A lovely course unequalled locally. The greens are very fast which is a good sign . You need a certain level of fitness as the terrain is very up and down. A bit long for a hacker like me but for a decent golfer there's nothing to dislike.

Great course and scenery. Very steep on back nine. No wonder they call 14 or 15 heartbreaker. Do NOT come with a pull or push trolley. You will regret it. Greens in super condition. Especially with recent weather. Nice balcony to sit outside when finished. Beers expensive for non members. 8 pounds for 2 San Miguel.

Really enjoyed this golf course. Course in good order, spectacular scenery and club staff very friendly. Weather was glorious too, which helps a lot when playing on top of the fells!

Great experience for kids as part of cubs group

The views are stunning, the bar / function room is spacious and comfortable, and there is a good choice of reasonably priced drinks.

Such an amazing course. It tests all abilities and will also give you a taster of personal fitness levels (hilly to say the least). The course is really well laid out and has some incredible holes with the views to match (at times). Definitely not the easiest or hardest course, but an enjoyable mix. Highly recommended 18 holes whatever your ability, as the course is very well maintained. Wait for dryer weather in minimal wind for the best experience. Happy golfing

Never been, friend showed me the golf course and view of Darwen and it seemed good but shame it was raining. Not a fan of single track roads though and didn't go for the golf, went for a gathering.

Golf course is in brilliant condition, really good challenge with a lot of brilliant holes and amazing scenery. It is really hilly and when the wind picks up its tough going. Pro was very friendly and club house with balcony is a great spot to enjoy a pint.

Managed get a £14 tee on Golf now. And ill just say wow. The course is beautiful , the greens for this time off year are brilliant. The views are spectacular and the green staff are more than welcoming . Winter mats are in use on the tees and fairways ( only found this out when I got there ) but still for £14 definitely worth a trip.

Very hilly course & buggy required for "mature" golfers! Wouldn't like to play it every week. Good views from top of the course. Greens a bit slow when we played them. Nice clubhouse. Great fish and chips.

Great course ,well kept and great views just could do with better directions to tees on a few holes but it was our 1st game here . Will certainly be returning..

Lovely golf course in good nick with some fabulous views. Well looked after in what is a great clubhouse.
