$106 for this? Ridiculous. Would rate 0 if I could. Edit: half a tray of French fries and onion rings is a catering order? Would it have helped if I just said “8” orders of French fries? Cut me a break. Real professional response. Trays were half full. Crooks! Speaks volumes that you think this is a “good deed”!!

This was our third time dining at Windward Tavern. The food is always delicious and the staff is friendly and knowledgeable, the atmosphere is great. We were lucky once again to get our favorite waitress Barbara, she makes us feel at home. Even if you order take out the service is fantastic. Today we ordered the mussels and empanadas, both were delicious. But we forgot to take pictures of those. I had French onion soup and my husband had chili. And we both ordered the pork tenderloin. Everything was perfect, and we had plenty of leftovers for lunch tomorrow.

Wow! I got the hot roast beef sandwich and oh my goodness I couldn't find the bread lol. The chocolate martini was also just as amazing. My best friend and I will definitely be back. The atmosphere is a 10 also very cute little place.

Great restaurant next to windward beach. Large tap/beer list, big bar, great menu (try the burger!) And tons of rotating specials. Wait staff is attentive and very nice and the owner Mort is always around to say hello. One of my regular spots because I always leave happy

Food was absolutely 💯 delicious! Super friendly staff at the bar and even met the chef and the owner and had great conversation! Awesome vibe!!

Pizza and Calamari was good. All came out hot from kitchen. The problem was the waitress was almost non-existent. Never offered garlic, grated cheese, etc for pizza. The people right next to us got the pizza and the waiter was on point. If you're a waitress, can't show up once or twice, especially when you have the luxury of food servers.

The wings are over the top our waitress barbara was excellent definitely coming back my new place for wings Chicken Valdastano- breaded chicken cutlet, stuffed with mozz cheese and pan fried topped with mushrooms, caramelized onions marsala sauce, served over linguine.

Been here many times. Always just ok. It's local, so it's convenient. Ordered the French Dip last night. Had to be the worst I've ever had. The meat was luke warm and loaded with grizzle. Very disappointing. They should have been embarrassed to let that leave the kitchen. Not fresh at all!!!

Great Sunday dinner! Lightly fried crispy calamari, large salad and excellent broiled scallops. One bottled beer and one house drink. Daniel our waiter was great. For dessert Max's Monster Supreme was delish.

They had live music, outdoor seating, and a great atmosphere. Food was delicious, highly recommend the Tuna bites.

Great place for lunch or a cozy, romantic, or family dinner. They have everything that makes it a perfect place to enjoy food and company. The food is always amazing. Service is excellent and servers are always on top of things without hovering over you. 10 out of 10

I would not recommend dining here. To start, we ordered blackened filet bites, which were the saltiest things I’ve ever had. I ordered a burger for dinner, which had a piece of paper inside the burger. Finally, we ordered two ginger-ale sodas and the drinks were flat. To top this experience off, we received no compensation for the experience/meal. Terrible experience and we will not be returning.

Dining with family at this eatery was a nice treat. Good food, nice wait staff. Glad we decided to stop for a bite to eat.

This was my first time dining at this establishment. Our party of three was greeted upon entering the bar area and sat at a high top table at the rear of the bar. Server Lisa handed us menus and immediately took our beverage order. Upon her return, we each ordered a Surf, shrimp scampi, and Turf, filet mignon, and clam chowder in lieu of salad. Despite the bar and surrounding tables being full, we were able to have conversations without raising our voices to hear each other. Dinner was served, and we found each order cooked as we requested. We each thoroughly enjoyed our delicious meals. After dinner, we enjoyed desert and specialty coffees. Our greatest surprise was the amount of the final check that totaled $36.00 for each of us. I highly recommend this establishment and can't wait until I have another opportunity to visit again!!!

4 of us went to dinner. Drinks👍 appetizers were so good. And our dinners were amazing. Chicken Parm. Chicken fran. Smothered pork chops. NY Sirloin. All cooked to perfection. Great waitress. No complaints

Food was decent. The pizza I had was okay, it had holes underneath the crust meaning its premade! The baha tacos were good only problem was i just ate the inside, because the shell tasted like paper. Been here twice and the first time was better than the second time.

Just had lunch and was not disappointed. First time at the Windward Tavern. Food was delicious, our waitress was lovely and the restaurant was clean. My husband had the burger and I had the Fish and chip sandwich. Highly recommend. We will be back.

I have been here many times, and have had very nice meals with my family. Today I was there, late afternoon with my family. I ordered the same thing I usually order, steak tips with horseradish sauce. I can’t tell you how bad this meal was. The steak, which is Filet, was so fatty I had to spit most out in my napkin. The rest were so over salted I actually drank my iced tea and my grandsons apple juice. I told our server Cole but he didn’t seem interested. Next outing I may consider another restaurant.

Due to shortage on staff all diners were seated inside. Felt a bit cramped and overwhelming. Staff was attentive but clearly overwhelmed. Our table had the classic skins, the chicken française, one of the burgers and shrimp pasta dish. We ordered a hot dog for a 3 year old that was longer than her arm, the waitress never mentioned the size. Overall food took a bit to bring but everything was delicious.

I’ll say service was 5 star. The meal was maybe 2. I’m disappointed. I had heard good things about Windward Tavern for some time now and have been meaning to visit. The onion soup tasted of salt - that’s it - just salt. There were maybe two pieces of onion in there. I ordered the 14 oz NY strip. Said medium rare to medium. It came out medium well to well done. Cut into it and it was dry as a bone and tasteless. I topped it with the butter from the bread basket, it didn’t help. I’m not big on steak sauces, but covered this in it to get enough moisture to eat it without choking. I had hoped for better in a local restaurant with so many rave reviews.
