Man.... This is the real deal. Longer wait time than I'd like but it was well worth it. Everything we ordered was delicious. The skewers (forgot the Thai name) need to be eaten while they're still hot for the best experience. Once they cool off the meat toughens up a bit. The Tom yum soup was spectacular in both flavor and the amount of seafood that was included. My only gripe was that the papaya salad was not spicy. Lord don't get me started on the sticky rice and mango dessert. Legit just like I had it in Thailand a few years back. Not too sweet and just the right serving size to share with a loved one. Would 100% order two because I wouldn't want to share. If we are ever in the Toronto area, this will be a stop that we will visit again. Well done.

I found this restaurant is just average for me. Nothing is that special, really. The food is just average compared to other places. I've tried many Thai restaurants in Toronto, and some are better than Pai for sure. Just cause PAI had a macheline star doesn't mean it's good. To me, it's average. Service can be better, though.

Love this place! Awesome, chill vibe! The menu is fantastic, with plenty of wonderful options. Each of our dishes were really flavourful and extremely satisfying! The staff are really friendly and courteous, attentive and accommodating for allergies. The expanded dining area is terrific and very cozy. Make sure to make reservations, as this is a very popular spot. Make sure to save some space for their coconut sorbet!

I've been to Pai countless times. I thought once the novelty wears off, that I wouldn't find the food worth the long lines and wait time, but it's still worth every minute. Easily one of the best Thai restaurants in Toronto.

Review for Vegetarians. Not your average Thai restaurant! The menu features Northern Thai specials with a few usual suspects like Pad Thai and Hot and Tom Yum soup. But for the most part, you will be amazed to know the other Thai dishes that exists! They’ve tons of vegetarian options and the staff is willing to work with you to substitute any meat dishes with tofu. Make reservations in advance on their website or be prepared to wait for 1 hour.

A beautiful gem in downtown Toronto. They have a long waiting but the vibe and food is great. Loved their Pad kra pow and drunken noodle veg. The salad we had was our highlight! The green curry was not that great but also heard from our table next door that other veg dishes are good. It was sad that there was no sticky mango rice but alas Worth a visit :) You can sip some drinks at their bar while waiting or I ended up going to the brewery (Town Crier) next door.

Amazing Thai food. Really authentic, and one of the best Thai meals I’ve had outside of Thailand. We had a mix of spice tolerance in our group but can confirm that the food is very spicy if you want it to be. The vibe of the restaurant is nice as well with a lot of older Thai artwork and pop culture references. Walk in line is extremely long so try and get a reservation in advance if you can.

The food is good. Had a birthday party here, a group of 10 people. The average bill for each person is $60. Compared to the price, the food is OK. Service was good as well. The party tax was added in the BILL on top of tax, which was around 10-12% , I don't remember it exactly. If you want to try some Thai, this is one of the best places to do so. For me, it's a one-time visit. Don't order veg rolls, I felt like it was a waste of money. The same goes for the chicken wings as well. They were OK but not filling when you compare it with the price

The food is good. Although the seating space is a bit crowded, it gives the feeling of a cozy restaurant hideaway. I highly recommend making a reservation, especially on Friday nights. We didn't have one and ended up waiting about 20 minutes in the waiting area. However, the staff was very nice and accommodating.

We went there on a Monday evening, and there was a long line out the door. The wait was fairly short though, only being around 30 minutes. Once we stepped into the restaurant, we were shocked by how large the interior was, sprawling far into the building. We heard rave reviews from others, so we had high expectations. Their service was impeccable, and the food was amazing. My favorite dish was the laab salad, the flavours being fresh and herbal, cutting through the fatty meat. The rest of the dishes were also great in both taste and technique. Overall, a great experience and we will definitely be back to try the beef noodles.

Loved this place. The food tastes so homemade and authentic. We went at 2pm and had to wait for 30 min, at 3 it dies down a bit. I had the Pad Thai and it was amazing but the see ew was the star of the evening, so tasty and flavorful. Definitely recommend coming here.

Some of the best Thai food I’ve had! Partner and I were in town for the weekend and heard about the restaurant from some local friends. There was a lineup for the restaurant, took us about 45 minutes to get in. The Pad Thai, curry, and chicken skewers were all very delicious! I’d recommend any of these dishes. Price was a bit on the higher end, but somewhat expected for downtown Toronto.

