Nice place to watch football, but a huge improvement regarding services and facilities are urgent to be managed. There is no official parking authority, so many of people end up to pay illegal parking. The toilets and muslim prayer area should be renovated.

Home Satdium of PSM Makassar. Not really big but it always full of attendace and supporters!

Historical football venue, built to celebrate one of earlier sport event in newly established Republic of Indonesia. My father said he came here to watch musical concert in early 60s and it was a huge event. We both came here to watch out local football club played, and one of the most memorable was when PSM was the first Indonesian football club to ever compete in Asia level event. Teams from China and Japan came to play here at that time. During my early college years the venue experienced a little bit of renovation to comply FIFA standard and that was for the Asian club competition. Glad to know that the current governor has made plan to take over operations of this place and also put on idea to rejuvenile the whole site and building.

It's a big open stadium for anyone who want to enjoy some sports or only have a morning walk with family. They have badminton court, swimming pool, basketball court, and of course a quite big size of soccer field. If you would like to watch some soccer game between local team, it will be done here.

PSM as the legendary football club of Sulawesi hosted by Mattoangin Stadium, unfortunately like all public facility in Makassar the stadium its self is not yet certified for Asian standard, basic facility like grass and stadium bench and lighting also the main problem need to be fixed. Strategically located in city centre make it is easy to access to the stadium from all destination.
