You need to come up here at least once in your life and definitely if you are just visiting Toronto and it’s a nice day out. The elevator ride up is an experience in itself and once you get up there the views are phenomenal. 🇨🇦💯😍💯🇨🇦

In my view, it is worth the extra expense, because it is much higher. My son was fascinated with the plumb line/pendulum showing the movement of the tower. The views are better, you can truly say you went as high as you can go, and you get better views looking east if you are not eating at the restaurant. Plus, you get to look down at the brave people doing the Edge Walk :)

CN tower is an excellent vantage point to see the enormity of the city! Especially enjoyed seeing Toronto Island from this view since we were just there yesterday! Use your AMA when you buy tickets to save 10%. Expect to spend about 1 hour here. The gift shop is affordable!

Decent prices for tickets. Friendly staff throughout. The elevator trip up is something special. View is very good with wide windows and thin borders. There’s a great restaurant in on the observation deck with good prices. Really comfortable to spend an hour or two here.

Offers a different view than the main observation deck. Much clearer look down the world below through the glass surrounds. Tight aisles. Tiny elevator to get up 33 stories over the main deck. You can really feel the tower sway on a windy day. Should be part of the main entrance fee instead of charging a separate $15 fee.

A must visit during your holiday. I loved it. The view is breathtaking. You can spend as long as you want in the tower. The staff is also very friendly. I bought my tickets online and everything went very smooth. There is a restaurant and places to sit.

Barry Roden took the picture of Mike McCarty, Denise Donlon, John Reid and I when we walked on the roof of the CN Tower. Long before it was a tourist attraction circa 1998

Beautiful sight from the sky pod and the 360 restaurant, I wouldn't go there just to the normal lookout if you plan to make pictures (there are metal protection bars that ruin your photos). To me the dinner felt rushed, within 3 min after I finished the first course I got the second one. Same for the third course. The food was really nice presented. I took fish, see pictures. The sunset is beautiful from the tower. To see the city lights in darkness you have to wait some time of course. Take something to do with you.

SkyPod is the highest observation platform in the Western Hemisphere. From up here, 33 storeys higher than the Main Observation Level and 447 metres (1,465 feet) above the ground, you can feel the Tower sway in the wind.

Not only great views, but awesome, friendly, and helpful service from Dee, who walked me through the ticketing process for Skypod and made sure I made it all the way to the top. Thanks Dee! Highly recommend the Tower and Skypod as well!

If you enjoy heights, you'll love the views and the experience. Air Miles or a Motor Association card will give a bit of a discount, so use them! All attendants were super polite and helpful. Several spoke different languages. No wait times except for waiting for the elevator to go back down. Clean and tidy. Restaurant upstairs too!

The elevator takes up 114 stories high to the watching deck in just 1min. Skypod is few meters above this level. The view is mesmerizing truly.

Fun experience. Breathtaking views. A tad pricy.

View was good, but not much difference compared to the standard observation deck. Also, more interference with the window seams in the skypod. Overall, worth it to do once, but probably won’t go back up again. The standard observation deck provides an overall better experience.

So many years spent seeing this structure on TV and I finally got to the top of it...breathtaking views and a great sense of history in that building.

What an interesting experience this was. The views are beautiful, of course. Just a heads up for other travelers - if you're looking to go to the skypod and you're on any kind of time constraints, go find the kiosk for the tickets you have to buy. Yes, you have to buy tickets to the observation deck and then once there you'll need to buy more tickets to the skypod. The skypod makes you chose when to go up and may be 10 minutes out from your current time and they won't let you enter until then. The space is far smaller than the observation deck, obviously, but may be even smaller than you're imagining. If you have claustrophobia, reconsider going up. You can definitely feel the tower moving which was unsettling for me, lol. The older I get the more Heights bother me so even standing near the windows and looking out makes my stomach hurt quite a bit. I thought it was neat to get some selfies in here with the shadow of the building way down below me in my photos. Pretty cool to step foot in the highest view point in the western hemisphere!

Skypod - CN Tower, Toronto, Ontario Canada After the EdgeWalk, I was also given a Free Coupon to visit the SkyPod at the CN Tower which is the Highest Observation Deck that they have at the CN Tower. I was exactly 447m (1,465 ft.) high above the city... In Addition: SkyPod is one of the highest observation platforms in the world with a unique and spectacular view like no other. The view is Incredible and so is the EdgeWalk as well! I Highly Recommend Both on your next visit to the CN Tower out in Toronto, Ontario Canada. I want to personally Thank Claire and Sara for being in one of my pictures and joining ME for the Skypod - CN Tower visit back on Thursday, December 14, 2017. Sincerely yours, Howard Paul Shore Visitor Executive, Volunteer Writer For Google And Tripadvisor Websites /HPS

Interesting place to visit, great view of the city, drinks and food service at the pod, employees not to friendly, badly speak, Natalie at the sky pod rude with racist actitud, only ask dark skin ppl for the tickets, disappointed,

The best view irrespective of what time if the day y visit.

  • 4/5 Chandrika P. 2 years ago on Google
It's nice but the view could be better with less obstruction. The lower levels have a much better view than going all the way up to the sky pod which is lit blue from below.
