Great spot for beer and cider lovers. Very small bar (like seriously tiny) with a rotating tap list that never disappoints. The bartenders are also always friendly and helpful. Important to note that it is cash only.

Small but great beer selection. Bit too dark and loud to hang out and talk. Not a huge amount of seating so don't bring a big group. Bathroom is downstairs of course. Very nice bartender and owner. Cash only, ATM charges $2.50.

This little gem has everything I look for in a bar: dim, slightly sketchy lighting; tiny and cosy ambience; perfect punk music that's not too loud (so you can have an actual conversation without yelling across the table); awesome selection of beers; and super friendly bartenders. I have been to many so-called dive bars but this is as dive-y as it gets. My go-to place for dates and drinking sessions with friends. Thank you, Thirsty! PS: Don't miss the interesting washroom graffiti!

Awesome bar with plenty of craft beers on tap and in bottles. Often very busy as the space is relatively small. Great atmosphere, love the background music -some classic rock, stoner rock, punk. Terrific service. In the heart of Kensington market there are a lot of things to do in the area, and this is a great option. ATM on site. Plenty of tables for groups and seats at the bar.

A rough and grounded bar with a great selection of tasty (craft) beer from tap and canned. Just chill, listen to punk/classic rock music and don't forget to bring cash with you!

Awesome little place to come and sit around and drink and chat all things craft beer. My fave IPA on the planet at the moment is Dieu du Ciel’s Disco Solei.

Dive bar with some solid brew. Love a good dive bar and this one makes no bones about it. Cash and bar service only.

Some of the best drink options you'll find at a bar downtown

A great drinking hole for people who like drinking holes. If what you want is beer(not liquor, not food) And who you want to be surrounded by are the colourful characters of Kensington. Then this is a place for you. Always someone fantastic behind the taps, which offer up something for every taste.

Good place for beer, and only beer. It's a dive bar for sure. They also do Jameson shots. It's a cash only place (with atm). The stairs to the washrooms are pretty steep, and the basement ceiling is super low.

πŸ‘ Good food as always! Convenient. Kids friendly. One star less because in the men’s washrooms there is no arrangement for baby diapers change. I managed it somehow but for a single dad with baby it is not convenient. I hope management would put up something to resolve it. Thank you.
