Love this place and have visited for many years. Getting in was a palaver as it took longer to get from Burford roundabout than it did to get the there from Oxford! Some information via social media would have helped. We had no idea why the queue was so long and as we had already purchased tickets we waited. Once in the park you weren't aware of how busy it was unless you wanted food/ drinks /toilet. If you wanted the train you'd be better off later in the day as the queue was insane. Everything was pretty much as I remembered. I didn't quite understand why they had closed off one end of the walk through bird/wallaby /tapir enclosure? It made it a bit of a trek to walk back out again instead of simply adding pads to the exit. Especially as the entry ones had dried out. That was the only disappointing part of the place. Many animals weren't there and the ground around the wallabies was dry and simply mud. Overall its a great value day out. Take a picnic and be prepared to wait a while to actually access the park. It's a great place to visit if you have limited mobility as it pretty flat with good pathways.

Such a nice zoo. Booked online, was straight forward. The lady asked for the code to retrieve tickets. It’s quiet busy but the queue is going quickly. Massive car park! The itself is very clean, plenty of greens and dog friendly! Some places inside do not allow dogs. Perfect for families. Rhinos, giraffes, you name it.. the animals were in good health so I assume that they are taking good care of them! Beautiful getaway. Fascinating creatures!

We went mid week during the school hols and it was packed, this is not a problem though as the park is huge. I'd recommend taking a picnic as food queues are long during peak times. Its a beautiful day out, the flowers and plants around the park are stunning. The animals appear really well looked after and the little farm park area where children can touch the goats, rabbits, guinea pigs, ducklings, etc is really cute. There is a little train with stations around the park that you can hop on and off of, it toots and the kids absolutely love it. If you want to wear your kids out, this is the place to go.

What a lovely park. Extremely clean and tidy. Big car park with disabled parking right next to entrance. Right from get go from the ticket office to gift shop were Extremely friendly and helpful. We were by giraffes and daughter had her assistance dog with her and I asked a lady who worked there if assistance dogs were allowed into giraffes and she said sorry I don't know I'm just a gardener. I told her that's a great job and was doing a great job helping to keep the garden's immaculate and offered to check. All the gardens were great. There are still lots of flowers to see blooming. There is a massive play area for kids with a huge tree house and a smaller one for younger children. A big rope bridge . A big pyramid climbing frame and lots more to do. The cafe area was nice and clean and lots to choose from. Chicken chips and beans were great. Good portion and jacket potatoes were tasty. Lots of seating with a big glass enclosure with animals in there . Gift shop were stocked well also. It will be great to take the grandchildren there next summer in better weather.

Great place to visit for family and friends with kids. Conveniently located, however, unfortunately not accessible by public transport. Huge collection of animals with options to see some of them from very close proximity. It has a very nice collection of reptiles as well. There are a huge number of bird species as well. The details of all the animals/ reptiles/birds are given to have more information about them. They have a nice variety of restaurants for takeaway and dine in as well. I think there was a pub as well but unfortunately I was not able to visit it as I had to drive. Overall, it was a very nice place to have a day out.

Lovely park! It's well laid out and presented, with lots of interesting animals to see. It's a good size too - Easy to walk around, though there is also a little train that you can hop on if you prefer (which was quite a popular option). The restaurant serves quite basic food, but equally, it's all you need really to replenish - I noticed a lot of people brought their own picnic kits with them, which I'd definitely consider for next time! Really enjoyable day out. 😊

It’s a great wild life park. We visited on May Spring public Holiday- nice sunny day. It’s strongly recommended to book tickets in advance as the online tickets are £2 cheaper. The place has ample car parking place- shouldn’t be a concern. It’s home for variety of animal friends all across the world. There is a recreational train that circulates the park is a fun ride. Lot of food options available. Would recommend to carry a Mat, as it’s a good picnic destination as well.

A great day out for the family and more importantly dogs are permitted also. However there are some exhibitions that dogs aren't allowed so be aware and be prepared. Parking was easy as too was getting around viewing the enclosures. Although the zoo is laid out so you have uninterrupted views of the animals with the exception of the ones that are likely to eat you! Sign posts need someone work on ,you do need to study a map on your travels. Be prepared to walk, this is huge facility so make sure you shoe choice is sensible. The grounds have been well maintained and the there are sufficient facilities and places to enjoy your lunch or picnic. An extensive range of animals to see. A great day out.

