Order 3 x porterhouse steak specials. Steak was under cooked, and cold x 3. Chips were hot and vegetables were par cooked. Salad was fresh but lacking any dressing. Not an enjoyable experience at all.

Went today for lunch. Great menu and prices and the plates were full. The team were very helpful. We especially think it is good how they police the check in. Cannot recommend the Tavern high enough. Great safe place to enjoy a meal.

If I could leave a negative star I would went there with friends and had dinner friend ordered steak rare 1st one was like an old boot sent back 2nd attempt steak was blue and still cold in the middle the so called chef was rude saying a blue steak was f##king rare when he asked for money back the manger slapped the money into his hand and was not happy that he didn't want a third attempt. my Mexican parmy was burnt and over cooked and my wife's fish was dry and my sons kids steak looked like it had been on hotplate for a while will never go there or recommend to anyone to go there

Food was delicious and the lemon,lime and bitters perfect.

Had a fantastic rib steak - big enough for 2 people! The salad bar was pretty good. The smell of the oil was unpleasant.

We’re interstate travellers catching up with friends in Oakey. Three of us had lunch & drinks on the outside terrace. The owner / chef was extremely obliging regarding my lunch request & presented the most amazing, perfectly cooked steak sandwich, crumbed steak & battered flathead fillets. The chips were crispy and light and he even provided some extra steak for our puppy dog! Top marks for the best pub lunch & staff service we have had for a very long time 👍🏻👏🏻

Very sad looking for a nice pub meal re steak chips and salad not very nice sorry thats not how you cook steak must have been fozen and thawed out in microwave had funny smell to it

Went to have lunch at the Bernborough Tavern Oakey twice recently. Both times staff were so friendly and accommodating to our group. It’s not a big space but pleasant. Plenty of menu choices and the specials for lunch were very good, hot, good portion sizes and the salad bar was very good, again plenty of choice. Toilets were clean and easily accessible. Our group will certainly be visiting again for lunch in the future.

$22 for a slow, small, dry, burnt parmy. Place was a zoo with kids screaming and running around everywhere.
