Has great Mediterranean vibe and the food is not bad. The service could be improved a lot. They charged us extra 3% just for using card to pay. Credit card is one thing they were charging extra even on debit cards. If they improve service and get rid of this unnecessary charge they would do better. Go there if your specifically looking for Mediterranean food. If not then look elsewhere for a better time.

Highly recommend this place! Fantastic food! The Greek salad is *chefs kiss*, especially when paired with their garlic sauce, which is a must have for garlic girls like me 😉. My fiance loves their rice. He usually gets the chicken shawarma platter which says a lot since he's usually a beef guy! The servings are huge so keep that in mind when looking at the prices - very worth it (especially in this economy). Customer service here is also awesome and I love the statues inside the restaurant 😀

Choice between Shawarma city and Venus chose "Venus" Good food and good taste as well however meat quantity was less for mix platter of 3 meat for $$ Will also try shawarma city next time !!!!

The rice used for my order was really Terrible! Probably microwaved, it was watery and tastes like plastic. Edit Jan 10th: never responded to email

This was my first time ordering from here and will be the last. Food was not good at all! Very salty and didn't taste fresh. The Greek fries were drenched in sauce and overcooked. I love falafel and have had it many times from different places and this was the worst I've ever had. They were hard and tasteless. I bet they froze them and then microwave them to order! Very disappointing

Their prices are fine and their shawarmas are delicious. My wife always orders hers with rice and I get mine with fries. P.S. their hot sauce is HOT but delicious! We'll eventually try other things, but currently we can't get enough of the shawarma. The baklava is also delicious.

Maaan, idk about no Ethiopians cooking Greek/Mediterranean food, I just wasn't feeling it. They put that white stuff all over my platter, I don't even like that s#!+. They should asked /put it on the side of the dish. They basically prepare the food how they like it. And the rice was terrible.

Ordered some food from GrubHub and the food looked great... until I noticed they put a garlic sauce onto ..no biggie.. The problem is they will not respond or give me my money back for a mistake order...I never eaten the food due to the sauce.

The bowls they make now are absolutely amazing! I hope you keep this around. I ordered it yesterday n ordered it again tonight. Highly recommend!!

Puts nearby restaurants to shame. We had gyro and a chicken wrap with fries. Used door dash.. Delicious and very fair pricing.

The gyro wrap was nothing less than perfect. Be sure to ask for some of the homemade hot sauce for an extra treat. The gyro meat was moist and tasty , the garlic sauce was flavorful but not overpowering, and the wrap was what tied it all together perfectly- soft and tasty and not dried out and flakey like so many other wraps. I can't wait to go back again the next time I am visiting the Buffalo area.

No one there but take out took 15 minutes to prepare from the time I arrived. The wait was actually considerably better than the food, which was not merely the worst 'Greek' I ihave had but the worst food period. The faux Egyptian atmosphere was equally tasteless.

We absolutely love when the Venus Food Truck comes to ECMC! They never cancel & the food is a nice hefty portion unlike many other food trucks in the Buffalo area. The workers are absolutely delightful and always smiling

I booked the Venus Food Truck for our August Employee Appreciation day. From the beginning they were prompt to answer, they worked with us on menu options that fit our budget, made a last minute menu addition without batting an eye, called us the day of the event, and then hit the ground running when they arrived at our plant. Andy, thank you so much for providing absolutely delicious food, as well as professional, timely, and above all friendly service! Folks, if you haven't tried them, you are missing out!!

Used to be a regular a few years ago when I lived in UB south. Used to be great. Now they sell overpriced dogfood. Wraps (hardly qualified as pita, more like paper) filled with lettuce, and sprinkled with atrocious meat. The chicken was in tiny pieces, and the beef was also in tiny pieces with the texture of anything but beef. What happened?? Never going back again to a business that can charge this much for such low quality.

Ordered a chicken solvaki , worst salad ive ever ordered, dressing was watered no taste or seasoning , tiziki sauce was watery amd tasted like mayonnaise, and the chicken looked like mushed buffalo chicken not greek grilled, i tossed the entire order in the garbage, sad to waste the food/money (chicken) …. wasnt even good enough for my dog. Never again!!!

