Good music, tasty soup

Since the new owner 3 years ago, going to a cafe in Damberd has been a real pleasure. Every Thursday the manager plays records from a large collection of records for which Damberd is known, among other things. There are often performances on other days! There are heated benches on the terrace so that you can relax outside on a chilly evening. The atmosphere, the smooth and friendly service and the lovingly made cocktails ensure an unforgettable evening here. On top of that, the homemade spaghetti is delicious and for a quick snack you can order bitterballen and other small items here day and night! Highly recommended!

Nice bar, cafe or pub as they would say here. Very nice atmosphere. Good drink selection. Great for testing Belgian beer. Nice and attentive service. It was nice here. Tip top.

Little nice cozy pls, whit jazz music all the time, super attentive waiters that end up talking Spanish too, nice prices, good variety of beer, really a good place to share a beer for the night in the centrum of the city

Busy city centre bar. I went to see a band, unfortunately the set up isn't very good, as the band is in the far corner with little space to stand near and listen to the music, most of the seats are far away and you don't really catch the music. More of a party night out kind of place, I felt.

Change of ownership did it no good. Weak staffing, inattentive and over worked. No working heat lamps or patio lights. A dull spot on a vibrant Korenmkt scene.

Iconic place in ghent

No longer interesting, especially when the unfriendly lady owner is serving. Other waiters are ok though.

Not the coziest of places in Ghent, to be sure. It's okay though, good for a drink if you're with good company. :)

Good beer and self marinated olives

Very nice jazz pub, about 20 belge beers, good Music for Jazz Fans!

Rate four out of nostalgia to my youth. Don't serve the Adler beer anymore: cost is one star. Now better music.

A warm and traditional place to drink coffee, with a great medieval view! Just visit it!
