Don’t say I didn’t warn you. You came for 1 pint, and you’ll stay for 3 (or 4!?). You’re gonna LOVE the vibe here. Count your Scottish blessings if Donna is working. She’s owns this fabulously authentic Scottish pub. The draft beers are cold and a welcome change from every other pub in the neighborhood; the scotch eggs and haggis were delicious; and the ambiance is good. Check out the impressive list (and wall!) of scotch to try. WOW. So glad I came by, will be a fall/winter regular!

We came here with some Scottish friends for their birthday. Since the Scots vouched for this place, that should tell you that the food was quite authentic. Chill vibes, good food, and nice drinks, too. Would go back, for sure!

More like 4.7 for this place. It would be a 5 but running out of Guinness is a big misstep. Meg our waitress was amazing and made us feel like regulars. Appetizers were delicious with just the right amount. Food over all was great, tasty and well presented. I wasn't expecting this from a Scotch House. Deep fried Mars bar 6.0!! Dam that was good. Now for the Scotch. Wow, simply a place to explore. Tried the flight for $190 and it didn't disappoint. The tour of Scotland flight was also pretty good. There are about 1000 or more varieties, be prepared to be overwhelmed lol.

Amazing selection of scotch - you’ll find drams from your favourite distilleries that you’ve never even heard of! The staff are friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. (If you’re here for the food, you won’t be disappointed either.)

While unassuming from the outside, this Scottish pub is pulled right out of Edinburgh. Serving a large variety of traditional pub fair, the focus is on simple ingredients to create authentic flavors. To further highlight the regional nature of the pub, there is an outstanding selection of scotch (as well as some other lesser whiskies) to tempt and delight both well-versed fans and newbies to the water of life.

Great pub food, the sausage rolls are some of the best I've ever had. It's hard to find Innis and Gunn on tap and this place has it. The Whiskey list is 15 pages long and the staff are super accommodating to help find drams to your taste. Chill atmosphere, we went twice while in Toronto and both were excellent!

I haven't tried the food here but this place is heaven for whiskey aficionados (which I unfortunately am not). I got the Whiskey Tour of Scotland, and maybe because the pub was busy, the service was a tad slow and inattentive (waitress didn't really pay attention to our table and we had to try multiple times to get her attention to order more drinks). While the waitress quickly glossed over what is in the flights, I came with friends who are very knowledgeable about whiskeys and had a good time trying and learning about whiskeys.

Went for the whiskey tasting event. Host was knowledgeable and friendly. I hit the dish waitress was serving by accident and my fish and chips went flying. They replaced it and cleaned it no problem. Had a fun time with my friends. My friends devoured the mars bar and sticky toffee pudding so I'm sure they are great!

Just got back from Scotland and Ireland three weeks ago, and had a lovely time with my fiancée. I am still riding the high of being in a place where you feel deeply connected to. So upon coming home, I was happy to discover this place and we planned to come here. My other half didn't make the first visit as I just dropped in while on a walk, but my oh my, what a fantastic spot. The food I saw being ate by others looked and smelled amazing, and my two Guinness pints tasted exactly as they do over in the old country. You can tell they really care about their establishment and are committed to keeping things nice and authentic. Can't wait to come back here and try the haggis! Thanks for having me. Update: Have been back several times since, tremendous whiskies and the best Guinness in Toronto. And I highly recommend the Haggis, Neeps and Tatties!

My son had his wedding there, and it was absolutely awesome. The food was incredible, the service was fantastic. The bar itself was just beautiful it has a very homey vibe. All of the staff are just incredible 😍. Thank you to everyone there for such a wonderful experience and for being so kind to my son and new daughter inlaw😘

Service was too fast, like they were trying to turn your table around. I didn't like that feeling at all. We were 45 minutes cradle to grave on a couple of drinks, apps and main courses. I'd recommend pacing the food orders. Nevertheless, I have to give this local favourite of mine a 5 star review because there only flaw is manageable and I'll be back. This is a charming traditional pub, with dim light, a long bar and great decor. The food is great. The fish'n chips was amazing, a big thick piece of fish perfectly battered. The haggis with mashed turnip and gravy makes for a great, tasty Sunday dinner.

I've been wanting to try Caledonian for quite awhile now but haven't had the chance till recently.. Came here to try some scotches as they have a selection of over 600 incredible! Me and wife decided to have the food as well.. The owner which is wonderful sat us down before they even were supposed to open. We orders the fish and chips and the Steak Pie.. What a wonderful experience.. Food was incredibly tasting, fresh with tender chunks of steak and fresh cut thin delicious fries.. Then tried one of the scotches on the menu.. Good size in the glencarin glass. You could even have a flight of scotches and even call ahead and choose your own flight selection. I would definitely recommend anyine who loves pub food, great Scottish beer selections including the belhaven dark.. And a huge scotch and whiskey menu to try from.. Absolutely wonderful experience.. Can't wait to go back and brkng others.. Love there backyard patio!

