We hosted a birthday party here with a group of 12 in one of their private rooms. They had everything set up perfectly and service was impeccable. We had a couple of servers attend to wine and food through the night. We asked the chef to design the menu and everyone left satisfied! Hard to do with a picky crowd but the staff pulled it off. We will be back!!

Blew away my expectations for drinks and a bite before seeing a show down the street. The ambiance and decor was spectacular upon entering and the food and service matched it. Cocktail happy hour on a weeknight was perfect and the oysters were a great accompaniment. The menu is well laid out with smaller bites and appetizers to larger mains and desserts; making it easy to cater to something light or a full meal. The service was also very good, many people contributed to ensuring our glasses were full and we were completely taken care of. I would go out of my way to visit again and hope you get a chance to as well. 🥂 🦪 🍷

This was a fantastic place for a date night. The ambience is beautiful and the service is extremely warm and welcoming. We came at 5pm so were seated promptly, with a smile from the hostess (Aug 3rd 2022) and Krin our server was helpful and attentive. Give her a raise! Our food came out extremely quickly. For example, the veal took less than 8 minutes. Granted, that may be because we ate at 5pm so keep that in mind. The prices and portions were extremely reasonable and all tasted fresh. I highly recommend.

Hey you know it was great when u don't have a lot of pics to post! Quality and taste was amazing on everything and service as well, we were there for the company but a window sit probably doesn't allow you take in the interior as much as you would like to also I think lunch time and day light would give the place a totally different vibe, price to portion however is another story but hey I think it would be expected given the status. Super easy to walk out on 200$ ++ for two As for specific food items a fantastic job on the steak but a miss on the veal if you ask me, the seafood Tartars are all to die for Will be back for sure

I took my parents here for a dinner as I was visiting Toronto and was in the area for work. I have been here twice in the past. We were extremely satisfied with our service. The cauliflower steak as well as a flat iron were very tasty. However, we were disappointed with the paella. It was the special and was approximately $120, but the portion was just way too small for that price point, and not a lot of actual seafood in a dish. Desert was great. I would come back, but might stay away from the specials.

An absolutely beautiful restaurant with attentive and amazing service. I can not express how impressed I was with this place as I chose Lena Restaurante to celebrate my friend’s birthday and they did everything to make sure we had an incredibly memorable night. I’d love to come back here once they open up their basement for dine in but the main room was still beautiful and the food just simply melted in my mouth with every bite. Kevin was an astute and kind server and he was one of the reasons we had a great night. We took all his recommendations food wise and nothing disappointed us, it truly was flavour town. I can not recommend Lena Restaurante enough and this is somewhere you simply must experience if you are in Toronto.

Big disappointment in the food we got, especially the price. Service was rough and seemed like we were forgotten for our main entree waiting after our apps The only good thing we had was the mushrooms, but nothing out of the ordinary you couldn't get elsewhere Would not recommend: - tuna tartare: really fishy like it was frozen. The yogurt sauce is odd. Way too much fried crisp components for a tiny portion of bad fish - veal was overcooked and lacked any flavor outside of pepper It's the first time experiencing 4 apps coming first within 5 mins before the drink did. Is the food already prepared in advanced and reheated??? Ambiance is nice, perhaps go for a drink or two, but also loud. Wouldn't go for the food

Really great spot for an upscale girls night out. The bottle of rose and dollar oysters deal was exactly what we needed haha. The decor is beautiful and it feels like fine dining but we didn't exactly order fine foods to say for sure. Pictured are the oysters, brisket burger, yuca fries, and roasted corn soup, all of which we enjoyed. What really makes this place a 5 though is the service. Our waiters checked in consistently but somehow never interrupted us. My wine glass was never empty for long before one of them politely asked if I'd like more. They were super friendly, actually nice to talk to, and were always ready with answers to our questions and recommendations. We stayed close to closing and ordered churros for last call. It came with a dark chocolate sauce which wasn't sweet enough for my friend. She casually mentioned this when he asked how it was and without us requesting anything different, he came back 10 minutes later with a dulce de leche sauce that we all loved. Truly above and beyond service. Spend an evening here if you want everything to be taken care of.

Great ambiance and wonderful drinks, but the service was confused with all the three tables on our side of the basement getting several mix ups with orders. The plating of the food was also not good at all, kinda messy and all over the place. But tastes were great and portions were good too! Prices are moderate not too high for Toronto downtown. Overall good experience!

We tested this restaurant with the Summerlicious menu. The food was very good with many options. The waiter was very attentive and friendly. The ambiance of the restaurant is romantic/cosy.