I love this restaurant, everything about it is great. They have all kinds of neat decorations around the place, friendly staff, and above all - amazing food. Pictured here is the oxtail curry, and it came with jasmine rice wrapped up in a big leaf. It’s now my favourite curry, and probably the best curry I ever had (I’ve had many). It’s a really flavourful dish, and it warms you up, perfect on a cold night. I highly recommend coming here, but be prepared to wait, because they are always busy. It makes for a great date spot too. ;3

Best Thai food in Canada. Their green curry is the best. They served it in a coconut with jasmine rice. Their service is really fast and servers are welcoming. I really like the ambiance of this restaurant. Mango sticky rice is a must have in dessert. Their red curry is also yummy. Another delicious item on their menu is Pad Thai - best I’ve ever had. They have so many vegan options as well and you can ask them to make your dishes nut free and gluten free. Overall 5/5 stars for food, service and ambiance of this restaurant. I would definitely visit again. Highly recommended!!

Delicious and authentic pad Thai! The ambiance was really cool! Food was delicious (they have big plates). It was totally worth it. It was packed, but people were kind and it was incredible well organized. We signed up in the waiting list and went to the bar to have drinks first. Nice cocktails.

Awesome dinner from PAI. We ordered our dinner and opted for pickup as dine in is not available due to COVID-19 and delivery was not an option. We ordered and started from our place which was around 40 mins. By the time we reached, the food was ready to be picked up. The pickup process was smooth. You just enter the building and all orders were kept on a table waiting to be picked up. We went in, shared our order details and our packet was handed over to us quickly. We ordered Green curry, Pad Thai and Pad Gra Prow. Green curry is our favorite now as it is one of the best Green Curry we had. Probably the best in Toronto. Pad Thai was also too good with good amount of chicken, tofu and eggs mixed. The taste was really amazing. There were crushed peanut provided separately which added in the taste. Gra Pro was also good and tasted well, but it was a bit too oily for us. Otherwise it would have been another hit for sure. The portion seemed to be a bit on the lesser side based on the cost of the dishes. Before all the offices in downtown closed down, we had PAI dishes frequently for much lesser price and more quantity. But now it seemed to be less for more prices. This is the reason for 1 less star in the reviews. Otherwise PAI is definitely an authentic Thai place in Toronto and definitely worth trying. Definitely recommended. Enjoy your Thai.

Amazing spot for authentic Thai food. The Tom Yum soup was spicy and tangy and packs a punch. The main course was so delicious I forgot to take pictures. Can’t wait to go again and try new items.

We Ordered & liked 1. Vegan Masaman Curry 2. Chicken Thai Fried Rice 3. Spring Rolls 4. Thai Iced Tea Review Was able to get a walk in reservation on a weekday eve.. the restaurant is a few steps down from street level but is quite spacious. The service was quite quick! The food was simply amazing and worth every penny. Would definitely revisit !

Pai is as good as it gets even though they didn't surpass my expectations. Food and drink are pleasing but price is a bit steep; they do have better menu than average because there are more varieties with street food options. The restaurant is always crowded with a lineup but the staff will try to accommodate as soon as possible and the restaurant is larger than it seems. Overall experience is good but I think they're a little bit overhyped as nothing is spectacular.

We had to try Pai after seeing so many great reviews. We probably waited less than 20 minutes on a Sunday evening around 7. The service was friendly. The green curry was excellent and portion was split between a coconut and a bowl, which was much appreciated. The Tom yum soup was everywhere I was hoping for— sour, salty, sweet, savory, and spicy. It was well balanced. The shrimp chips were surprisingly good and better than ones I’ve had from other places. The mango in the coconut sorbet was heavenly, and the sorbet was light and creamy. The only food critique was I heard the pork belly was really tough and chewy, difficult to eat.

Pork Skewers, Beef Pad Thai and Fried Squash were all excellent! Spicy P drink was great as well. Showed up with no reservation and it took around 45 min to get a table. Excellent service and atmosphere. Would highly recommend this place 9.5/10

Had a nice dinner here with my boyfriend. Shared 2 appetizers (beef salad and sausage platter) and the Northern Thai platter, and ended up with some leftovers to take home! Cute relaxed vibes. The restaurant does keep going once you’re inside, it’s quite large. Fun basketball themed cocktail names. We‘ll likely visit again on our next visit to Toronto.

