Such an excellent experience here, flavours were well rounded and impactful. The sushi melted in your mouth and the flavours melded perfectly. Our waitress also made a very good recommendation for a sake to try. I can't remember the name but it went well with the meal.

My boyfriend took me here for our anniversary which happens to be the day before Valentine’s Day so we chose to go with the tasting menu. The service is amazing and attentive. The server knew her sake and wines as well as the food palette really well. The food was good but a bit on the pricier side for this type. Going to a Omakase might be more worth for the same price range.

I was here to celebrate my birthday. We had the taster menu. The food was good even tough I am not a person who eats fish too often I loved the fact that it was easy for me to enjoy with all of them. The waiters were so attentive, I never felt disturbed even though there was information for even food and drink, everything was so balanced. We had 5-6 drinks I do not even remember which was really enjoyable. We really had a great night. Thank you .

I'm glad Maps recognized I love torched sushi and recommended this place. Freshness and quality all around paired with interesting cocktails. Reasonable price. The patio was closed probably due to the frigid weather but will come back for an after office. We shared The Chef select menu but should have gotten one each. The Molten Valrhona chocolate cake was delicious and the cheesecake and Opera were also great.

Awesome service from our waiter, he knew his menu very well. The overall service was a little slow but livable. My only issue was when we got there 15min earlier than our reservation, I asked if we could sit at the bar for a drink while they prepared our table, and the host told us it was packed and to wait outside. When our table was ready, I realized that the bar was empty; a little disappointed, let's say.

One of the best Sushi experience you'll have. From the service to the food, everything was simply superb. They were also able to make us shrimp tempura and udon (from the lunch menu) even though we were here for dinner. Not many places will allow you to order off menu, so this was definetly the cherry on top!

Sushi was just ok. I expected more, especially given how expensive it was. Our waitress was very nice and knowledgeable. Ambience felt very corporate and cold. I’m also docking a star because of this two-hour limit rule. I absolutely hate this rule. If I’m a paying customer and would like to order more drinks or dessert, I shouldn’t be kicked out because my time is up.

    - Food: We took a full menu. The sushi starters were delicious and interesting but not exceptional. The main (fish) is below average for a restaurant in this price range. I really liked the dessert. - Service: the service was a bit too fast to my taste and the waiters didn’t have a great knowledge of what they were serving - Setting: this was the most disappointing point and the reason for 3 stars rating; we were invaded by mosquitoes although we were seated inside an air conditioned restaurant. This was extremely annoying.

This is one of the best Japanese restaurants I’ve tried. The sea food is so fresh and tasty. The portions are small compared to the price. But that might be because of how tasty the food was that we wanted more of it. They have amazing drinks and desserts. We have visited multiple times and each time, we had to try to dessert. The staffs are also very friendly and polite. Overall, we had great experience each time.

Miku truly sets the standard for sushi dining in Toronto. From the moment you walk in, you're greeted with a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The sushi here is exceptional - fresh, innovative, and prepared with the utmost care and skill. The Japanese crispy chicken and Aburi Signature sushi were standout. The service is impeccable, making you feel like a valued guest throughout your meal. Miku is the perfect place for anyone seeking an authentic and luxurious sushi experience.

Beautiful place. More beautiful food. Even better tasting food. Very different yet familiar style of sushi. Beef and duck were amazing and the presentation was next level. On top of all of this the servers were knowledgeable and very attentive to detail.

Located downtown Toronto in a nice building. Stop by for a small lunch and had a good experience. The lunch menu didn’t have a great selection but food was good and service was wonderful. I had the dinner at the Miku in Vancouver and that was a 5 star meal so will try dinner here next time.

One if not the best sushi places in the city. We tried the Chef's selection option for lunch and were not disappointed. The torched flavouring is unreal! Everything was super fresh and delicious. I would highly recommend trying

We went to Miku for a friend's birthday and it was amazing! The sushi and sashimi was very fresh and flavourful. The presentation of each dish was amazing. It was much more filling than expected. The restaurant is nicely decorated and very clean. The staff were attentive and described each dish prior to eating each course. Definitely recommend trying this restaurant.

