Went very early to try to get the bypass for the most popular attractions, also going very early in the morning will allow you to visit one or two popular attractions without bypass before it gets crowded. Also, I was lucky to get admitted to meet Mickey in his home. The Disney app is essential to utilize your time much better and visit as many attractions as possible. By all means the electric parade shouldn’t be missed. Breath taking carnival of flights fracturing Disney’s most classic heroes. Then, at 8 pm the fireworks near the Cinderella castle are amazing, even if it lasted for 5 minutes only.

Great park! Amazing rides! Everything is very well kept and clean. The only weird thing is the girls taking pictures of their bears. They bring dozens of stuffed animals and keep taking pictures of them.....

Incredible experience, we went in Dec for Christmas time, just AWESOME!!!! Disney staff were super nice and friendly and they were always there for questions or directions. Rides were a bit fast with lines reaching 85min, but still great experience. A bit of an issue with the Disney app, wouldn't connect to register for shows or food reservations, dissatisfied with the app. You have to be on site to reserve anything as well! Food everywhere we went was great and staff again were awesome!!! Such an awesome experience for our family and my wife's birthday!

A lot of fun here. Went with my boyfriend to end the Asia trip and it was an amazing experience. I felt like a kid again. The rides and all the different themes were amazing. We even got a free pass to skip the queue from a member of staff as there was a celebration and she was so kind to give one to us as there wasn't much time left for us to do the last ride of the day. I really recommend it

Incredible service, especially considering the language barrier. The park was meticulously maintained, and the attractions were great. Beauty & the Beast was well worth the wait. One of the most advanced rides I've been on. Great variety of food and merchandise, and the way that they handle the number of people who visit this park is truly amazing.

The whole areas were very huge and you could feel fun and positive vibes around there. Eventhough I visited when it was raining, the whole experiences was quite memorable for me. They have many indoor activities so don't worry even if it's raining. Please buy ticket in advance and don't forget to install their application so that you can get information about waiting time, important locations, etc. And also, you have to wait for their final show at around 7pm, it was really great and well prepared.

Disney have taken good precautions for Corona virus, with social distancing measures in place, although not as strict as I would like. You sometimes need to remind teenagers to keep their distance but it's not out of malice and they happily comply when reminded. The lower amounts of people due to the entry restrictions was refreshing and wait times for the majority of attractions were sub thirty minutes

Nice place for one day trip. You will love it whether you are disney fan or not. The only issue is long waiting lines and huge crowds. Plan your schedule accordingly

I loved it!! It was great to see some things that Disneyland took out in California here in Japan. It was magical so magical and everyone is so helpful and polite. As is Disney tradition the park is very clean and the food is amazing. It was a wonderful day for me to spend a whole day at Tokyo DisneaSea. The magical amusement park that you must visit when you stay at Tokyo. You need to arrive here in the morning, especially if you want to try all playground. one of the happiest places on earth indeed. all rides are amazing. everything is well maintaned. things are organized. i love every second spent there, and will definitely go back.

I have only been to the parks now (July 2022) so I didn't experience much from the resort overall. But the environment of the whole place is always amazing and magical. The monorail is definitely worth a ride, even if you don't necessarily need it. And when you do it, I recommend going all the way to the front of the train to check on the view and the fact that there is no conductor in sight. It's really cool!! Also, if you have time, go visit the Disney hotels lobby areas. They are beautiful!!! (I did it last time I was around)

