Stunning classic theater with fantastic staff and management. We're traveling a show through here and they are very accommodating and provide excellent care, facilities and catering.

Update: Another fantastic night of laughs at this Grand old Theatre. The exposed old brickwork walls and Skylights are amazing Finally after nearly a year of waiting due to a multitude of delay we got to see Kitty Flanagan. She didn't disappoint. The theatre itself was fantastic. Friendly helpful staff. Seats were comfortable for the length of the show. The theatre gives a great feeling and atmosphere of grandeur of a bygone era.

I have seen many productions around the world in some amazing theatres and the Empire Theatre is up there as one of the best. It’s beautiful architecture and acoustics make it such a wonderful experience. Newley refurbished seats are fantastic and the volunteer staff are always delightful. Thank you Empire Thetare.

Great place for events. Friendly staff. Although they don't have much drinks or snacks to offer. May I also suggest not to choose BB seating. They are too close to the stage and quite narrow space specially when you needed to go get a drink or something. A, would be much preferable for me. But to each their own I suppose.

The theatre was gorgeous with perfect acoustics. Every staff member we met was extremely helpful and friendly. It made for a wonderful night out!

Went to see Mowtown. The performance was great. Sad that we paid to go to the Empire Theatre as we were told how lovely is it only to be shoved down the back in the smaller theatre as they were not full. When we pay high prices for tickets that say the show is at the Empire theatre, we expect to go there. Don’t push us into another room where the seats were old and hard and very uncomfortable. I watched many older people struggle to get up and move and complain about sore backs sitting in those chairs and so many people voiced how terrible the sound was in that smaller theatre. If you advertise a show for the Empire Theatre, that’s where we expect to go, Very disappointed. Makes me think twice before booking further shows.

Amazing venue with great bar and plenty of space for quiet drink before show. The theatre itself was tastefully decorated and seating and acoustics were on the button. Well done Toowoomba!@

I did the tour with a volunteer named Margaret. She was friendly, understanding and has a passion for the Empire Theatre. It was a fascinating and comprehensive tour with clear explanations and numerous stories of this magnificent building's history. It is a stunning place to see. Highly recommend the tour and the morning tea which includes famous biscuits cooked by the Friends of the Empire group.

Nice new seats in an iconic country town venue

We took our kids for their first theatre experience to see the Addams Family. Although it was a bit later in the evening they were so enthralled throughout the show they stayed awake for the whole thing and all said they enjoyed it very much and so did we.

The most beautiful Theatre I've ever seen. Built in the Classical Art Deco design like no other in the Southern Hemisphere. The last remaining Arch Stage Theatre of it's kind in Australia that's been Amazingly restored. Credit where credit is due to all the workers bringing The Empire Theatre back to it's forma glory.👍🏻

Easy access for wheelchairs, a beautiful building that was erected in 1911. Great acoustics and a great place for concerts. Best to get there early to find parking or use taxis.

Absolutely beautiful building. The architecture inside is Amazing. It's hard to sit and keep your eye on the show and admire the architecture at the same time..😊😂

Absolutely love this theatre. It is such a beautiful mix of old and new, and the diversity of shows that get out on here for a regional area are astounding and top quality, and I will never get tired of visiting.

Truely a pleasurable place to go to. The sound from the band was perfection. The band being AMY SHARK. If you ever get the chance to see a band here someone you like you won't be disappointed.

Went there for my Daughters Uni graduation. I was so impressed with the auditorium and the building itself. Beautiful old heritage style and comfy seats. Would like to try the on premises restaurant and bar. I have signed up to the newsletter and hope to go back for a concert or a live play. Plenty of parking in the vicinity as well.

Had a fantastic night here watching and listening to Amy Shark the sound was perfect, I was shocked to that they had bars and they were open selling alcohol. If you choose to go see a concert or a play the Empire Theatre is a very lovely place to go.

What a beautiful theatre.. I never expected a smaller town to have a better theatre than the bigger cities. It's big enough to get the good shows, yet small enough that every seat in the house is good for viewing the shows. I'm really looking forward to seeing more shows here.

Perfect in all ways that a theatre can be old quaint and yet very comfortable venue for theatre and other uses for business of toowoomba. Nice place to relax and watch and take in the experience.

Visited the Armitage Centre as part of a touring crew, and I must say, Aaron, Ben, and the whole crew were an absolute pleasure to work with. State of the art venue, with professional gear, good seating, access for loading, it has it all. Thoroughly impressed, and hoping we go back soon!

We Will Rock You performers and band were amazing. Thanks to all the staff and background workers for all their hard work too. Empire Theatre is always a great place to see some fantastic shows.

First time in 2 years we have been to a live music event and it was fantastic! Great theatre, quite intimate but not too close, and with great acoustics.