Amazing ambiance and great vegan options. Few Thai places cater so well to vegans and vegetarians. Love the service and food. Great for larger groups too as they have bigger tables in the back room. Visited Pai many times and never have I had any complaints.

Came back after a while and food was still very nice. We came as a group of 6 and all of the food we order were great. I love Tom Yum so much. Green curry and chef’s choice are the must-try dishes. It was a little bit packed when we arrived, there were enough room for us to sit comfortable. Drinks were not really nice.

Delicious Thai food! The green curry in coconut is very flavorful; it's a little spicy. The garlic tofu is really good as well. The tofu was marinated before deep frying, which is nice. Reservation is sold out pretty fast and wait time can get quite long, so try to get here when they open if you can.

Recently, I dined at PAI, a restaurant I discovered through the Michelin Guide. After eagerly awaiting my reservation for two months, I found the place to be charming, though not exceptionally unique. It offers a casual dining experience. As a vegetarian, I appreciated the extensive vegetarian options available. The ability to choose the spiciness level added to the dining experience. While the atmosphere was pleasant, I rated the service at four stars, as the server didn't provide much assistance in selecting a cocktail. Overall, PAI is a great spot for a laid-back lunch or dinner.

Yes you will wait forever, but it is so popular for very good reason! The food was unbelievable, like 10/10 and the prices are shockingly fair. Be cautious the portions are quite large you really don't need too many dishes but this is a must try! Also Jeff is so nice he came out and talked for a while, always love when owners do that, really adds to the experience! The cocktails are also great!

My husband and I came here for my birthday dinner. We had to wait in line to get in as we didn't have a reservation, then had to wait for another 15 minutes for a table. Total waiting time was about 25-30 minutes I guess. Once we were seated, the service was quite fast, and the servers were friendly. The food was amazing and came fairly quickly as well. The chicken satay is a must-try, they were succulent and flavorful and set the tone for the rest of the meal. I ordered the green curry with chicken, which came in a coconut with the rice on the side. It tasted just as delicious as it looked. My husband ordered the beef Khao Soi, and that was scrumptious as well. We ordered the Mango Sticky Rice for dessert and that was the best I've had in Toronto. We also ordered Thai iced tea, which was the perfect drink for the meal. Their portion sizes are good enough - in fact there was too much food for the two of us and we did have some trouble finishing our meals. The next time we go, we will probably not order any starters.

Make reservations if you can, but if not a casual walk in works as well. When you walk in you immediately feel the hip vibe of the place. We walked in and had a minor wait, but grabbed a drink at the bar. Bartenders were awesome and quickly took our drink order and even mixed up a nice cocktail for me. We got seated at our table. There’s so much goodness on the menu it was hard to decide because we wanted it all. But the waiter was very helpful. The food and customer service was spectacular!! We got seat a little after 9 and they closed at 930 (a Tuesday). Ran out of time to grab desert, but now we have a reason to return. A Northern Thai gem in the center of Toronto!! Absolutely Wonderful!!

One of the top spots in Toronto for Thai dishes. Very long lines even during weekdays. The best dish was hands downt the pad Thai. It was everything I expected it to be. The green curry was not exceptional but everything we tried was delicious. Portion sizes are average and service was a little bit slow. Overall great with enjoyable food

I’ve been here two times recently and the food has been awesome both times. They have tofu options for vegetarians and meat can easily be switched out for tofu in most dishes. The Khao Soi and Pad See Ew are favourites, Thai iced tea is also a must try and pairs great with some spicier food options as a sweet drink. Quite hard to get a reservation here but managed to get one, and had luck the other time just walking in. Would just say that it can be quite dark inside and loud with the hustle and bustle and music that’s playing.

Amazing food and ambience. The food is a little pricey, but you pay for the quality of the ingredients. We love it so much. We try Kao so. Tom yum soup is really good. And if you are a Pad Thai lover, then you can’t go wrong with this dish. We will definitely come back.

