I have been attracted by the wonderful window that led me to get inside the shop, I had an amazing welcome by the owner, To be honest I wasn't hungry or firsty, However I could see her passion for explaining to us their wine and Sheep-cheese, so I was transported in her Reality and as Sicilian it's what I look for when I want an extraordinary experience!! Over my aspection, I was with my close Spanish friend and both agreed and enjoyed our time there. Most of those wine are local and as soon you seated their will acknowledge you of their choice combined with the different cured/ matured cheese. You could choose from a variety of different local brands of wine for your gifts, Visit the cheese museum. Highly recommend if go in toledo! Thanks Sergio Z.

Went to the Museum of Manchego Cheese out my interest in cheese and wine. I was warmly greeted by the owners of the museum. There, you can learn how Manchego Cheese is made. I tried the 5€ cheese and wine tasting menu. The gentleman has patiently introduced me diferente kinds of cheese and has recommended me a wine that I liked very much. Would love to recommend this place. Definitely worth going if you are a fan of cheese or you want to know more about the local cheese and wine.

Amazing experience! The owners are wonderful. They did explain so well about queso and vino and the products that you can buy in the shop. The selection is great. All top quality! We had cata de queso - and also de aceite de oliva. It's great to try things before buying. There is a little museum (3 rooms) related to queso y ovejas. A very unique place in Toledo, I am sure we will be back. Thank you!!!

This is a fun stop midway through your day in Toledo. Visiting the cheese museum is free and provide some good information about the manchego cheese that is produced in the region. Once you're done with the museum you can order some manchego cheese samples as well as some wine. The cheese samples are aged 3, 6 and 12 months I believe. They do have cheese and wine for purchase. Like I said it's a great place to visit midday for some cheese and wine and to take a little break.

What an amazing experience! For €6 per person you get a tour of the history of manchego cheese & how it’s made, followed by a tasting of 3 different-aged manchego cheeses, some snacks (small breads, black garlic & chili jam) to cleanse palates in between, and a wine tasting guided by one of their very knowledgable staff (Teresa was amazing!). Indeed it’s a family-run business. They also sell a fantastic variety of local wines and craft beers. Excellent value for money. Highly recommend!

We stumbled across this lovely museum and store. The owners are friendly and welcoming, and lucky for us spoke English. We had a wine and cheese tasting with explanation of the local areas and produce. It was a nice rest from walking the streets of Toledo, and in fact has turned out to be one of our highlights.

What a wonderful surprise! Too bad we just found this place on our last day in Toledo. We went in to learn more about the local wines and came out with 3 bottles of highly recommended wines to take back home. The gentleman that helped us is very knowledgeable and engaging. We had a tasting of a wonderful local wine and some cheese and pate. If you are looking for a good wine experience, look no further.

One of the greatest places we have ever been!!! My husband and I went for our Anniversary, on June 1st. They are a family owned business and they make you feel part of their family. They greet you with a smile and explain everything they have to offer. 1. A mini museum with information regarding the origins and procedure of making the manchego cheese. 2. A cocktail/bar area where you can taste the manchego cheese paired with an exquisite wine selection and crackers. 3. Different products, like jelly, cookies and much more for sale and enjoy. One of the owners, I believe her name start with A, was very friendly and welcoming. Thank you for making our visit a one to remember!!! If you are in Toledo or doing your research about places to visit, el Museo del Queso Manchego is a most in your list!

The owner of the place showed us the cheese museum and then offered us a wine and cheese degustation, for 5 euros. He explained us also a lot about his wine and cheese. You can see that he is very passionate and knowledgeable about his store. It was really nice and we enjoyed our time there. We certainly recommend this place to anyone who visits Toledo.

Great experience!!! We loved to wait for a table while seeing their cheese museum, enjoying the entire process, from sheep 🐑 to this delicacy! Nice environment! Finally, we ate 3 different maturation Manchego's cheeses accompanied with refreshing Spanish wines🍷. Everything was delicious!!! Last but not least, the owners and staff were kind and truly friendly.

I absolutely love the Museo del Queso! I went for the first time in 2019 and had the best experience. After moving to Spain, I knew I had to go back. I had the opportunity to visit again, and it was just as adorable and fun as I remembered. The customer service is incredible. We ordered the Cheese Tasting, and the staff was so knowledgeable and helpful. They talked with us and told us about each cheese and how to properly do a tasting. Not only is the service amazing, the products are of the best quality as well. I also got the Olive Tasting, and everything was delicious. For anyone visiting Toledo, you HAVE to stop at the Museo del Queso!

If you have the time and a little extra money I highly recommend doing the wine tasting. You can choose to have 3 or 5 glasses, and with or without food. I did the full 5 tastings with food and I was not disappointed! The cheeses/tapas they pair are perfect and the explanation for each wine was wonderful. The family that runs the shop/museum/tasting is incredibly lovely and if you speak Spanish the experience is even better as they can describe each wine and cheese in more detail. Can't recommend this enough!!!

My friends and I saw the sign for wine and cheese tasting for 5 euros and decided to walk in and it was a great experience! The owners were so nice and patient with us because our Spanish is not very good and showed us around the small museum and the store. Then they let us all sit and do the wine tasting even though they were about to close and spent time explaining every wine and cheese to us. Would definitely recommend!

Great tasting and educative experience. It is a small museum with free access providing an interesting overview of the Manchego origins, history and production. The guided cheese tasting is a must if you're there and it can be supported by local wine of great quality.

Family-run by lovely people. The museum is well-done and the tasting experience is very high quality and affordable. Huge selection of wines, liquor, beer and cheeses. Bring a bill from your country to add to their collection!

Extremely friendly staff that explains everything in detail and gives recommendations for things, like what you could take with you on the plane. The museum is small but cute, the food tasting is excellent. The owner clearly knows wines too and made excellent recommendations for us, we both loved the cheeses and the accompanying wine.

Absolutely loved this tiny, quirky place! The staff were so welcoming, and even though we didn't speak a lick of Spanish she was endlessly patient. The wine and cheese were delicious, and the hay bale in the corner will be a cherished memory of our visit ♥️

Museo de Queso was one of the highlights of my day trip to Toledo. The free museum is small but fun to explore. It is attached to a shop with an excellent selection of wines, preserves, and cheese so be prepared to do some shopping. I highly recommend adding the cheese tasting in addition to browsing the museum displays. Theresa was very knowledgeable in guiding the tasting and answering our questions. Definitely worth stopping in!

We loved this so much! The museum is free and it's great to learn all about the region (Castilla-La Mancha), the sheep, and how this cheese has been produced for centuries. We have always enjoyed Manchego cheese and now, with this new appreciation of where it comes from and the process by which it's made, we will love it even more. I just wish the documentary film had either subtitles (Spanish or English would help), or that the Spanish narration alternated with English. The tasting is great fun! It's affordable (€6/person) and includes servings of Manchego cheese aged different amounts of time, nuts, jam, duck pate on toast and a glass of wine or alcohol-free beverage of your choice. We loved the wine that we tried so much that we bought a couple of bottles to take home. Highly recommend!

We stopped here for lunch and really enjoyed the platter which we ordered for lunch. We could see other tables with the cheese tasting, but we were unable to organize it given our lack of communication as we only speak English. Had we been able to organize this, we would more than likely give a 5 star rating. We still had a lovely time here.