Miku is a classic for mid-upper end Japanese dining in Toronto. Highly recommend their Brussel sprouts, which come with thick cuts of crispy bacon. They’re one of the first places in Toronto to do aburi sushi and still one of the best.

Sushi was great as usual! The toro tasted just like the ones I had in Japan. Beef melts in your mouth and came with the right sauce and side dishes. Definitely a must-try in Toronto. Also great patio ambience with the right social distancing policies in place!

Exceptional! When we tried the sashimi plate, it was a moment of realization that we haven’t had the best of best quality fishes for such a long time although we eat sushi quite often. You can taste the difference from first bite! Worth every bits! The ambiance in the patio is elegant and the heater kept us warm. The service was amazing - everyone was very friendly and we had a great conversation. By far the best Japanese restaurant in Toronto.

Changed from 4 to 5 star, went here recently and the food and drinks were phenomenal! It's a much better culinary experience to try non-sushi dishes. Service was wonderful. I also found Miku takeout sushi at Fresh and Wild on King St, I bought it and it was damn good! That just shows how good the quality is!

Truly an upscale sushi place, probably the most expensive I’ve ever been to, but the price, style, decor, taste and service all show why it is amongst the best in the city. The flame seared sushi is to die for, however I’d say their menu options are fairly limited. Perhaps introducing more menu options would make for a more inclusive dining experience. Also, due to COVID we had to eat outside in the patio, but they have heaters out, so it really wasn’t that bad.

Anytime I crave Japanese, Miku is top of mind! The Aburi dishes are out of this world. The quality is fish is incredible and the service is always top notch. It’s always great to see familiar faces since the day they opened - this says a lot about management. Will always continue to return

I first tried Miku in Vancouver and fell in love, when I found out that Toronto also had a location, I knew I had to try. I have to say, it's not as good as the Vancouver location, also doesn't have the views like Vancouver either. [Ebi Fritters] - These battered prawns, were an amazing appetizer with a delicious creamy sweet aioli. [Salmon Oshi Sushi] - The main reason to visit Miku. These are simple so amazing, I am usually a huge fan of dipping my sushi into soy sauce but these guys do not need any dipping. They just melt in your mouth and it's so fresh and flavourful. [Green Tea Opera] - Not picture, and I also haven't tried the one here in Toronto but the one is vancouver was amazing! Overall, the toronto location is still good, I would still recommend it, but if you're ever in Vancouver I highly highly recommend. you make a trip to MIKU YVR and reserve a seat along the window for the amazing view. Makes for a perfect date night spot or celebration.

Had the set meal for my birthday with sake, and it was incredible. The service was so wonderful and the food was exquisite. Definitely going back for the regular menu and will be splurging on the set meal for a special occasion for sure. The dessert was a real highlight--it was yuzu mango and I've never had anything more enjoyable.

Thank you for making my friend's 30th birthday extra special. We decided to dine in at Miku because my friends haven't been to Miku and I keep telling them how they are missing out. And of course Miku didn't disappoint. The quality of the food and the service was elite. We ordered few appetizers, aburi oshi sampler and the real highlight was the dessert. We ordered all 4 desserts. My favourite? The chocolate fondant 🥰😋

The ambience is nice, food was good and server was friendly but it took over 40 minutes to get us the bill. I really loved the fish and beef entrees that we ordered and shared. They were super delicious and worth a try. But for a pricier sushi restaurant I found that the sushi just wasn’t that amazing. The green tea dessert sounded really good but it ended up tasting okay.

Enjoyable place for fine Japanese food. I personally expected a true sushi place with big maki rolls, but that wasn't it. Besides that, all was quite tasty (4 out of 5 stars) and amazingly prepared. All recommended specialties were also pretty good but smallish for my purpose))). In the end we had the chovolate mousse however it was more like a smooth cream rather being airy. I believe it is a place to sit and enjoy culinary treats and fabulous-fabulous service, so I'd recommend it for all special occasions!