Last minute decision to visit here on the last day of our holiday. We made the right decision! Beautifully laid out, level, beautiful gardens, accessible, well maintained, clean. Loads to see, animals all looked healthy and cared for. Nice staff. Very much worth the entry fee. Really enjoyed the 5 hours we spent there. Just saw the penguins being fed before we left, very informative. Keep up the good work.

Dog friendly and a great day out. Loads of amazing animals to see who have lots of space to move freely. The Rhinos and giraffes are an amazing sight to see. The layout of the grounds are beautiful which lovely walkways and flowers surrounding them. Be sure to have a go on the little train around the park and there is a big playground for all age ranges. There is a large cafe with hot and cold food and also loads of coffee booths with treats scattered around too. Always loads of parking and lots of toilets. The ground is flat throughout so easy for any wheelchairs or strollers.

Wow. Great place. Especially amazed by the beautiful plants and care taken with the surroundings. The main park has rhinos, giraffes etc. Shame they didn't have more. There's a section with wolves (where pet dogs can't go). They have a petting zoo, with goats. But, to be honest only a couple of goats for a lot of children. I felt a bit sorry for the goats. They have lots of benches to sit on and plenty of toilets. Hardly anyone was wearing a mask or social distancing, in crowded areas or toilets. You can easily get round everything in four hours at a leisurely pace. Tips: Get there for 9-10am, otherwise you'll end up in a HUGE queue. Luckily the queue is in the car, with ticket booths at the end of the drive. Once you've parked you don't need to show your tickets again. 100% bring your own lunch and drinks, as every kiosk and the restaurant had a queue of at least 40-50 people at all times. Definitely check out the walled garden with lemur walk through bit. Go on the train early, as it gets booked up. After lunch, there's usually no more spaces.

Was pleasantly surprised by the size of this place. Ample parking, didn’t feel too crowded even during summer holidays, regular toilet stops, great selection of animals (better than London Zoo in my humble opinion), large enclosures for animals, lots of shade and picnic areas to eat, fun train for kids, play area and obstacle course for kids. Overall an enjoyable place to spend a day for adults and children. Only downside is the toilets were not in form. One baby chasing had no lock and smelt really bad (in the restaurant). Restaurant food was tasty but portion size on the small side.

Ideal to visit with children or just adults! You really need to allow a minimum of 4 hours to visit the park and enjoy every area. The animals are very well treated and actually cared for. It is not a zoo for sure! The animals are so calm and chilled. They have a passion for the staff too. As soon as staff become in contact with them to feed them for example, they get so happy 😃 It is worth the money for admission. Also parking is included and there is lots of space.

This was our first visit, and it was so lovely. We will definitely return. I love that everything is more or less outside. We took a picnic (strongly advise) as you can go back to your car as much as you like so you don't have to carry it around with you. There are plenty of grassy areas for you to have a picnic and also benches. We visited Easter Saturday, and it was busy, but not uncomfortable. The children's park area was probably the busiest area we saw/briefly played in. We would have liked to have a ride on the little train but the wait time was just too long for us (30 minute wait with 3 young children probably not the best 😅) so maybe next time that should be first on our list! All in all the animals were great, got to touch/stroke a snake too. 🐍 And it was a wonderful day.

A day out with friends. Beautiful park, lovely gardens. Most importantly the animals are so well cared for. Large enclosures, plenty of cover for their own privacy. Same for the tropical and insect houses. Informative labels. Cater for people with mobility issues too. All in all a wonderful visit. Thank you.

Their enclosures are absolutely amazing and the plants and gardens surrounding are so beautiful!!! All staff were super friendly and helpful and we had the most amazing time 🥰🥰 Oh and don't forget the train journey, such a lovely end to a wonderful day!

Really great day out and loads of different animals to see. Best thing is you can take your dog. We go to see all the animals with her except for the reptile house but if your in pairs you can go in one at a time . Plenty of parking available and facilities.

