I’ve actually been like 5 times to this chain in different locations. It has GREAT vegan options and the value (quality/price) is very good. Food is tasty and options are endless. I like the fact that almost every plate is customizable and the ingredients are clean -for most of the choices- some locations are better than others but overall is a great and quick option for a good bite. Recommendations: buffalo cauliflower, burrito, super soup and please do not leave without ordering the onion rings Occasion: afternoon with family and friends on a patio kind of afternoon

I have now been to the location on Hurontario and the one Spadina both restaurants served microwaved food (as you can see by the pictures). I am not sure how they justify such a high price tag for microwaved food, both times I have spent nearly $70 and it's been a massive disappointment. Microwaved food in a plastic container should be a huge no no, have others also experienced the same issue? PS my burger was still cold and sweet potato fries felt like they were from yesterday. Very disappointed with the overall experience, I won't go back there again.

Hadn't been to this Fresh location in years but it wasn't the best experience. The quality of food lacked and the service wasn't great either. The soups we ordered were really watered down. The manager first came to tell us that they didn't have superfood soup available, and recommended switching to the lentil. However he came back moments later saying he made a mistake and it was in fact ready. It also took about 40 minutes to get out appetizer and meals. There were only 2 other tables at the time! All arrived at the same time. It would have been nice to get the appetizer ahead l, so the wait wouldn't feel that long. The cauliflower was the only highlight of the night. Also, my friend who is a regular at Fresh at another location was very disappointed with what she ordered. The server was nice to have it replaced at no charge. However she said the meal she got was of much less quality than her usual location. She went to let the manager that night know how disappointed she was, but the manager did not seem too concerned about improving her customer experience. She also wrote an email to the main Fresh email about her disappointment with her experience, but did not get any response.. I don't think I'll be back to this location.

We were looking for a place that’s open on Jan 1st and decided to give this place a try and I have to say that I’m very impressed! We ordered nachos, buffalo cauliflower, galaxy and strawberry swirl smoothies and their stew. Other than smoothies, the rest of them were delicious! The buffalo cauliflower was crunchy and tasty and the stew was hearty. Will definitely go back there again soon!

Lovely plant-based spot in Mississauga on Hurontario. Have always known about the Oakville location but didn’t know they opened one in Mississauga so went to check it out with a few friends. The ambiance was great with plants everywhere and nice seating areas. We really enjoyed the cheeseburger and the cali burger with the dragon & dutch fries. Service was okay but not the best. Overall, a enjoyable experience.

I’ve been here a few times now and I absolutely love it! The food and juice’s are so good and fresh. The quinoa onion rings are one of my favourites. Service is great. Highly recommend this lovely restaurant 👍🏻

At first I was hesitant to go to an all vegan place as most meat substitutes are a miss and the food ends up tasting bland. But not here. I got the BBQ burger with the Beyond meat patty and it was one of the best burgers I had. They took extra care with their ingredients, which you could tell were extremely fresh, and the sauces they use seem to be made from scratch. Even the hot sauce I got on the side did not seem like it came from a bottle. Would definitely recommend this place, and I will be going back for the many healthy options option they have.

Had lunch here. This is a vegan restaurant with many yummy and healthy options: wraps, bowls, juices. The spicy sauce made in-house added a nice kick to my protein bowl. There's plenty of parking as this is in a plaza. Noticed on the website that there are recently added brunch deals.

Just yesterday I dined at their Sherway location and had the powerhouse bowl. It was absolutely delicious but I highly recommend not driving anywhere after you eat. Thanks to that meal I now know where all the toilets are in Sherway Gardens Mall.

