Not particularly their fault..... It's just Everything is so scattered n Maze like. They're missing most of the equipment I use for my gym workout. Battle ropes are locked away. No chin up machine. Etc. Everything is outdated and worn heavily. Feels like a forgotten place that hasn't seen funding since 1980. I originally came here because my gyms pool is closed for maintenance and they have a running track... but... I'm very disappointed... I think I'll go to a different YMCA.... Once again. Not particularly their fault. No hard feelings against them. Just pointing out a few things

We joined the Y so my autistic son has some activities to do during the winter months. I love the water park, it's perfect for all of my kids (ages 12, 10, 3 and 2 months).

Nice facility, but wish the kiddie pool was open or they would tell us it wasn't on their Web site. We showed up during it's hours and they said the water was too cold so it was closed.

Excellent swim facilities with hot and cold bath, moderate pool temperature, and 24X7 life guard. Cheap extra swimming lessons. And membership starts at only $40 per month.

Excellent and courteous staff. Clean facilities. Fabulous programs and teaching staff. Jeff Allen the Director is an excellent and effective manager, who cares about his staff and members. Fabulous front desk personnel who make you feel wanted and appreciate your membership.

Really great gym that has something for everyone. As an athlete, I wish there were more squat and deadlift racks. I also wish there were air assault bikes too. But I don’t think that’s enough to give 4 stars.

The energy at this Y is so very good and refreshing. The diverse members are friendly. Children are taught and demonstrate good manners. My personal trainer has helped me with motivation. Things at this gym are personal but not intrusive; it is a place I love to spend time at.

Great front desk assistants that greet you by name! Great volunteers and paid workers. Great Personal Trainers. Love the energy being around people who work hard at getting and maintaining great health. West Shore YMCA is another organization of connections with healthy people and families

Have been with the Trindle Road YMCA for more than 15 years, as a volunteer and a patron. The staff is always very friendly and helpful, and I hope to continue there for years to come.

They have two pools but the availability for rec swim is limited. One pool is used for lane swimmers and the other the swim team. If you're able to make it at 4pm maybe you and you child can swim but other than that you have to wait until Friday or some time over the weekend. Not so family convenient.

The Y offers good equipment, friendly staff, a sense of community, and excellent facilities. As a daily user, I have made friends and enjoyed the mental, emotional and physical benefits of a regular exercise routine in a great environment.

My son and I go here 3x a week. It's unfortunate the place is understaffed. But we always have a blast.

Old building, old not very comfortable locker room. Most frustrating, that only privileged members could use sauna. At other branches sauna is accessible for all members

I love the YMCA when they are working up to snuff. But lately that has not been the case. Either one. Or the other. Or BOTH pools have been out of commission, of late. This seems like bad management if you are not on top of maintaining things so they are out of order. Also the swimming lessons and swim team are important elements, but so are your other patrons. It seems like, pool wise, they are at the bottom of the heap and not given equal lanes/priority as the others.

Used to love this y. Rn both pools are down! It's crazy!!! Hours are super limited too. Would like to see more effective use of staffing, especially considering the pools are down! Staff is super friendly! What's the y without a pool? Pool a is far too cold!!!! You would think they would at least try to balance the temperature!