Favourite pub in the city for me. Coz of how much whisky they have and the Guinness on draft. My two favourite drinks in the world. The food is amazing too… scotch eggs, haggis and my favorite sticky toffee pudding. Highly recommend

Great Scottish pub in Toronto. Delicious Scottish food with amazing selection of beer and whiskeys. We had the Scottish platter with scotch eggs and haggis....was sooooo good. I can't wait to try it again! The owner Donna is also a very lovely lady! Had a great time and can't wait to go back when I'm back in Toronto with my fiancé!

This place is an incredible gem. Not only to they have an extensive selection of high quality scotch, their food is excellent and has a wonderful home-made feel to it. The inside is cozy and the back patio is very cute. The staff and service are the best I've encountered in Toronto. I recommend getting a flight to try a handful of scotches, and definitely try the Paper Plane cocktail.

Warm welcome from the owner. Great patio out back. Tasty food with a Scottish influence. Known for their vast offering of Scotch, some of our group went with one of the Whisky flights delivered by a very knowledgeable staff member. Will most definitely return. Highly recommend.

Best Scottish bar/ restaurant ever! Great whiskey selection. The food is yummmmy 👏🏻

Fantastic atmosphere, the service was great. The Scotch selection was second to none! They have a 58 page scotch "bible", and the flights are not only affordable, but give a great tour of Scotland.

We did a whiskey tasting and the manager gave us a great education in what was unique about each whiskey we tried. She definitely knew her stuff. I had the Haggis for dinner and it was great. Would definitely recommend this place for a Scottish experience.

Scotches over here, scotches over there, can't get enough of the scotches. I'll NEVER BE ABLE TO DRINK THEM ALL but I keep coming back ! The staff are amazing and SO knowledgeable, every question I asked was answered.

best mac and cheese I’ve ever tasted in my life!! i wasn’t sure what drink to order and the server was incredibly helpful in helping me decide. I love this place. I’ve been here probably 5 times now and every time the food is great, staff are super friendly and knowledgeable, and the ambiance is so easy going. The vegan haggis is SO good for vegan, veggie and meat eaters alike. But every dish I’ve tried there is very delicious. Good date spot, catch up with friends, or family dinner. 10/10

Had a nice night out with some friends on Saturday. The bit of food we had was great, the atmosphere was nice and quiet (the way a pub should be), and we all got to try a few different scotch whiskies that we otherwise would not have. The waitresses were both delightful as well. I'd definitely return.

Great place. We had a chance to discover some great whiskies. Carly the bartender was making great suggestions. She was also very nice to give us some suggestions on things to do in Toronto. Thank you Carly for the great time!

Excellent restaurant with great food and whisky selection. Went for dinner and to sample different types of whisky. Perfect place to go if you're new to whisky, like I am, with really friendly and helpful staff that can guide you through the experience. Really cool vibe too.

This might be the place with most comprehensive scotch whisky menu in Toronto. Great service too. Highly recommended if you are a whiskey lover.

Great whiskey bar with a massive selection. Went here for a whiskey loving friends birthday - we all got a couple of flights to try out different whiskies. The staff is really friendly and super knowledgeable - they walk you through the different choices and make great suggestions. If you’re getting into whiskey (or simply a whiskey aficionado) this is great little spot. The foods okay - average pub food, not the greatest especially for the price.

I've always enjoyed having a meal at The Caledonian, so I chose to go there as the first indoor dining spot after COVID restrictions were lifted. There were 3 of us and we arrived at 7pm. Our vaccine status was checked and our contact info taken which was a good sign. We were seated and although there were people there there were empty tables between us which I thought was another good sign. We ordered drinks and appetizers and then our mains and all food was top notch as usual. My review is about what happened during our meal. More and more people came in and by the time we were leaving every single table and some seats at the bar were full. All packed closely together. We could barely get out squeezing between people and chairs. I was both appalled and scared. I've done everything to keep as safe as possible during this pandemic and to be subjected to business as usual attitude at a restaurant I trusted just turned me off. I'm sure they want to make as much money as possible after being severely restricted for months, but to have the place packed to the rafters when the pandemic is still going is mind boggling. Little regard for the health and safety of their patrons as far as I'm concerned. Yes, the servers and employees were all wearing masks, but no one at the tables were and we were all elbow to elbow in there by 7:45pm. Unfortunately, I don't know if I can ever go back to The Caledonian after this experience. Pity.

A truly authentic Scottish restaurant. Haggis is better than I imagined and sticky pudding finishes off your meal. Great service too. Try the Whisky tasting. Such fun.

A quaint place in Toronto for a nice date night. Awesome tip is to come out in a not too busy day like Tuesday, lol... We found a nice cozy corner to enjoy some drinks and food.

Great wee pub with a decent selection of Scottish beer on tap, OK the tennants isn't exactly the best of Scottish brews, but the belhaven and Innis & Gunn are pretty decent. They also had the brewdog elvis juice on tap. Where this place shines though is with their selection of whiskies, well impressed & the lassie behind the bar (Maggie I think her name was) knows her stuff. Definitely visiting again to try a few more drams here. Was also pleasantly surprised to run into someone from Aberdeen Who works there 😁

👍 Good food as always! Convenient. Kids friendly. One star less because in the men’s washrooms there is no arrangement for baby diapers change. I managed it somehow but for a single dad with baby it is not convenient. I hope management would put up something to resolve it. Thank you.
