First visit and impressed with all the memorable! A little confusing as to where to start as there's numerous overlaps. Great interactive displays that allow you to be both a player and goalie.

This place is magical if you're a true fan of the game. It has everything you would be looking for. Interactive attractions, unbelievable memorabilia, all the trophies, a great gift shop, amazing staff, ever changing exhibits, and movies about the greatest game. The Hall is centrally located in the city, and I absolutely recommend buying tickets in advance. There was no wait, but you never know. All kinds of food options are near to make a day of it. This is a must visit attraction for any hockey fan. You won't be disappointed.

Oh it was an amazing experience. Walking around seeing all the great scenes and items hanging on display. The shot the puck and shootout were fun for the family. The main item was walking up the stairs into the great Hall. The presentation of the trophies and all the hall of fame walls was amazing. The staff members that took my family picture with the cup was great to talk to, as he even knew the Windsor area where we were from. He was talking like he still lives there and how he went to University and watched lots of hockey. It was a great way to experience everything.

The place of dreams. Cool artifacts, good history, amazing displays of incr trophies. You can make it a quick visit or spend hours (like me). I've been several times and don't get tired of it.

What an amazing display. Our game is represented in the most amazing way, as is the international game. Featured 9 & 99 display was super cool... 2 of the very best ever. If you like hockey... even a little bit... thisbis worth a stop. You'll need a couple hours though, it's a BIG display.

$25 for adults. You can save on admissions if you have a Presto pass. Worth checking out even if you aren’t big hockey fans. Seeing the original cup in the vault was really cool. $10 for a photo with the cup is a reasonable price, we just took a selfie and saved the money. As for interactive areas: There is an area for people to either be a goalie and stop pucks or be a player and try to score on a goalie. Entrance is on the bottom of the Brookfield Place at one end of the Food Court.

This had a wide-range memorabilia. You can spend hours at this site viewing hockey legends. Each exhibit provides lots of information. There Ara also a few simulations you can participate in...such as goalie and hockey shooting . Try your hand and see if you can score or fend off hockey shots. The building is gorgeous with a stained glass ceiling overlooking the Stanley cup. I highly recommend a visit with your favorite hockey fan.

A mix of Reverence and Fun! The NHL has struck the right balance here and created the perfect crypt to protect the legacy of hockey! I had been wanting to come here for the longest time so I had high expectations. I am pleased to say that it exceeded my expectations! It is a great place for both young and old alike to come together. All of the important events are captured with great detail and fanfare. There is even the appropriate amount of tributes to Gretzky and Mr. Hockey too. The virtual goalie and shooter game is fun for everyone. Even non hockey fans have fun trying to score on an NHL hockey goalie. The Hall of Legends is amazing! It is just like being in a church with the stained glass ceiling. I also loved the recreated Montreal Canadians locker room. It really brings home how central the Habs have been to most of hockey's history. The jerseys from around the world was a nice touch to show that hockey is loved around the world. Now that there are a number of women in the Hall of Fame I think that it may be time to dedicate an area of the museum to the women of the game. There were many girls and women visitors as well as the boys and men who would love to learn about the women pioneers in more detail. I could really feel the torch being passed from me to my sons while we were here. Yes the legacy if hockey is alive and well here.

What a cool experience for any hockey fan! Amazing displays, plenty of history and memorabilia. Enjoyed the 9 & 99 featured display, two of the best to ever play the game. You can get your photo taken with the Stanley Cup for a small fee. Interactive games can get quite busy. There's plenty to see for all ages, I'd budget about 2 hours here as there is a lot to see!

I had a blast here, such an awesome Hall of Fame and a true honor to hockey. Has the humble beginnings of hockey from back in the 1890’s, and brings it forward to the last Stanley Cup Champions Colorado Avalanche. Tons of history, not just NHL, but Olympics, Women’s, Minor leagues and international leagues. Loved the summit section, such history there. The mask exhibit was cool with a nice shout to Plante for being the first to insist on a mask. Plenty of things for kids too, interactive shootouts and also goaltending drills. Had a wonderful time and for $20 or so a person it’s a superb value. The gift shop at the end is also nice, nothing outrageously priced.

