I had always wanted to try this place as it seemed like a fun spot for a night out. It has a nice atmosphere. The food was OK nothing really special typical bar food. The burger was good. The fried chicken burger was not that great. Both portions were relatively small for the price. The reason for the 1 star rating is the service. The servers were clueless and we had to ask for stuff multiple times and we didn't get them until we were done with the food. They sat down and chatted with customers when doing the bill and couldn't care less about the service. Eventually during payment the tip percentage was locked into the preset and couldn't put any lower than the machines default which considering the horrible service felt like a straight up SCAM!!

Visited on Dec 9th, 2023 at 8:00 PM The dim sum dumplings and French fries were the highlights of our meal. However, the Caesar salad, while interestingly square shaped and spicy, lacked the classic garlicky flavor and was excessively creamy. The most disappointing part of our experience was the sirloin steak, priced over $30. It was clearly a subpar cut and seemed previously frozen. Served sliced in a “French style,” the steak was tough, chewy, and stringy — hardly what you’d expect at this price point. We expressed our dissatisfaction to the manager, who kindly offered to comp our meal. We declined this gesture, opting instead to share our experience for the benefit of others. On a brighter note, we received two complimentary Old Fashioneds, as the first pair we ordered had little effect. In summary, I suggest eating and drinking elsewhere before heading to Local in Liberty Village for game night watching with friends. Based on our visit, they fall short in delivering quality pub fare or a satisfying drinking experience.

Enjoyed lunch and cocktails on the patio with friends. Food was great, cocktails hit the spot. Good service. The Hot Mess Fries are a must-have. Also pictured below, the Beet Hummus, Calabrian Caesar Salad, Blackened Chicken Curry Bowl and Pinche Beef Tacos. Great spot for a casual meal!

I recently visited this restaurant for lunch with colleagues. The ambiance and setup were delightful, and the food met expectations. The staff was welcoming, providing a pleasant experience. All was good, but having a halal meat option would have been more appreciated.

Party of seven during the height of the air show. We forgot to bring a lock for our two bikes. The staff were SO accommodating even though we had a BIG ask to sit close to our property. Food and service was fantastic. See you again!

It was my first time dining here, which was only a short stay, but overall it was good. We ordered beef tacos and Thai noodles salad, which were both delicious. The beef tacos were suitable for the price and portion, but the Thai noodles salad was small compared to the higher price. They have happy hour specials, but it's only until 5 pm. We didn't get a table before 5 pm, so we bought beer at the regular price. Honestly, their beer was a bit overpriced, but since the overall atmosphere and decor of the restaurant were great, I think it's well worth it. Overall the food and beer are pretty good, and the atmosphere and decor are excellent, but the price is a bit too high for the smaller portions. If There are activities nearby, I’ll be back for sure in the future.

I’ve been here many times and have ordered various things and they were all impressive. Delicious food, amazing dog friendly patio, fantastic service. It’s one of my favorite places in Toronto to eat and grab a beer, especially when the patio is open. Highly recommend. Some of the dishes I would recommend trying are the fried chicken ramen, the truffle cheeseburger, and the poke. You can’t go wrong.

I came here with my family and I absolutely love it. The tacos both beef (in appetizer menu) and the fish (main menu) were absolutely amazing. I found the salad portion quiet small but it tasted really good. Also their shrimp dumplings were really good as well, I had their truffle burger at the leaside location and that's worth a try as well. The location and vibes are amazing on a week night out and they have a good selection of beers of well that you should defiently check it out.

Service was exceptional, server was attentive to our orders and came at the perfect time to refill drinks and take away our plates. Wasn’t much of a fan of the interior but the dinner had made up for it, portions are also decent considering the price. When you visit do give the BBQ Rice Bowl! The Mexican Fish Tacos were also not the best.

Came here for dinner with my friend before our concert and really enjoyed it! We got seated relatively quick despite it being busy. I ordered the truffle burger and salad which were tasty. There was a slight mishap with my meal and the waitress and manager were very accommodating and wanted to ensure I had a good experience at their restaurant. Overall I would highly recommend! You’re getting tasty food, great service, and it’s a cute spot!