I don't normally leave reviews, but I always hesitated to order from the "ghost kitchens" and decided to try here because the normal Venus location is great. The food from their ghost kitchen was just as good (if not better?) than the physical location. Bowls are a great value, fresh, etc. Highly recommend!

I ordered takeout from this restaurant and it was the worst Mediterranean food I’ve ever had. Everything was a bland pile of mush. The combo platter was a combination of some kind of shredded meat, but there was no way to distinguish the chicken from the gyro. The white sauce smothering everything was tasteless, including the extremely mediocre frozen fries. Also, I woke up sick in the middle of the night after eating the food. Do not order from here. Update in response to the owner: Not true! I moved the food to a plate to reheat it because it was cold upon arrival. No mushing! You still did not address the quality of the meat or where it comes from/ why it does not look like chicken or gyro from any other mediterranean restaurant. The food may have been made to order, but it does not taste good (it had almost no taste at all) and does not live up to the standards of even the most basic local restaurants. No one paid me to write this review.

I ordered 2 gyro platters for my son while he was getting tattooed. He said the food was great, only issue was there were no forks or napkins in the bag lol. Simple mistake. Luckily he's getting tattooed by his dad and he had a fork on hand. Great deal through Uber eats as well.

My family and I ordered through DoorDash, and it was so good, very nice and hot. I couldn't get enough of the garlic feta dip. 🤤 Everything was so great and delicious! My only complaint is the take-out containers. Picked up two, and they broke so easily. Thankfully, I was able to save the fries, and the other broke over the table and didn't fall far. So so good. We all loved it!

I have been eating here for over 7 years and their food never disappoints! The owner is wonderful as well. If you’ve been thinking about trying the food, 10/10 recommend

I’ve been coming here for years and it’s always been a 5 star experience. Absolutely my favorite Mediterranean place in WNY. And I always, always buy a container of garlic sauce to-go. The shwarma wrap or shwarma over fries is to die for. My kids love the food too, and they love the wall that people are allowed to sign. They come back and look for their names. Service has always been great, super friendly staff.

Was by far the best food we had at the fair! Delicious feta fries, shawarma, and baklava. The guys working the food truck were so friendly and gave us extras for our wait (was a longer wait due to popularity of their food truck and high quality of food!!) will definitely be ordering takeout from their restaurant now that we discovered them.

Came here and ordered chicken and gyro wraps. They were perfectly wrapped and the chicken and gyro was so good. Christina and Kayla were amazing. 👏

Very good food. Used to get delivery from here all the time and it is always good and a very fair price. Ate dine in for the first time and it's a funky but cool little place inside. Food was even better as it was fresh and crisp.

First time at this place. Our work ordered lunch and I had the chicken bowl. Absolutely fantastic. Haven't had good Greek in a long, long time. Their garlic sauce is outstanding. We'll definitely order again. The bowl came with black olives which could've been improved with Kalamata olives, but it certainly didn't detract from the meal. Thanks for a great meal!

Went there for lunch and ended up spending $18 for a mixed platter and a drink. Food was just ok. Large portion, but very dry meat. They had the door fully open, in a 46 degree weather makes it pretty cold inside. All of the tables were dirty as well, place has fruit flies, one ended up landing in my plate. On top of it, there’s middle eastern music playing pretty loudly, so if you want to relax it’s not really the place. The only positive thing was a girl at the front register, she was incredibly sweet and provided amazing customer service.

I order from here often, and the quality has been declining over time. I ordered a beef shawarma platter and the meat appears to be shredded and has a consistency similar to tuna. I’m very disappointed as this isn’t the first time the food has been a little off. I kept hoping they were just having an off day but unfortunately this doesn’t appear to be the case. Shawarma should not look or taste like this. The chicken shawarma platter also appears to be ground chicken, which isn’t shawarma at all.

I always get extra meat and extra pita with extra sauce because the food here is so delicious. The chocolate cake is perfect!
