Absolutely love this place. The staff are friendly, the food is delicious, generous portions piping hot. I had the full breakfast with the pancakes . It is nit more pricey than other breakfast places but lovely treat .

A fantastic place with kind, friendly staff. We've been a few times and the food is always exceptional! Vegetarian options are plenty and certainly not an after thought.

Staff are very friendly, atmosphere is energetic and the food is excellent. Had an espresso and this ridiculously good cheesecake. Only problem is that 4 hours later I'm in a food coma. Worth it!

First time of visiting and would definitely recommend and will be returning soon...there are just too many fantastic sounding dishes on the menu! The five of us (2 adults & 3 children) visited for the twins birthday at breakfast/brunch time. Whilst my wife and I kept it real with our selections of smoked salmon & scrambled eggs on sourdough toast and bacon & egg on leek & cabbage potato cakes - both were amazing - our children, however, went with the sweet birthday breakfast...the eldest and his younger brother shared a pancake platter and my daughter enjoyed the cookies and cream freak shake!!! Everything went down really well and I can confirm that the children were not wrong in their praise for their dishes, as I tried it all. 😋

Recommended by a friend as a brunch spot and it was good! Generous portions and many choices from which to choose. My suggestion if opting for any choice with eggs choose the scrambled egg option as they are more substantial. I went with poached eggs, and I got one VERY small poached egg whilst the portion of scrambled eggs that my friends got were much bigger

What a lovely afternoon tea today! The food came presented in a bird cage. It was delicious and fresh! There were lots of customers coming in and having a mixture of dishes. The staff were friendly and welcoming!!

The first time we ever dined in was such a wonderful treat—we had only ever had afternoon tea delivered, so hadn't had food from the main menu. We ordered pancakes for the kids and we had the pulled pork hash and eggs benedict—the pancakes were nearly the size of the plate, even for the kids, and the eggs benedict was next level. The coffee was proper, the service was spot on, and it was just a brilliant brunch. We love to stop by for their massive milkshakes, their second-to-none pumpkin spice latte, coffees, and cakes—it's perfect for a break whilst shopping the high street or a cheeky treat! The second time we went in for brunch, the coffee and service were still amazing, but we left a bit deflated as the food was inconsistent. We ordered pancakes for the kids and the eggs benedict again, but the pancakes were at least half the size that they were the first time on all the dishes. You can see the difference for yourself in the photos—same sized plates, very different sized pancakes. We were so excited to have another amazing brunch, but the stark difference in portion size made it feel like they were out of pancake batter and couldn't be bothered to make more—so it not only felt disappointing, but it felt like we weren't getting the same value for money. The treats and cakes are always exciting and delicious, so it didn't stop us taking some away to enjoy at home—but it did have us wondering if it would be a while before we would take a chance on dining in again anytime soon. We're hoping hoping hoping it was a fluke because we want to love everything about The Pudding Pantry, so I'll update this review once we get around to giving it another go x x

Don't be fooled by the title.. there's more than puddings on offer. I added vanilla ice cream to my desert and it wasn't needed. Nice flavours

It's been too long since our last al fresco meal in Sherwood, so it was great to be at The Pudding Pantry for brunch today. Glorious sunshine certainly provided the right backdrop, but the venue more than played its part. Very busy and a short queue outside, but we were quickly seated. Not had brunch here before. I was tempted by The Full Pantry, but needed to leave room for pudding so we both had The Pantry's Egg Benedict. Eggs beautifully poached, but unless you're an avid Hollandaise addict then you might want to suggest 'easy on the Hollandaise' when ordering. I went off-piste when it came to pudding and had a slice of Bakewell Tary with a scoop of raspberry sorbet. Flavoursome and moist tart nicely accented by the sorbet. Highly recommended and glad so see normal service resumed now that Covid restrictions start to lift.

We ordered a takeaway to pick up and they were so busy but the food is amazing so it makes sense as to why. The pancakes are incredible, so fluffy. You can tell everything used is of the finest quality and that the staff put effort into every dish they serve. It came to around £20 - worth it I’m my opinion! Deffo the best breakfast in Sherwood.

Wonderful food- the pancakes are incredible. We also visit to join our baby class upstairs. The staff are always friendly and nothing is too much. A great space to meet with friends and babies!

The pudding pantry is a must if you are in Nottingham, the service was amazing as was the food. We had the vegan option and it was all so very tasty. The cakes looked to die for if we had any space left we would of tired some but we will leave this for the next visit.

I ordered pantry eggs Benedict via deliveroo from pudding pantry which was yummy. Couple things to mention was the food was quite cold by the time it got to me and one of the pancakes was slightly on the rubbery side on one edge. I’m guessing this is the result of having it delivered. My partner had the homemade beans and cheddar on sourdough and it was warmer but the sourdough was soggy. Flavours were great and can’t wait to go and eat in the shop.

Went for the first time today, for a friend’s birthday. The staff couldn’t do enough for you. Great variety of food and it was all absolutely delicious. Doggy bags if you want to save some for later! Really clean. We all had a great time and enjoyed it. We will definitely be back, thank you!

Excellent service and great good, but best of all so accommodating for us mums with our babies and pushchairs. It's nice to always be welcomed and have the space to enjoy food with my baby. One of my fave places to go.

Had to self isolate and couldn’t eat out on my birthday so got my friend to deliver some pancakes from the pudding pantry to me. The servers here are always excellent and so friendly. The pancakes were really fluffy and delicious. Only gave 4 stars instead of 5 because the chocolate sauce had a thick layer of oil on top and the chocolate sauce was like thick sludge :( I tried mixing it and heating it gently at home but it didn’t really make it any better, kinda ruined the pancake experience :/

We turned up just before 4 absolutely starving, the kitchen staff kindly let us order off the brunch menu even though we were too late for it! The food was absolutely stunning and enormously portioned!! We both had the pulled pork hash with extra garlic mushrooms, we would highly recommend! The coffee was stunning (and we are definitely coffee snobs), we had cakes evening though we were full!! The red velvet brownie and baked cookie dough went down a treat!! The cafe has a friendly and social vibe, all the staff were really lovely and happy! In particular, our main waitress Aloka was so so lovely and really went above and beyond to make our experience great! 1000 stars - highly recommend :)

Delicious deserts in generous portions. Don't eat here as much since they took the avacado on toast off the menu, which was the only decent vegetarian brunch option, but still pop in as a treat if I fancy cake.

My very hungry two year old got in the car chanting 'I want pancakes'. So I called Pudding Pantry and requested them to keep her plate ready, to try and avoid a meltdown while waiting for pancakes. They did! Fabulous service, an absolute haven for kids and therefore a blessing for us parents too. Thank you Pudding Pantry! You made my daughter's birthday brunch an all smiles affair!

Lovely spot for lunch! We thought it was a dessert place but found a number of lunch options and were not disappointed. Enjoyed the Full Pantry and Eggs Benedict (with pancakes - a nice twist). Staff were also welcoming. Would recommend.

Always a lovely experience eating at either this venue or the one in town. Friendly staff, great all day breakfasts, cake looks good too. Can be difficult to hear each other when place is full due to the acoustics but at least it's lively and full of chatter and smiles. Can recommend.

I come here pretty much every other weekend. The food is amazing and always lovely staff. The best thing to do us get some savory pancakes for brunch and then a brownies milkshake for desert they taste amazing 😊 I also order a birthday cake from here. Called in on Sunday and it was all ready for Tueasday which was super tasty and looked so professional. Love this place ♥️
