Really excited to check this place out! My friends and I went for dinner on Monday. First off, beautiful hotel and great views from the rooftop. We were seated quickly. We asked if we could change our seats as we didn't like where we were seated. The waiter accommodated to our request although he didn't introduce himself. We ordered the chicken katsu to share. It honestly tasted like frozen chicken strips with BBQ sauce from the grocery store. For the mains we ordered the warm soba bowl and butter chicken. The Butter Chicken did not look like butter chicken and the roti was burnt. The Warm soba bowl had a strong pungent odor (smelled like a farm). The chicken in the bowl smelled like it was spoiled. Two of my friends sent back the bowl and ordered chicken wings and fries to make up for it. The French fries were comparable to store bought mcain fries. In addition, I bought two cocktails which came to $17 each. When it came to service; we waited a while for food, the server did not check in with us, he did not offer any food suggestions, had attitude and we felt discriminated against. Pricey for below average food and service. Unfortunately I had higher expectations for this rooftop bar. I would not recommend it sadly.

The views are stunning and we enjoyed watching some early fireworks quite a bit. The decor is swanky and quite modern. We were disappointed in the service. Although it was pleasant enough, it was slow. 12 of us were celebrating my 40th birthday and we’re annoyed the would not allow us to reserve outside and really stuck to their “first come, first serve” policy. My experience has always been that establishments make some effort for patrons celebrating their birthday, which the rooftop did not. Boo Their drinks were decent if you ordered off their cocktail menu, anything else was very very basic. My mother asked for an extra dirty martini with extra olives..but instead received the most basic martini ever. Some of the food was okay, some was not so okay. The edamame was decent and probably my favourite. Their crinkle fries were an enormous portion and decent. The ch Ike’s wings were well cooked, but lacked real flavour. My husband felt the bao bun was gross. My friends REALLY enjoyed their poke tacos. Overall, it’s worth going here for the views, but keep expectations regarding service and food low.

This hotel and restaurant is exactly what you want to experience when visiting Toronto. Great vibe and great service. Our server Jane was so sweet and accommodating. The decor, views, food - everything was spot on. The menu has a great variety of options and prices are very reasonable. Loved the ramen fries and soba noodles. We can’t wait to come back.

Had an awesome time at The Rooftop! The ambiance was fantastic, and the food was delicious. Plus, the view of the CN Tower was absolutely killer. It's definitely a spot to hit up if you're looking for a chill place to enjoy some good food, great drinks, and an epic skyline. Can't beat the combination of great bites, refreshing drinks, and that iconic view. Highly recommend for a fun night out with friends or a special date night. Thumbs up for The Rooftop! 🍔🍹🏙️

A great night for catching up. Our server was really nice and the food was good. Well timed and great knowledge on the menu. The only reason for the 4 stars is i went to the washroom and when i came back i was locked out. Had to walk down and take the elevator back up. Looking forward to coming back in the summer😁

The atmosphere and view at this hotel is beautiful inside and on the patio. It’s a very relaxed and comfortable environment for a drink. The food here is also very good, the fried cauliflower was delicious and very flavourful. The drink menu was a bit underwhelming, not a lot of cocktail options and the cocktail I did get tasted like just watered down tequila and lime. A bit disappointing but I would still come back for the view!

Really nice views and vibes. Servers are all really nice and the food was super quick to come out. Would have loved if the food was a liiiittle bolder in terms of flavour. Definitely coming back here again though!

It was great, loved it,great scenery according to where you sit. It started to rain a bit and they had a retracting cover so we didnt get wet nor have to move indoors.Friendly staff. The bathroom is amazing. You have your sink right in your own stall.

There is about 6 sits with very nice far view of CNC tower and nice set up and music. The the food wasn't the best, very little options, tiny portions (1/4 of a plate) and not the best taste. This place is great for drinks but not to eat.

Love the ambience here. Totally chill place with many low seating lounge couch to enjoy the delicious Asian fusion tapa dishes served here. Curry flavors onion rings bring a surprising but to the classic, and samosa with tamarind dip is perfectly fried in the outside, with fluffy filling. Drinks are also delicious.

It was my first time going to this rooftop andy overall experience was great. The menu is a little bit limited in terms of options, but the food was delicious. I had a Red hot chicken bao and my husband had a Tuna bowl. The cocktail were also good, I really enjoyed mine which was bit sweet and not too strong. The service and the atmosphere were great. The view is simply amazing. I'll definitely return. This is the space to go for drinks and small bites.

Pros: -server was attentive and friendly. -appetizers (crispy prawns / sweet potato fries) were cooked well -The pork carnitas tacos for $30 came with 4 tortillas so somewhat more value than the fish tacos. Cons: -Price. Even post covid, I know/understand everything went up but you can do so much better for the price. -$16 for 2 pieces of fish Tacos is just not worth it. -yellowfin tuna poke is so bad. The cuts were super thick and it's not really a poke. Also not seasoned overall, it was just very bad, after 5 different people trying it and had the same verdict -The "crispy tofu tonkatsu" is NOT crispy at all. Imagine a soggy fish, there was nothing good to say about it -The view isn't really that good maybe at night. But during the day, you see mostly a bunch of trees on the long side and some skylines on the shorter side

The rooftop restaurant has awesome service, food and views. Our waitstaff, Stephanie, was very friendly and professional and went out of her way to ensure our seating preferences were accommodated.

Beautiful view the menu isn't very large standard bar menu, the cocktails were a bit strong and overpriced, but the decent service and stunning view definitely made it a great experience. Also, don't be fooled by the names on the menu it is definitely more loosely asian inspired. The bulgogi and the galbi ribs are nothing like the real thing.