The interior decor and lighting were lovely. The moss wall and furniture are elegant as well. The servers were friendly, and service was as expected during the lunch rush. This part alone would have been 4/5 stars. However, I will focus on the food for this review. The clubhouse wrap featured in the picture below was very light, and the salad greens were fresh. The tofu steaks were cut thick enough to give the wrap some texture. Overall, this wrap was very mild and tasted healthy. It was just missing something. In terms of portion size, it was enough for lunch. We also ordered the buffalo wrap, which features their crispy chick’n and buffalo sauce wrapped with other veggies (alfalfa, carrots, tomato and salad greens). I liked the flavour of this combination better than the clubhouse wrap. The carrots and greens were also refreshing. I just wished it had more chick’n pieces. I was a little disappointed with the add-on side of sweet potato fries. Maybe it was an off day, but our fries were on the more crispy/burnt side. In the future, I may give their other menu items a try and will update this review then.

Fresh, healthy vegetarian food. Onion rings are delicious. I ordered the Buddha bowl, regular size. It was too big, baby is definitely the way to go. If you want extra sauce, ask for it on the side. The bowl looked better than it tasted, pretty bland. I've eaten much better vegetarian and vegan food. Booth seats are comfortable, others not so much. Moderately loud.

A true Toronto staple vegan and vegetarian restaurant that I’ve been visiting since they only had the original location. I had the beach bowl years ago and it was just as memorable and amazing when I ordered it today. Their appetizers are always amazing and super popular but you can’t go wrong with anything on the menu. I happened to visit during happy hour and traffic was fairly quiet. Been here many times. The worse vegan restaurant location in Ontario. Right off the bat the good.. The atmosphere looks great. Lots of bright lights with kitchen windows give it a nice experience if you plan to dine in. The Management and counter servers are not good human beings. Extremely rude and will insult you in there native language. Extremely poor customer service skills. Just a place to show up to get paid, with the least amount of effort involved. The counter lady's have 0 respect. They never hand the food to me. They will drop it on the counter from a position as if there trying to damage my food. Like dropping something on the ground with your arm at a elevated hight. Went home, and looked at my order and again they purposely gave me the wrong food again and as an insult, they drenched the burger with so much sause, you couldn't see the patty. it was a puddle. Like a plate full of mayo. What a joke. I spoke to the male manager there, told me his name is rahul. next time they messed up the order I ask to speak to him again about a messed up order, he tells me now his name is now peter. Sad Never again. Great thing now is I've been inspired now by places like THIS to be included in a new youtube channel, all about expensive vegan restaurants, that charge you double the price for mid grade GMO veggies & horrible service. FRESH is not the experience here.. Never again...

The best thing about this restaurant was the renovations done as this was a beautiful place to dine at. The whole vibe of greenery is just amazing. They made the atmosphere perfect for the date night. The food was just not over the top, like it was okay there was nothing outstanding about, we ordered the protein powerhouse which came without a dressing not even on the side. Had to order that separately the thing which I didn't like as a salad should always be complimented with a dressing. The reason I am giving it a 3 star on food. The fries were great but again because there is no use of flavours as a concept here which I don't mind but while eating you feel like you can make it at home.

It’s nice to see Fresh expanding to the suburbs! Been going to Fresh locations in Toronto for over 10 years and have seen the changes over time to their menu, prices, portions and decor. Love the renovations they’ve done. The Hurontario location is a calm vibe, however the portions have changed drastically over the past 6 months and the servings at this location I felt were not as generous as the others which negatively impacted the food experience. Ordered the dragon fries which were too light on the sauce and the serving was significantly smaller for dine in than their previous take out option - see the photos. Also had the Squash Tacos which were only two tiny pieces of squash and the sauce was lightly dotted on, so it didn’t have much flavour. For the prices we are paying, the servings for the fries needs to be reinstated and the sauces add so much flavour so it’s best to be generous with this. Was hoping to enjoy the green Elixir juice but it wasn’t as green as I had it at the Crawford location. Consistency is key. I hope you all can keep it up!