First time visiting this place and it's definitely worth the money. You are so close to all the animals, get the see all the ins and out and even some early morning feeding. We spent about 3/4 hours overall with a lunch break. Definitely will be coming back again soon.

Honestly an amazing zoo/park. So much for kids to do also. Probably one of the best zoo’s in the UK. The train is well worth catching a ride on as it takes you round the entire park. The kids park is absolutely brilliant however as always with these places the food is terrible. Nothing changes here its horrid. We have been 6/7 times now and just take our own lunch with us. I have no issue spending money on food but it needs to be good food. Such a shame they dont cater for people who like something other than frozen beige food…. But its normal at these types of places. Would be 5* if you could get a nice lunch

Never been to a Wildlife Park like this one. Especially with allowing people to bring their own dogs. Different. The way it's laid out is so easy going & not herded in one direction. The gardens are gorgeous & well looked after. Bring a picnic!

Lovely day out and such a beautiful place to walk around and see the animals and the amazing views. There is a train which will take you round the park for a different experience or you can easily spend a few hours walking round the park and taking in the stunning scenery. Plenty of toilets located around the park which is excellent for anyone with children.

Great day out! Lots of animals, and all of them with a good amount of information (not too stuffy, but interesting). The penguin feeding, the Madagascar walk through, and the Birds of Prey demonstration are definitely worth putting on your schedule. The little train that takes you around the park is also a great thing for kids, and is wheelchair accessible. Will definitely be back in slightly cooler weather!

We really enjoyed our visit here and were surprised by how big it was. A great selection of animals, well laid out and good amenities. Plenty of parking to accommodate the queues of cars on entry but the park didn't feel crowded. Highly recommended, we'll definitely go back.

This is an amazing wildlife park and can’t recommend enough. Great mixture of animals from some of the big ones to some beautiful birds, monkeys, reptiles. Loads to see and do. Lovely adventure playground and train. The grounds and plants around the park are so well done and maintain through out the whole park. The biggest draw for us is the Park is so forward thinking to allow dogs. We looks 2 with our party an amazing experience, all the dogs were well behaved and I did see any stray poop once! The only thing I would have liked to see would be some form of recycling bins but other than that amazing day x

Fantastic place to visit for the day and set in a beautiful location. I've never been somewhere where you can get so close to the animals! This place feels so much more natural than a zoo and is clearly looked after. The price is well worth it and actually on the cheap side in my opinion, I wouldn't mind paying more for entry and I'm sure it would help out so much! The main restaurant was a fair wait at lunch but there was a huge selection of homemade food and the staff were brilliant. Special mention to the lads clearing the tables as they were working so hard but going out their way to help others at the same time 😊

The zoo was amazing. I had a 1 and 5 yr old and they both loved the place. The playground in the centre was great for them both and my 32 yr old wife. She raced off with our 5yr old to climb the tree house together and act like the biggest kid there. The animals and closures were great and clean. The 5 yr old loved the train that circles the park.

We took my small grandson to The Cotswold wildlife park on a weekday this month. We had a lovely day looking at all the animals. We had purchased tickets online line the day before as they work out cheaper. Having said that I think the overall price is really good for a whole day out. There really is so much to see that you can easily spent a very full day here from opening to closing time. Being November we opted to eat in the restaurant rather than picnic. Good food at a reasonable price. The staff were really lovely too. We will come again and would highly recommend anyone coming will not fail to have a great day out.

A great day out for the whole family. Very well laid out with plenty of facilities around the site. Beautiful landscape and a wide variety of natural enclosures containing a wide variety of fascinating animals. Saw the penguins being fed with a free talk about them which was great. Large play park for kids and a decent restaurant with a good selection of hot and cold foods. Well worth a visit.

Really fun day out at affordable prices. The location was good and it had a large green area to park at. There was occasional maps dotted around the park but would be better to include signage of which way is to different animals. The train isn’t free but costs cheap to go on in which you can see some of the animals they have. Will return in the future!