My recent visit to Tokyo Disneyland during the New Year was nothing short of magical. The park, adorned with festive decorations, truly captured the spirit of the season, making it a perfect destination to ring in the New Year. One of the most remarkable aspects of Tokyo Disneyland is the exceptional service provided by the staff. Every staff member I encountered was not only friendly but also went out of their way to ensure that each guest had a memorable experience. Their attention to detail and dedication to guest satisfaction is commendable and added significantly to the overall enjoyment of my visit. The New Year celebrations at Tokyo Disneyland are a unique blend of traditional Japanese customs and Disney magic. The special events and shows put together for the occasion were fantastic, with vibrant performances and stunning fireworks that lit up the night sky, creating an enchanting atmosphere. Additionally, the rides and attractions were as enjoyable as ever, with each one meticulously maintained and operated. The cleanliness and organization throughout the park were impressive, even with the large holiday crowds. The variety and quality of food available were also noteworthy, with a range of options catering to different tastes and preferences. Overall, Tokyo Disneyland during the New Year is an experience I would highly recommend. The combination of friendly staff, festive atmosphere, thrilling rides, and cultural celebrations makes it a must-visit destination.

My favorite Disney park so far! A beautiful clean park for all ages. The staff at this park are the best Disney staff in all the parks I have been too. Get your tickets in advance, especially during the busy season. And the early entry into the park is really helpful for booking shows and getting reserve seats for parades.

Such an incredible day out! The food and atmosphere was next level, some rides had very small wait times such as the Star wars one which was amazing, it was a spaceship ride going through space/movie scenes really fast. The nightmare before Xmas was a nice touch to the haunted mansion ride which I think is just a seasonal ride for Xmas. Next time I visit Disneyland I will invest in the premier day pass to skip the lines as near the end of the day line wait times were over an hour and as much as it was worth it we couldn't get all rides in we wanted before closing time.

You will wait in line for everything (rides, the washroom, restaurants, but they keep you moving, so it isn't super boring. The Disney attractions are for older Disney movies (Lilo & Stitch, Peter Pan, Toon Town), so these may make it more fun for adults than kids. Download the Disney Tokyo app. It's a life safer and is quite accurate on the wait times for rides. Also, restaurants are able to accommodate dietary restrictions, just ask for their special menu and they bring you a tablet that will show you what's safe after you enter your restrictions. Cross contamination is possible though.

Clean, well maintained, very polite and helpful people. Manageable ride line waiting times, especially with the app. Enough variety of rides, shows, and activities for all ages. There were no extreme rides which is consistent with Disney Land. Food were generally ok and better than other theme parks. Disappointing though was the fire works, which was less spectacular than previous ones, especially when it was towards the New Year countdown (that's why 4 stars instead of 5).

Marking this one off of my bucket-list! By far my favorite Disney park of all time. I Previously worked at Walt Disney world and have visited Disneyland Cali and Disneyland Paris and this is by far my favorite Disney Park i habe visited.. The place is huge.. it’s so well made and so impressive. The rides and shows are next level and the employees are extremely accommodating. Always wishing for more character experiences but enjoyed the character meetings I did encounter!

This is probably a controversial rating but in its current state, it just isn't with going. So much construction going on. Both castles are under scaffolding and plenty of the park is behind temporary walls. We went on a Tuesday which is probably the lightest times waiting for rides. 3-4 were closed for unknown reasons. The rides that were open were fun, like Star wars your and thunder mountain. My 8 year old had a great time. It was disappointing that everything seemed to be worked on at the same time but we were only in Tokyo for a few days. When it is fixed I'm sure it is more of a 4 star place, just not right now. Remember to use fast passes wisely. get a pass for a ride and go so other stuff while waiting. Fast passes are Tiffany valid for an hour ago you can get around and do things with shorter wait times

With the Standby pass there were no waits longer then 15 to 20minutes. Everything was magical and enjoyed it very much with the family. It's been a while since I went back to Disney but it was as amazing as ever!

A magical place like no other. One can never be too old for a visit to Disneyland. The helpful, kind staff and the spotlessly clean areas make the whole experience even more enjoyable. On the negative side, the endless crowds can be very exhausting, especially on weekends and holidays. It is recommended to purchase a Disney Premier Access pass whenever available.

