The
first
time
we
ever
dined
in
was
such
a
wonderful
treat—we
had
only
ever
had
afternoon
tea
delivered,
so
hadn't
had
food
from
the
main
menu.
We
ordered
pancakes
for
the
kids
and
we
had
the
pulled
pork
hash
and
eggs
benedict—the
pancakes
were
nearly
the
size
of
the
plate,
even
for
the
kids,
and
the
eggs
benedict
was
next
level.
The
coffee
was
proper,
the
service
was
spot
on,
and
it
was
just
a
brilliant
brunch.
We
love
to
stop
by
for
their
massive
milkshakes,
their
second-to-none
pumpkin
spice
latte,
coffees,
and
cakes—it's
perfect
for
a
break
whilst
shopping
the
high
street
or
a
cheeky
treat!
The
second
time
we
went
in
for
brunch,
the
coffee
and
service
were
still
amazing,
but
we
left
a
bit
deflated
as
the
food
was
inconsistent.
We
ordered
pancakes
for
the
kids
and
the
eggs
benedict
again,
but
the
pancakes
were
at
least
half
the
size
that
they
were
the
first
time
on
all
the
dishes.
You
can
see
the
difference
for
yourself
in
the
photos—same
sized
plates,
very
different
sized
pancakes.
We
were
so
excited
to
have
another
amazing
brunch,
but
the
stark
difference
in
portion
size
made
it
feel
like
they
were
out
of
pancake
batter
and
couldn't
be
bothered
to
make
more—so
it
not
only
felt
disappointing,
but
it
felt
like
we
weren't
getting
the
same
value
for
money.
The
treats
and
cakes
are
always
exciting
and
delicious,
so
it
didn't
stop
us
taking
some
away
to
enjoy
at
home—but
it
did
have
us
wondering
if
it
would
be
a
while
before
we
would
take
a
chance
on
dining
in
again
anytime
soon.
We're
hoping
hoping
hoping
it
was
a
fluke
because
we
want
to
love
everything
about
The
Pudding
Pantry,
so
I'll
update
this
review
once
we
get
around
to
giving
it
another
go
