Best pancakes I've had. Chicken was tasty and super crispy, which I liked. Turkey bacon wasn't properly cooked but everything else including service was good so I'll give it 5 stars.

I normally don’t give a review like this but this place has terrible customer service. Not once but twice in the last month I ordered takeout and specifically requested my food come a certain way. I get home items are missing. Not prepared the way I asked. When I called the first time I was promised a gift card of what I paid a week goes by no card. I had to drive back to this location and speak with the manager. Today ordered a breakfast item to go its egg whites on English muffin no egg just whites.and the sauce was missing. I will never go back to this location again. I’ll stick with DENNYS the service is way better.

Inexpensive comfort food in a relaxed atmosphere. Coffee and service were fantastic!

I'm consistently surprised at the good food and excellent staff, here. We like to come here at odd hours to have breakfast foods. It's always friendly excellent service and good foods. Only complaint is that some of the bench seats are worn out. But, if it's not busy switching to another is always easy.

Service was fast, plenty of parking. Servers are friendly and good to the kids. Recommend to stop by if you’re in the area. Good for family and friends. They have some daily specials and kids eat for free on certain hours

I've been to this location many times, and each time the staff have been friendly and attentive to everyone at my table. Food is hot without burning your mouth with kitchen times of less than 15 mins for a table of five people. Portions are more than enough to satisfy your appetite, with maybe a bite or two left over, without leaving you feeling like you need to order something else.

Three stars because wait staff was excellent. The scrambled eggs, hash browns, bacon, and sausage great. However, the cook totally botched the crepes twice and then couldn't get the pumpkin pancakes right either. The griddle was too hot so crepes burned and rubbery and pancakes burned and raw inside. A simple fix that no one could seem to figure out. iHOP is my favorite breakfast place, thier crepes my favorite followed by my seasonal favorite of pumpkin pancakes. Three strikes and out for Maple Rd.....I won't return to this location. And why doesn't this location have French Vanilla creamer?? That is usually a staple at iHOP restaurants

Food was amazing . Definitely have the best crepes I've ever had . Alot cheaper than Bob Evans where we usually like to go. But I wasn't pleased with my service. Told the waitress apple juice for my 2yr daughter & chocolate milk for my 10yr old son . Brought chocolate milk out for both of my kids & my daughter can't have it so she was upset everyone else had a drink and she didn't. Also forgot my toast so had to wait an extra 15 minutes literally after getting my food... But other than that I'd go back . Just because the food was so good.

This was the first time i went to Ihop after being banned from the Cheektowaga location. My daughter wanted the new Wonka menu items so i bit the bullet. Drove to the Amherst location and it was a totally different experience. Greeted by a worker who looked like she genuinely liked her job! How refreshing! Food wasn’t ready for pick up ( I was early) but felt comfortable waiting. The manager came over to make sure i was being helped and got my food. I walked out happy.The vibe was completely different. They asked for my name to pull up my order. They did not insist i proved i had an order like the other less friendly location. They were pleasant from the moment they saw me unlike the other location whom immediately made me feel uncomfortable. This manager smiled unlike the other manager who scowled the entire time. Take notes Cheektowaga!! The food was great! I had the dream berry wonka biscuit that was delish. I actually think IHops biscuits are better than any other fast food restaurants. Love em! Thankyou to team Amherst for restoring my trust. Im still banned from Cheektowaga location but its kinda like being banned from Payless at this point- nobody liked those shoes anyway! 🫢😂😂 Four stars ✨ as theres always room to improve.🫢😂

Very welcoming and friendly environment. Everyone was friendly and helpful. They even adjusted menu for us. Me, being from out of town was very impressed with the server she made sure everything was perfect, wish I had gotten her name but she was excellent!!! Wish there 10 stars because everyone there was doing a great job- they need a raise managers!!!

Walked out after sitting for ten minutes then the waitress go ahead and takes the orders of everyone seated after us. My 86 yeah old father never says this but this time he said let's go. He's never walked out of a restaurant in his whole life. Do better.

Theses dry flatcakes were nothing like the tasty, fluffy, filling pancakes that I’ve grown to know and love. I ordered a full stack and left full of disappointment.

Late breakfast for 2 and very happy with the food and service. We were in town for a ball tournament and don't have an IHOP in Canada.. French toast was very well cooked but still moist in the middle with just a hint of cinnamon. I had the spinach and mushroom omelet which was fluffy and no hint of oil. The fresh fruit was actually fresh. My daughter enjoyed the protein pancakes with the banana baked into the pancake. The sweet tea was also very good and had bottomless refills. I would definitely go back and glad we chose IHOP over the place the across the street that rhymes with "Benny's".

Staff were very friendly and kind, however they did mess up our order. They were very sweet about it though and fixed the issue quickly. Very nice and professional place and would recommend if your looking for some delicious waffles and pancakes!

Food was terrific. Way better than in Niagara Falls Ontario. The staff is extremely friendly. I would return. The only knock would be the bathroom but it wasn't even bad enough to lose a star. The restaurant was great.

Best IHOP. There was an elderly veteran sitting alone. By the time I had the opportunity to offer to pay for his meal, the owner of this Restaurant sat with him. Really sat, they talked enjoying each other. My heart soared. Not only was the service fantastic, the food fresh and good but the people. I was humbled by this act of humanity and hospitality- please frequent this restaurant. The deserve much success and respect.

My friends and I were in for lunch today and want to tell you how much we loved the food and the wonderful, friendly & attentive service we received from our waitress, Gabby! Food was good. Our server was very good. The restaurant itself was too crowded and people were seated too close together in my opinion. Also, one of the busboys cleaned the seats then the table with the same cloth, ugh!

Service was good, more servers would benefit the experience. Staff seemed overworked, food was fine. The only complaints I had were the wait for entry and food was a little longer then I'd hope but that's understandable for the holidays. The main issue is there was some dried food on the cup I had. Overall fine experience

I have been to this IHOP before. It is right near the University of Buffalo. It is a nice and good sized restaurant. The staff is hard working, especially, if it is a football game weekend. The breakfast is good. Get there early especially on weekends, it can get very very busy. I come here because my hotel I stay at doesn't include breakfast. It has reasonable prices. It is right near all the hotels as well.
