I’ve been to Joey’s a couple times, and I honestly always have a good dining experience here. The environment is nice and the servers are always super warm and friendly. The last time I came, everyone received sparkling wine to sip while we waited for our tables. Such a nice touch! In my opinion, Joey’s has the best food amongst all the chain restaurants that sit at this price point (Earl’s, Milestones, Jack Astors, etc.). They do this crispy mashed potato side that’s out of this world (basically mashed potatoes in a spring roll with bacon, sour cream and onion on top - so so good!). They’re also really consistent with the quality of their dishes. All in all, no complaints about Joey’s! Come here if you’re looking for a good meal, great service, and a pleasant ambience.

One of our friends recommended this restaurant during our visit. Everything was great. Staff are very friendly and polite. The atmosphere was relaxing, although it was a bit dark inside. The food was amazing. Everything was fresh and tasty. The restroom was one of the funniest I’ve seen. The restroom is a bit far compared to other restaurant and they found a way to make it funny. Even though I might have been a bit scared to go there by myself.

I ordered a steak that was cooked medium well. It was tender and the jus was just lovely. It was my first time to taste crispy mashed potatoes. So delightful! The bill was almost 3 digits, and that’s without drinks. Oh, well. I deserve a treat now and then as I’m almost always fasting. I took pics of what my work colleagues ordered and am sharing them here. Great ambiance, great service. No complaints here.

I visited during their happy hour. Trying happy hour menu has become my new routine, and Joey's has become my favorite place for it. They are open until 2am so you can have a nice steak for a late night snack! My favorite dish is the fries, both the potato and yam. They are super crispy and savory ❤️❤️ The sangria and peach bellini are the best deal, as they are only $7-7.50!

Highly recommend! We ordered their peppercorn steak, butcher sandwich, and apple pie with maple icecream. The beef in the sandwich was very juicy and the bun was nice and crispy. The horseradish and the seasalt really brings out the flavor. I personally like the sandwich without their dipping sauce. Their steak was well made and the plating was appealing. Their apple pie was on the sweeter side but it was still delicious 😋

Service and atmosphere here are usually pretty solid. I will say I think the quality of the food has taken a hit. They made changes to the tuna poke bowl that are a pretty clear cost cutting measure - replacing the avocado with some sort of crunchy filling. It's also not cheap either at $21 even during happy hour. Despite that this is still a nice place to hang out after work, so overall the experience is pretty good.

Joey’s is a really well located but always busy restaurant regardless of the day of the week. I recommend trying to come in during their late night happy hours during the weekdays! Summary of my most recent experience below. . Appetizers: Truffle Fries were awesome - the sauce that comes with it is absolutely bomb! The nachos and guacamole were really good but I wish the portion size was slightly bigger. Same goes for the fried cauliflower, amazing but just wish there was more! The hummus was really fluffy and the taziki sauce around it was super nice. Mains: Steak & Sushi - My friend said it was amazing and is going to be his go to dish at this restaurant. I got the blackened chicken that was very well balanced and although slightly pricey is worth it. The fried chicken sandwich is probably your best value for money main course at Joey’s and would definitely recommend getting that if you’re not trying to splurge. Is very filling and good quality. Another friend of mine got the fish and rice dish that was nice too but I would recommend the other 3 mains over this. Cocktails: Overall the cocktails are really good but I wish they had more alcohol in them. They taste nice but don’t seem to have alot of alcohol content. The margarita and Moscow mule were my favourites. The margarita has egg white in it so if some of you don’t like the smell of it, be careful. The peach Bellini was so tasty as well but again, just couldn’t taste much alcohol. Service: We had the nicest waitress who was well experienced and was very attentive to our requests.

I was craving Indian food for sometime and then found out they served Chicken butter with Naan…. Y. U. M. M. Y. So good! 🍗 🧈 🍚 Their Sirloin steak was perfectly cooked. Nice exterior seating area. ☂

I think this place is one of the best ones in the area for a really great lunch at a really great price. I loved my guacamole and the Bellini. I also love seeing happy hours at decent times. I should come by more often.

Very delicious food and atmosphere. We ordered rose, hand pressed burger, poke bowl and kids menu red pasta. Everything was very delicious and juicy. I'm so full. The wait was decent on a Friday night.