My husband and I came back here after not being here since Aug 2022! The nachos were our favourite thing on the menu, and our favourite nachos out of any restaurant we’ve ever been to! We would recommend to all of our friends to go and try them. We noticed that the price of the nachos were a lot less than we remember and they were also on the happy hour menu for $8 which was weird! They’re also going by a new name “black bean nachos”. We were nervous to get them, and praying they didn’t change a thing… unfortunately they did! The nachos now have whole black beans, and the toppings are only on the first layer of chips! The portion size is half the size it use yo be! They also removed a bunch of toppings from the original nachos! We were sooooo disappointed because this is the menu item that ensured we kept returning! The restaurant has a calm and welcoming vibe. Service is good. I ordered the cauliflower tacos. The food looked great but tasted extremely extremely bland. Even the sauce on top was bland. The entire dish lacked even basic seasoning. A sprinkle of salt and pepper and a little bit of lemon juice would have gone a long long way here.

This place is vegan. Ambiance is great. Appetizers and drinks are great too. Overall food was mediocre for the money you pay. I ordered a small salad. Bowl was so small, my food was falling out of the bowl. Service was slow. It took us 2.5 hours to get our food on a Sunday. Server was rude. Overall, not a pleasant experience.

Great food and awesome service!! We went for late lunch, had a taco bowl, sweet potato fries, protein bowl and a heartbeet juice. Food was fresh and delicious. They have everyday special between 3-5pm.

A great place that’s has been recently expanded and renovated. Super cute feminine style decor. Plush little velvet bar stools, plants and neon lights. I say at the bar and was entertained by Robert, which worked very well for me seeing as I was eating alone. The food selection was impressive, almost overwhelming (I like menus with just a few options). But incredibly delicious and just fresh, fun vegan food. I made a video of the place too, but can’t figure out how to upload it... 🤷🏽‍♀️ Loved it!

Came here for Mother’s Day and sad to say I’m unsatisfied with the food and hospitality standards at the restaurant. From being seated to being served, my experience dine in was subpar. Arrived with a reservation with my family waited 10min for table to be set up, disorganized staff (ie provided cups by another staff but no water) and food delivery was somewhat timely (not everything was served all at once). I understand if the place was full waiting periods would be expected however the restaurant was more than half empty. The pictures on the website (ie squash tacos, nachos) are quite misleading too. Portion sizes DECREASED and aren’t as aesthetically or accurately presented as before. I used to come here and rave how "appreciation" can easily be seen in both the food and staff. Post COVID, things declined. Management would benefit GREATLY coordinating organization and communication with staff. Additionally reverting back to the original portion sizes (for the tacos) or at least creating the dishes that are a true and accurate representation of the food online would help support the business. It’s unfortunate I downgraded the review as our server Marciella (hope I spelled your name correctly) was very friendly, patient and giving. If anything she was the best thing about the review. She referred the smoothie drinks BIG GREEN AND RAINBOWBERRY which were a hit. If it weren’t for her I absolutely would’ve rated this review a two

As my first time dining at a vegan/vegetarian restaurant as a non-vegan/vegetarian, I was pleasantly surprised by how filling the meals were. The fresh bowls were protein heavy and very filling, even in the smaller size. I ordered "balance" and the peanut sauce was delicious and a great texture to contrast the crunchiness from the greens. The "dragon fries" were delicious but nothing special compared to other fries. The buffalo chicken wrap is almost indistinguishable from one with real meat. Note that pizza is NOT served at this location. The drinks here are also great - I do recommend anything with their homemade kombucha! The ambiance was very cozy - the couches and chairs had comfortable cushions and fabrics and the tables were rustic wood. Lighting was also very romantic in the early evening, but the big windows during the day provided great lighting. Overall, had a great experience and would be interested in trying out their other locations as well.