A fantastic day out, lots to see and the grounds and gardens are absolutely beautiful. The whole place is immaculately clean. Lots of picnic areas and benches to sit at to just sit back, look and enjoy. A wide variety of animals to see... A must is a visit to see the penguins at feeding time...most entertaining...and seeing the rhino's in front of the stately home was amazing...would definitely recommend. We spent around 4 hrs or so here and would definitely say is a full day out if you don't want to rush and sit and have a picnic

Absolutely fantastic wildlife park where you can get so much closer to the animals than normal and it’s not to busy. We took our dog and she wasn’t a problem we could get into most places. The food was reasonably priced and so was the admission. It was well worth the visit and we will definitely be going back.

This was our first time going to the Cotswold Wildlife Park. It blew our mind how big it was, as we always pictured it being quite small. They had plenty of animals on show, some that we haven't seen at other zoos that we have previously visited. It features a bat house and reptile house. Plenty of gardens to walk around. Plenty of facilities for food, drink and toilets. Looks like it is quite accessible for those requiring scooters or wheelchairs. Would definitely go again!

What a wonderful place. The grounds and gardens are beautifully laid out and superbly stocked with plants of all sorts. The the animals are well cared for and have plenty of space. We were delighted to see baby rhinos. There's interesting information about each one. You can walk round or take the little train The cafe and shop are well stocked and extremely clean and all the staff are hands on and extremely friendly and helpful. The cafe food was fresh and varied. There are picnic places all round and we were able to take the dog. Incidentally the ice-cream kiosks around the grounds sell doggie ice cream. However I'll be going again without him so we can spend longer. Understandably there are areas dogs can't go so we had to alternate who went in. To sum up its an hour and a half journey from our home to this beautiful destination but so worth the trip. It was our first visit but we'll be frequent visitors from now on. Can't wait to return.

Probably our favourite. Ok and wildlife park in the UK. It’s so relaxed and open for strolling around, never too far from the car or anywhere else in the park but with still plenty to see. We enjoy the train, the rhino, lions and giraffes. Great shop, catering and play park as well as petting zoo, plenty of open space and easy access. Brilliant

A fantastic day out for all the family (even including dogs). Open until 6PM on a Sunday. Easy to park and barely sny queue, a very wide variety of animals to see here including Lions, Giraffes, Rhinos, Penguins and much more! Good Restaurant on site with a selection of meal choices, as well as many picnic benches for those who wish to bring their own lunch! To see the whole site will take a good few hours, so to get the most of it I would reccomend arriving not too long after lunch! Would definitely come back here again

Worth arriving at the park when it opens at 10.00 . Book online in advance it's slightly cheaper and much quicker at the gate. Apart from the animals and birds the grounds and gardens are beautiful. The large children's playground is excellent. Great value day out for anyone.

We had an amazing time here. Book in advance to take advantage of the slightly cheaper ticket prices. Loads to see. Take a picnic with you because the restaurant gets really busy, plus you can go to your car as many times as you want. It's also the only Wildlife Park/ Zoo in the country that allows dogs in! We had a great day out and we don't have kids!!!

It's not often we can visit places like this with our dog but when I saw they were dog friendly we had to give it a go. There are a few areas dogs aren't allowed but you can see most of it. Our dog found seeing all the animals fascinating and especially loved the farm yard. Having all the open spaces was great to stop and have a picnic. With it being a warm day, the ice creams (including doggy ice cream) were really nice. We'll be sure to visit again if we are in the Cotswolds.

Lovely day out. The kids had a great time. The whole place is COVID friendly. The scenery is out of this world. Would definitely go back in summer so we could enjoy a nice picnic outdoors. The petting zoo was also amazing and they have a variety of animals for the kids to play with. I would advise you to bring your own food as there isnt a lot of variety there. However, the staff are friendly and nice.

This visit was just as amazing as my visit back in 2002/2003. This time we went a bit late, so most of the animals were inside, but this was even better. We got up close shots with the hippos, giraffes and penguins whilst they were eating or resting. Yes there are a lot of animals and creatures. The price is really good, £16 at the gate price, lots of parking. For some silly reason, the gift shop closes way before the park closes.

Wonderful park with lots of animals in place. The bird of Preys show is the most memorable out of all. It took place near the castle at 1pm and 3:30pm. Must save time to watch this show and you will definitely be amazed.