Probably one of the best Japanese spots in Toronto. The service is also next level. We had the Kale Goma-ae and Japanese Crispy Chicken, the latter was so good and different. My favorite was Wagyu Carpaccio, the flavors are so delicate and good. Then we got some Rolls- Miku Rolls and Aburi Sushi.. lastly we also tried the Otoro, Hotate. Hamachi and Kanpachi nigiri. I would recommend all of them.

I must say the atmosphere is abysmal. There is no dress code whatsoever; people in flip-flops and sports attire, club R&B bashing in the background. I got Miku tasting menu with wine pairing. The wine pairing was good. The sashimi/sushi parts of the dinner were excellent. Summer hassun and sea courses were mediocre at the best. Good Land(wagyu) and desert courses. Timing between courses is off too. You can wait 20 minutes for a course and then next one will be served within 5 minutes. Service was outstanding. This is the main reason why this is a 4* star review instead of 3*.

The best aburi sushi place in Toronto. I’ve been going here for years and it’s finally the time to review. Always consistent & delivers what’s expected. Service is always adequate. Not too much, not too less. Clean and modern interior. Spacious. Adequate noise level. A great date spot or a hangout with friends spot. Love their oshi sushi and a la carte sushi. Good quality.

Not only does this restaurant have some amazing cocktails and food (I got the Oishii and a lot of Aburi Oshi Sushi) but we got some wonderful service from Nael/Niall. He was extremely helpful with recommendations when picking what to eat/drink and was very attentive to our table. You’ll be spending more than $100 per person if you want a satisfying meal but the service and the food made it worth the price!

Great service, amazing food! Tried their winterlicious menu, the sushi was very fresh and delicious. Almost melted in my mouth. Further, team was very accommodative. I went to dine with my friend who’s highly allergic to nuts. The team was very kind and updated the menu to make sure that he doesn’t get in any contact with nuts. Highly recommend this meal.

We came from Calgary to visit some friends and this is our first time here. I would say it’s not authentic Japanese food but it’s kind of combine some other style. The AAA beef is tender and perfectly cooked but the sauce is too thick and salty. Overall good ambience and worth the visit

My favorites are the Aburi salmon oshi sushi, seafood soba and green tea opera! The roll is also great with a rich flavor. Fried chicken and wagyu carpaccio are ok, the seasoned vegetable under the wagyu is a bit too strong for me. Will definitely come back just for the salmon oshi sushi and dessert!

Amazing experience. From the food to the atmosphere to the service. Love the large outdoor patio now as well to accommodate covid restrictions safely. We got 2 of the aburi tasting menus. Not disappointed! Pricey but well worth it for a special occasion.

To start we had the Miku roll, which was fantastic. Overall we had an excellent culinary experience. The Miku tasting menu was delicious, and progresses nicely with the flavours and textures through the courses. Our favourite was the sushi (course 4). Flavours were distinct, and textures complimented the flavours really well. We got surprised by flavours on more than one dish. To finish the passion fruit sorbet with mango cremeux was a phenomenal way to end the meal. Service was excellent. Would definitely go back.

Really cool and great restaurant, although VERY pricey and expensive. But the quality of the food stands for the price you pay. They serve very elegant japanese food that tastes exquisite and amazing. Although, they are usually very busy as this is a great restaurant to eat at, so I highly recommend that you book a reservation beforehand or else you will have to seat at the bar, which I had to do. Otherwise, staff are friendly and nice, and the overall restaurant has a modern and classy vibe.

Food tastes amazing. The servers were really nice and friendly. Helped with recommendations for different wines and sakes. Tables were apart from each other for social distancing inside and on the patio. They are famous for their course meals that are definitely on the pricier side ($100-200 depending on the selection). We just got different appetizers and entrees to share, and they were all great choices. Spicy soba, calamari, aburi sushi (torched, recommend the salmon and shrimp, but they also have mackerel and a sampler to try all 3), and the beef entrees were amazing (got the short ribs and tenderloin). The beef literally melts in your mouth. And to top it all off with dessert (vanilla bean cheesecake and strawberry mochi). Great atmosphere for a night out with friends or a birthday celebration.

