The Building is the Centre of the City Political District. Sometimes remains me of Buckingham Palace even though the Political MP Leaders lead by the Premier are the Ruling Body of the Province of Ontario. Very pretty to look at especially at the season of Summer 😃

One of the nicer parks I’ve been to! Really enjoyed my time here. It’s not the biggest park but its very well kept with some great sights. I was able to walk it in 15-20 minutes and see everything I wanted to. The Lt governor building is amazing. Truly a unique building in the middle of Toronto. You have to check it out. Not sure if you can go in or not but I would imagine they do tours. I also love the view of downtown toronto you get facing the other way. There was even some sort of festival going on with a ton of different booths. There were books, food, clothes and more. It really addes to the overall vibe. Highly recommend!

We were hosting our Kidney Advocacy "TRANSPLANT 1ST" Day. It was a tremendous success as we got MPP's, Key Decision Makers & Stakeholders to attend and advocate for our cause.

One of my favorite place to go to during Fall season. Beautiful trees and Beautiful buildings. I love that it's located in the City and conveniently close to subway station. Its nice too during Summer time, if you work in the area to hang out and eat lunch on Lunch break.

I love Queen's Park, and during the pandemic it became one of my Offices, when I could no longer go into the Studio to work. It's one of the safer of TO's parks and there are lots of little spots if you want privacy for rest or to get a task done. The focal point of this aptly-named circular park finds itself in the centre surrounding a rather substantial statue (man-of-yesteryear on horse) Perfect for people-watching' or to strike up a conversation with an interesting looking stranger. The over-arching energy is established by the mostly University of Toronto students that hang out there as well as the dog and dog owners going about their business. Late night this park is certainly a hub for cruising -- particularly for gay men, which makes sense, with the Church-Wellesley Gay-bourhood in such close proximity -- Queen's Park indeed ;) And I mean that in no disparaging way. Toronto is one of the most socially progressive cities in the world, which is something to be well-proud of.

Huge green place compared to other parks nearby, offers plenty of places to sit and relax. Surprisingly no kids play area or slides, so young children may not enjoy a lot. Also, this is a preferred place for huge gatherings or peaceful protests, so need to choose the day carefully. No washrooms within the park.

Amazing building and area to view anytime of the year. Security a little tight but if you left them know why you're on the grounds at of Queen's Park then no issues. Great January day for walks and photographs. Queen's Park is an urban park in Downtown Toronto, Ontario, Canada. Opened in 1860 by Edward, Prince of Wales, it was named in honour of Queen Victoria. The park is the site of the Ontario Legislative Building, which houses the Legislative Assembly of Ontario.

Wonderful park with many easy walking paved trails winding through it. Amazingly quiet despite being in middle of a busy city. Many comfy benches throughout and a smattering of tables. Excellent spot to enjoy lunch, even during a pandemic! I've lived in Ontario for more than 60 years, and worked in downtown Toronto for 20, yet I had never been here before today, but I will be back when opportunity arises!

Nice, clean and small city park in the middle of downtown Toronto. A few people were having a picnic, others were reading, walking running bikes or jogging. It's located between the Legislative Assembly of Ontario and the Royal Ontario Museum. Good to have a nice stroll through a park.

As a resident of Toronto, I recently had the pleasure of spending an afternoon exploring the serene beauty of Queen’s Park, a verdant oasis nestled in the bustling heart of the city. Here’s why I would highly recommend this urban sanctuary: Historical Significance: Queen’s Park is not just a park; it’s a living testament to Toronto’s rich history and heritage. Named in honor of Queen Victoria, the park has been a beloved landmark since its establishment in the late 19th century. Steeped in tradition and surrounded by iconic architectural landmarks such as the Ontario Legislative Building, Queen’s Park offers visitors a glimpse into the city’s storied past. Lush Greenery and Scenic Beauty: From the moment you enter Queen’s Park, you’re greeted by a lush expanse of greenery that provides a welcome respite from the urban hustle and bustle. Towering trees, manicured lawns, and vibrant flower beds create a picturesque backdrop for leisurely strolls or peaceful picnics. The park’s tranquil atmosphere makes it the perfect escape for those seeking a moment of tranquility amidst the chaos of city life. Cultural and Recreational Amenities: Queen’s Park offers a⬤

Queen's Park is beautiful. I would recommend starting in the north, taking a stroll through the park, and finally enjoying the view along University Ave. For those who want to wander a bit, walking along University Ave will lead you to Nathan Phillips Square.

Visiting Queens Park with my daughter's Gr. 4 class was a pleasure. l was very young the last time I visited and I had a really good time. So many things to see. so much ground to cover. All the floors had a story. The kids looked like they enjoyed it and our tour guide was great. I wasn't aware they give FREE tours throughout the day Monday to Friday. If you are planning on visiting GO. Visit Queens Park in an afternoon.

Every half hour there is a 30 minute guided tour of the Legislative Assembly. Prepare to provide ID and to have your belongings put through security. A great little tour!

Beautiful building and the grounds are really well kept. My wife was at an appointment and I had to take my son somewhere so we we’re playing in the field out front. It could use a playground for kids. ( very fitting for a government building ) or the politicians. Would love to see Ford go down a slide. Seriously though I could not get over the detail on the building itself it is amazing.

A nice place to walk, plenty of space to move about and benches for sitting. If you are looking to exercise by running, jogging, or walking the park has a path that runs around the perimeter. After the renovations the park has a lot more lighting, so it definitely feels safer at night to walk through.

It's just a nice place to walk through and enjoy a little bit of grass and trees in the middle of the city. It's a quick 10 to 15 min walk from end to end if you just want to walk, or you can spend a lunch hour and enjoy the trees, statues and the provincial parliament building in a serene setting.

Really nice park and walk circuit. Summertime favourite of most Torontonians. Middle of downtown, its a really relaxing place to hang out. Grab a bench or get your own beachmat. Or even put in those steps jogging around the Queens park.

This beautiful old Victorian pile sits in splendour in its own park. We the people can use the very nice park (think miniature Central Park) just to the North. It will soon have its own subway entrance Line 1 south end of Museum station. This park has no additional amenities just grass and trees and benches. And oh yeah a bunch of statues of former kings and supposed grandees.

Queen's Park is beautiful. Lots of green space and gorgeous Tulip gardens and many trees. I was there for the Coronation Carnival celebration.. There were many families enjoying the lush, plush green grass having Picnics and children running around playing frisbee and dancing!!!!! It was a very happy, healthy celebration !!!! There was free food and free Carnival rides . Queen's Park is so beautiful...a massive green space and in the background are historic, characteristic old parliament buildings and structures. 🌳🌷🍔🎠🎡🤡🇨🇦🇬🇧

What can be said about the seat of the Government of Ontario and Her Majesty's Vice Regal Office. The Canadian ability to walk in through the front door is something we should never lose. I heard rumours that the Ford Government is implementing an American style security screening and I pray that this isnt the case. Security is obviously essential but, should be done in a warm and welcoming manner as it has been done through the years.

Perfect spot to distantly meet friends or colleagues, with close access to multiple TTC points. Very clean, extremely close to the gorgeous & picturesque UofT campus, & the provincial legislature. Only downside is the lack of public washroom nearby, particularly in a pandemic. But otherwise it's fantastic!