Very popular and busy after 4pm. We sat indoor as it was little cold on the patio yesterday but still the view looking out of the window is enjoyable. Good place hanging with friends.

A fun setting for drinks, dinner or even a wedding reception with a charming view whether you’re overseeing the CN tower or not. However service was a little awkward and the menu is limited. Dessert option was underwhelming.

Lovely rooftop bar with great views of the skyline. The food was great, but could definitely benefit from a vegetarian or vegan main dish being added to the menu. I advise going at sunset to watch the sky glow behind the buildings.

They gave us blankets to keep warm on the roof. Decent vegans options. Kind of expensive but you're paying for the nice views and experience.

Great view and good food. Service can be better. The waitress took 3 rounds in the span of like 20 mins to finish cleaning the plates off our table and was MIA most of the time (looks to be chatting or chilling at the bar)

it was the first time i was dining in a rooftop, and it was terrific, with the view on the CN Tower, the sunset’s colors and the restaurants’ lights we were glad there were some vegan options too on the menu ! we ordered spicy brussels sprouts and dumplings which were incredibly tasty !

Excellent drinks in a great atmosphere. I've enjoyed several meals at this restaurant, including lunch and dinner. The drinks are tasty and generous - for example, a classic Caesar. Indoors, the room is spacious and comfortable, with generous light through the glass ceiling during the day. Outdoors (during the warmer seasons), the patio offers good views around the neighborhood. The food is fun and sometimes heavily seasoned. Service is excellent and friendly, even when the restaurant is crowded. Recommended for a fun evening out.

As other reviews mentioned, this place is not nice for your birthday or any occasion events. 1. Please noted that I booked an ouside table before 5 days 😅 It means I really wanted to celebrate and enjoy it. It's ridiculous when they asked you with reservation if you have special day, and then nothing happen. 2. The view. I'm truly to say people come to your place for a view and they will pay for what they receive. However, if you know the windy, the bad weather or any reason which cannot arrange and serve outside. How did you open for reservation online? And why didnt send any message regarding that? 3. You were arranged the table inside and I wish to have photo outside, then you agreed with that. Ok but I ordered 2 cocktails over $40 and I served it by myself though it had sun later outside??? And the foods, was it nice decoration for birthday and quality of black on fried sweet potato, also limited for food choice. Could you please tell us that we spend time to your hotel, to your bar for what? We could go to other nice place with the best service and suitable price in downtown right? Note: the view is not fabulous as their picture, especially check the sunny or cloudy before going there.

The vibe is great obviously as it’s a rooftop. Servers were nice and professional! Food portions are comparably small, and everything was very very hot and spicy, they should mention it on the menu or servers should mention it.

A really awesome experience at this rooftop bar on Saturday evening. The drinks were superb (vodka martini, espresso martini, margaritas), and the food was good too. Only downside was the portion sizes were not the biggest for the ‘main courses’, but still tasted really good. It is on the pricier side of restaurants, but is worth it for a good date night.

Food was great, drinks were great. Even the small plates are well portioned. The drinks are expensive tho (: I had the fried cauliflower and a baoon the side. Everything tasted perfect. Both plates were 10/10. Would recommend. Staff are chill, connected humans. Attentive staff.

Because of the Superbowl, it was a quiet night which was fantastic. Staff was very welcoming and pleasant. The vibes were great. Some items on the menu were not available but the portions were pretty big. Great place to hang out with friends. I will come back again.

Food is very flavorful. Cocktails are imaginative and delicious. The rooftop is gorgeous both outside and the interior design. The servers are very friendly and they're also quick. Recommend to anyone who can afford it.

One of my favorite places in the city. An incredible view. Great cocktails and a decent menu. A solid place to catch up with friends or impress a guest.

Gr8 place Amazing food Service was just OK

Booked a few weeks ago for Christmas. They phoned to change the reservation due to COVID, which we were fine with. Christmas eve day I received notice our reservation had been cancelled, yet it had been booked by 5 other people today. Couldn't even call us to explain and had no way of calling them. Left us last minute to make arrangements for Christmas to eat. Restaurants ask us to support them during this difficult time, but then they treat people like this. Really rotten of them.

Great food, great view but I was disappointed that after making reservation on OpenTable three weeks earlier and asking for a table with a view for a celebration, we were stuffed in a table by the door right under a heater. Why even bother with the request section. And the host seemed like we inconvenienced him when we asked for a table not being blasted by a heater.

Great tacos, beautiful dining room. Went for the patio, but was happy to sit inside with the air conditioning. Friendly staff & good food, zero complaints.

We were staying at the Broadview Hotel for a wedding, and I stopped in at the rooftop twice during our stay - once for a before bed cocktail and snack, and once between photos and ceremony for the wedding! The Bao buns are DELICIOUS and we’re the perfect snack size for tiding me over between pre wedding and reception. Two thumbs up for both of the cocktails I had.

We lucked out on the table, we had an amazing view on the city. The place is nicely decorated as well, clean bathrooms. Their drinks are pretty good too! Our waitress was on point, always making sure we had water on the table and alcohol.

This place improved significantly from my last visit in 2019...last time menu was lacking veg options this time there were plenty.. Good hospitality..we had reservation for 0730pm but we ended up reaching early and they still got us in...good cocktail menu..cocktails were balanced.. Food was great as well.. Service was fantastic in the beginning but got lousy as it got busy.. Overall good experience..