Miku is one of my favourite sushi places in Toronto -- both the service and food are incredibly delicious and consistent. The fish is wonderfully fresh, especially their famous Oshi sushi (torched). Even their veggie option (garden select) is unique and flavourful.

The food was great. We ordered the aburi course, and it was good. However, we are absolutely not happy about the way our waitress treated us at the very end after we paid. We got 230 dollars worth of food, and we paid 21 dollars of tip. I acknowledge that it probably isnt a lot of tip, but at the same time I dont think that is an unreasonably low tip. But she was very uncomfortable about the amount and left with the bill without saying anything almost ignoring us completely. Even if she probably expected more than 10 percent, i would not expect to be ignored by the waitress as soon as we pay 260 dollars in a restaurant. I dont think i will ever go again even though the food was great.

The one experience I had at this restaurant wasn't the best. I stopped by one day and decided to order some takeout and got a bento box which seemed like it had a decent amount of food in it. when I finally got the bento it was much smaller than I expected. now you may say quality over quantity, but it was 90% rice and the last ten percent consisted of bland beef and a total of 5 vegetables. I'm sure this location is known for its sushi rather than bentos, although I wouldn't suggest ordering anything other than sushi from here as from my experience it seems overpriced for the kind of food you get.

Oh Miku. Where do I start. We found Miku about 4yrs ago during our first trip to Toronto together and we've been in love ever since. From the food to the ambiance & decor to the incredible service from staff, we couldn't be more impressed. From our visit to our most recent visit last month, we've been treated like VIPs. Staff are so friendly & knowledgeable and the food is out of this world. I gotta say, this is one restaurant that hasn't skimped on their quality throughout the years. I always look forward to reservations at Miku whenever we're in town.

It’s a great fusion sushi spot with good quality of fish and nicely done aburi. Don’t expect it to be traditional because that’s not what this place is about. I usually don’t really eat fusion sushi but I liked that the punch was subtle - hints of jalapeños, yuzu and miso here and there. We dined outside in the patio earlier this month and I must warn people that the patio heaters they have didn’t do much. Bundle up if you are heading there for dining in their patio space during the pandemic dine-in ban. Staff was really great and made the experience pleasant, so five stars!

Excellent sushi sampler, every bite as flavorful and unique as an omakase experience 🍣 It was hard to hear the descriptions the hostess pointed out through the mask so I would enjoy it even more if there was a little description card so I could understand and appreciate the unique tastes we had... as such I can only tell you "the center sushi piece" was our highlight! Can't wait to come back. Wonderful service from hostess and server. Note- they said they do take out for lunch always but often stop doing take out when they get busy at dinner. We were originally going to do take out but because they stopped doing it, we had to dine in. Was still great but we just weren't dressed for the occasion like everyone else that seemed to be on date night 🤷‍♂️😁

Miku is hands down my favourite sushi restaurant in Toronto. The quality of the food and service is elite. We tried different appetizers, but would hands down recommend the Ebi Fritters. Everything else was good, but if you're in a situation where you are to prioritize, highly recommend getting just the Ebi Fritters. The sushi is next level. Highly recommend both the Miku Signature Sushi Selection, as well as the Aburi Oshi Sampler. The Salmon Oshi is always my favourite, and truly never disappoints. I can't wait to come back and try the Sashimi Selection as well. Also, major shout out to the staff, especially our server Kenneth. We did a walk-in and lucked out on a free 1-hour slot. We were seated with the expectation that we would need to eat quickly (I would recommend at least 1.5 hours to enjoy your food in a good pacing), but Kenneth was so accommodating throughout. He made sure we got our food as soon as possible to stick within the 1 hour time frame we had, and was hospitable, knowledgable, and so friendly throughout. 11/10 would recommend.

