This place and the food was horrible . The sauce was so bad and the flavour of the food was horrible . The rice and salad didn’t taste good at all . The rice tasted rotten and salad tasted bad like it outside for a long time . The old owners were so much better than this . The new owners don’t do the food properly. Shut this place down . And ask health and food safety people to come check the food . This place doesn’t derserve a rating .

They gave me RAW meat. So disgusting. Got my refund 🤮🤮🤮🤮. There should be more quality checks before serving meat to customers.

Used to love this place and the portions were always amazing; went there today and the meat portion was embarrassing; I ordered chicken and beef. I think they didn’t have much chicken cut so I got a couple scraps left in the tray.

Not fresh at this location! I have tried Villa Madina at many different locations and its usually very good. At this location unfortunately they do not know how to make the simplest things. The rice was mushy ( instead of fluffy) as were the potatoes. The chicken and kofta were both very dry and not at all juicy. Really disappointed.

The quality of food varies too much from day to day. One day, it was good but the next day, the meat was stale, overcooked and hard. The salad is also very sour. It's like eating a lemon.

Deserve 0 not even 1 !!! Seling old food. Old cold falafel .. Who knows how old it is. ,!!! Cant even break and eat amy GUMs hurt!!! So hard unfortunately i paid 13$ for this food. Never come back

I got a shawarma yesterday and it was awful. First they tried to give me visibly rotten tomatoes that they insisted were just ripe but they were mushy and rotten. Took the wrap home and it smelled so bad, couldn't get past one bite. This place used to be really good but it's gone way downhill. I presume everything was rotten not just the tomatoes. Attached is a picture of it in the garbage as that's all I could do with it...trash.

Got a chicken shawarma "Super" sandwich: I think it is overpriced and to me it lacked any good chicken shawarma taste. I found that what is supposed to be a "super" sandwich is the regular size one could get at other shawarma places, at better quality for similar price. I wouldn't recommend.

i bought 2 so called shawarma , worst ever shawarma i ever had! the chicken was not roasted but instead tasted like boiled !! vegetables were not fresh ! the bread was fully toasted onto wrapping so much that you remove the food .. over priced ! staff did not listen to the order properly acting and acting as if its something funny with order .. this shawarma did not have tomato sauce and all the other sauces they put tasted like sand .. charged me $15.80 with very little extra meat .. will not recommend to anyone .the food does not worth a $2 . if i could give 0 stars i would give .

This use to be my favourite place to eat, I was even a regular until I came across the owner. Normally associates get discounts and the owner of that location wouldn’t honer it because he is simply cheap and petty. As someone who goes there every other weekend and having to deal with that type of behaviour is just sad. The worst part is that they are halal meaning it’s a Muslim owned business and as brothers and sisters being this greedy with others is disgusting. I will never eat there again.

Very disappointing. The first time the shawarma was completely stuck to the bread making it impossible to eat. I went back to get a new one and the second time it was completely falling apart and cold. Not worth $10.

This is one of the best plates we had. The taste is the best compared to villa madina at different locations. I personally tried villa madina at various locations but I liked the one at Vaughan mills. I highly recommend this. They also give pasta on the sides.

This is without question the worst food I’ve ever had in my entire life. The pickles were off and literally made of salt, the rice was dry and had a weird odour and the chicken was greasy and tasted absolutely terrible. The sauce was inedible. I couldn’t even finish my meal and ended up throwing it out.

Had a minor issue with food,got adressed quickly and efficiently manager gets 5 ⭐'s for customer service and problem solving. The staff are polite ,respectful and speedy. My #1 eating in STC!

I will never go there because of their rude behavior! I asked for a napkin before placing the order, but the lady roughly refused and said, without an order, no napkins. I was so surprised and repeated gently, I am going to place the order, but can you please give me a napkin for my kid? Still, she refused to do that! Finally, I placed the order and got the napkins! What shameful customer service!

Food was extremely fresh and appetizing. So many delicious and nutritious options. Staff were incredibly kind and accommodating. I don’t feel they belong in a food court but in their own independent location. Very healthy alternative in a fast food setting. Thank you for helping to keep us healthy.

Literally got two turnips in my sharwarma poutine which is so embarrassing. After I ate the turnips they tasted like they were days old so I was lowkey glad I only got two because it made me feel sick afterwards. The food quality seems to be going down every time I try food here. Only come back here again and again cause it’s one of the few halal food places in STC but after today I don’t think I’ll be coming back.

We tasted their Chicken, Falafel, Beef Rokboxes at the STC location during the national shawarma day. My fav was the Chicken flavor which was tender and flavourful. Falafel was crispy, well-seasoned! If you are planning to enjoy them at the STC area make sure to reserve a spot first and also add their special sauces. The servers are prompt. Avg meal cost $10.

First time here and needed something simple, so i got a beef shawarma. The meat was cooked well, vegetables were fresh, and the sauces were delicious. The staff was very nice as well. Good food, not much else to say. ;)

I purchased the two meat Sharwarma combo. The food was ok amd large portions but some items were not fresh.

Such kind, patient and generous staff - especially the manager who goes out of his way for his customers… and the food - so amazing and very fresh!! Better than other locations as the other reviews state. It’s a hit every single time. My go-to spot when I’m at the mall. You won’t be disappointed. Highly recommend!!

Since the new ownership has taken over this location at STC, I have seen the quality of the food gone down tremendously. They water down their hummus and garlic. Also, I have had bad stomach issues twice after eating their food now. I used to eat there often when it was run by previous ownership with no such issues. Now I would recommend everyone to stay away from this store.

We got their Chicken, Falafel, Beef Rokboxes. Chicken was tender, juicy, Beef was crisped up nicely, flavourful and, Falafel was crispy, well-seasoned! All the Protein were served on a bed of Rice, topped with Pickles, Pickled Radish, and their signature Garlic Sauce, gosh it was amazing!

We took the Chicken Skewers Platter which was enough for two adults to share. Everything tasted great, especially the Chickpeas blend. I was disappointed that the platter doesn't come with naan on the side, but the food tasted pretty good. Chicken was really juicy and flavorful but a little too much garlic for my liking. Customer service was awesome! The cashier treated us really well.

Honestly as a long time customer I was very disappointed. Their meat portion has significantly, significantly decreased, there is more rice then meat. I am not a big eater and the fact that I had barely any meat and I was still hungry after my meal, I was super disappointed, the price is now $17 for just rice and barely any meat. Not worth it anymore. If the price is going up at least make sure the food given to customers is worth the money the customer is spending. Not worth it!

I was hungry and looking for Halal food. I ordered Sharma rice and one drink paid $21. Food was horrible, salty, no taste at all. I didn’t feel that I was eating Sharma rice. Also serving box was very small, very less quantity, compare to other food store. I informed store manager regarding food , he was very rude, was laughing, arguing and showing no manner. Need to check food quality frequently .