I spent 2.5 days at the Disney Resort with my family. Honestly, I would be lying if I didn't say I felt a little disappointed. I was expecting magic, not literally, but at least the feeling of wanting to go back after leaving. 80-90% of the time is spent either walking to another attraction or waiting in line. If it was just this I wouldn't have minded as much, however, the way they try their best to ring your pockets dry is very annoying to see. It destroys the whole land of fantasy image they spent so much money to create. I will give 3 simplified examples. 1. Merchandise: the quality of the material used does not match the price they are charging. 2. Attractions: some require you to pay extra to use it. **I paid 10,000yen/person to get into the park, I feel I shouldn't be required to pay extra to use any of the attractions or see any of the shows. 3. Paid VIP: waiting in line for 1 hour and 30 minutes, just to watch someone who paid for the Disney VIP, I forgot the name, service get put in front of the line, repeatedly is frustrating to the MAX! I only gave it 3 stars due to the few attractions that put a smile on my family's face.

In my opinion this is the best Disney Resort in the world. The combination of the 2 parks give the perfect mix of classic Disney (Disneyland) and intriguing new attractions (Disney Sea). Definitely spend a couple of days here if you are Disney fan. If you only have 1 day, Disney Sea is the park to go to! Journey to the Centre of the Earth and the Japanese version of Tower of Terror are 2 of the best Disney rides of all time!

Very busy due to Halloween season but very enjoyable. Line waits were over 60 minutes but we didn't mind as the rides made it worth it and obviously expect it at theme parks. We got the headbands which you can buy all over the park.. queues for food/snacks can be long as well but again expected.

The day I go, there's too many people, making the Disney magic and charm less appealing. My recommendation is to download the Disney application and register your ticket prior to visiting for convenience. You can book many activities such as attraction, character greetings, and restaurants via this app but beware there may be a queue to access the website. Ask for a sticker from the staff for your first visit or birthday.

I've been going to the original Disneyland since I was a young but Disney Japan raised the bar, it's certainly world class. It's rare when something goes above and beyond your expectations. High quality atmosphere, people, service and food and ironically had the best Churro's ever here. I'm impressed at how the simplest thing like popcorn tastes so much better. There's also tasty snacks you won't find anywhere else. The resort was very accommodating and easy to navigate even though I did not speak the language.

It was an amazing experience during this pandemic but Japan as always strict and weird rules on everything, example to buy a PS5 you have to win a lottery to buy one and the same applied on Disneyland (lottery to reserve a place on any famous attraction. I tried my luck but unfortunately I didn't get it.

  • 5/5 Aaron F. 3 years ago on Google
If I could give this 6 stars I would. This park is the perfect combination of Disney magic and Japanese imagination. The food selections are supremely tasty, the cast members are polite and super helpful. The English is limited so it’s a smart idea to have some sort of translation available (shout out to Google Translate). The merchandise is unlike anything you will see here in the US. My favorite part of the whole experience is the crowds. Polite and organized! Buying the ticket can be a bit tricky. My best recommendation (outside of buying a ticket at the park) is stopping at a Disney Store in the area and buying it there. Overall Tokyo Disney is a must for any adventure seeking Disney fan!

The parks are world-class but the value you get for staying in the hotels is pretty slim. There's just not enough to do with kids to justify staying there. We've stayed in a character room and in the regular room and there's not much difference. It is wonderful to be near the parks but many of the connecting hotels offer a shuttle and it takes less than 5 minutes and saves you hundreds of dollars.

During Corona they are handling it super well, lots of precautions and they're still super friendly but just not as hands on. Many rides are closed and some food stands too ~ But it is still a very magical time! - There are still many parades and meetings but you're not allowed to go too close and there are markers to where you need to stand. They take your Temp at the security gate too. It's also alot less busy than usual! (BooHoo..) Also yay! CHRISTMAS!!!! (I went just before the Third wave on the 9th of December so I'm not sure if things got stricter from there.) I hope i was of use!

Prepare to waste your day making lines for the attractions, is better to download their app to see the estimated times for the attractions; fast past don't help much, since the make come really late on the day. The night show is great !!