This is the second time here and this place does not disappoint. Always big lines up here so I suggest to make a reservation. The tom yum soup is so flavourful and the steak salad is amazing and a must have! The steak cook beautifully. Rest of the dishes are also pretty good. I highly suggest to order coconut sherbet, taste soooooo good! Highly recommend this place!

Yum! Stopped by for some Thai food and was not disappointed! Definitely make a reservation because there was a huge line during lunch time. Got the Thai chicken wings as an appetizer. Three fried chicken wings topped with crispy shallots, lemongrass, and crispy chillies with a sweet tamarind sauce ($6). Definitely nice and crispy. For the main, I got the shrimp green curry ($19.50) which came with jasmine rice. Green curry with bamboo shoots, makrut lime leaves, basil leaves, and coconut milk. Topped with Thai basil and red pepper. Loved the presentation - the curry came in the coconut and also in a bowl - there was so much food! My friend got the Tom yum soup and it was also served with rice. It was quite big so she got half packed to go!

One of the best Thai restaurants in Toronto . It may take some time to get a table, but it’s because it’s so popular. The staff is super friendly and love to small talk with their customers. The foods are super tasty and are made fresh and even the drinks are delicious . Get here ASAP if you’re visiting Toronto.

The best Thai food I've had in Toronto! Can't believe a vegetarian spring roll can taste so good. The best green curry and it's served in a coconut... too bad you can't change the spice level, it's done medium spicy. We got their Pai Thai in Thai Spicy level... they don't mess around there, ouch but in a good way. Would def keep coming again & again!

It was full when we came but the waiting line was super easy. The bartender just attached our drinks while we were waiting and the crew was super friendly. If you want to eat Thai food and enjoy a nice atmosphere then this is the place. Being from Sweden though, it really didn't feel like the usual Thai restaurant which I truly enjoyed

Went to have Dinner with friends, and everyone loved the food. Most of us chose the vegetarian options. We had all of this: Appetizer - spring rolls Main course - green curry (it comes in a coconut and dont forget to scoop the cream out of the coconut once you finish the curry) Pad Thai - noodles Khao pad baan nok - fried rice Pad gra prow Drink - Thai iced tea Dessert - coconut sorbet Amazing food, service & ambiance! Definitely recommend!!

We went in around 5:30pm on a Friday night without reservations and were seated within 15 minutes. Service was friendly and fast and our server explained to us the different levels of spiciness. We both got the chicken pad Thai but I ordered mild and my husband who loves spicy got the foreign spicy. My husband, who doesn’t eat Asian kind of spicy food, said the foreign spicy level was perfect for him. We parked in a parking garage down the street and paid $9 for one hour and we were in and out of PAI before our parking time ran out. This was a great choice for our first dinner visiting here in Toronto!

I don't like over-indulging at restaurants. Eating so much that it's hard to walk is rarely enjoyable. But the food here is so good I could not help myself! I didn't feel like reading the entire menu so I just asked the bartender what he recommended and went with that. Couple drinks, finished with a 47 Monkey gin and mango rice pudding and I was done! Will 100% go back the next time I'm in Toronto!

Superb food. Real long lines so make sure you come early to reserve. GREEN CURRY IS A MUST!! Basil fried rice was very mediocre but the curries hit the spot. Really worth the wait. People can be loud (despite plexi glass). You can head over to District for drinks ($10 each) and a block away meanwhile. I would definitely come again just for the green curry.

This place is worth the hype!! The vibe is super casual, great spot to hangout on a weeknight. No nice clothes needed. Service was good but I think I spoke to about 7 different staff members which felt odd. I'm sure it helps them to keep a well oiled machine going but it struck me. The food is unbelievably good. Went with my dad for his birthday and got the garabong to start with a Thai iced tea. The tea was pleasantly sweet without being overpowering and the garabong was stupid good. Then we got both the chefs favourites. Definitely try the coconut curry. So good!!! Definitely coming back!!

