. Food lovely and service great. However..... have knocked stars off because of the noise. Struggled to hear each other even tho right next to each other. Do Lottie's actually take any notice of customer feedback? Have read several reviews saying the same inc one from a couple of years ago. Clearly nothing been done. Lottie's you really do need to do something about the noise, soft furnishings or something else to absorb the noise. Probably won't return for this reason. Shame! Or do think you don't need to do anything because of your prime location or the on the whole good views?

Reasonable food, most staff seem fine, however the middle aged waitress was incredibly rude and arrogant to both myself and my wife. Poor level of customer service. The place seems very clicky and the level of service depends on how much your face fits. Will not be returning.

Such a fantastic place! I've got to be honest and say I've found my perfect sandwich here. Chicken, bacon, lettuce, tomato and avocado, it's truly outstanding. The family love it too, and they've all had different meals. Their afternoon tea looks amazing and I really need to book it one day.

Location trumps the food but it was enjoyable. The veggie and vegan options need work and and don't justify the price tag. I also felt that I was received a little frostily by a member of staff which dampened our spirits a little but the others were great.

Met a friend for Brunch today. We both ordered a small breakfast. The whole experience was excellent. The service, the food the ambience. We stayed on and had cakes spectacular. Fully recommended

A lovely establishment, faultless coffee, the best carrot cake ever and staff that are friendly and professional. They share a car park with the restaurant next door, if you are not the best on your feet, park on the top car park as the ramp and steps are a little steep. Looking forward to calling in again soon.

Went for my husband's birthday breakfast. I had already said when booking I would have our baby with us and the highchair was ready in the corner so he could look out and view the whole restaurant 😊 they also catered for him and said they could make whatever we want for him. The views are amazing, the staff are wonderful and the food is lovely. I especially recommend the blueberry pancakes.

Excellent venue with very pleasant and helpful staff. Good value and great food. Well recommend a visit, suggest you book as it gets quite busy.