I get delivery from here regularly and it’s consistently delicious. This is the best Buffalo cauliflower I’ve ever had, stays soo crunchy and flavorful, great acidity in the Buffalo sauce and not too spicy, and a great ranch dip. They somehow keep it crunchy despite being tossed in sauce and kept in a takeout container - most of the time at least, it has been soggy a couple times. Delicious ranch dip with it and fresh celery. The cauliflower inside stays crunchy and fresh, which is what makes it unique from all others I’ve tried that are usually soft and soggy and over cooked (and don’t stay crunchy on the inside). It’s a full meal on its own. I can’t vouch for the rest of their menu, the 9 layer burrito is not good - mostly undercooked brown rice. They’ve got a couple good sour beers, lots of lattes though one time when dining in I was warned against their coffee which apparently tasted sour. Good non alcoholic sodas. My second time dining in we had a lot of issues, but I’m only removing 1 star because the manager stepped in and found a generous resolution. First, we waited 1 hour upon seating till our food came. It reached the point where we were ready to just pay for our drinks and leave. We inquired multiple times - for the first 45min our water didn’t even check on us, I repeatedly had to walk up to the kitchen to get anyones attention. Meanwhile, takeout upon takeout order was getting filled while they just weren’t filling the order of their in-house customers. I saw two other tables walk up to the kitchen and complain just like us, apparently had been waiting a while. And the restaurant was empty, this was a Tuesday night. Then, they burned the onion rings (twice - we sent the first ones back and second were also black/burned) and they FORGOT THE BUFFALO SAUCE on my Buffalo cauliflower. Overall, it was a huge disappointment but the manager was very generous in making it right, and they still make the best Buffalo cauliflower in town (when they remember the Buffalo sauce).

I haven't been here since they newly renovated so I decided to check it out, and was very pleasantly surprised! The restaurant is so cute now! They also have this mushroom latte that is not on their menu but if you beg the waiters then usually they can get it done for you, which is honestly the reason why I come here, but all of their food is super yummy and you can't really go wrong with any of the choices.

The place is very pretty and gives me a relaxed feeling when dine in here. Rushali was kind and very helpful. She is also very patient since we did take a bit of time to order. I got the berry rainbow drink that she suggested and it tasted amazing!

Both the food and the service is fantastic! The server, Karan, is very friendly and sweet. He helped me choose what to eat and drink, and everything was spot on! My favourite dish is crispy dumplings. Rich flavour and lots of mayo 😍 Would definitely visit again :)

The food was superb! I love how the flavours makes you want to take another bite. I suggest to try their Buffalo Cauliflower, Squash Tacos and their Protein Bowl which is a very good starter for your visit.

Cute little place in the heart of Toronto, with a great selection of vegan meals. I really liked that it wasn't just "fake meat" but also vegetable dishes with different toppings. The wine selection was good too and the service was great as well. I'd definitely recommend the flatbread as that was a favourite at our table tonight for vegans and non vegans!

Order take from here all the time and for some reason I was charged $1.50 for soba nooodles meanwhile the menu in the restaurant and online both say it’s only $1.00. Why would I order take out in person if it’s cheaper for me to order online….this doesn’t make sense. When I spoke to the supervisor she said “ I dunno why it’s like that it’s just a known fact”. Sorry but it’s not a known fact and if your advertising prices on 2 different platforms that should be the price charged. Honour what your advertising at the very least. Clearly customer service has gone downhill at this location and poor management. Won’t be coming to this location or ever ordering in person. The price should have been honoured due to your errors.

Delicious vegan dishes! All of the Fresh restaurants I have been to have been consistent with quality. Huge menu and good happy hour specials. Great for takeout or dining in. Large portions and depending on what you order you won’t feel sluggish after eating

This place is amazing. I have been coming to this location for three years now and I really like everything. They have a variety of options form smoothies to food dishes. My go to for smoothies is the ultra protein which taste really good and has added protein powder in it. For food I usually get the tacos, the dragon fries, cauliflower totes, and their salad bowls. I really recommend specially for groups as a lot of their dishes are shareable. Service is great and I never had an issue here. They are always attentive and at reach. I definitely recommend !

