Fun, unique coffee roastery and cafe. Super clean and calming environment. Expert advice on the espresso and coffee (even in English – Merci!). Enjoyed the homemade empanadas.

Excellent coffee and beautiful interior! For once, a trendy place that feels 100 % sincere: the passion for good coffee is genuine, as is the friendliness. Worth a visit even from further away, in that case check out the Schaerbeek town hall and the art nouveau district nearby.

If it wasn't for the distance from my house this would have been my favourite coffeeshop in Brussels. They brew their own coffee and they have a large variety! So good. Plus the interior is nice and cozy, and their empanadas is so good. You can order a vegetarian option, it it's truely tasty. One portion has 3 pieces and it's enough for one person. The staff are friendly and the music takes you to America Latina. It's also a calm place where you can work or study in peace.

TL;DR - great coffee, chocolate, and empanadas. No baby changing station 🚼 Really happy with our visit. We were staying in an Airbnb nearby, and we were intrigued when we passed the café last night. Additionally, our Airbnb host both recommended the café in his guidebook and had coffee and chocolates from here available for guests. We came to the café between 10AM-noon. The selection of coffees from around the world was impressive. We’d tried the Colombian coffee at the Airbnb, so I chose the Mexican coffee. My partner asked about the chocolate drinks, and decided on the “bombe de chocolate”, which was rich and delicious, plus perfect for a cute Instagrammable moment. We were feeling a bit peckish and asked if the empanadas were available at that time, and the server told us that they were available all day. We got an order of beef (there was also a veg option). They were typical fried Colombian empanadas and were served with a slightly spicy salsa that was so flavorful, we almost wanted to ask if they sold this as well! We had our baby with us, and there was sufficient space inside to have our stroller by our table and chairs. However, there wasn’t a changing station in the bathroom.

So happy my coffee machine broke and I got to discover this café. Thank you for the great coffee, super friendly service and the best empanadas I ever had! And a special thanks to you guys for the very productive moments I spend writing and studying here! See you soon :)