Overall the experience was good. The food was flavourful and reasonably innovative. The interior decor is stunning! The negatives? - We weren’t asked how we wanted our eggs and they were delivered extremely over-easy. Notably, both tables alongside us abandoned their eggs because it was overly soft. Eggs, like steak, should always be cooked to guests’ preferences. - I asked for butter, and without being notified, I was charged $1.50. While an objectively small sum, the principle of charging for condiments when you order a dish with bread is extremely disappointing from a principle perspective. I really don’t think this is the experience you want to let guests depart with because now I have principled reluctance to returning here again.

Very nice ambiance and super delicious food and very friendly wait staff. For starters, we had oysters which was nice and tuna tartare and that was the most disappointing dish of the evening and tuna tartare I ever had. Perhaps 5 pieces of very small cut tuna in a bowl full of chips and other stuff. But the rest of dishes were amazing. For main we had their rib eye steak for two and it didn’t disappoint being their most expensive dish on the menu . Personally, I don’t like prices of fat in my meat which was the case but I know many like their meat like that. I prefer lean game meat 😍. For deserts, we had burnt cheesecake and cappuccino and both very delicious.

Yet another exquisite dining experience in the heart of Toronto! This spot is bustling, conveniently located near Eaton Center and various offices. The food impresses with its quality and taste, offering a diverse range for both vegetarians and non-vegetarians. Don't miss out on the fantastic mocktails! Personally, I highly recommend the Atlantic salmon with grilled vegetables.

Loved our first visit to this restaurant. Beautiful atmosphere, great for date nights. We only got to try the apps as we had another spot to head to after but the dishes we tried were delicious and we love the flavour profile. The staff were also friendly and great service. We will definitely be back to try their mains and also for their happy hour!

Very classy upscale bar with boutique cocktails that were invigorating to the tastebuds and interesting to the eye. Comfortable for sitting and city watching if maybe a little loud for conversation. Would recommend to anybody needing a quick stop and a nice liquid libation.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Lenã restaurant 😍 beautiful decor, delicious food, and a friendly staff. The moment I stepped inside, I was captivated by the tasteful and inviting ambiance. The interior was adorned with exquisite details, creating a truly enchanting atmosphere. Now, let's talk about the food. Every dish I tried was a culinary delight. From the appetizers to the main course and desserts, each plate was meticulously prepared and bursting with flavors. The menu offered a wide range of options to suit various preferences, and the quality of ingredients was exceptional. What truly enhanced my experience was the warm and attentive staff. From the moment I arrived until I left, they provided exceptional service. Their friendly demeanor and knowledge about the menu made me feel welcomed and well taken care of. Overall, this restaurant offers a remarkable combination of beautiful decor, delicious food, and friendly staff. It's a place where you can indulge in a memorable dining experience. I highly recommend it to anyone seeking an exquisite culinary adventure in a stunning setting.

The Bad: The Maître d’hôtel aka non smiling hosts told us that there’s no more dining table seats. There’s only bar seats, we didn’t argue or challenge the fact that we saw at least 2 available tables, it sat empty for the whole duration of lunch hour that we spent eating our lunch by the bar. Hence we were judge because mainly of what we look like and how we are both plainly dressed for our Corporate job unlike the rest of business clients that was sitting at the dining table. Paranoid not really, just stating the obvious. The Good: The food are always good there and the young Gentleman at the bar was incredibly amazing and Lady who help us pay was nice. Though the food was good, the waiter/bartender was really nice and accommodating the 3 Star was for the whole experience which is unfortunate

Great cocktails, good food and wonderful atmosphere. I dropped by on a Friday night and decided to have a drink and snack. Fancy grilled cheese with ham was delicious and the Old Fashioned double had a nice kick! Great place for single travelers or a big group of friends.

Stopped in quickly before a show at caa ed mirvish theatre. A random drop in, was a nice 10 min walk away so it worked. Great looking spot, amazing atmosphere. No reservation so it was nice they could fit us in, we sat at the bar. Ordered 3 items, empanadas, beef tartare, and burrata salad. All were fantastic. Bartender was great as well, very personable, great cocktails. Was shocked how much our drinks were, ($25 for a negroni, although I did sub mescel) by far the priciest cocktail I’ve ever had, next time will be a bit more cautious with what we order. But other than that was a great time, definitely one of those “once in a while” places. 4 cocktails, 3 appetizers, came out just over $200.

Very elegant looking restaurant even from the outside. Big windows, lots of natural light. A little loud once you're inside especially for a lunch service. Servers are very friendly and quick. Menu is flexible which is nice (you can order winterlicious a la carte). First time trying South American inspired food. The empanadas were very flavorful but I prefer the fried corn shell version. This shell was on the soft side. The mushroom app was very good. Love the colors and presentation. The flavors in the piri piri chicken was delicious and had a bit if a kick. The drumstick was very moist but the breast piece was a bit dry. Overall a good experience and a positive introduction to South American food. Thank you.