🦋We had a delightful experience at Joey restaurant in Eaton Centre. The service was exceptional, with friendly and personable staff. Our server, Meaghan, was particularly outstanding, creating a happy and conversational atmosphere. 🦋The food was great. The sliders were yummy and perfectly portioned, while the crispy tofu bowl was delicious and served at the perfect temperature. 🦋However, the star of the show was the corn guacamole dip—undeniably the best among the three dishes. The guacamole was tastier than regular guacamole, and the pita chips were cooked golden, providing a perfect pairing. 🦋Overall, a satisfying dining experience. We would like to thank Joey, its location being right beside the Eaton Centre, the staff and Meaghan for being absolutely outstanding. 🦋Our experience was fulfilling and it reminded us that true happiness is in the moment. This is our experience, what’s yours? ❤️🦋

Visited on a Thurs was quite busy and you are greeted with an offer of sparkling wine nice touch. Service is impeccable. Madelaine our waitress was wonderful, friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. My tacos were 😋 Wings also were delicious! Have to say though portions are quite small for the price tag. Overall great place to stop by after work with friends and have a good time.

Joey's has honestly never left me disappointed after any meal. Whether it be the mains, the salads, or the dessert - the taste is amazing and the presentation is also very visually pleasing. The only reason I'm not rating this place 5 stars is I wish there were more options for those with dietary restrictions (for vegans, vegetarians, dairy/ gluten allergy, etc.).

I come into this place to deliver food orders for customers. It's a very nice facility with a pub and waiter service. A couple of times. Had to make a trip to the washroom. The staff were actually glad to make their washroom available to me. So. While heading to the washroom. I quickly noticed the food that's served to the dine-in customers. Can imagine once delivering the order how happy the customers get once they received their ordered food ☺️ Well. Haven't really eaten there yet. But probably one day. Hearing how great the food selections are. That day would come eventually 😋👍🏼

I was having a bad birthday, had a long presentation at university. So, my spouse decided to have lunch here. My day just took a 360 turn. So awesome!! I forgot to ask the name of waitress, she was a delight. The food was perfect. I did not get to have this good of hummus in long long time. My steak and ravioli bianco was so awesome, I finished the whole dish (Note: I am very picky eater, my husband often has to finish mine). Their cocktails are good too.

I like this location. Pretty open with a nice interior. Great for business meetings, casual get togethers and even dates. Steak was cooked to perfection and their crispy mashed potatoes where delicious. Asparagus was little uncooked but overall a great meal topped with delicious chocolate lava cake and very rich and flavourful cheesecake. One of my to go to places close to my office and I strongly recommend you give them a shot Check the photos!

I got the ribeye steak and it wasn’t the best cut, but it was cooked properly which is starting to become rare to receive for steak. Asparagus was undercooked but still enjoyable thanks to whatever sauce they had on it. Chips and guacamole were one of my favourites, on the sweet and spicy side, and would definitely get again. Our server was amazing as well so it was an enjoyable dinner overall!

Starting with quality of the food and drinks, that was pretty good and the atmosphere of this restaurant is really nice although it’s slightly loud. They gave us a really nice stable for a large group of 20 people, which was super nice. When it comes to service, it was really slow, ether because they were super busy or they were understaffed. One small detail at the very end we had no option to choose how much we wanted to tip so they automatically pressed Tip without consulting us.

Being right beside the Eaton centre at the Yonge and dundas side has some perks, being high customer flow. However we still managed to find a seat without reservation as the location is quite large and very accommodating. The staff followed standard COVID procedures(a qr code of vaccination is required) and they were very kind and professional. The gyoza was good but nothing really special, at its price I wouldn't really recommend it for its taste but more so as a starter to share. The chicken parmesan was incredible and lasted maybe 4 minutes after I took the photo, so that is a definite recommendation. Then finally we had the Mediterranean bowl which was an assortment of ingredients but still very delicious. Of the mixed drinks we got, the highlights were the sangria and peach Bellini. Overall it was a great experience and I would say it's more on the pricier side in terms of cost (20$+) but still I would recommend this for a classy sit down dinner or with a large group of friends.

This is a great place to hangout and enjoy some great comfort food. It is priced reasonably, and the service has always been amazing. The happy hour is an absolute bargain without compromising on the quality. Some of my favorite and recommended foods are: Blackened Chicken, Steak & Sushi, Steak & Lobster Ravioli, Butter Chicken. One downside is that it can get busy really quick resulting in longer wait times. Keep that in mind if coming over the weekend/holiday.

Joey's is always a pleasant experience. The atmosphere is very inviting, the staff are friendly, and the food is always great tasting and well prepared. I have tried a few dishes and they do not disappoint, this is a place where I am not afraid to try something new or unfamiliar because I trust that it will be a quality dish.