Very Beautiful and picturesque location for this lovely Wildlife Park. Lots of different animals, insects, reptiles and birds to see and a couple of enclosures where you can get up close to some also. Large picnic areas and cafe, plus snack kiosks situated around too. A small train also takes you across some of the park. The gardens are exotic and also feature lots of different flowers and plants. Not a big range of larger type animals but an admission price for under £20 for adults is a real bargain for what you do get to see.

Had a lovely day here on a Sunday with family. They have different types of animals and birds, and you can see them up close. There is a restaurant and other outlets selling coffee and ice cream within. They had these maps with where you are once you are a bit inside, with the 1st one right near the parking. There are toilets spread throughout the park. There's a children's play area next to the restaurant. There's a train running around the park as well that you could take a ride on. A good place for a day's outing with children.

What a great zoo! We came here on a Sunday and expected it to be rammed however due to the size of the park the people were spread out so we could see all of the animals in the exhibits well. We managed to see every animal in the park and even went to some of the talks about them. We arrived about 12 and while there was so much to do we were out at 4. Overall a great zoo and would definitely recommend!

Overall, the park is very nice. 1st time visiting and was a privilege to see 2 baby rhinos born one week apart Little disappointed regarding the use of single plastic in the cafe for salad, fruit I'm sure there would be another way to sell the products Little train to take you around £2 charge can be upto an hours wait. Dogs are allowed at the zoo but must very kept on leads Overall a very nice day

Lovely day out with the wider family. Straight from the parking lot, you are greeted by the camels. Few steps forward and you’ll cross the mini train track. I highly recommend the train ride, the kids will love it. We paid £2 for Adult and £1 for kids over 3. The little ones go for free. The train goes around the park and take roughly 8 to 10 minutes. There’s also a children’s park with some benches close to the train station. After walking most of the park you’ll definitely want to let’s the kids run around and you take some time to sit and relax.

This, in my opinion, is the best wildlife park that I have visited! Up close and personal with the animals (the rhino's look like they are free range!) and surrounded by beautiful grounds with stunning flowers nestling the enclosures. Professionally designed but with a nod to the past in its innocent feel... delightful!

Took my daughter's family for the first time. We all really enjoyed it. The first thing we did was take a train ride to get our bearings and then used a copy of the site map which we had printed off. It was a very hot day so we sheltered under a tree for a break and left 3.30ish but would have stayed longer if it had been cooler . Need to take your own picnic as the only food on sale is not very healthy - hot dogs, sausage rolls and ice creams. And the sausage rolls had run out by 12noon. The kids loved the climbing frames and slides too as well as spotting the zebras and rhino in large open spaces. And the Madagascar area had lovely plants, colourful birds and feeding time for the penguins. A really great day out.

  • 5/5 David T. 5 months ago on Google
Such a lovely place. Took our two and a half year old granddaughter there. She loved, we loved it. Lions were her favourite, penguins being fed at 3pm, rhinos, zebras, camels, giraffes and tons more. Every where was spotless. Lovely gardens, friendly staff. And to top it all I got a decent senior discount. We used to take our children here, and it was great then. It has of course improved, without losing its lovely charm. Thank you, we will be back next year.

What a fantastic place! The grounds are stunning, incredibly well maintained and planted. The range of animals really surprised me, they seem very well looked after and on the whole have good sized living areas. Absolutely loved the Lemur enclosure. If you go around 3.20pm (closes at 3.30) then it’s just before feeding time and they will all be really close to you. (Hence the pictures). Great for any age. Don’t miss out if you’re in the area.

My first time visiting since I was a small child. I thoroughly enjoyed it. A wide variety of animals, with lots of room for them to play. An absolutely stunning aray of flowers and trees all over the park, making a really beautiful walk around. The only thing I might change would be to add in direction signs on the paths to show you where to go. We missed a few of the animals because we went a different direction, and didn't end up going back that way. With so many trees, it's easy to lose your sense of direction.