Took some clients out for lunch here and overall, we were disappointed. The space is beautiful with each room offering its own personality and tasteful designs. Some of the starters were tasty but three of us were not satisfied with our mains. The main disappointment was the ham sandwich, it didn’t seem like much effort was put into it and the sauce and olives it was served with seemed misplaced. The prices were fair. I’d give it a redemption shot for dinner.

Hello, I used to pass by Lena and never had a chance to go. finally last week I had a chance to dine in. We were there for good quality of time.. However, the Service was not good. We ordered a bunch of food and they brought it all same time. most of the food got cold. I think they need to train their waitress. price was not expensive. From outside this place looked fancy but, God washroom was horrible. very similar to McDonald's washrooms. Anyhow, I food was okay, the service was not good, and the washroom was a mess, Ambiance was cool. Would I go again? I do not think so

Came here for winterlicious taking advantage of the prefix menu. All plates were good in general and good sizes. Place had a good decoration and the environment was excellent. Service was quick and attentive. Overall, it was a good experience but the quality of food is not worth the regular pricing.

This place was better than what I imagined it would be. The cuisine felt to be a mix of latin american food and italian, which suits perfect for me. We tried the winterlicious menu, which was really good, but I believe the a la carte would've been even better. Will definitely come back to try it. Skip the salt-roasted celeriac and take something else 😊

Overall good dining experience. Nice atmosphere and delicious food. Best of the night was the seafood caldoso and the burnt cheesecake. The tuna tartare was ok, maybe too many chips and taro sticks in my opinion compared to the amount of tuna. We also got the carne apache tostada, good but not great. All in general we had a great night. Great service too.

A go-to spot for elevated Latin American food. I have been to this place multiple times and it never failed to impress. Dinners, lunches, and corporate events. I even considered having a wedding here! Let's dive into one occasion: Brunch! FOOD: We came here for my birthday brunch and it was nice. I had two empanadas with poached eggs on top. They were delicious, light, filling and reminiscent of the egg benny. It was a good balance of flavors, enhanced by their not-so-spicy spicy sauce. It's been almost a month, and I can still remember the flavors. DRINKS: My go to is a Caesar for brunch with rum. And of course, I had it here as well. While it was not the best Caesar I have tried, it was pretty solid. SERICE: Anyone who's been to an O&B restaurant know the quality of their service. It was impeccable with servers being extremely helpful and attentive. ATMOSPHERE: The place was absolutely incredible. It is large and has a great design. It is easy to speak with people too as there is just enough spacing between the tables. I certainly enjoyed this place a bunch!

Came here for a work dinner and it was great. The staff took our coats and bags immediately and sat us down. The shared plates were amazing ( burrata , focaccia and tartare were delicious ) . Drinks were good too! I was okay with my entree , I would have tried something else if I knew it would just be a red blob - but the flavours were delicious. Dessert was a nice touch too!

Came here for an anniversary dinner, and quite literally on the first day of re-opening. Staff were extremely friendly and courteous and food was amazingly delicious. Had some complimentary bubbles and even met the chef who made our food. Would 💯 recommend for fine food, a great atmosphere and a curated interior!

This place is really mediocre despite the fact I wanted to like it. So much as to go back three times even though every time I go it's just awful. The food is probably the absolute worst. It could be I'm not a fan of the cuisine but even their basic pasta dish was terrible. And for the price I would think at least passable is not asking for much. The drinks are the only thing I enjoyed, by the bar and in good company. But the food and service for the sit down is terrible. Makes the fact that the interior and location of the place such a complete waste.

My friend and I both had a wonderful experience here. all of the staff were friendly ,professional ,and displayed good customer service skills. The veal was very delicious, good portion and was able to share for 2 people. The empanadas were wonderful not too spicy very filling. The chorizo did not disappoint as well as the blood sausage. the Leña Paleta was very refreshing. good for summer days and had a nice umbrella for decoration. The churros were very soft and chewy , dipped with the warm chocolate it was very mouth watering and tasted amazing. We left feeling happy. I would recommend this place.

Been here once before and will keep coming back. I highly encourage to go with a group of people so you can get sharable plates (tapas style). This trip, we went for brunch and NOTHING disappointed. We started with the empanadas (as they mentioned the chefs mom makes them fresh every morning - how could we not order after hearing that), and added in the potato’s bravas and branzino tartar for our meal. We had a few orders of freshly brewed coffee along with Caesar’s and sangria (which were SO tasty) and finished up with the most incredible churros in a homemade dark chocolate sauce. 100% worth going here.

