100% WORTH IT! My friends and I recently did a half-day, private guided tour through Toledo, and I am so thankful we did! The experience was amazing—a for sure highlight during the one week trip to Spain! Upon booking the tour I had initially thought the price was a bit high, but after having done the tour I can confidently say that I’d gladly pay even MORE money to repeat the experience. Truly—a wonderful, wonderful experience. Javi was incredibly knowledgeable, a truly friendly person, easy to listen to and seemed to have an endless amount of information about any question we may have asked. He is lover of people, art, and history—but most of all—TOLEDO! You won’t regret booking a tour! Truly fantastic!!

We had a wonderful tour and afternoon with Javier. A private tour is a perfect option in Toledo because of the city size (easy to walk around) and there is so much history. Javier was full of knowledge and managed to keep a very casual vibe while also keeping moving thru the beautiful city.

Just had the most incredible tour with Javi. We have three kids ages 14, 11, and 8. We took a three hour tour through the streets of Toledo. Javi was informative and engaging to all of us. We had history lessons in art, architecture, and religion. He went into all sorts of secret passageways, and were taken back 1000 years. Highlight of our trip to Spain! Highly recommend!!

We recently had a private tour of Toledo with Diego. He was awesome! We saw so much and learned a lot. Diego was so knowledgeable and friendly. It was a perfect way to see the town and spend part of our day there. Highly recommend Diego and Destino Toledo Tours.

Our family of four did the 3 hour tour and savored every minute! Javi was a fabulous guide! He met us in Zocodover Plaza exactly as planned. His skills were impressively wide ranging. He was incredibly knowledgeable and informative and also easygoing and funny. We loved learning from him about the history of Toledo, its neighborhoods and its buildings within the context of the history of Spain and Europe. He was clear about the importance of preserving and learning from our history - the full spectrum from reprehensible to laudable - to inform a better future. He was relaxed and flexible, letting us get coffee, restroom breaks and shop for umbrellas as we wished. The detail he provided about the incredible art, treasures, architecture and history within the cathedral deeply enriched the breathtaking experience. He took us into centuries old excavated underground sites we could never have seen with a larger group. And he provided insight into the history of the Jewish Quarter. The whole tour was fabulous and it has greatly enhanced our love of Toledo. More expensive than larger tours and worth every cent! Highly recommend!

This was an amazing tour with the best guide, Javi. We learned so much about the history of Toledo and its relationship with the Jewish community. The city is gorgeous and the views spectacular. Even with the horrific heat this was my favorite day visiting Spain much due to the credit of Javi. Thank you.

Great tour of Toledo with Javi, who met us at the train station & then took us to the most important sites and more. Javi’s knowledge of the history of the city, its art, architecture & culture was most impressive. Javi gave us an amazing tour of the Cathedral & of the city of Toledo. You cannot miss this tour! Highly recommend!

My mom and I had a wonderful experience with Fernando! Definitely recommend him as your tour guide. He has a wide knowledge of art and history and can tell excellent stories using the two subjects!

Carlos was a knowledgeable and entertaining guide for our private group of 5! We had fun visiting the sights of Toledo, and he made sure to take us to the good spots, like the church and taxi ride to the views of the city. Carlos knew a lot about the places we visited, and pointed out things we never could have noticed by ourselves. He helped us find a restaurant for after the tour and recommended local treats. We would definitely recommend Carlos and his tour with Destino Toledo!

What an awesome tour. Our guide Lidia was very knowledgeable of Toledo’s history. Our driver was on time to pick us up at our hotel and was very friendly as well. If your future travel plans include Toledo, this is the tour you’re looking for. Ask for Lidia, you won’t be disappointed ;)

My family traveled to Tolédo, Spain last summer (2015) and had the pleasure of having a tour of the cathedral and learning of its centuries-old secrets. We also had a walking night tour and received a great education of the Roman undergrounds... What would have been bath houses and such. Tolédo sits on top of a whole other ancient, Roman city! It's amazing the wealth of knowledge that Natalia Gomez has of her beautiful city. See's a virtual encyclopedia! I HIGHLY recommend her and this wonderful tour! We'll suggest it to all of our friends and we'll certainly be back as Tolédo is continuing to uncover and preserve its unique history.

Did the tour in Spanish at 16.30 with Luis. I'm Italian and I have limited understanding of Spanish but he tried very hard (and succeeded) to make me undestand eveything by speaking slower than he normally would and by clearly enunciating. He is clearly passionate and knowledgeable about the city. Very interesting anecdotes, pleasant experience. Recommended 100 %

We recently toured the Toledo Cathedral with Javier of Destino Toledo. He was very informative, and took extra care to ensure that my father-in-law who was a bit slower than the rest of the group was able to hear all of his presentation. I would recommend Javi to anyone looking to learn more about Toledos history.

Super Professional & Great Experience We did the private tour with Javi! It felt like a family member showing us his town. Javi is very professional and he really takes care, I have a bad knee, he ensured we have minimum or no uphill walking at all. Loved experiencing Toledo with Javi. Definitely recommend.

One of the best tours I have ever had! Such nice people from the top down, so knowledgeable, and so helpful with information regarding Toledo and beyond. Javi was our tour guide, and it was a joy learning Toledo from him and being around his positivity. I would give Destino Toledo more than 5 stars if I could!

Amazing experience. We are Spanish, living most of our lives no further than 30 km from Toledo, and this was the first time we did it in this way. We were able to know the ins and outs of Toledo thanks to Fernando, the guide. He was so patient with us and answered all our question, most of them not even related to Toledo itself. We were longer than 3 hours even though we hired 3-hour tour, but he made sure we visited everything we wanted, mindful of the heat! 100% recommended!

😐 Came here with a day tour group. Our food was pre decided, so I expected flawless food. But I was wrong. The starter that can be seen in the picture was actually quite good, but the main course which was some sort of meat I can't recall was disgusting. It tasted like it had just come out of the micr...