Our hostess was lovely and then we had the BEST server named Erin. She was super friendly and professional and gave the best recommendations for food. The food was outstanding! We ordered the truffle burger and also the curry chicken bowl but asked for tofu instead of chicken. It’s was the best tofu curry I have ever eaten. We will definitely be back!

This is a great local pub with lots of different beer and drink options! They've just reopened and so they have a more limited menu but hopefully it will grow back to a bigger menu soon! The staff are really kind and very sweet and open to whatever you need. Everyone was wearing masks and safe in terms of social distancing as there is lots of space between the various patio locations! It was a lot quieter here than some of the bars on the main Liberty Street. You can use the washroom and go inside and it is safe in following covid protocol! And both the food and drinks were really delicious! The vegetarian tacos were very delicious and had a good spice and flavouring to them!

Went with friends for brunch. Brunch menu options are limited but we ordered plates from the normal menu and was really delicious. They have 52% offers for brunch bottles.

Very friendly place and great vybe. Open late nights which is a huge plus. I had the shrimp dumplings, fish tacos and nachos. Everything was A1, great tasting food. Menu was a little limited but would def come back here again to try other things

I heard many good things about this place so I decided to stop in and try it . Had nachos and a burger both were pretty good, burger kinda lacked seasoning to be honest . Fries were pretty good. I’d come back to try other things.

Had an amazing experience here, had a beer (Henderson best) and a Diablo burger with onion rings. Food was great, atmosphere was amazing and my server (Hital) was so helpful kind and courteous. I will definitely be coming back

Good experience overall. I got the bbq Korean pork bowl, the flavours were amazing. The portion size was kind of disappointing for the price though. Drinks we good, desert was good. I’ll come back because a few friends live in the area

I live in Vancouver and have been to a few of the locations over there. But when I usually visit this location if I come to Toronto. I had a bad experience the first time with a waitress who was not very nice. But this last time our server was a whole lot better. A good happy hour beer selection, and appetizers are pretty awesome. A fun atmosphere busy usually with a wide range of Patrons having fun!

This place is what you’d expect from a chain pub. The menu is pub food, without many vegetarian options. There’s no sanitizer at tables. There’s no paper towels in the washrooms to turn off the taps and open the door handles with. It would be helpful for customers since many of the food items are expected to be eaten without utensils. There’s a happy hour menu with some cheaper items. There’s a large patio that has a lively ambiance to it. It’s a popular place; the patio is usually busy even during off peak hours.

Love the vibe and atmosphere here. Really did enjoy my fish taco and cocktail! Would come here for a casual hangout with friends again. The service was amazing and everyone was very friendly. Brought my dog here too and everyone was so welcoming.

Good food and good service. If you’re worried about the burger not being cooked properly, put your fears to bed because they press the patties in house. The Deluxe burger was juicy asf👌🏽the Korean bbq bowl was pretty good too the pork tasted really delicious. 10/10 come here for drinks and a good time. Our server Samantha was super sweet

Overall had a good experience here. Food we ordered (fish and chips and caesar salad) are average and maybe we didn't order the best things on the menu. Cocktails are very light. The patio and atmosphere is amazing. Service is great also. Definitely would come back during summer.

Went there for lunch on a Sunday and got the fish tacos and truffle burger. Fries were super crispy and delicious, and the burger itself was juicy and flavorful. The staff were friendly and our server checked in with us often.

Local offers great value with its generous portions and delicious pub food. The steak is a standout, really well-made and even more impressive given the price. Sure, there were some wasps buzzing around the patio, but they weren't a big deal. Plus, the upbeat crowd makes the place feel lively. It's a good spot for tasty eats and a happy vibe.

We recently had lunch here for the first time, and it definitely won’t be the last! The food was incredible. We started with the Shrimp Dumplings with the delicious ginger and garlic chilli sauce. We had two separate main dishes, she had the Breakfast Sandwich (which was a knock-out), and I had the featured Christmas Burger, which was INCREDIBLE! One of the tastiest burgers I’ve ever had. Definitely going back again!

Samantha took great care of us during my birthday dinner with friends. We were a party of 8 yet Samantha did not lose any focus on our group. The food was great and the beers were better. Really cool atmosphere! Would come back solely due to the service.

