Currently the court of justice , used to be the city council of Toronto. They have kept the front of the building same as it's over 100 yrs old and as per downtown's code, it can't be changed. Anyways, this building stands next to Toronto Eaton centre and loved by all Torontonians.

One of the best architectures still standing in this town. Found some spooky stuff about it though. Courtroom 33 is rumoured to be haunted. There’s a theory that it’s the spirits of the last two men sentenced to capital punishment in Canada in 1962. In a rear stairwell, there are reports of footsteps being heard, plus judges have felt tugging on their robes. Moans have been heard in the cellars of the majestic old building, which was the holding area for prisoners.

It looks great from any angle especially when walking up Bay street. So much better than "new" city hall. Definitely worth the trip when exploring downtown Toronto.

This building is very confusing the frustrating to navigate when you are trying to get some paperwork done. The staff deal with a lot of stressed out and sometimes unsavory public but they always keep their cool and manage to deliver good service. Thank you for understanding my situation and helping me work through it. You guys probably don’t get the appreciation you deserve. Thank you again!