Nice place to enjoy the theme parks. If you stay at one of the Disney partner hotels you get the facilities such as the shuttle bus to the theme parks. Hotel rooms were big because they provide them for families. There are lockers to store your luggage before enjoying the parks. You can even store your airplane cabin sized baggage in the big-sized lockers. Would be better if the food & beverages being sold within the resort premises comply to halal standards. Since they don't provide them (yet?), they let you bring your own meal and you can have it at the picnic area outside the park (get your hand stamped when you temporarily the park,so you can enter again). I appreciate their providing a private room for prayer. We were given 20 minutes to use the room, which was plenty of time. In fact we only need a few minutes for the prayer. A tip for Muslims, remember to REQUEST A ROOM at the park's Information Center. Don't pray anywhere else, otherwise the park staff would stop you (it actually happened to a friend of mine).

Everyone of course was so nice, I I wish they had more food selections and coffee. Not a lot of Characters but the parks were super cute as well at the rides.

Disneyland is fun for the whole family but it is terribly expensive. So if you go you need A LOT of money for food and snacks etc.... Because you are not allowed to bring your own food and drinks.

  • 2/5 Carl B. 2 years ago on Google
Atrocious display of corporate greed in allowing far too many people in. In this day and age, tickets should only be made available online with a cut off point. Queues for absolutely everything (except the rubbish bin). Only one drink machine I saw otherwise a 100m line. Could only get to go on 2 standby pass attractions (you can only get on with a standby reservation) and even so, there was a 500m line for the Indiana Jones ride entrance (I couldn't see how much longer once inside). I feel for those young families saving up to go only to face such crowds and queues which detracts from the ambience.

Amazing experience! Use the concierge as much as possible to book your meal reservations. Don't wait 'til the next morning to try to do so or you will be outta luck and stuck eating at the cafes or walk ups...I mean, they're not bad, but I know Disney could do better.

Experience with the disneyland restaurant was not good. It was snowing outside and many people had to stand in line while their food was getting cold. People had to sit outside with kids in the wet chair and table. The staff could have wiped the table and open the umbrellas of the table so the customers could sit. Other than that the resort was very good. I enjoyed the rides and wonderful views.

Our visit was fantastic, the staff were very kind and the resort itself was very nice! The hotel restaurants were a little too expensive for us, so we chose to eat at Ikspiri. The welcome center took our baggage to the hotel for us, which was very convenient. The weather wasn't good, so we spent time in our room. The room itself was very friendly and nostalgic, with several amenities. A nice treat for the family, once a year!!!

Such a great time. The Beautiful and Beast ride was amazing. Truly love going here and it wasn't very busy so the ability to ride different attractions repeatedly was great!!

Surprised by the both the number of people in a week-day and the overall organization ofthe park. Truly a wonderfull experience.

The experience here was amazing. Staff are super friendly and attentive to your needs. Park is the cleanest place I’ve seen for how many people are there. Go during weekdays for easier time getting on rides never waited more than 20 mins for the best attractions. Would definitely go back again.

  • 5/5 Ashli S. 1 year ago on Google
We had the best time here. Due to the pandemic and Japan being closed to tourists and the fact that we came on a weekday, it meant that there were no crowds. Many rides had zero wait time and there was only one ride (Beauty and the Beast) that had a longer wait time of 45 minutes. To note - if you’re vegetarian or vegan, the food options are extremely limited. Essentially you’re going to be eating garden salad in a cup, French fries and popcorn. Make sure you check out the little popcorn stands dotted around the park - they all have a different style of popcorn container. These are collectible and unique to Tokyo Disneyland.

Atrocious wait times, even on a slow day. The rides aren't that good. Very pleasing visually, but not much to them otherwise. The only reason it takes a day to see either park is because everything is so spaced out it takes forever to walk to each section.

It's Disney, but in Japan. An amazing little faux town that is a spectacle in itself. The rides and are mostly oriented towards children but I still found everything charming and enjoyable. Tower of Terror is rather intense.