Lovely environment to eat in or out of. After some shopping in the area sitting in a quiet, comfortable restaurant right beside the Eaton centre is always nice and here you get all of the above! The food comes in a timely manner, servers are fantastic/easy to talk to and of course the food is fantastic with a good price to them. I felt very comfortable with the indoor dining here, having good distance from others dining and good air flow having a very relaxing environment. I like the variety of food on the menu and whether we are talking before or during the pandemic, this place always has people coming in and enjoying the food. I've passed by more times than I can count over the years and I am happy I finally went! I definitely plan on going back when I am in the area next.

I recently dined at Joey's Dundas and had an outstanding experience. I ordered the California chicken burger and butter chicken with rice and pappad, both of which were delicious. However, What truly stood out was the impeccable service provided by Meaghan, my waiter. She consistently checked in, ensuring I was doing well and inquiring about my satisfaction with the food. Meaghan's warmth and hospitality enhanced my overall dining experience. Her welcoming demeanor, constant smile, and genuine concern for my enjoyment made the meal memorable. It's not just the tasty dishes that make a restaurant remarkable, but the exceptional service, and Meaghan truly excelled in this aspect. I highly recommend Joey's Dundas for not only their delectable menu but also for the top-notch hospitality provided by their wonderful staff, especially Meaghan. I look forward to returning for another delightful dining experience.

Tuna Poke Bowl is very good. Steak is good but expect a bit better at this price. Not too crowded at lunch. A bit chilly sitting by the window in the winter. Male waiter has a warm smile.

Enjoyed dining at Joey Eaton Center. Food was good but it didn’t come across as memorable. The grilled chicken was burnt to coal in some places (that possibly gave a bit of a tummy pain later) I’m still giving a five star as the ambience was clean, spacious, beautiful and pleasant, and the waiters were very friendly. Timely service added to the positive experience. The bar seating area looked lovely. The guys at the front desk were very cordial too.

A bit mean to mark down a star for service as overall was 99% excellent. Our server suggested we look at deserts and mentioned tea and coffee but didn't come back to take orders, and then we got past it.. otherwise friendly and helpful staff. I wanted a vegan option and was pleased with my choices. My companion wanted a healthier choice than the (delicious) burgers from the previous day and wasn't disappointed. Wine was also good and we received a complimentary glass of bubbly while waiting for our table which is a really nice touch. Would strongly recommend.

Nice restaurant in downtown. Ordered cod, steak and lobster. The fish and steak are pretty good. Like the peanut curry sauce. Only the lobster looks like a baby and was not fresh enough...the Nice part is the manager removed it from our bill. Very good service.

The food at Joey was one of my favorites so far. I ordered the shrimp curry and my husband ordered a burger; both were rich in flavor and very filling. The outside ambiance is perfect to get away from the heat because there’s a lot of shade, which we loved too. The only think that would’ve made this experience perfect would’ve been if the service wasn’t as slow, but it might have been a bad day for them. I’m so glad I found this place!

  • 5/5 Mohammad H. 7 months ago on Google
I'm wondering how it is not 5 stars! Our experience was overwhelmingly fantastic! Our order contained Classic Steak and Farmer Market salad with an apple pie as dessert. The taste of the food was perfect. I am not a foodie person at all, and I eat when I am hungry, but this experience has the potential to make me foodie only there! I don't go to restaurants often and do not pay much there, but here, it was totally worth it.

  • 4/5 Joyce Q. 7 months ago on Google
Been there a few times for work lunches, they are usually able to accommodate larger groups. I really like their steak and ravioli! It exceeded my expectations. Their burgers are a decent size, I often get the California chicken with yam fries (+$4.5) to go with it. Chicken can be dry. I’ve also tried their poke bowl - I’m not the biggest fan of the bowl or the small proportion.

Pleasant Date Night Experience at Joey's Eaton Centre My boyfriend and I decided to try out Joey's for our date night, and we were pleasantly surprised by our experience. Despite not having a reservation, the staff promptly seated us within 2 minutes, which was a great start to the evening. The menu offered a variety of options, and my boyfriend opted for the Mediterranean plate. He thoroughly enjoyed the dish, noting that it was nice and fresh. As for me, I went with my go-to favourite, the butter chicken. It was as delicious as ever, reaffirming why it's my favourite choice at Joey's. The highlight of the night was definitely the Mediterranean plate, and I'm already planning to order it for myself on our next visit because it was simply outstanding. While the service was decent initially, it became a bit forgetful as the restaurant got busier. Our waiter seemed to have overlooked our bill, causing a minor inconvenience. Despite this hiccup, the overall ambiance and quality of the food made up for the lapse in service. In summary, our experience at Joey's Eaton Centre was enjoyable, and we left satisfied with the food. I would recommend giving this place a try. We'll be back, and hopefully, the service will be as exceptional as the food on our next visit.