Had dinner on the patio last Friday (2023-10-20). The food was great, but even more impressive is the place felt like a well-oiled machine! We said we needed to be in and out in about an hour, and they absolutely worked with that time budget. We also had a few different staff check in throughout the meal, but in a good way. The host was knowledgeable about the menu despite only working there for a month (as she said). It's not a cheap place, but I think the quality of the food and service is commensurate with the cost. A great staple to liberty village. Always a great time and pleasure to come and eat or just have social drinks. The waitresses are very nice and very professional. The food I would say for the time it takes and the price is pretty reasonable. But, I gotta say that new chicken sandwich was a zinger!!! Gotta try it for yourself!

Came here quite late a few nights ago, amazing location to go to after an event at the Enercare Centre or Budweiser stage. Service was great (shoutout to our server who was super nice!!) and the food was really good and fresh. Totally recommend :)

Why did I take so long to eat here?! 😩 I’ve lived in Parkdale for a while and now that I’m out of the area is when I decided to stop by lol. I had an event that day around Queen/Dufferin that got cancelled by the organizer last minute 🤦🏽‍♀️ so instead I brought my mom out for brunch instead (a @kerlbeauty staff meeting 😋). Best decision because it was the best timing (Sunday right before Noon) where the weather was beautiful and we got a nice outdoor patio vibe under some shade 👌🏽 The hostess and server gave amazing service and the food was delicious! Highly recommend the Braised Beef Hash (and add Avocado) 🤤 My mama ended up getting the Classic Benedict (with a Caeser that had the best pickle as she says) and that also slapped 😂 *Compliments to the Chef* 10/10 and would definitely come back 🙌🏽

The food and atmosphere are good. Service is outstanding, but some things don't change. Ordered a soft drink ($4.50) and this is how much ice and coke are in the glass. Had the same experience several years ago with the Local Lemonade. Funny when my teenager is joking about ordering coke with his ice. This can easily be resolved by advising the staff to place less ice and more soft drink in the glass. Might even save some waitstaff time. In case it doesn't change, just as for no ice. The drinks are cold enough on their own.

We went here before a concert at Budweiser stage. It was super busy and we had to wait in line but ended up getting a nice spot on the patio. The staff was really friendly and the food was tasty. Great atmosphere recognize it will be busy on a Friday night. We will be back!

Came for dinner at 7:00 on a Saturday night with a friend. There was no line at this time, and we were seated right away. The staff were very nice, and the food was good (had curry chicken bowl). A line started outside after 8:00, and our service slowed down because of the extra customers. Overall a positive experience and I’ll be back.

Did not know how delicious the food here is, until we accidentally visited this place. Ordered the Crushed Sangria, crispy potatoes and Enchiladas. Every single item exceeded the expectations. Must visit if you are around.

Had the enchiladas chicken. They were on the spicy side. I didn’t read that clearly on the menu. They were tasty but was brought to me cool. Not warm so service wasn’t quick enough to bring to our table. Sangria drink was amazing. Staff super friendly. Cool ambiance.

Came here with a friend at noon on a Saturday and we were seated indoors right away after they checked our vaccine passports. We were seated in a booth and there were dividers put up between tables, so it felt quite spacious. I got the eggs benny and my friend got the fish tacos. Both were really good and not too heavy.

The service was amazing and they are following all Covid protocols. The nachos were great... The Pinche Beef Tacos were good but needed a bit of salt. Overall a nice patio, great food and drinks.

Just love the place! The staff is very friendly and take into all the fair requests that are made. It was my b'day so they also offered Cinnamon Sugar Donuts on the house, which surely was a cherry on the top of the whole experience. We chose to sit in the patio and had hot wings which were great.

Its a great place to enjoy a patio , amazing atmosphere. Staff is friendly and amazing . The only concern was food test. I have visited this place couple of years back. The test was awesome at that time . But right now ots not that delicious. Little disappointed with the food . 😕

Went there for brunch. Even though there was a line up, I was able to get in fairly quickly owing to their huge patio seating area. The service was quick. My friends and I had enchiladas, eggs Benedict and topped nachos..everything was tasty 😋