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Pai restaurant, and I must say, I had a delightful experience. The ambiance was warm and inviting, creating a cozy atmosphere for a great meal. The staff was friendly and attentive, ensuring that our needs were met throughout the evening. The menu offered a variety of delicious options, showcasing the chef's creativity and expertise. Each dish was expertly prepared, with fresh and high-quality ingredients. The flavors were well-balanced, and the presentation was impeccable. I particularly enjoyed the unique blend of spices and aromas in every bite. While the overall experience was fantastic, there were a few minor hiccups that prevented me from giving it a perfect rating. The wait time for our food was slightly longer than expected. However, the restaurant staff handled these issues professionally and promptly, ensuring that we still had an enjoyable meal. I highly recommend Pai restaurant to food enthusiasts looking for a memorable dining experience. With its charming ambiance, friendly staff, and delectable dishes, it's definitely worth a visit. I look forward to returning and trying more items from their menu in the future!"

I usually prefer not waiting for food so when I saw that it was an hour wait time and we were 30th on the wait list, I was hesitant for a bit but I'm glad we waited. Service was fast and the line went quick. I am not into Thai food because I'm under impression they were mostly spicy but the options for food in PAI restaurant were all worth the wait. I am totally converted to loving Thai food too 😎

I am not one to really like Thai food as it typically doesn’t achieve my taste buds. Though Pai takes my whole perspective and turn it around in a 360 degrees. I have never had something so amazing that has a mixture of sweet and spicy. Now I know why it is categorized as on of the best Thai places in Toronto and there is always a lineup. From the wings I tried to the soup and the Mango sticky rice. Everything was truly amazing. Took me long to get a reservation but it was truly worth it.

The food is OK but I see the popularity of this place is mostly from the (somewhat dramatic) plating. Menu is surprisingly small -- there is no Pad Kee Mao! Both Tom Yum soup and green curry taste OK but nothing to write home about. Personally, I think the curry is a bit too sweet. The leaf wrapped rice looks interesting but I see no utility of the leaf itself, and in fact the rice is drier than average (probably due to water evaporating through the leaf) and does not have the typical fragrance of jasmine rice. Went around 5 pm so the waiting time was not long 15-20min but longer waiting time would totally not be worth it.

For all my fellow Muslims: this location doesn’t carry halal meat anymore but the uptown location does. I didn’t know this until we asked our server before ordering. Nevertheless I opted for shrimp and still enjoyed my meal very much. I also highly recommend the Thai iced tea— it’s the best I’ve ever had. They can also make your meal gluten-free upon request and have vegetarian/vegan options. Very lively with an interesting and fun atmosphere that definitely represents Toronto. Servers are kind and attentive. A bit of a wait is expected during the weekend.

Extremely tasty take away from PAI. Here’s what we had: Kung Tawt ‘Garlic Shrimp’. This was a portion of six delicious black tiger garlic shrimp. They were accompanied with a sweet tamarind sauce Gaeng Panag - This was a panang curry sauce with makrut lime leaves, Thai basil leaves, red bell peppers, and coconut milk. We had it with chicken and served it on jasmine rice. It was mild and pleasantly spiced. Pad Gra Prow - The dish is made with holy basil stir-fried with ground pork. Again it was served on steamed jasmine rice but also nam prik nam pla sauce (fish sauce, garlic, chilli & lime). We also requested two fried eggs on top so that we could have one each. When we have had this at restaurants before normally it is very spicy. At Pai, we were give a choice of the level of spice, which meant we could have it Medium.

This place is a vibe for sure! Went here for my husband’s birthday and we ordered khao soi (w chicken), masaman curry (w chicken), and pad see ew (w shrimp). The food was well presented and this is not just another thai restaurant. The place is quite unique. Loved the way they wrap jasmine rice in a banana leaf (that’s what I thought it was) and thank god the portion size of the rice was so apt. The curry was great and had an authentic touch. We also ordered the thai mojito and loved it! The server was sweet enough to take my request and get the mango coconut sorbet with a candle on the top to celebrate my husband’s birthday. The sorbet was ah-mazing. Huge shoutout to the staff here.

My wife and I have been to Toronto twice and PAI is a must every time. It may take some time to get a table, but it’s because it’s so popular. The staff is super friendly and love to small talk with their customers. You can tell they love working here and it builds up the atmosphere. I’ve tried something different each time and loved both. Get here ASAP if you’re visiting Toronto.