I went to cotswolds wildlife park a week ago and had the best time. Not only is there tons of animals but also beautiful gardens for you to walk around and look at the pretty flowers. We really enjoyed this zoo and saw plenty of animals whilst we were there. Our favourite section being the capybara and tapirs. What I like most about this zoo is you can bring your dogs! Which I’ve never heard of before so next time I will definitely be bringing my dog to the zoo

Had a perfect day out at Cotswolds Wildlife Park & Gardens. All the staff were incredibly friendly, all saying hello and smiling. The grounds are in such beautiful condition you can tell this is so well taken care of and maintained. Which really does make a difference. All the animals we saw looked in great condition. We got a mocha from a little take away hut by the lions. Which was really nice quality £3 something and felt worth it as it was tasty. We were very lucky that early on a Thursday with reduced capacity the zoo felt very peaceful which for us is great. We love that you can take dogs even though we didn’t bring ours this time. There was a lot to see! Definitely recommend seeing the feeding of the lemurs! Alongside Whipsnade this is now our favourite zoo in the UK.

An absolutely fantastic day out! So so much to see. There are so many types of animals and creatures, from reptiles to farm yard animals, to rhino's and every kind of bird! Lots of rare animals to see too and feeding time is a must see. We watched the penguins being fed and it was great. Never been so close to a penguin before. There are lots of walk throughs too, the interaction you get with the animals is a great experience. All the staff were so friendly and you can tell the park is looked after very well. The wildlife park is huge and on beautiful grounds - 3-4hrs at least to explore all of it. The park is excellent value for money too for what's included. Would recommend to all ages! We will be visiting again for sure!

Came here on an educational trip and BY far the best out of the zoos we visited that term. Enclosures are well thought out and animal welfare is definitely at the forefront of this zoo. Also DOG FRIENDLY. Which is a huge bonus!!

A great size zoo with a nice variety of animals. The train ride was really nice (2£/adult). I was impressed how many plants and green area were inside. There are plenty play area for kids or food courts/ice cream or hot drink kiosks. There was plenty parking available. I was actually impressed having the fact that we paid 16£/adult. Done the booking online. It only took me few minutes. Simple and fast. No tickets printed needed only have the booking number on hand at the main gate. The staff was really nice and helpful and would help with any questions you may have had. I saw a visitor with keeper for a day experience and the actual keeper sounded so passionate of his job and caring for animals in general. Would recommend a visit.

Amazing place I will keep coming back to over and over again. The only downside for me is the restaurant options - very low quality food served, both cold and hot, I would recommend taking a picnic with you, and just get an ice cream there, excellent choice of Kelly's ice cream! Slightly cheaper tickets if you book at least a day before, ample parking, good facilities, excellent staff, animals looks very happy and well cared for.

Great place to visit with plenty of parking space and lots of disabled parking. The whole Park is on the level, with a lovely railway track around the grounds. Dogs are allowed on a lead. There is plenty to see, with a large walled garden which is full of various Birds and Animals etc. There is a very large Restaurant with inside and outside seating, also plenty of seating around the Park for people bringing there own picnics. A large children's play area, plus a children's type zoo area complete with a large goat petting paddock. A walk through Lemur area is also popular to get up close to them. Tickets can be purchased on line or at the entrance.

Loved this place you feel up close and personal with the animals. Lots to see and lots of places to sit and take it all in. Very well managed and very friendly staff. Bit of a slow moving queue in the restaurant but think that was more to do with the customers than the staff! We had a lovely day out and would definitely recommend if you are in the area.

A beautiful zoo. We spent 3-4 hours there and enjoyed it. It’s still sad to see some animals in very small cages though. I hope things will get better.

Wonderful walk through lush gardens, animals of all types in great enclosures within the the gardens. A must see if you loves walks and animals. Easy to find and ample free parking.

Very pleasantly surprised at how good this place was. Spacious and very well kept and maintained. Excellent range of animals and well designed areas. Great that it stays open on a relatively mild December day. Would definitely look to return in the summer.

Nice place to take children. You can get close to the animals for a photograph. It's a good walk around the park if you want a day to get some fresh air.

  • 5/5 Philip M. 2 years ago on Google
Not very busy, perhaps because of the weather. Easy to book online. Some restrictions in place because of bird flu, but still lots of animals, reptiles and birds to see. Well worth a visit. Café, shop and toilet facilities all operating as usual. The wolves are still my favourites!

