Great prix fixe menu in a beautiful library space in a heritage building. . Prices are reasonable and the dishes often use local seasonal ingredients. service is excellent and a good choice for a business or casual lunch. The prix fixe menu at Osgoode Hall is a fantastic value: great food in appropriate portions at an attractive price. The venue is completely different than anything else in Toronto and a nice surprise for guests. Highly recommend.

A little gem hidden in downtown Toronto. Who knew there was a fantastic restaurant at Osgoode Hall. Exquisite food. Very good wine list, with knowledgeable staff making great suggestions. The beef is wonderful! Their butter tarts are the best, with flaky pastry. The Prix Fixe is a super bargain. The restaurant is in a baronial-style banquet hall with wonderful stained glass windows. OK so they had run out of one of the entrees of the prix fixe menu we wanted half an hour after opening. OK so our soup came after the entree. OK so one of the deserts had run out when went to order. OK so our waiter got amnesia & brought our coffee & tea well after we had finished our desert. At least we didn't have to go through their "airport-style" security to exit the building. When I entered the building, the body scanner beeped. I told the guy it was probably my belt buckle. No matter. 🙄 An officious guard immediately snapped to attention & fluttered about as I got "the full wand body search." 🤔

Very good and unique dining hall. The food is very good, and at this time of year includes turkey dinner. There are other lighter fares. A short but good wine list. All reasonably priced. The best part is that I feel like I am in Harry Potter's Dining Hall.

Came here for a work lunch. Great service and the food was delicious. I ordered the Goossens farm rainbow trout which was great. This place is tucked away in the law society of Upper Canada building and very much open to the public.

I enjoyed the feel of this restaurant. I felt as if I was transported back in time. The food was of decent quality and the staff was nice and attentive. It's a perfect place to have a business lunch. Reservations are a must.

It is one of those hidden places in Toronto that you don’t want other to know and keep it to yourself, and known to the lawyers and judges for years. Located in a beautiful old library with great food and friendly staff, great place to enjoy the holidays. It is our annual tradition to go for lunch in December...

Interesting menu options that are both tasty and not expensive. Nice atmosphere. Make a reservation.

Food was very excellent. I had a three course meal. Salad was standard, the main was delicious. The steak was cooked perfectly, I'm not sure what was in the potatoes but they were amazing and the vegetables were carrots and something else still very tasty. For dessert I had carrot cake which was very good. They are not large portions however for a lunch they are perfect. Prices were reasonable. I liked the atmosphere the only thing I would remind people is that it is in a law/court building so you do have to pass through metal detectors. Really though that added to the experience for me.

A nice place to have a bit of a fancy lunch. This place is only open for lunch, and is inside the Ontario Court of Appeal. The building itself is beautiful, and the room where the restaurant is decorated with walls of old law books. They have a consistent menu and another that changes. Their chef menu (which is one of the menus that change) gets you an appetizer, main and dessert for about $23 + tax and tip. They had a bread service, but I find that the bread has usually been sitting for awhile and it's as soft as I'd like. Service is always friendly, and very concious of time constraints if you only have an hour or less for lunch.

I honestly had no idea that the public could dine at osgoode hall, but they can and you should! Beautiful dining hall lined with books, portraits and stained glass. Our lunches exceeded expectations, beef tenderloin and Israeli couscous salad, and seared trout with soba noodles. Both were so good! Service by masrul was attentive but not overbearing. Only two minor complaints: White wine could been chilled and the maître de was very business like. Oh, and the prices were fantastic!!!