Pai is definitely worthy of the top 10 best Toronto restaurants!!! I walked in and was lucky to find a bar seat, where Judy served me. Ordered wings, Tom yum soup and chicken Pad Thai. The wings with the deep fried shallots and kefir lime leaves were very good (great tangy dipping sauce). The Tom Yum soup was so good that I would have cancelled my main course and taken the larger serving, but I wanted to try at least 1 other item, so settled for the chicken Pad Thai. Judy asked what my capacity for spice level was - I can take a lot of heat so I replied as such to which, Judy was prompt in saying within what we see as high limits, the Pad Thai would be made - to ensure the food maintains authenticity. The Pad Thai - wow, the best I've had in 20+ years of restaurant dining. What I feel is the difference along with the sauce base used is that each fork I ate had not just noodles, but either the chicken or vegetables or the really wonderful tofu the chef had added - the tofu is diced very small and it's high on flavor, I almost think it's marinated to attain such good texture and flavor, while it maintained shape during the making of the Pad Thai. Long story short, a MUST visit for anyone that likes good Thai food. I'll be revisiting soon.

Best Thai restaurant in Toronto in our opinion. At least when compering to those we had been to :) Best Pad Thai we have ever had including our asian experiences. Old classic rock music in the background might raised our reception though;)

The place is really big and the service is good. I came without reservation a Saturday evening and I just had to wait 30 min for a table, which was great. However, I wouldn’t say that the food is excellent. It doesn’t taste bad nor anything like that. I just thought that due to other reviews that I had seem of the place the food would be extremely good, when it was actually just okay. However, I invite people to go and try it and get their own opinion. Also, the decoration is really bright and happy. I liked that.

The food and service here were overall really great. They have an entire separate section for vegan and vegetarian, so it's definitely diet restriction friendly. The Khao Soi curry noodles with the crunchy noodles and egg noodles had a nice texture contrast as well as strong curry flavor. Beef was a tad tough so I'd go with the chicken next time. As for appetizers, the Grabong (squash fritter) was amazing. The dip that comes with it was so flavorful and not too sweet while the fritter itself wasn't too oily. I recommend either coming 10-15 mins early before opening to grab a table for 1st seating, or getting a reservation outright. The lines start to get long before it even opens even on weekdays.

This place is definitely worth the hype! We had two sets of friends tell us about this place and to make sure we went while we were visiting Toronto and they weren’t wrong. The food was great and so were the drinks. We are so much while we were here. Loved it!!!!

Worth the hype. Definitely. We had a group of 4 which turned to 7 by the time we got seated (1.5 hr wait) and it was still worth it. The host and hostess were incredibly accommodating, friendly and the food was incredible. Drinks are strong, food came out in a timely manner and the server was great. They have a waiting area in the back with plenty of seating and the atmosphere was great. Not to mention their seating platform is integrated with their billing so you can grab drinks at the bar and no up front payment is needed- they attach it to your seat. Truly 5 🌟 well deserved.

Really popular place with long wait times, better to reserve table a day before. Highly recommend red curry 🍛 vegan option. Serving of food is really authentic.

The flavors of these dishes is unexplainable! Every dish had a unique and fresh flavor. My party was very satisfied with their orders. I was quite impressed with the vegan options as well (although I opted for the chef nuits beef pad thai).

This place is so popular! You better book a table or arrive early to leave your name on waiting list . Pad Thai was amazing. I loved it!! Tom yum was good as well, but I would stick with pad Thai. A dish is around $20 to $25 dollars.

This has got to be our best Thai experience in Canada. It compares to some really great Thai we've eaten in Philly (Chabba) and in Amsterdam. It's a busy place but we got our table in half hour. They put you on wait-list and text you when your table is ready. In the meantime, you can check out the PAI story and other cool things on the wall. The waitress did mention that none of the items are spicy but brought us their hot oil which is very flavorful. We had their signature green curry which was definitely the highlight. Do dig in to the coconut and scrape the tender coconut and eat it too! We also got their noodles which was great. The amount of protein and in general their quantity is pretty generous. I would think they're decently priced, not too bad for the area especially because the quantity is so good. Taste totally hits the spot. Service is pretty great too. We were seated next to the toilets at first and asked to be moved and they obliged immediately even though they're really busy. Decor is so bright and beautiful with all the hanging lanterns. You don't feel like you're in a dingy basement. It's pretty vibrant and loud. We are going to keep coming back when we have Thai cravings.