Great salad send a perfect gin and tonic

A real gem of a dining experience. Every aspect of our visit lived up to and exceeded the website promises. We ordered 4 different dishes which were all excellent and tried out distinctive drinks and delicious desserts. Further adding to our enjoyment of the meal was the service provided by the top-notch waiter. He knew the components and preparation method of each meal and was able to make helpful suggestions. His engaging personality made us feel very welcome. The staff really have teamwork down to an art, all pitching in to make the restaurant run smoothly and ensure a memorable experience. A return visit is in the near future.

4.8 I would say! I had a negative image of vegetarian food before but “beach” here changed my mind! It was really delicious! And the staff who took care of my table was really nice and friendly too. I had to wait a little bit more for the food than I usually do in other restaurants, yet if you’re talking with your friends while waiting it wouldn’t bother you so much I believe. At least it didn’t for me. Nice atmosphere too.

My mom has been raving about this restaurant for the past couple of months, so naturally, I decided to join her today for a late lunch. I was blown away by how delicious and satisfying everything was. Such a cozy spot & the wait staff were all so pleasant. Definitely would recommend, especially to meat-eaters looking to transition lol

Probably my favorite vegan restaurant of all time! Every time I go to Toronto, I always go back to this place. The drinks and juices are amazing, and I love the vegan take on classic dishes!

My friend and I visited the Spadina location in hopes to have a good meal and great service but it was far from what we got. Our experience started with us having one server who showed up once then to disappear, we had to inquire to another server when we would be getting our food because the server disappeared , we then got our food 40 minutes after placing our order. Then to cash out we were brought our receipts and waited 20 minutes before we could leave only to be advise on cash out that they have one machine. As someone who frequently supports fresh and recommends it to my fellow vege eaters. I will be avoiding your Spadina location completely. My experience has always been great at other fresh locations. please look into better service at your Spadina location and consideration for peoples time. I’ve only had this experience once but have heard from other friends this is never the location to go to.

I am so pleased to see a FRESH location outside of the Toronto area. Absolutely love the menu! Food is delicious, the only reason I have rated a 4 and not a 5 is because out of probably 15-20 takeout orders, i'd say about 3-4 orders were a little lackluster (aka soggy buffalo cauliflower) I will still continue visiting this location for takeout because man, when it's good, IT'S SO GOOD! :) Central location, easy to get to with loads of parking and ample seating inside.

Came by here yesterday for lunch. Ordered the nachos, soup and salad combo and a chai bomb. The nachos were amazing, the portion was huge even for two people. The soup and salad combo was a good deal, came with cornbread because of a gluten allergy. Not a fan of the chai bomb, couldn't taste anything except water and cinnamon, ended up returning it. The food here is always amazing and never disappoints but it is quite expensive. It was great to be able to eat outside on their patio again. Definitely will return.

Love the huge menu and all the gluten-free options. Really like the vibe too. The rose latte was not for me, but the rest was great. The bowls are delish. The desserts looked great too, but was too full to try. Staff is really nice too!

Great concept. It was nice to go there and see the menu with all the available options as a vegetarian. One issue is the amount of flies in the eating area...hope they can resolve this because I love the food here!

Obsessed with this place! Im new to Toronto and was looking for a vegan restaurant and Fresh ABSOLUTELY delivered. Amazing food, great variety, super friendly staff and an awesome atmosphere. And the juice - I got the “immune boost“ and its simply *chef’s kiss* 🤌 My servers were also the best and gave great tips. I’ll definitely be back often!!!

Nice place! Very vibrant and welcoming. Good service. Food was on par, some was good some not so much. Our fries were cold, but they replaced them no problem. The sandwich was mega oily. Godess bowl was soooo good. Dumplings were fire. Drinks were good.