We got a spread of different sushi platters and some fried goods too. The deep fried ebi fritters is amazing, but the pressed Salmon Oshi sushi was incredible! As for rolls, the red wave roll is a must have. But please do yourself a favour and make sure you don’t leave without trying the Salmon oshi sushi. 👌 Definitely not your local AYCE sushi spot. They got class and quality. Impeccable experience and we can’t WAIT to be back!! The quality of the fish and sushi is incomparable.

Went for dinner on my birthday. Service was great. Decor was lovely. Food was delicious and price while higher than your average sushi place was not unreasonable. Good portion sizes. I was full after miso soup and one roll but managed to finish my second. Nigiri was also very good. Will definitely go again.

Miku is always one of my favorite Japanese restaurant in Toronto.  I used to dine in at least once every 1-2 months.  It is my first time since opening back for dine in.  Things have changed. Before entering, vaccination ID has to be check.  When we got seated, there is no more paper menu, need to scan QR code for menu instead.  We ordered sashimi selection, soba peperoncino, salmon oshi sushi, saba oshi sushi, miku roll, red wave roll, mochi dome and 2 matcha chocolate fondant.  Sashimi is very fresh.  All the other sushi and soba dish are excellent as well.  In fact, the rolls are better than before.  However, the portion of soba seems to be smaller size than before pandemic.  Nothing special on the mochi dome dessert, and a hugh wow factor on the matcha chocolate fondant, so we ordered an extra one.  Miku is still Miku from before the pandemic, the quality is still the same if not better.  Definitely a returning dining place for me and my family.

very disappointing. the hotate and otoro nigiri were fantastic, however the meal overall was not good. my biggest problem is that we ordered the chef’s lunch set which came with a dry croquette and roast beef along with the sushi selection. i really do not think the croquette and beef paired well together with the sushi whatsoever. the beef aroma was so intense that it completely overpowered the sushi and my appetite disappeared. the batter for the ebi fritters was also mushy and disappointing. i’m giving this review based on the price point and expectations for a place like miku. there’s fantastic aburi sushi locations in toronto that i would choose over miku toronto in the future. i greatly prefer the miku waterfront location in vancouver which has a more cohesive, sensible menu with better pairings.

top marks for service, presentation and ambiance. They’re keeping a limited menu right now so not a lot of choice. The sushi is well made, has good flavor and we could taste the flame torch aroma…some of the pieces did break apart though. Don’t understand why they don’t get soy sauce to the table unless one asks the server couple times and then too we were discouraged and told the sushi already has soy…just felt bit stingy. The ebi fritters are good but the heavy batter slides off pretty quickly and your left with a chilled piece of shrimp with no topping. The best items for us were the desserts…dome and fondant. For a restaurant of their league…they do need to maintain quality fixtures and as the picture shows, seeing the bench seat completely worn out with torn cover didn’t leave a good impression.

Miku never disappoints! Incredible food, service and ambiance. Everything is always fresh and delicious. It’s a beautiful space with excellent Sake choices and an impressive wine list. Nicholas Pearce wines are among my favourite and I can always find them here. In the summer the patio is a nice change and if it’s a bit cool the heat lamps will take care of the rest. I highly recommend Miku and we look forward to going back soon.

Had my birthday dinner here with my sister. Can’t say enough how much I love love love this restaurant! They are so far the best Japanese cuisine I’ve ever had in Toronto. Service was great, and the food was excellent. 💯

Miku was an excellent dining experience with highly professional and trained staff and beautiful dining decor. The sushi and aburi was very high quality fish with unique flavour combinations that are not traditionally Japanese but still delicious. The rice was cooked very well and complimented the fish without distracting from it. The only dish that was not amazing was the yuzu cheesecake. Each of the individual 7+ components were delicious on their own, but together they didn't make a very cohesive dessert. The mango in particular was over-powering. Very wheelchair accessible and includes a parking garage in the building with an elevator for easy access if needed.

