I absolutely LOVE Medieval times, I've been there 3 times. Each time, I was lucky enough to try a different meal since I only had vegetarian option in the past, but they have expanded their menu, and cater to special dietary restrictions now. That being said, I don't go for the food, so I can't comment much on it. I love the garlic bread, and the tomato bisque soup is better than any restaurant tomato soup I have ever had! The show is SPECTACULAR! I will keep going back if I am able to, there's always a new story plot, I love the horses, and knights. Overall, its a wonderful experience! The servers are super nice, friendly, and hardworking, really appreciate the kindness and enthusiasm from everyone at the castle! <3

It was an enjoyable experience but probably wouldn’t go back for another 10yrs. Generous chicken portions provided leftovers for the next day. No need to arrive early - it’s mainly so you spend more time in the gift shop and bar before you’re allowed to enter the seating area.

A fun family event. It was well organized and a good pace. The full course dinner was quite good. They had vegetarian and gluten free options too. The portion size could be a bit smaller especially for the kids. They did give a take home bag at the end so that helped. Both adults and kids alike had fun.

Went there for today's 1:30 show. Absolutely amazing time. My child and I had a blast. So much fun, staff is great, and the atmosphere is really convincing. Clean facilities, lots of open space, and very clean overall. The entertainment was fabulous, and all the actors were amazing at their roles. Will definitely be returning.

Absolutely worth going. Always a great trip for all ages! I just didn't get a picture of the desert but all the food was fantastic. When your serving that big of a crowd it's not going to be piping hot when it comes. All food came warm🙂. It's a great show, lots to do before hand. Take the hour before the show. It's just enough time to enjoy the whole place🙂 we will be back next year!

This place is a must visit, the show was amazing. Staff are super nice and friendly. The food was good, however it has room for improvement. Portions are huge and well worth the money. They can make some upgrades so it will be more organized and food can be served in a better way.

Had a great time with my wife and 2 month old daughter. Bought the additional knighting ceremony package for her which was a great experience for us. Food was quite good, show was super entertaining, and our server was excellent. 100% would recommend this experience at least once in every adult and child's life.

I had a blast at the Medieval Times show in Toronto! It was like stepping into a time machine. The knights were epic, showing off their skills in jousting and sword-fighting. The atmosphere was electric, and I couldn't help but cheer along. The food was delicious, and the whole experience was unforgettable. Highly recommended for a fun night out!

A really fun place to bring your kids to that is for sure! Once is more than enough. The food is very minimal you are pretty much paying the price for the horse show. The atmosphere is very aromatic with horse droppings and the sand everywhere due to horse show so be prepared for that! The staff were all very friendly that is a huge plus.

A must-see family friendly event.. especially if the kids are young enough to appreciate wizards, knights and horses. You can buy a general ticket or a VIP ticket (which is worth the small amount more for the early seating, great seat location, banner to wave, and a bit of dessert). You will sit at a long shared table with 100s of other people around a hockey sized arena. Your section will be assigned a knight to cheer for.. and "serving wenches" will attend to you for the evening as you watch a dark ages themed tournament "Play" with a plot twist unfold before you. There are lots of cool lighting and pyrotechnic effects.. a live falcon will fly around for your entertainment (be sure to keep your hands down or you might end up with fewer fingers than you started with.) The story is good.. perhaps a bit too Game Of Thrones for younger kids to follow..but it keeps the action fresh. The food is basically a half roast chicken, half a potato, bread roll, half a cob of corn (a bit overcooked and chewy), tomato bisque soup (a bit cold). Dessert (if you buy a VIP ticket) is a bit of cake and a a little pastry that were probably frozen. You don't really go for the food.. you go for the fact that you will be eating exclusively with your fingers like they did in the 1400s.. but there are no court dogs to wipe your hands on so bring a wet nap or 10. Alcohol is only served at the bar out in the cavernous lobby.. so buy a beer before you come in. At the table you can get colas etc. The more you get into cheering for your knight the more fun you will have. I'd encourage you to go all in and boo the opposing knight (you will be assigned an "enemy") and cheer loudly for your champion. Knights will occasionally toss roses to ladies in the crowd. All in all, you've got to go at least once..sort of like Disney. It's a fun time that kids ages 6 or 7 and up will appreciate.. and the adults will have a good time too.

The people there are lovely. The horses look and act like they are well loved. The food overall wasn't bad, but you don't go there for the food. My family had a lovely time there. My son was very sad the next day because he said he missed it and wanted to go again.