First time dining at this location on Saturday and it was wonderful! We sat at the bar and the food was delicious. (the Peach Bellini?? I came in because it was in the area and was super hungry. I had the happy hour sushi cone which I can understand why its only $7 (skip it.) I went with the steak + sushi as my meal and was pleasantly surprised by how good the roll was. I don't prefer cooked rolls but this one pleasantly surprised me and while I didn't love the cut of the steak, the sauce on it was tasty.

McKinley, Josie, and Teresa truly made this Halloween memorable! Their outstanding performance sets the bar high, and honestly, all three deserve a raise. The banter and attentiveness added so much to our night, and coupled with the incredible food, it was a fantastic experience. The complimentary drinks were a thoughtful touch, making this Joey’s location my absolute favorite by far!

Very nice place with a pleasant atmosphere. It gets quite busy in the evening as everyone rushes in for after work drinks and bites and that’s actually what i liked about this place. They do have happy hour menu where you get special Discount on food and drinks. We have tried burger sliders, sweet fries, sushi and a salad. Out of all this i would say only sushi was so so and the rest was really good.

i’ve always loved joey’s house salad; it would always be the highlight of my meal. it seems as though they’ve changed the recipe recently because i paid 18$ for whatever … this was. i couldn’t even finish it. and i love salad! i feel sad leaving a bad review because i do generally like their food but the salad downgrade was so disappointing and makes me worry about what else they’ve changed. 4 stars for the service, the hostess/waitress were super kind. i just wish they had told me about the change. but i can only give 1 star for the salad, would give less if i could considering the price point. i also wish they included the ingredients for the house salad on their site (i did check beforehand!) - maybe then i would’ve seen the recipe changed and saved myself some money and time. if any staff member sees this please send me the old recipe so i can make it myself 🙏🏽

Came here around 6 pm on a Friday night and was seated immediately indoors. Before being seated we were asked to scan a QR code and give our phone number and name. We got an incredibly spacious booth for two which was really nice. I ordered the steak and lobster ravioli and was pretty disappointed with the portion of having just 4 pieces of ravioli. Although it tasted wonderful it kept me with wanting more. Even having 6-8 pieces would be nice. The crispy chicken sandwich which I got to try some was incredibly delicious. It had a perfect mixture of sweet salty and sour combination I honestly wish I ordered the sandwich or a burger instead. The fries were a little too thin for my liking. Since I was still hungry from the steak and lobster ravioli I helped my friend finish their fries. Overall it was a really nice meal and a good time to eat back in person. However portions could be a little better! Definitely will return as the food was super delicious.

Conveniently located near Yonge-Dundas (Dundas Square), Joey has a great indoor ambience and has patios as well. Its a bit pricey, but I got a Steak with peppercorn sauce to check their high end main course. The steak was quite good, but the peppercorn sauce was ho-hum. The potato crunchies were pretty awesome and the waitress mentioned its their signature style. Go for the amazing food and ambience.

Didn't have to wait very long to get a table outside. I found the hostess very rude and disorganized and they got mad at patrons for asking questions. The food was very good love my appetizer of hummus and my main lobster and shrimp ravioli. The drinks were so so, thanks Starbucks with tons of ice and very little product within. The food was priced good but the drinks should definitely be less it's ridiculous to pay $13 for a cup of ice

Tasty and some interesting high-end ingredients and menu items. Kind of a fancy place, but people were dressed casually as well. Only down side was the apps menu was lacking imo. Also the portions were quite small. The plating was very pretty. You need to eat an app, a main and desert to get a full meal. It's a bit pricey of a place to eat for this reason. The food was very good. In comparison I felt the meal we had at Hendrick's the previous day was better tasting and value, but Joey's for sure has a nicer atmosphere.

The ambience and music is great not too loud and a good mix of genre. The food was delicious from small bites to main course. The staff is friendly and understanding. One thing I didn’t like was we had a lot of wait time since getting seated, maybe it was Friday night + CoVid but it took 10 min for someone to bring water since seated and another 10-15 to take our order. We wanted to try the Tandoori chicken flatbread but they no longer serve that.