TLDR; besides the crowding due to lack of space (a bit uncomfortable being so close to the people beside), THE SERVICE WAS SO QUICK AND FRIENDLY, and the food was incredibly delicious for a great price! The prices were great for the food, and the food was delicious too. The food came in under 10 minutes of waiting, which was phenomenal, and it was all hot and prepared well. They got our order wrong so they gave us complimentary food as well, very friendly! The portions are great and the plates are well organized and put together. The variety on their menu and clarity are also refreshing as customers! The atmosphere and aesthetic were comfortable too, making the experience truly wonderful. I would definitely recommend this as one of my favourite vegan restaurants, or restaurants in general.

Worth every single penny. I've been a vegetarian for 23 years and have never been happier. My hubby and I got the quinoa onion rings with Thai peanut sauce as our appetizer. Then we split the buffalo wrap and clubhouse wrap with one side of sweet potato fries, served with chipotle mayo dip, and one side fresh cuts, served with jalapeño lime dip. We also had americanos with almond milk, and sweetened with agave. We left ridiculously stuffed and satisfied. We will definitely be back! The buffalo wrap is the best btw!

Dumplings were great but a bit spicy. The beyond cheese burger was AMAZING!! I could barely tell it wasn't meat and I love my meat. The fries were crunchy just the way I like it, but I found the portions a bit small for what you're paying. This is where I fell in love with beyond meat and vegan food.

Very cute place! I have to highlight their fresh pressed juices, the apple ginger glow was amazing! Great atmosphere and nice plating. The only thing is if you’re sitting outside be ready to potentially have flies in your food. I came here with a friend for the first time. She got the cauliflower wraps that were difficult to eat but very delicious. My bowl wasn’t really great, I don’t recommend it. Other than that it’s a nice place:)

I dined with my family here for my daughter's birthday celebration, I usually love Fresh restaurants and have always had a good experience with the food but recently I've found their food quality has decreased significantly at the Hurontario location. I dined with my husband and three children, our Starters were the nachos but the cheese drizzled on top was ice cold. For our mains they brought out my tacos and my husband's wrap before the children's burgers, so our little one's watched us eat while waiting for their food (of course we shared ours with them while we waited). But my taco bread was out-of-the-fridge cold and the fried squash in the tacos was barely warm, so we ate cold stiff tacos. My husbands flat bread for his wrap was also out-of-the-fridge cold, it was like left overs, I remember a while back when I used to get warm soft delicious bread with my wraps here, this was NOT that. Then the server brought out my sweet potato fries and the fries for my children's burgers some time after, but they were also cold. Then finally some time later they brought out my children's burgers and the burger bread was quite tough, it would have been nice to have some soft warm fresh bread with our meals, especially with what the prices are. Lastly we ordered two carrot cakes and it was also out-of-the-fridge cold, and the icing throughout the cake was pretty solid and tough. I only added another star because the hot chocolate was good and my latte was hot and tasty.

Came for lunch with coworkers, and was very impressed with the food. I'm personally not vegan, but this was a very good experience. We tried the buffalo cauliflower and onion rings for appetizers, and I had the BBQ burger. All of these were very well made and flavourful. Would come again.

I came here for brunch with my friend. It is a super cute vegan restaurant and the decor is beautiful. I ordered the avocado grilled cheese with sweet potato fries. I thought the sweet potato fries would come with chipotle mayo but they came with ketchup which was a disappointment. The grilled cheese was ok but the bread was like croutons. Like if you ate a bowl of captain crunch cereal and it tears at the roof of your mouth. Eating each bite of this sandwich was painful and it hurt my mouth. I didn’t love the flavour either so I wouldn’t order that again.

Nice ambience, the food is good and the service is okayish. We ordered Greek salad, beyond meat cheese burger, fried dumplings and passion fruit drink. All of them tasted good, especially the dumplings and the Greek salad. My only gripe is it felt overpriced given the quality and quantity of the food. Won’t visit again.