  • 5/5 Megumi R. 1 year ago on Google
Go to Maihama Station, Tokyo Disneyland will welcome you outside the station. Everything here are very accessible. I recommend you to go on weekdays and check the weather. It is more fun to explore the place on a sunny day rather than rainy day. Bring water, towel and umbrella. And ride all the rides here, it is so fun. You would know why it is the happiest place on earth.

  • 5/5 Bruno V. 1 year ago on Google
Busy busy even during covid peak 7th wave. But well organized and most of the queues are well managed as you don't have to wait much time under the 34°C sunny weather. The new Beauty and the Beast ride is a must-go

  • 3/5 Dan G. 1 year ago on Google
A few rides were closed, and like every other Disneyland in the world it was very packed. Plus the heat didn't make it any better. In character experiences were very limited if at all. And you had to be 6 ft away from the character

As Aladdin sang in his movie, "a whole new world, a new fantastic point of view. " That's how I felt in the park, not only in how it is run, but also in the way the Japanese experience it compared to the USA. The lines would steadily get longer resulting in increased wait time, but would constantly advance entry few seconds, making the line feel shorter. All the rides and stalls were sponsored or "presented by" other companies other than Disney. Eating while walking or waiting in line wasn't allowed. The overall attitude of staff and employees in Japan seems completely different from USA Disney. The way fast pass is handled is by appointments for individual rides instead of "front of the line pass for whole park." Bought a fast pass for the Beauty and the Beast ride and it was definitely worth it. My favorite ride of the whole trip was this one because of the unique mechanics and technical aspects of the ride that just make the experience so much more magical. Overall fantastic and unique experience that I would gladly enjoy again if I had chance.

Amazing staff, not expensive compared to US parks. Good food, not for those who aren’t a bit adventurous. For American style food you have to look. They serve beer! The notices for wait time very accurate. The staff are amazing helpful and speak enough English to make it work.

  • 5/5 Todd M. 1 year ago on Google
Amazing attention to detail! Amazingly friendly staff! Ride lines are very long but a ticket is $67. So just plan to spend another day than you would for a Disney Park in the US. And because food and drinks are mostly quite reasonable (you can get a soda from a vending machine for under $2), that extra day won’t cost you that much.

Had a pleasant day at the park. It was crowded but you don’t feel the crowd when walking around. Most rides were 5-30min waits with only the priority access rides that were >1 hour. The eateries had ample seating and there are lots of places to eat at. Everyone sits down for the parade! Love that! Overall I would say Disney did a great job at crowd management and queue management.

Happiest place on earth! Friends recommended this place since it's one of a kind and they were true. Went here last weekend. It was jam-packed! Ride queues were long but some attractions have faster queue. I tried only a few rides since there were lots of visitors. Even the vendo has a queue! 🤣 Great thing, women's restrooms were not full and toilets are all around the vicinity. Sadly, our visit to the "journey to the center of the earth" with 180 minutes waiting time is unsuccessful because after a few minutes of waiting in the line, the staff told us to leave because of the down system. 😭 It was one of the rides I'm excited about... Anyway, i spent a great time here with friends. I feel like a child again. Thank you for bringing such a wonderful moment.

  • 5/5 Colin Y. 9 months ago on Google
Excellent atmosphere in every ride that I went. The staff were part of the celebrations with dancing, waving and clapping at all the rides, parades etc. They were able to help visitors who are English speaking with directions. There are rides for adults and rides for small children. Rides which are popular require more than 1h of wait, but you are wise to spread out these with premium access or with short queues so that it won't be too tiring.

I have only been to Disney World and never to Disney land specially in Tokyo. The lines were extremely long but the process they have they definitely make is very quick. I am impressed with the coordination they had at Disney. As far as the rides, there was nothing new. But the fact that is Tokyo, Japan - that makes the experience memorable. Japan is a GREAT COUNTRY!!! AN AMAZING COUNTRY!!!!

the best place to play with family. Disneyland area is very large. I come at 9 am and back at 9 pm. the Disney Resort apps can help us to see the queues for each game ride. so we can play more. there are parades during the day and at night

Disney sea. It's a really nice park. The only think what I didn't like was the payed fast pass. It really destroys the park image. The more money you spend the more attractions you can take. Example is Nemo. The line was mixed 50/50. So we spend 1.5 hours to access and the fast pass riders 30 minutes. Also it felt that they keep the line long so people start to buy these tickets. But beside that. The park has amazing rides.