Any hockey fan should visit this place once. The quantity of memorabilia is astonishing. Seeing the history of hockey right in front of you is beautiful. I didn't take many pictures because I was so busy looking at the expo and reading history. You can easily spend 4-5 hours in there.

This place has such beautiful architecture. Great displays, clean, quiet, and calm atmosphere. You can truly get lost in here. Awesome food court in the basement level with a wide variety of foods, extremely clean bathrooms despite how many people must walk through there. It's definitely a place to visit, even if it's once. Worth the trip.

I've waited so long to go here, wanted to enjoy it with my sons (hockey players). We finally got that opportunity recently and it was totally worth it. My boys and I were able to experience every element of the Hall. From exhibits of our idols to kissing the Cup, it was a day to cherish. I could have read more stories but they were antsy to do all the action centers so I may need to go back on my own. 😉 The staff was fantastic and helped with any questions, etc. You can tell that so many enjoy the experience to work there.

An absolute beautiful experience. So much memorabilia. Staff were wonderful, a word to the wise the entrance is downstairs, in the basement and leads to the spirit of hockey store. The games were fun for children and parents alike! Champion rings to the Stanley Cup. #localguides

Not exactly a diehard hockey fan, but I still found it incredible. It's a one and done deal, with the history of hockey. Seeing the old masks, helmets, TSN desk, and the amount of activities. There's a vault with the rings of teams, and you can even see the bands of old cups, as well as the true cup itself.

Great! None of us visiting are big hockey fans, but the Hockey Hall of Fame was fascinating for us. Lots of items on display, from all eras - we spent several hours here. Really recommended. The entrances is one level down from street level, you walk past the food court to get to it (we couldn't find it at first, and had to ask). Good that you get a stamp on your hand, so you can go out and back in again - we went out for lunch in the food court (good) and came back to look at more stuff.

Great for the entire family. There is a 30 min 3D movie to watch. Children and adults can test their skills at interactive shooting and goalie game. You can even sit down in a realistic sportscaster studio and call the game play by play. The Stanley cup room and vault are amazing to see.

An essential visit in Toronto! I got to touch the Stanley Cup. Truly a Temple to Hockey and all of the great people that have made the sport what it is today. The entrance is through a mall-style food court which is kind of weird but you can go out and back in. Don't miss the 3D movie and sit for the clips about each player inductee.

We are big hockey fans and spent three hours in here! It was a lot bigger than we expected. It was so interesting and the staff were really friendly and helpful - absolutely full of information and memorabilia about all things hockey. My only disappointment was that I didn’t see one mention of Ron Hextall haha

Fun museum with an incredible amount of history. Don't miss the interactive games that let you shoot pucks, be a goaltender, and become a commentator. Definitely a fun place to bring kids or family that are visiting town. Entry was $25/pp.

This is Mecca for any hockey player, almost a religious experience. Spent a few hours there. Not a kid anymore, but lot's to enjoy for any age. At 60, I still enjoyed the interactive games; shooting on a virtual goalie, and taking the net to stop a virtual hockey player from scoring. Really enjoyed seeing the Stanley Cup. Only chance a Leaf fan like myself will get close to it, so I spend a little extra time in the trophy room on the 2nd floor. Enjoyed the Gretzky and Howe exhibit. It should remain permanent as they are and were the greatest ever. On exiting you go through the gift shop. Purchased the new '72 Series book by Morrison. Lots of stuff to buy, but the real memorabilia is downstairs.

A very open yet crowded source of achievement. Stanley Cup right on display. A cool vault to store all the previous precious items. Lots of gear on display from famous players. A great place to take any fan of hockey!

Perfect place for any (ice) hockey lover, it has a huge amount of information about the sport- from players to team history and much more. As a person who doesn’t know much and only occasionally watches (Belfast Giants ftw), it was quite confusing but very educational!