Joeys has a great ambiance for anyone looking to have a nice business meeting, to celebrate something, or to just have a nice time out. There was a very short line when we arrived at Joeys around 2pm on a Thursday. We gave our vaccine info and IDs upon entry. The 5 of us were seated upstairs at a nice table overlooking the bar and lower level. Our waitress (I think her name was Monique? She worked the 2nd floor bar on Dec 9th) was absolutely phenomenal. She was extremely friendly, casual but also professional, and really just connected with you in no time at all. She gave excellent and practical recommendations to us for food choices as well as made sure to check on us with her fun and upbeat attitude. Overall the food was great. We each tried something different and the recommendations she gave were some of our favourites. Really glad to have visited and I truly hope that the waitress we had will be there next time I visit.

We recently had the pleasure of dining at Joey Eaton Centre and it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. The restaurant's trendy ambiance and friendly staff immediately set a welcoming tone. The menu offered a diverse range of dishes, each beautifully presented and bursting with flavor. We opted for the Tofu Crispy Bowl, Tuna Salad, Lava Cake and was blown away by the perfect balance of ingredients and creative flavor combinations. The attention to detail in both the food and the service truly impressed me. MADELYN was very pleasant, attentive and knowledgeable. Whether you're looking for a casual lunch, a romantic dinner, or a place to celebrate a special occasion, Joey Eaton Centre ticks all the boxes. I can't wait to return and explore more of their enticing menu.

It's my first time eating at this place and I wasn't disappointed. I heard about the reviews of this place and it sounded pretty good. It was my friend's birthday and without asking we received complementary champagne. For starters, we ordered the Korean fried cauliflower which had a unique crunch and a delicious tangy, sweet sauce. Also we had 2 crab cakes with shredded apple slices as a side salad to share. For the mains, we had the tuna rolls and slices of steak with ponzu sauce for two and I ordered the Joey classic steak with asparagus, and it came with mashed potatoes stuffed into two deep fried spring rolls sprinkled with cheese. The one thing that made it special was the person who was serving us, as she was immaculately great at making us feel welcomed and her interaction with us was always informative. Unfortunately I didn't get her name as I wanted to thank her as she gave a complimentary birthday cake with raspberries and ice cream. Although slightly pricey, but overall a great delicious experience and would definitely go back again.

I deducted one star, I visited there twice, first time, they took a long while to bring the food, and cocktails, so for almost 30 40m we sat there with just water. 2nd time, the wings were not good, it was as if they weren't toss in the hot sauce rather than a bowl of hot sauce was poured on top of it. The pasta was nice. But they took around 40 45m to bring the pasta, wings and chips with guacamole. so basically the appetizers came with the main dish.

I can find no fault. We ordered our meal through DoorDash and enjoyed every bit. The steak was juicy and perfectly cooked- even after a 20 minute drive. The fries were a bit salty, but still yummy. The salad was a bit cheap, but I didn’t order steak for the salad. He loved his tuna sushi app and ate it before I could snap a good pic (sorry). The Brulee cheesecake is really quite good! It comes deconstructed when ordered online, but that did not take away from its near perfection. We felt the prices were high for a middle of the road chain restaurant.

We went for drinks, which were pretty and tasted really good! Their paper straws were pretty useless though and collapsed in on itself within 5 minutes. Our server, Acadia, was amazing and super sweet and attentive. Also got the creme brulee cheesecake for dessert which was perfect for sharing between two people!

MY 1st time dining here and it’s a wonderful experience! Lovely place to be after some shopping around the area. Tasty foods and friendly staffs! Huge selections of delicious food & drinks on the menu. Dining with a view of Dundas Street! Love it.

The customer service and restaurant vibe was amazing! The amount of tuna on the Tuna Poke Bowl can be increased but nonetheless tasted good. The Truffle Parmesan fries were very delicious.

Came here for a group event and had the tuna salad - the tuna was cooked perfectly rare! It was a bit meagre in portion size. The salad portion was well done - there was good texture in it and the dressing was light and flavourful. I also had their donuts and was pleasantly surprised! They were fluffy and the sugar coating was not too sweet. Def a good dessert option. I had the watermelon drink (alcoholic) and i thought it was ok… have had better cocktails. Overall, I enjoyed the food there!

Excellent all around. Food, service, atmosphere was all very good. Prices are typical. No sticker shock. Only complaint is the washrooms. Down 2 flights of stairs and around a corner, down a long hallway. There signs making light of the long journey, but not funny. Way too far, but I guess you can't fix that now. I'm not sure if there are handicap washrooms. But, will use that next time!
