I love this place! Come here once or two times a year. Full in the summer, just right in autumn!

This is a very beautiful river beach. The water is clear, pure and quite cold as it comes straight from the mountain but it felt quite refreshing to me, especially on a hot day. The surroundings are breathtaking, with the traditional stone houses and the forest. There is a trail till Piodão that you can explore. There is a café and toilets are available. The parking area is free, it's not big, but we didn't have any trouble during a week day. Highly recommended.

Sometimes you have to let go of the itinerary and just enjoy your surroundings. This place was picture perfect! The water was cold but felt so rejuvenating. We went late in the evening so less people to share this surrounding with.

Beautiful location, close to piodão village. You can hike there (1 hour each way from Piodão) or go by car. The water is clean and fresh, great for a summer road trip!

Amazing cool waterfall well maintained and accessible. Please take all the things you would to a beach. Just short of a changing room and toilet but the natural beauty is not to be missed. We took our baby in the pram through a unmetalled pathway off the road. A nearby bar has a toilet only for clients and some good food if not taking a picnic basket.

Amazingly beautiful place, can't get over how serene it is here. We did the beautiful walk from here to piodao and would highly recommend

It is a small swimming (or rather wading) area with lots of people in it. It is ok to cool down after a long drive, but it is too crowded to enjoy. The hanging bridge is closed. However, you can climb the hill for nice views, or follow the trail to Piodao, which is a very picturesque village.

Very scenic, amazing river beach with same great hikes to Piódão (there is an easy hike 50mins and a slightly longer tougher hike on the way back 1 hour). Has a small cafe/bar at entrance and parking wasn't too bad. It's fairly small and gets busy, so worth arriving before lunch to get a good spot.

Lovely spot, water levels still very low. Had a picnic on the stones. Easy access from the parking spot.

Very pretty but not very comfortable place to chill, bring a very fluffy towel or foldable chair cause there is no sand or comfortable place to lay down and enjoy the sun