  • 5/5 Tjhin A. 6 months ago on Google
What more can I say.. Its just a happy place. Come as early as you can and explore the magical world of Disney sea. I came at 12pm and only can explore 2/3 of the place. Don't worry of closing time rush, they managed it very well. No bottleneck whatsoever.

Really enjoyed it like a kid. Too much crowd and popular rides wait time is more than two hours. I enjoyed the journey to the centre of the earth, 20000 leagues under the sea, Indians Jones and Soaring.

Tokyo Disney Resort seamlessly blends Disney charm with Japanese hospitality, offering a magical escape. The Disney Resort Line, with its vibrant, character-themed trains, not only efficiently connects attractions but also immerses passengers in enchanting Disney soundtracks at every station. This attention to detail enhances the overall joy for Disney enthusiasts and casual visitors alike, making each journey a musical prelude to the enchanting world within the resort.

One day is barely enough to cover the whole theme park & it's rides. Waiting time for each ride is easily over 40 minutes, which is a bit frustrating. Management should consider more effective strategies to cut Waiting times. Overall, satisfactory feelings, honesty.

Visiting Disney Land Tokyo end July was one of the best decisions of our journey. It was extremely hot and therefore, a bit more shade would have been great. Or some loan sun umbrellas. There were a few attractions that had very long waiting times, but they were worth the wait. The food and drinks were inexpensive and very tasty and the Disney merchandise inexpensive as well. Nice staff everywhere, although only very few actors. Still, all over very recommendable.

  • 4/5 Japan E. 4 months ago on Google
Disney Japan is overall a good experience. I found the guests in their costumes to be extremely entertaining as they put a lot of effort to look like their favorite characters. The park itself is pretty small so it feels extra crowded with very long lines for rides. This makes it very hard to see and ride all attractions in one day even though the park is that small.

Went to Tokyo DisneySea with my family, we're a group of 8 which made navigating and planning a bit challenging. We checked out four thrill rides - Tower of Terror, Journey to the Center of the Earth, Indiana Jones, and Raging Spirits. All really cool and thrilling! Skipped Soaring because the line was just too long. Expect to wait a lot, but it's mostly worth it. The park's really big, so seeing everything in one day is tough. By the end, our feet were super tired, but we all had an amazing time. Great spot for families who love excitement and Disney!

First disneyland experience, to be honest everything is great in here. Food is decent, rides was fun. The only thing i dont like about it is the queueing time. The beauty and the beast section have got myself into a 130min queue :) crowded is expected regardless season and timing. Cheers

Tokyo DisneySea was outstanding. Yes there are plenty of lines to queue up in, but lines moved efficiently, and everyone was respectful. Did go on a Friday, so it was busier then had I gone earlier in the week. The varieties of food and snack options available along make it worthwhile (I could easily have made a day out of just trying all the buns and popcorn flavours), but including the shows and rides made this such a memorable experience!

  • 5/5 Grace R. 3 months ago on Google New
I went there with my senior parents. All of us had fun. My mom liked it better than Disneyland HK. Eventhough we were not able to ride a lot of attractions because of long lines, we enjoyed sightseeing and watching the shows.

  • 4/5 Alex P. 3 months ago on Google New
Great concept. Rides were fun but a bit short. Needed a couple more scary rides. End of day concert was wonderful and made my daughter cry seeing all of her childhood princes heroes. Overall great experience. Disney continues it's superb competitive advantage.

First time going to any Disney resort and was not disappointed! Park was organized, app was easy to use and everything went very smoothly. Rides were fun but even just wandering around was a good time.