Great restaurant! Worth a bit of a wait in the line, which you can't really avoid. Tried a few different curries and loved them all, both the taste and the presentation! Cosy atmosphere made me quickly understand why so many famous people visited the restaurant. Love the story behind the place and the cool basketball posters!

The place was packed and wait times were an hour + on a Saturday, but we didn't mind walking around the city until we were seated. The food was so good and worth the wait! We ordered the mango salad as an appetizer and shared Tom Yum and Pad Thai. The mango salad was so good, I could eat a whole bowl of it as a main meal! Tom Yum was served on a flame to keep it warm, and came with a side of jasmine rice to enjoy with the rich broth. Pad Thai was a classic delicious nutty dish as well. Highly recommend the place if you're in the area and got time. Will definitely come back to try the other dishes there!

Went here for my birthday! It was sooo good. We got the platter and pad see ew, definitely way too much for two people but it was so good that we just kept eating! The staff that worked here were also really nice and accommodating. We arrived at around 7:45 and were able to get a table in ~10 minutes. I've been recommending this place to my friends since then and they've loved it!

Food is dank. We had the chef’s special curry egg noodles with tofu, pad thai, and chicken wings. Their sangria is also off the chain. Has lychee in it! Yum. Vibe is cool with lights and lanterns. Attentive service. Will definitely be back again! They take walk-ins. Wasn’t long for 3 ppl on a Friday night at 7:30pm.

Needless to say, this is the most popular Thai restaurant in Toronto. Food is good, ambience is good, friendly waiters and waitresses..... To avoid the disappointment, remember to make the reservation first.

Disclaimer: I have not eaten at every Thai restaurant on the east coast of the US or Canada. :) But I swear Pai has to be the best Thai restaurant in any city anywhere from Miami to Toronto. The place also has a cool bar with some specialty cocktails, and the vibe is mad cool. Try the hand cut noodles.

Words cannot do justice to there food quality!! 1-On arrival booking perfect 2-Decent ambience and great vibe 3-amazing sangria 4-Best Thai food 5-Amazing service and experience Servers were nice and helpful and helped us out to choose the best main course. Lee and Jaymer did awesome job letting us know about food and thing used in that. And they made sure if we have any allergies to anything before placing order!! Totally in love with this food place definitely coming back !!❤️❤️

Just awesome! Great flavours in the dishes, that rich authentic taste (and heat). We did lunch which was great but it looks like a lot of the real house specials are only avail after 4pm. Will definitely go back and is a downtown gem.

I believe this is the first Pai location in Toronto. Came here around 2PM for a late lunch and it was surprisingly packed! Service was quick and you can tell the place needs a uplift. Aside from that the food was delicious but could definitely use more rice for their curry dishes.

PAI is definitely a very popular spot in Toronto and, for some people, it may even seem somewhat touristy, but the food there is actually delicious. It gets very busy but, we have been lucky enough to get seated almost right away. Overall, the service is good, a little slow at times but, so far it hasn't been a problem. The food is very tasty, fresh and crispy. Perhaps, a bit pricey but, the portions are satisfying. The ambiance is lively and the décor definitely takes you to another place.

Long line to get in but well worth it. The papaya salad (mild version was plenty spicy) was spectacular. Highly recommend. Certain rooms can be a bit loud for little kids. We ended up getting take out instead because our little one was tired. And the food still tastes delicious. Also spring rolls and Pad Thai were solid.

I've been here three times, and while many love it, I find it overrated. The wait time is often lengthy, and quite a number of dishes aren't available until after 4pm. The food is okay, but after waiting for an hour, I expected more. The shrimp chip is my all time favorite though .

Great place for authentic Thai food. Quick and efficient and friendly service. The shrimp and yellow squash starters and main courses were tasty, fresh and great portions.

Absolutely incredible experience. Get there early and put your name down, we only waited 30 mins but it was worth it. The most COVID safe establishment out there! The decor was really nice and cozy, such a large space and even though it was busy we were spread out. The food was delicious and the portions were huge, prices were fair. Will make sure to come again!

As Thai I can confirm these are authentic Thai food. All menu we ordered were delicious, reminded me of my home food. Definitely 100 percent recommended. We forgot to reserve the table so it takes quite sometime to get the table but it's worth to wait. Recommend to reserve the table. The ambience is superb, northern Thai style decoration.👍🏼💯
