This restaurant is very pretty, small and cozy. The food was exceptional, very tasty! I loved the fact that everything was very fresh! The samosas tasted just like back home!! Staff here is also so nice, she gave us complimentary desert! 😋The only concern is if you are driving you have to park at the road as no other parking is available.

Just absolutely wonderful! Best I've had in Toronto, hands down. Flavours so spot on. Fresh, delicious, made with care and love. Beautifully designed and executed. Service was excellent. This is a fantastic spot that deserves patronage and praise.

It’s been a while and we went for dinner at this place. Initially felt skeptical from reviews. But yeah it was worth to come here. Place is pretty decent for dinner date. They have very limited options for vegetarians but yeah dishes were really authentic. Must try 😋 their veggie biryani 🍚. Naans were also really nice. Laccha paratha is not upto the standards. Prices are decent as well as quality and quantity. One time visit is worth it. Staff is welcoming and nice. Malai kofta and kale 🥬 and spinach curry we ordered and both were delicious.

For the GTA this place is probably one of the best Indian cuisine places I’ve had. The food is full of flavours and cooked just right. The service is very generous and kind and offered us Gulab on the house which was phenomenal. Only better if is that the lamb biryani can honestly use more meat for the amount of rice.

We were meant to go somewhere else but the line was too long & we stumbled upon this place instead. There were 4 of us. We had the cauliflower app, chaat, chickpeas, eggplant, garlic naan & fish. Taste & presentation were both excellent.

I found this place while going through numerous Indian place to eat on Diwali. This is cozy little place on Dundas and Runnymede. There was plenty of Parking on the street. I like the vibe the the neighborhood. This place is decorated beautifully with Indian-Modern ambience and has a bar as well. The menu is not too big and There are some experimental items which you won't usually find in Indian cuisine. Appetizers :- We ordered Eggplant Fries and Paneer Tikka. Eggplant fries could have been crisper but still were tasty served with 3 chutneys. Paneer Tikka oozes with Flavour and soft from inside. Spicy Madras Chicken had lots of flavors and zest with a sambar essence . Asparagus Kofta is so creamy and surprisingly tasty which i never expected . The butter naans were so fluffy from the inside and they just tasted so fresh like heaven. There are only 4 cocktails and we ordered 3 i.e Bengal Mojito,Madras Gimlet and Bollywood Gin Tonic . All were quite refreshing and had great taste with Indian style ingredients unlike other indian places . The service was quite well . It has one gender neutral washroom which is quite spacious. I definitely recommend this place. 4.5 /5

Came here a few weeks back after googling some local Indian food and came across this place. Did not disappoint!! Small place but cozy. Started with the Aloo Gobhi as an appetizer and it was hands down the best cauliflower dish I've ever had the pleasure of eating! For the main we ordered Paneer Makhani with Mutter Pulao and a garlic naan. Absolutely phenomenal flavor. Cannot wait to re-visit this place!

Remarkable Indian food experience at Leela. It is said that you eat with your eyes first. In that respect, I would like to express that presentation was on par with fine dining. The garlic naan, lasuni cauliflower dish, and the grilled chicken tikka looked stunning and appetizing . Simply a delightful experience. Dikshya was a really good host for us , she suggested popular dishes and what goes well with the dishes we ordered. I would definitely recommend coming here again in the future.

Good food and really good service. The main dishes were pretty flavorful, barring the Chana Masala, and the naans were very well done, especially the garlic Chili Naan.

Living in India, New Delhi, for 5 years, I’ve learned to distinguish good Indian food from forged. This place is truly serving good food with Canadian touch. Not too spicy, fresh produce and great ambiance, no load music is a bonus. Canadians need this place! Way to go!

Hey family, Here’s my honest review of my visit to Leela Indian Food Bar.I made the visit with some friends on Sunday, June 26, 2022 and I wanted to share my personal experience with you below: Location: .5 star The restaurant is conveniently located on Dundas St west as it serves the tiny neighborhood of Little Malta. Street parking is available for those who commute in and there are plenty of options via transit to get here. If the street is busy you may have to walk a bit to get to the restaurant. Staffing: 1 star Upon entry we were immediately greeted by staff and escorted to our seats. When we placed our order, the staff made recommendations and accommodated our dietary needs. We were able to ask her anything and she was very attentive to our table. Food: 1 star Wow, wow, wow. The food. Let’s talk about the food. It was absolutely delicious, fresh and cooked to perfection. We genuinely enjoyed our dishes. ALOO GOBHI, LAMB VINDALOO and DAAL MAKHANI. Absolutely no complaints here and we would definitely eat here again! Service: 1 star We received our food within 20 minutes of ordering. The service was fast and efficient. No complaints here. Wow factor: 1 star The wow factor has got to be the food. The food speaks for itself. The restaurant itself is nicely decorated with a rustic feel. Even if you don’t feek like dining in I strongly recommend you try the food! All in all, I give Leela Indian Food Bar a 4.5 out of 5. Until next time…