  • 5/5 R D. 2 years ago on Google
Well worth the visit for any dog lovers out there as there’s plenty to see with them! I would recommend bringing a picnic as the cafe on site is great but lacking anything hearty. Walking around the place would take 1.5-2 hours comfortably.

One of the best zoo’s I’ve visited. Great scenery. The exhibitions are spacious. The explanations are bright and clear. Buying tickets in advance gives you a small discount.

Wonderful day out with our nearly 2 year old. Very open and you can get right up to some of the animals. It feels like just walking around a garden with animals in and you forget the barriers are there with some. Plenty of open areas too for little ones to run around and burn off some energy as well as a wonderful park area for them to play in. Would definitely recommend buying ahead online for a discounted rate but worth every penny either way. Helpful staff show you where to park and very friendly in the restaurant too as well as doing smaller portions for kids which is great. Food is a little pricey but no more than you would expect to pay at any place like this. Would highly recommend for a day out.

Amazing day out! Dog loved it, and was a great experience being that close to the animals! Quite an open space so never felt busy even though car park was full. Plenty of eating spots and not too expensive either.

We loved our day out at the wildlife park. The animals all looked happy with their enclosures and there were all different types. The gardens were beautifully kept and had some fantastic plants. We'd highly recommend you visiting the park.

  • 5/5 Kerry S. 2 years ago on Google
The best wildlife park we have ever been to. I think it helped it was basically empty, however the animals were all so close, you could touch them, which of course we didn't. The pictures show you how amazing it is. There is also a fabulous kids play area which our 5 and 8 year old loved. Would recommend to anyone. It was our best day in the Cotswolds

  • 5/5 Hannah 2 years ago on Google
Absolutely fantastic! There is a great array of animals and you can get surprisingly close to some big animals while still feeling very safe. There was lots of places to have a picnic and it felt very spacious. Great day out with the kids. Only suggestion is possibly an an additional restaurant, we joined the que for food at 2pm and it was still very long.

What a lovely place this is, takes all day to get round. Animals have lovely large enclosures and look very happy. Lovely picnic areas, ample parking, hot meals available and huge gift shop. Feeding times are good opportunities to see the animals and take pictures. Lots of indoor exhibits such as the reptile enclosure if in need of a warm up or break from walking. Good value for money and fun for the whole family.

I go to the zoo every year for my birthday and this zoo is by far one of the best I've ever been to for several reasons. • Decent size, no leg-achingly long walks. • Nice scenery. • Helpful staff. • Fab collection of animals. • Family friendly. • Wheelchair accessible. Only issue I had was I struggled to navigate myself around, however this is probably because I'm not great with maps. But definitely recommend signage around the park.

Lovely park, well set out and beautifully presented. Animals well cared for. Lots to see, enjoyable day. If you've read this far, don't forget to like my review 😀

  • 5/5 E V. 2 years ago on Google
Lovely wildlife park with beautiful open spaces, limited barriers so you get a proper look at the animals instead of peering through wired fences and so it has a "safari" feel to it. We didn't go on the train but it seemed to bypass all of the bigger animals which seemed fab. The farm area is smallish but great - we got to get up close and pet some animals too! Children's play area is great; nice mixture for all ages (a toddler zipline!!! Amazing!) Plenty of places to stop, eat and good toilet facilities. We spent about 5 hours here and could've spent more going back around to see it all again! Definitely recommend this place! Would be lovely to see more animals added in the future - elephants and bears? 🤞🙂

This place is brilliant! You can tell they care for the animals and the gardens. The animals appeared healthy and were very lively. I had an excellent day out here and highly recommend the place. The gardens were beautiful, green houses were filled with tropical plants- plenty of Aracea and there is a green house with incredible amounts of cacti and succulents. The restaurant served food in generous portions and was tasty, which is unusual. Facilities were clean and plentiful.

Fantastic day day out! Had such a great time here today, so much to see and do. The train was so fun and the whole park is so well maintained with beautiful plants and flowers! Lots of different animals, insects, birds and the petting zoo was good too. The play park is great for kids with lots to climb and a slide which my son loved! A brilliant day had by all!

