While out exploring we stumbled upon this cute Cuban themed rum bar in the middle of Old Town. They have an incredible happy hour - $5 mojitos! It’s the perfect spot for a drink and a snack while exploring the city. The interior is gorgeously decorated and the service was great.

Couldn’t describe the atmosphere better than old school “Rum-style bar”. When you see it, you will know why. Great atmosphere. The menu is limited to mainly rum (surprise!). The drinks were good - nothing outstanding. No water was offered to us, which would have been appropriate for a good cocktail bar. Great if you like Rum. Otherwise, there are better bars in Panama, if your time is limited.

Such unique ambiance and a tasty experience. We sat at a little bistro table by the door during a heavy rain storm and tasted 4 different kinds of rum - all were delicious in their own way. Great service too. I would recommend stopping here if you are able.

Really cool location for drinks! Loved the rum tasting flight & happy hour is on until 6pm everyday so you can try a bunch of their lovely cocktails. Feels like a secret, local spot and has such a nice ambience. Great place to spend a couple of hours out of the sun and feel transported to another time!

Loved this place! $5 happy hour cocktails were amazing - the rum punch was my favourite. Food was also great and the vibes were perfect. They have a great selection of rum and they do flights/tastings of their own. It was quite busy during happy hour but then cleared out after. Definitely add this to the list of places to visit in Casca Viejo.

Pedro Mandinga is the best rum bar we have ever been to (we have travelled the world). Andres is the best bartender in Casco, probably Panama and could compete with the best in the world. The attention yo detail is literally an art which I've never witnessed. Happy Hour is great Abigail and Carelis are attentive, plus the wings are amazing and the other food has always been excellent.

I came in for the Geisha Rum. Had a funky cocktail with it (although bot sure about the smoked coffee bean garnish). The Ceviche was perfect! Out if this world in a hot day. Decor is great.

It's a very ambiented rum bar in Panama's Casco Antiguo, one of this side of the world's very worthy to stop in. Its surroundings in the well renovated streets and historical monuments of the Old Panama. Really well equipped with all kinds of beers and with a wide choice of exclusive rums. Also a very cosy lounge room and sympathetic crew very expert with their cocktail practice. Use Panamanian rum and cane sugar for a local version of the mojito. All side orders really yummy since prepared on the spot especially for one's taste, so please be patient and drink your first glass slowly. Highly commendable and will certainly come back

By far, again, by far my favorite bar in Casco viejo. This room house welcomes you with fines cocktails and an amazing early XX century design. The cocktail master is sending away oroginal and tasty cocktails with Pedro Mandinga rum base. Must try it. Also till 6 pm they have happy hour, basically 50% discount on selected cocktsils and beers.

Love Pedro Mandinga!!! This spot is amazing. Great drinks and wonderful atmosphere. The coffee rum is amazing. We bought 2 bottles to bring back to California.

The basic Rum tasting didn't include their best rum, but they have a great selection of other good rums here too (loved Havana Club! And being from the US, this was a big treat!) Their food is great too. We had the tostones sampler and ate it before I realized I didn't take a pic! Our bartender was wonderful.

Expected more...missing rums from flights with no substitutions for missing ones. Went to try a more expensive one a friend recommended and they did not have it either. If you want mixed drinks, check other reviews. If you are a liquor tasting connoisseur, then make sure they have the flights you want to try; we felt the other options were not that good. Great service and ambience in Casco Viejo.

We stopped in to taste some rum. The decor was dark wood and simple. The vibe is cozy and welcoming. They have a variety of rums, liquor, wines, and bites. We did a tasting and it was pretty tasty. Rebecca took great care of us. She was friendly, attentive, and helpful.

Great place for a selection of rum and original rum drinks. Not a bad choice of food as well. Very classic feeling atmosphere.

Wonderful speakeasy-ish style Rum Bar. Enjoyed happy hour and a tasting with the bartender, my favorite was the Geisha coffee. Recommend giving this spot a try when walking around Casa Viejo

My wife and I had a great time inside of Pedro Mandinga Rum Bar located in Panama City. This speakeasy has a lot of great drinks that area ready for you to drink down! This was a great place in Panama City.

This is my absolute favorite bar in Casco Viejo. The cocktails are always fantastic and no matter what I order I am always delighted. Plus, if you love colonial Caribbean decor and salsa music, this is your place!

I passed this place several times while it was closed or at capacity. So glad I lucked in to getting a table. Tons of vegetarian options, most of which are totally unique! Cocktails unlike any others. Friendly, professional and prompt service.

I stumble upon this place walking the streets of Casco Viejo Panamá City, it’s a cute little bar at first sight but once your inside you’ll be captivated by the plethora of drinks and cocktails made from the great Mandiga Panamá rum!! If your visiting Panamá it’s a must stop. Try the rum tasting first and then order your drinks and cocktails with your favorite one.

This is a really lovely spot. The aesthetic was great and music was fantastic. I got the seculoda cocktail and it was delicious.

Happy hour until 6 PM = $5 for one of the best mojitos I’ve ever had. Also, the air conditioning is quite powerful. It’s almost possible to get chilly in here, even though the door was open when we were here.

I attended a rum tasting and the rum was fantastic! Smooth and unique flavors even for those who are not rum drinkers, Pedro Mandinga Rum is loved by all. They also have amazing food...so go hungry!

We stumbled on this gem 5 years ago in 2018 and have been looking forward to returning! And we are not disappointed. They have great cocktails and an excellent selection of rums. The menu is full of great bites!! Don’t miss happy hour 🍺🥃🍹🍷🥂