The entrance is downstairs, very small signs that display this fact. I was a bit surprised that legendary hockey players like Gordy Howe and Rocket Richard were not as prominently displayed as much as players from the last 20 years. It is very cool to see the original Stanley Cup and the current one. Worth a trip to see all of this.

The Hockey Hall of Fame is a must-visit for any hockey fan. Admission is indeed not the cheapest, and if you're just curious, I'd advise against a visit. However, the trophies, old equipment, and hockey history were very interesting for me, though for my wife, it turned out to be a bit of a misinvestment.

I'm not a hockey fan but my husband is a fan and player. As a non-fan, it was interesting but still lackluster. I thought it was because it's not my sport but my husband thought the same thing. We had been planning to spend 4 hours or so inside (not knowing anything about it ahead of time) but we barely made it to 2 hours. There's a lot of displays for specific players (not necessarily HOF players) and some displays with historical hockey gear and the evolution of the gear. Then there's the actual HOF display room. I added some pictures for reference.

For hockey or sports fans around the world...this is a must to visit...it is interactive, the Gretzky-Howe collection is fantastic and there are lots of NHL jerseys and memorabilia to buy. All the exhibits and trophies on display are every fans wish to see. Staff are very friendly...plan on being there for a few hours. Well worth a visit to Toronto Canada 🇨🇦🏒🏒🏒🏒🏒

If you’re a hockey fan you’ll love it here. Bathrooms were a little dirty but as long as you’re only taking a number one in the men’s you’ll be fine. Modern and retro artifacts along with a special exhibition that’s been up for three straight years. Cup display is the real cup that was held by winning players with a model only being used during special events like an international game or Stanley Cup Finals.

  • 5/5 Dennis O. 8 months ago on Google
What a great experience to visit this museum of hockey. It is a history lesson in hockey from the greats like Bobby Orr and so many others. Opportunity to slap a puck and play goalie. The Stanley Cup was a plus. What a great visit.

Great experience, could easily spend all day here. Lots of interactive exhibits, and tons of photo ops throughout the facility. There is lots to read and checkout, and lots of exhibits that have extra features if you scan the qr code with your mobile device. Something for everyone here! Don't forget to check out Lord Stanley's vault and all the trophies upstairs. Get your picture with the cup for free (or purchase) and be sure to check out the gift shop for amazing products!

If you like or even love hockey, this is a must to stop at. It is great for all ages and easy to get around. So many cool things to see from NHL, IIHF, and much more. Clean and friendly. There is always one of 2 Stanley Cups here for pictures. There is even a gift shop here with plenty to purchase.

Great museum, even for a casual fan. Would reccomend.

A lot of memorobilia of NHL players. Also some coverage of international players, women, and amputees. A couple of interactive stations where attendees can shoot at a goalie or defend as a goalie. The gorgeous old bank building houses the major trophies, including the Stanley Cup. The 3D movie was interesting though I felt there was too much visual on players boarding each other.

  • 5/5 David L. 2 years ago on Google

I was in Toronto for the May Long Weekend and decided to make a day trip to the Hockey Hall of Fame. Let me tell you, I 10/10 recommend this for anyone whether they’re a hockey fan or not. From the history of the Stanley Cup to the origin of the Original 6, I was truly blown away. I will be back!

Must see for any hockey fan - spent about 90 minutes but that was up until closing. There was more to see so I'd give yourself at least 2 hours. Photo opportunity with the cup. Most things were open (post Covid) including a VR game that let's you do a shootout as shooter or goalie, comes with a free copy of the video!

Perfect destination for fans of hockey who want to walk around for a few hours and take a picture with the Stanley Cup. The architecture of the building is also beautiful and fun to look at for people that don’t like hockey.

Amazing collection of hockey memorabilia. NHL & international. I really liked the individual NHL team displays that included jerseys from their affiliate (farm) teams. Curious about the misspelling on the Norris trophy…

If you're a hockey lover, this place will be like heaven. It's surprisingly bigger than I thought it would be inside. Not only is it a museum of hockey memorabilia, but there's lots of interactive things inside as well. Plus, you can get up close and personal with the Stanley Cup!

