I was looking forward to checking out this new sports bar in my neighbourhood. It was an overall disappointing experience. I really hope things improve as it would be great to have a good local sports bar. For drinks, we ordered coke. It definitely was not coke. It didn’t just taste like some coke knock-off, but more like some combination of Dr. Pepper, Coke and some dirty water. For food, two of us ordered burgers and one of us ordered fish and chips. Both burgers were burnt, had no flavour and buns were cold. Not only that, but the burger patties were tiny. The fish and chips were more like a few fish sticks. The fries weren’t horrible, but not that good either. I’d also recommend spending the extra 50 cents for brand name ketchup. TV/speaker set-up was mediocre, but not what you’d expect from a sports bar. Service wasn’t bad, but we did ask for an appetizer first that didn’t come out until our food was ready. Making the only two tip options 25 or 22 percent was laughable. Hope things change but I won’t be coming back for a long time.

Beautiful open and spacious place! The food was delicious and service was great! Chris, our server, was very attentive and friendly. I personally ordered the Buffalo chicken wrap with a side of sweet potato fries. Compliments to the chef! The taste, presentation and quantity was perfect. We had an event last night and ordered the sample platter as well as nachos. Everyone enjoyed the food and environment. Thank you for a great night 817!!!

4.5 Service was very good although salad order was incorrect and we had to remind server which party to register the order. We were a party of 12. Really appreciated the info & sampling of the beer on tap so that I could decide on which to order. Food was really good - wings, pizza & salad. Very good selection of drinks; venues was spacious and washrooms were clean.

Came here last night to watch the hockey game and had an amazing time! Such a great selection of beer and cider, delicious poutine (they layered the cheese and gravy just right! I am still thinking about it today) and the boneless wings were yummy. Our server, Sean, was very friendly and funny as well and checked in on us constantly. Would come here again.

817 Sports Bar and Grill is by far my new favourite sports bar in the city. Great service, great energy, great vibe. Good prices on beer and awesome big screens for watching the game. Definitely my new regular spot. Oh and excellent food too!! 5/5

Cold beers on tap, food is unreal, pizza, tacos, fries, everything is a hit. Definitely underrated. Great service, wicked experience. Nice change from a lot of patios in the city.

I enjoyed 817 very much. We were looking for specific seats and management called us back three times to make sure we could find what we wanted to reserve. It's very clean and the staff are wonderful. Food is amazing.

The servers are thorough and do a good job to keep the environment covid-free.

Perfect place for a game! They have, I think the best selection of Beers and food is not bad. The Screens they have set is perfect! Everybody can see a screen from every seat and don't need to break their necks! When gets full, service speed really drops though. I would highly recommend this place and would go again!

NEVER, and I repeat never in my life, anywhere I have been told by a waiter " you have to tip me" I was so shocked that I wasn't even able to reply. He even asked me about my nationality and make a comment about it, making fun of me with her college ( yes, my wife heard you:) ). Let me tell you something about hospitality. I doesn't matter if someone enter in your bar for a cup of coffee ( it wasn't my case), this person can be having a look to celebrate a 30 people's birthday. A customer is a customer, and I am pretty sure the owner will agree. You, my friend get your agreed wages for your job. Me, as customer I pay the price that your boss request for the service, this price can be as high as the owner wants, and I will decide if I want to pay for it or not. Same as when you buy clothes, groceries or whatever. Then comes the taxes that are mandatory and after that my obligations of paying for a product or service are finished. Apart from that, I was asked 4 times in 10 min if I was ready to order, I was asked again if I wanted more beer when I was on the phone, and when the waiter asked me "regular fries or sweets" we said what's the price difference? and he said "I don't know". After that my quesadilla was even burnt, but I did not complain. It is that even good service? In any point, even if it was the best service in the world...NEVER claim a tip. Because the customer is paying the price requested for the service and you are getting paid for your job. The place was not bad, but unfortunately I won't feel welcomed to come back or even ashamed to be pointed like that again. Very bad time.

Super clean, Warm and welcoming atmosphere bartender was efficient. I had mozzarella sticks and jalapeños poppers mmmm good. Watched the Greenbay Packers win on numerous tv’s. will go back!!

Great patio with exceptional service. My server Gen was very attentive and super friendly. They always play relevant sporting events. I ate the Buffalo wrap with fries and it was very good! I tried a few different beers and had a ceaser, all great. Will definitely be making this my summer spot. Two thumbs up!!!!

Terrible food and terrible service. Waited almost an hour for food and it wasn’t even busy. When the waitress brought the food out, it was cold. We got cocktail drinks and it they were very poorly made and below average...would not recommend this place at all.

Man I really liked this bar! Great atmosphere and lots of TVs. There was a mix-up with the server on the price of beer during the Raptors game and I really appreciated the bar following up on that to clear the air. That's great service if you ask me.

Got charge for 3 pints in my last bill when I paid got past 3 pints right after I get the pint. Also, waitress only paid me back for 1 pint even after showing the statement and asked her to check the dvr or ask manager to do so but apparently at the end of raptors game at 10pm on Wednesday this Piercing server said that there’s no manager at this time. Never coming back

My first time there. It is a nice bar, food was good, nice waitress, very spacious, lots of televisions to watch the games! However, we waited a long time for the food. It really wasn't that busy, it was in the early afternoon!

Friendly, fun and sports on TV. I went here for the Champions League final and found it spacious (CV19) and with attentive staff. If you're looking to sit outside, book in advance. Inside, just show up.

This use to be the location of one of my favorites pubs (The Dogs Bollocks). They've made it into a great space. Lots of seating, very big TV's for whatever game you wish to see. The prices are reasonable and the service is alright. Good place to check out if you're in the neighborhood :)