One of my first true experiences of Sushi in Toronto and couldn't be much happier. Service was exceptional as well as the Sushi. I ordered two of these Aburi Sushi platters for three adults and the Green Tea Opera, highly recommended! Definitley coming back in the near future 🥂

It was a very enjoyable experience. The server was polite and answered any questions we had. Another server stepped us through each of our dishes. I ordered the Aburi Sampler, salmon sashimi, Miku rolls, Green Tea Opera cake, and a coffee cocktail (I forgot the name). Everything was delicious, my favourite being the Green Tea Opera cake. I will definitely be back again :)

Great place to have lunch. The chef’s select was nothing shirt of amazing with a taste of everything on the menu. The places looks great and has amazing service as well. The staff is really well trained and knows the ingredients in and out. I’ve been to the one in vancouver and it has pretty much the same menu. I would recommend it to anyone who enjoys high quality sushi!

The service was great and the waitstaff were very attentive. They waited for everyone to be seated before serving our meals and staggered it so that everybody was eating at similar times. The food was an experience with cool combinations and meal sets. Something unique was that they fried the shrimp head for a nice crunchy snack. The wasabi is a bit strong for my taste, but the overall flavour of the food was excellent.

Such mediocre service. Had to gather the server’s attention twice to finally place our order. Not what you expect when you frequent a fine dining space such as this. We dined on the patio and it was lovely. They had a heater and also offered blanket throws, in case it got chilly - loved that! The food was alright. Aburi Ebi Oshi and Spicy Sesame Edamame were some of the best items on the menu. Rest was okay - nothing to rave about in comparison to other fine dining sushi restaurants in TO, imo.

Good food, extremely attentive staff. We arrived near closing, but we were still served. High quality fish and beef, including A5 Wagyu. Very clean, and selection of alcohol as well. Definitely worth revisiting.

Service was excellent! Food was delicious! Love the decor! We ordered a la carte and was able to pick the sushi we wanted and had a great time!

Great service and atmosphere. The Aburi sushi is a must try. Edamame was the only thing that didn't impressed. Kuro Sour (cocktail) was amazing!

This place is divine — great indoor atmosphere (the patio/outdoor area could be improved), the food is absolutely masterful, and one of the places where you truly get what you pay for. Our server was so friendly and patient with us. The desert menu cannot be missed — make sure you try at least one of those tasty treats!

I’ve been in a sushi desert living in Texas, but Toronto saved me. I discovered this upscale sushi spot across from my hotel. I felt hip just walking in. The beats are those you’d hear in a German disco and the sushi is super fresh and creative. I had the miso soup, edamame and the Miku Signature Sushi Selection. Everything was amazing. I was traveling for business and sat at the bar alone. The gal working the bar was super professional and made me feel welcome. It was a great experience!

I give this a 4.3/5 rating. The atmosphere and service was exceptional. The food was delicious but not exceptional as I expected for the price. I had Brussel sprouts, aburi sampler, salmon sashimi, and for dessert: green tea dessert and cherry blossom dessert. The desserts were the best part. The mackerel sushi was very fishy and chewy but salmon was best amongst them. Espresso martini is quite good for the price. Portions are small but it's what I expected for a fancy Japanese restaurant. Helpful staff and uplifting atmosphere with good lighting gave me an overall amazing experience.

My husband and I came here for our anniversary dinner. We're very pleased with their customer service and even happier with the food! The food selection was really good. Great quality & amazing presentation. Prices were a bit on the higher end, but everything tasted phenomenal! It's definitely worth the money you spend here. Chill & mellow vibes. Gotta give a shoutout to our server, who was very friendly & helpful. I regret not remembering her name. We didn't wait too long for our food. She took great care of us and didn't disappoint with her reco's. List of foods & drinks ordered: > Okinawa Punch = 5 stars! Very refreshing! > Toji Fizz = 5 stars! > Oysters > Salmon Oshi Sushi > Ebi Oshi Sushi > Miku Roll > Red Wave Roll > Sashimi Selection > Desserts: Green Tea Opera & Ichigo Mochi Dome --> These are a must try when you come here! The green tea opera has 7 layers of goodness! The Ichigo Mochi Dome was so decadent and very refreshing. Overall, we highly recommend this place if you're looking for a place with great quality of seafood that's worth your money. We will definitely be back again.