The best! Chicago Blackhawks Fans and we were thrilled with our representation and all the hockey history. My husband did a play by play in the Sports Booth. I got great video lol! The interactive games are fun but a long wait. The 3D movie was great too. Everyone working there is friendly and helpful. And your in good company cause everyone there lives hockey too!

I've always said that if I'm ever in Toronto, I would be going to the HHOF. It did not disappoint. There is so much history in one building. The Great Hall was very cool. The Stanley Cup lit up in the middle of the room. WOW! All the award trophies placed around the room. Wow! All the names of players with a picture and a bio. Wow! We spent almost three hours wandering through this amazing exhibit. The only thing that sucked was the 3D show, not worth it. The gift store was lacking, but I cant say why, I just felt that it was missing something. If you're a fan of hockey and in Toronto, don't skip this!

  • 4/5 Sukmin N. 9 months ago on Google
Lots of interesting exhibits and definitely a must visit for hockey fans. However, it's not wide or extensive enough to warrant multiple visits over a long period of time. Be aware that the Stanley Cup on display is only a replica.

A hockey lovers destination! Amazing layout that flows from one themed area to the next. I arrived shortly after it opened for the day and it was not crowded at all. It was amazing. The addition of the exhibit honoring the legacy women in the development of the sport was very educational. The trophy room was so impressive. Do not forget to look up at the ceiling.

  • 5/5 Kevin L. 2 years ago on Google
This is a must see for any hockey fan. One of the best parts of our entire trip. Seeing the history was really inspiring and gave me a newfound appreciation of this sport. The interactive parts were a blast and any fan will truly enjoy them. Seeing the Stanley Cup and Lord Stanley’s Vault was frankly the coolest experience ever. The staff were all exceptionally knowledgeable and super friendly. I would 100% do this again if we return to Toronto.

I had the misfortune of attending this place recently Its dismal with nothing intelligent. A place of idolatrous worship where the little pagans go to idolize their little gods What a waste of space

If Cooperstown is #1 then the Hockey Hall of Fame is #1A.... But this joint does NOT take a back seat to any HOF that I've been too and one been to over 30 HOFs..... Superb place.... And a pic with Lord Stanley are you kidding me.....

  • 4/5 Carl N. 1 year ago on Google
As with all museums or exhibitions, they tend to get rather specialised, and the Hockey Hall of Fame isn't any different. It's a brilliant place for any fan of the game, a bucket list must if you will, but there is little to no contextualising the content. It's great to read about all the greats of the game, and of course to see their equipment etc, but I would have loved to get more background on for instance Vladimir Tretiak, the first HoF inductee not born or trained in North America, and his struggles with Soviet leadership to play in the NHL before retiring, or how legendary Maple Leaf defenceman Börje Salming helped pave the way for other European players in the 70s, and so on. The permanent exhibition on No 9, and No 99, Howe and Gretzky respectively, was excellent, though!

  • 5/5 Gary P. 1 year ago on Google
This is a must if you're a fan of hockey. The display of all the trophies and the Stanley Cup was a highlight. With the stained glass ceiling it really felt like an important place. There was really interesting displays for fans of every team. There were interesting interactive experiences for younger kids and a 3D TSN produced short film.

The Hockey Hall of Fame is a great place for hardcore fans and newcomers alike. It's rich in history, has a great display, and great interactive exhibits too. Next time you're downtown, make a stop at the hall. It's especially special during the hockey season so don't miss out!

  • 5/5 Exist T. 1 year ago on Google
We knew we had to make a stop here since Canada and hockey are synonymous! Love the irony that the building for this used to be a temple. Or was that intentional to imply that Hockey is a a highly regarded sport in the country ? 😂 Either way, we loved it! Learned a lot about hockey ! And the interactive exhibits added to the fun! We highly recommend this place !

  • 5/5 Greg B. 1 year ago on Google
This place is a must see, even if you’re not a big hockey fan. Lots of historic memorabilia, informative movies, interactive displays and of course the Stanley Cup. It was especially fun to learn more about Gordie Howe and Wayne Gretzky in their special exhibit.