This is another place I hadn't visited in the 16 years I have lived close by and am wondering why I didn't go before now. Well set out with roomy enclosures for the animals and well maintained gardens, with an extensive variety of plants, it really is a great place to visit, particularly on a hot summer's day. We took the opportunity to visit before the school holidays kicked off, so, apart from the odd school outing, there weren't large crowds to contend with. Having passed this place on summer weekends before, queues coming from the direction of Burford can stretch back a long, long way so being an early bird on such days is recommended.

Had a lovely time here taking it all in. I started at the Giant tortoises and walked clockwise taking in the Camels, White Rhino, Lions, Giraffe and many more before getting to the Farm animals where we then went to the restaurant in the main house to have lunch. I continued after lunch from the Farm animals clockwise to the park train and took a ride which lasts about 15 minutes. Then carried on clockwise visiting every animal and display finishing up seeing the Reptiles and Red Panda. It took us 5.5 hours including half hour for lunch but at a beautiful relaxed pace in the gorgeous Sunshine. Well worth the online price of £16:50 an Adult.

It is a great place to be. With kids you can easily spend a whole day as they have park where kids can play for a whole day. I would recommend it as a family day out, nice walk around the wildlife park, didn’t experience the train but looked fun. It would be ideal if you take picnic stuff with you, plenty of space to sit as grass has been taken care of and you can easily sit to have a great day out.

Lovely day out with the family over the Easter break, would highly recommend. Great selection of animals to see. The park is also amazing for all ages and abilities and the prices were pretty reasonable. Staff were all helpful and friendly. Lots of parking available too. Great way to get lost in a lovely well kept location

GREAT day out. Especially if you like animals. EASY to get around and so much to see. Good value fairly priced 10 out of 10

Even though the weather was a bit gloomy with spots of rain, I still had a great time at this wildlife park. We went during the weekday so it wasn't that busy. You are allowed to bring dogs as long as they are on the lead and you can take them to 90% of the park. The park is very big so make sure you have comfy footwear or you can catch a train to move around the park. There is a wide variety of animals, so you will be spoilt for choice. Last thing, you save about £1.50 if you do advance booking

  • 5/5 Brad K. 7 months ago on Google
I hadn't been here for over 25 years! Brought back memories of those times past with my then oh so young kids. This place is better 😁 than ever before. Brought my sister from abroad for a visit this time and we both thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Great attractions of well looked after animals and gardens.

Buy tickets in advance online to save a bit of money. Free car parking. Short walk into the grounds, which are kept immaculately with beautiful planting, picnic areas, kiosks selling drinks and snacks, clean toilets, a train ride, adventure playground, and hundreds of birds and animals to see. Great for all ages. Dogs allowed on leads in most areas of the park, although some areas are restricted. There is a restaurant, but didn’t use this facility. Prices are reasonable for water, sandwiches, crisps at the kiosks and are of good quality. Burford Caravan & Motorhome Club site is close by. Allow a minumum of 2 to 3 hours to go around the park. Families could easily spend all day here.

Visited during the school holidays and was expecting the place to be completely packed with families everywhere when I saw the huge amounts of people going in...but this was not the case once inside. The park has lots of open spaces and ample benches for those in need of a rest, which is always welcome when running around after kids! The train is a great way of seeing the site and a number of the larger animals, but be prepared to queue! Food and drinks were reasonably priced and of a good standard (the sausage rolls were especially tasty!) Overall, we spent the majority of the day there but didn't get round to seeing everything, probably as a result of the large play park which kept the kids occupied for ages.

What a lovely zoo this is. It's small enough to get from exhibit to exhibit quickly but large enough to never feel crowded. We always get here for opening and make a whole day of it. Park becomes special after 4pm when most visitors have already left and it becomes even more peaceful. Don't forget to book online as it saves you a few quid too.

👍👍 Great place to come for a walk or picnic. You don't need to buy a ticket if you go in via a public footpath entrance but you can't go near the Palace. A ticket isn't too bad value if you intend to use the year long access pass a few times.