Really delicious sushi! Super flavourful and unique - really enjoyed the Aburi and I suggest trying all of them! Always great service and prices aren’t bad for the quality. Highly recommend for a special occasion!

Interesting food!! Service and atmosphere were pretty good. Wakyu carpaccio is totally different from what I expected because it has been changed from 2 months ago. The salmon on the salmon oshi sushi was very thin. Soba with seafood has very tasty squid which I love. Overall I feel these were a bit pricey.

This spot is simply divine! Chose it for my birthday and it didn't disappoint. From the spicy crunchy edamame starter to their unique sushi platter, it's all top-notch. Standouts for me: the salmon oshi sushi with its rich texture and the Kyoto saikyo miso sablefish with its game-changing wasabi sauce. Desserts were a bit underwhelming, but the service and ambiance were impeccable. It's a splurge, but well worth it for those special occasions!

Still my favorite sushi restaurant to date! I like the atmosphere of the Vancouver location more but honestly that's just me nitpicking. Excellent service, presentation, and meal. You will not be disappointed eating here.

Greeted by a warm welcome and lead me to a comfortable booth next to the windows with plenty of natural light. We tried the Brussels sprouts and the fatty meat compliments the dish beautifully. The beef carpaccio was a surprise, as I am expecting just raw beef but this one is cooked and presented with zucchini at the bottom. Complex flavours. Abrui sushi is one of their signature dish and it taste fine. The rice looks very white, meaning they didn’t add red vinegar but it does have vinegar taste and the texture is not bad. The wagyu aburi sushi is huge! Can’t put in my mouth in one bite. Although it does look nice in a big piece, I prefer smaller size for easier enjoyment. Service is good, our water glass is always full. No complimentary parking.

My daughter and I went in to celebrate my birthday. We selected a sampler menu with price of $130 each. The food was delicious and we received wonderful service. The only complaint is that the bill has an extra charge of $37 for hosting and when I asked if the service or tip was included, they said No. I paid between $302 and $317. It was confusing to me.

Time flies, it has been 7 years since my last visit, the portion of the sushi were 8 pcs, versus 4 pcs now, which I don't mind as I ate there alone. I still love their aburi sushi as that is their specialty! Flew 15hrs to Toronto to eat it, worth it!

Miku is perhaps one of the best aburi sushi restaurants in the city. Have had sushi at and especially the specific style of sushi at a number of places but none were as good as Miku. The service has always been excellent. Extremely polite, helpful and courteous staff members. The restaurant never too sleepy or too noisy.

I have visited many sushi restaurants in the GTA and Miku ranks for me as one of the top tier in Toronto. The decor is beautiful, the ambiance is elegant and cos. The service is attentive and friendly both dine in and take out service. The sushi is well prepared and the rice is the star of the show as it is cooked with perfection. Seasoned with just the right amount of vinegar and sugar. I selected the aburi sushi chef sample. Every piece was delicious, incredible and the flavor divine. Definitely recommend to visit at least twice to truly appreciate it.

if you have allergies and need to substitute another ingredient in a sushi roll, the restaurant will make you pay double. apparently we were told they could not make allergy substitutions with a single order of sushi unless we bought 2 of the same item...what is this kind of policy?! just be mindful if you order sushi and have food allergies, you may have to buy double or just eat food that makes you sick.

Excellent sushi spot downtown Toronto. It’s big and the space has lots of character. The crowd is typically a bit bay st with suit and ties but it doesn’t take away from the atmosphere. Brian, our server, brought the energy and picked our entire meal for us. Highly recommend letting your server guide you through the menu. Great spot for a business lunch or a celebration of some kind!
