This restaurant is amazing 💖 food is soooo yummy and the owners are very kind! Our favorite is the prawn fried rice!! Prawn quality is soo good!! Very big and always fresh 🤗 Today we booked for 7 and we have a special table for us. The meat soup was delicious! And the papaya salad AMAZING!! Spring rolls also very good 💖🤗 all the people enjoyed the crispy pork 🥹 I would like to eat this food every day. Never is enough so we also take away fried rice for night time 🤭 Thanks 💖😊

Decided that try Smiling Thai after pulling into shopping centre and found them open. Had never tried them before so did a quick google to find fabulous reviews. Walked in and restaurant was full se asked if we could dine in and Keven was very polite and friendly, he immediately showed us to a spare table. We ordered S Spring Rolls and Coconut Prawns for entree, then fried rice and Chicken Panang and Sweet & Sour Chicken and everything was fresh, hot and very very tasty. Tried Thai food for the first time here and I was blown away 🤤🤤! Ordered the Pad Thai Combination and it was delicious. The meal was huge...couldn't even finish half of it! The staff was quick in getting my meal ready, which I really appreciated. Loved the experience and I'll definitely be back for more (that's if I'm ever that hungry again 😄🫃)

Ordered take-away for my birthday with a group of family. Arrived to pick it up at said time (ready in 40mins) and they said 'we'll make the order now', waited another 40mins or longer for the take-away to be ready but got home to find my dish missing from the bag. We live 30mins away & was not driving back. Luckily was able to try other peoples dishes & their food was delicious, some if the best Thai I've ever had, very flavourful. Shame majority of the dishes were only half full & waiting that long again isn't an option with kids.

It was my second time to visit Toowoomba. I visited Smiling Thai restaurant for the first time. After reading reviews and looking at some photos, I decided to dine in here. It was Friday night and we were a bit too late to the restaurant. The place was packed inside and customers waited for take away. Other customers also stepped in for picking up. I ordered the recommended “Kra Prao Moo Krob” (fried crispy pork with basil) and pointed to the big photo. The “Farang” shop attendant really said it in Thai. I was really getting only kra prao moo krob without rice. LOL, it was my poor English communication. The portion of stream rice was too big, so I ate it without rice. My wife and daughter ordered “Pad See Ew”. The portion size was quite big. My wife could not finished it. While we were waiting for our food, I heard non-stop wok clinking sound from Kitchen. The chef was really working hard in there. Despite of long waiting to be served, the taste is worth it! The taste was authentic Thai! I didn’t really expect this good Thai food in small town far away from Thailand.

Awesome Thai place! Even better than some renown Thai food in Brisbane! Prices are fairly affordable and owner was very friendly. They even have a story about their humble beginnings! Do check them out.

Great food at a great price. However had to wait about 35mins for just the entrè. And no apologies for making us wait.

This is by far the best Thai food I have ever eaten, the Roast Duck and Spicy Crispy Pork Belly with fried rice was absolutely amazing and cooked perfectly, the spice was sensational. Thank you to Kevin and wife and staff for an excellent experience, I will definitely be back 💯

Small busy eatery in Toowoomba. Ordered Pad Thai and Basil roasted pork belly with rice and requested for spicy. WOW. It brought me back to Thailand straightaway. Love the heat and portion was reasonable for the price.

This small and unassuming restaurant has one of the best tasting Thai food I have had in a while. I also love how they designed their menu options. It gives you so much flexibilty and choices.

First time having a meal here. Ordered large Coconut rice and Thai Basil Pork (Crispy). Was amazed by the taste and quality of the food, portion is large and has a home cook meal feeling. Great place to have a beautifully done up thai food. Highly recommended.

Great authentic Thai food. They can make the meals Thai spicy or to western levels. Not bad pricing with a big menu. You won't wait long so it's a good venue for a working lunch.

Hands down the best Thai food in Toowoomba....ITS NOT EVEN CLOSE! The green curry is incredible, coconut rice was perfect and the crispy basil pork belly was delicious. We and have returned many times

First time come to this warm Thai restaurant, it’s really delicious and authentic like Thailand, so do the price(compared with Thai restaurants here), super recommended!