I went there with my girlfriend a few months ago and I just didn't have the time to leave a review. We reserved ahead as space is limited if you want to dine in. There wasn't a lot of people that day, it was a Saturday and we made a reservation for 6PM. Service was reasonably fast and staff was friendly. Food, was amazing (to us Caucasians): tasty, fresh, spicy and really well presented. From the naan bread to the saag lamb, chicken tikka and butter chicken we had, all was excellent and portions were very good, we brought some leftovers home despite my good appetite! Budget-wise, we ended up at about $130 for two (with a lot of food) and 2 alcoholic drinks. Not bad at all considering the quality of the food and service. We had a great time and enjoyed our dinner very much. We will go back! Note: they do take-out too.

Open kitchen, extra friendly service and flavorful Indian food makes this place a good choice for Indian food in Toronto. The most distinct was the cardamom flavor in their mango lassi. If you like the flavor you should get that. The portions are large and they can be shared - especially the appetizers. We ordered our food a bit spicy and we couldn't handle the spice. You can always tell when the service staff are happy working there. These people here took care of the customers very well.

Opted for takeout, craving some comforting Indian cuisine. The Butter Chicken had a promising start with its rich and flavorful sauce, but unfortunately, the meat was extremely dry, and some bites were so hard I questioned the freshness of the chicken. On the brighter side, the Lamb Rogan Josh was delicious, delivering on both flavor and tenderness. While there were glimpses of culinary excellence, the inconsistency in the quality of dishes left me with mixed feelings about my meal.

Went to Leela for dinner for the first time!Food was fantastic and portions were big. Really enjoyed the Butter Chicken with the garlic naan. Found interesting that the Butter Chicken curry was covered and it had a little bowl with charcoal which was immediately taken out before it was given to you. The charcoal gave the curry a really nice flavor! Me and my partner really enjoyed it that we came two more times in less than two weeks! Highly recommend if you’re looking for some tasty Indian food!

Leela is amazing! I've ordered takeout from them a few times, and always loved the food. For my birthday this year I had a last-minute gathering of 25 friends and called Leela on the DAY OF the party, with just hours to spare, and they were able to provide me with takeout for all of those people and it was PERFECT. Thanks to everyone at Leela, in particular the kitchen staff, who made it possible and who made it amazing.

I had the pleasure of being served by Shipra at Leela Indian Food Bar, and her service was outstanding. She was attentive, knowledgeable about the menu, and made our dining experience truly enjoyable. I highly recommend asking for her when you visit. This restaurant is a hidden gem in Toronto. The food was delectable, the ambiance was cozy yet elegant, and the staff were attentive. A perfect place for a memorable meal with friends or a special someone. I'll definitely be returning soon!

Came here for dinner and the food exceeded my expectations. INSANELY delicious. Even tho I eat desi food on the daily at home, this place was just amazing. The butter chicken, afghani malai chicken, kashmiri lamb were my top fav. Will be coming here again n again!!!

Food was really nice and taste was authentic. Interior of restaurant was fascinating. There was less varieties of snacks in veg but you can opt for non-veg. Paneer tikka was delicious and even the biryani was too good.

We tried Leela's for the first time after it was highly recommended for the area, so we may have had higher expectations, although I haven't tried any other Indian restaurants in the area I still enjoyed the dishes. We got the grilled chicken tikka , butter chicken, lamb roganjosh, lamb briyani and the garlic naan. Their naan is great! Not too thick and not too thin , perfectly oiled. Definitely would like to have the butter chicken more creamy/thick, it was more on the gravy/thin side which was a little disappointing. Lmao was very tender and the grilled chicken was seasoned nicely.

A fantastic place for Indian food, especially for those that are sensitive with spices. My wife and I found this place and we went to try the staple butter chicken and biryani (she loves this). The food was flavourful and the butter chicken is infused with coal (as you can see in the attached pic) giving it a fantastic flavour. The biryani was very well made. The rice was cooked very well with the right amount of spices. My wife requested the server to have it made extremely mild and they complied. Highly recommend this place to anyone in GTA.

This was a really nice Indian restaurant and a clean place as well. We had a group of 5 and the food was great. The lamb was so tender that it was melting in our mouth, the paneer makni was so nice and creamy. We especially loved the naans and onion salad. The service could use some help otherwise it was great

The eggplant was fantastic. The lamb was amazing. As a person that does not eat much spicy food it was very reasonable. Friendly staff. Big plates, is good to share.