Food is really tasty, expensive, portions are reasonable for the main course as for appetizers although it was delicious but really small portion. Server was helpful, she and another gentleman kept on asking us if we need help with the menu, it seems was the general question most guests asked as the menu full of the Spanish names of the food. Food came out in a timely manner, but I think because we went on a weekend evening. Overall it was a lovely experience we enjoyed it. We would go there again when budget allows.

I went to Lena without making a reservation during happy hour on a Saturday, and while it was busy, the staff were incredibly gratuitous and quick at preparing a table for myself and my friend. My boyfriend and I have been eating at this restaurant for every special occasion. They are the definition of UTTER PERFECTION. From the service to the food, it literally seems like there is absolutely no error they can do. The prices are also very fair, the food is impeccable, and they're not like your usual fine dining restaurant where the decor and ambiance is beautiful but the food is subpar... this restaurant is the whole entire package!

I wasn’t asked for vacine certificate on arrival but had to remind the hostess about it and only did my track and trace as I left but wasn’t told to do so, really bad service, nice cocktails but my Calamari was very bland and steak wasn’t cooked m/r, desert really good and the expresso was the same as a cup with dark water, overpriced, Great decor and location but lacks vision and leadership. 1 extra star for the nice chat with the Peruvian waiter that speaks fluent Portuguese.

Ordered the branzino and red sangria. The branzino was grilled to perfection. Didn't care too much for the tomato/red sauce but it did balance the meal with the greens. Sangria was not too sweet, only gripe is the straw melted before I could scoop the fruits. But all and all, great meal.

I’ve been to Lena a few times but my first review! Ambiance: This restaurant is part of the Hudson’s Bay and people overlook this place and don’t realize it’s a restaurant. Definitely a hidden gem. The decor is so cute and retro. The washrooms are so cute with wall papers. Very modern look restaurant. Perfect for date night or drink night. Service: Service was always amazing each time I was there. Made some great recommendations. Food: We order cocktails form their drink menu. It was so pretty and taste good too! Amazing food each and every time! My favs and must have are the shishito peppers, it’s like roulette you’ll never know when you get a spicy one. It’s topped with cheese and salt and pepper but a hint of lime. The empanadas are to die for. Especially with the sauce. We ordered the veal chop Milanese so good. It came with a duck egg on top. With a side of collard green, tomato sauce and yuca fries. They have the best yucca fries. Yucca reminds me of taro or cassava. It’s a root vegetable. We finished off with churros. Light and crispy with chocolate and dulce de leche dipping sauces. All in all an amazing meal and experience!

Was here for summerlicious, the food was underwhelming, mostly because of the false advertising on their IG (dishes did not live up to the photos). Nonetheless, the drinks were great and the bartender and service was fantastic! The ambiance is really nice with dim lights, however it can get quite noisy in there. Would recommend for a quick dine in and out.

Stopped in for some drinks in the late afternoon. Bartender was excellent and friendly, as well as skilled. The cocktails were very balanced and hit just right. The space is elegant yet approachable and the menu looks great, although I didn't try any of the food. Everyone around seemed to be ordering wine, and seemed pleased with the offerings but I would try at least one of the cocktails which are all inspired by South American spirits and flavours. A solid experience.

It's a nice restaurant, but the food doesn't have much flavor. I ordered the beef tartare and the spicy potatoes. The tartar tasted nothing and came with 4 very thin crackers. The potatoes were orange with paprika, but had no flavor and weren't spicy. The red wine was fine. The menu titles are written in Spanish so it's not very clear.

I can't wait to come back! The entrees we got were great but make sure you get a bunch of the shareable items, they're so worth it. And the service was amazing, after filling up on small plates, we decided to cancel one entree and the server/Kitchen were super accommodating. The drinks were delicious as well. And for those looking for photos, they have some really cool spots for that as well.

Arrived at this restaurant for dinner and was immediately impressed by the pleasant ambiance and attentive staff. However, the culinary experience left much to be desired. Regrettably, every item we ordered carried a pronounced sour taste, including the unexpected sourness of the French fries. Surprisingly, the chicken, while superior to a typical Costco rotisserie chicken, had an unappealing hard and dry texture. The accompanying sauce exacerbated the situation with its overly salty and sour notes. While the main entrees boasted generous portions, the bar bite servings were disappointingly small. In reflection, I might consider returning for the bar experience if in the vicinity, but the overall value for the money spent, exceeding $100, did not align with the quality of the food.