Went on father's day and my family and I enjoyed the tournament. It was a little pricey for my family of four but I was able to get a coupon. When you see the production it's worth the money. You get a four course meal included for the price. The food is average, the corn, garlic bread and dessert were the best for me. You get served an entire half a chicken, even the kids and that's way too much, maybe the kids' portions should be smaller. There are no utensils you eat with your hands. I did rate lower for service because our waitress did seem tired and did not play the part. We still gave her a tip because it seemed to have been a long day for her.

A fun time for families & people of ALL AGES. Far more fun than I was expecting, brought me right back to childhood memories. The garlic bread & corn was quite good, entertainment was AMAZING & the actors were great with their roles. Highly recommend this experience for every child & too return as an adult has the same joyful feeling.

Great experience and great staff. Rose made our experience awesome! We have twin girls and she made sure we had a good view so they could see well. My girls loved every second of the show and experience. Highly recommend coming here if you have kids. My girls also dressed up in princess costumes. They had a great time 😃. We are coming back for sure!!!

Great for family bonding and exciting entertainment. Lots of food, so make sure you have space to eat all of it or make it to go if you can't ( using your hands to eat is one of a kind experience). Our server Alexis is awesome and patient, young lad. Thank you, and good job! Green Knight might not be the champion on our early family day visit, but he is, on our hearts. We highly recommend going to Medieval Times while spending time with your family and friends.

This is one of the best performance in North America! The show is very enjoyable. I feel like the actors really love what they do and they were so in their characters. Servers and other staff were very cheerful and nice as well. The dinner served was average, not stunning not bad. I guess no one comes here only for the food itself so it doesn't really matter. FYI I asked for a gluten-free meal. Instead of the garlic bread, I got a veggie platter including celery and carrot sticks paired with a creamy cilantro sauce. For the dessert, orange sorbet was provided while everyone else got a chocolate eclair. The rest of the dinner was the same as others.☺️ It will definitely be a wonderful memories of your lifetime. Come here with your family, friends and your loved ones🩷🩷

This is a really fun place to go! The show is awesome and the actors really suit the parts. Show was a full 2 hours. Food was good ...no utensils of course...but that made it more fun. Only issue is the pop was prepoured into large jugs so it's pretty flat when you get it. Overall though...highly recommend.

It is a wonderful show, far more fun than the expectation. It takes you back to medieval time and you would feel you were living in hundreds of years ago. The food are also very good especially the medieval soup. I’d suggest to provide half size of the children meal. It is good but too much.

I went to Medieval Times 20 years ago and this is my second time. It is still very entertaining and does not get old. It was so much fun. We screamed from the beginning to the end. There were no dull moments. The food portion is huge. The quality was decent. Don't expect fine dining though.

Truly one of the best experiences we had!!! An immersive time travel to the medieval times! We purchased a VIP experience and luckily our knight won! Expect to eat with your fingers which was delightful as you would pay much attention to what you have on the table. You will be jaw dropping the whole time! If you could pick, it might be a better experience near the entrance, where you enter the arena. As the queen and her advisor is there and you would be near the action. Also that’s where the falcon makes the dash and dip! You might see her close. The service is great! All the actors are thrilled to take photo with you it’s really an amazing family experience especially with young kids!

Worth the experience. The staff is really friendly and those who perform, the actors, are amazing. Love the horses too! The vegetarian meal was missing a few food items as compared to non-veg. So that was a bit disappointing. The servers are friendly and take care of your dietary needs. Overall an amazing experience and a must visit. Note for visitors: Parking is paid at $15 including taxes and make sure to carry some cash for tips.

Medieval Times Dinner & Tournament is an exceptional venue for a work event. The unique concept of combining a feast with captivating medieval acts creates a memorable experience. The jousting, sword fights, and falconry showcase thrilling entertainment that keeps guests engaged throughout. The ambiance of the grand castle hall adds to the immersive feel. The delicious meal served in a medieval-style manner further enhances the experience. The staff's courteous and attentive service ensures a smooth event. While the evening might be a bit theatrical, it fosters team bonding and sparks creativity in a fun way. If you're seeking a one-of-a-kind work event, Medieval Times is a top choice!

A really good fun and entertaining evening with decent food and a great atmosphere. If what you’re expecting is a full historically accurate event then you’ll be disappointed but if you fancy a bit of historical fantasy with swords, horses and princesses then you’re in for a great time! We really enjoyed our trip to the Toronto Medieval Times and would not hesitate to return if we were nearby again!

It’s worth it to visit this place! They serve you food while they entertain you. Actors and the horses acts so well! Also, the food is good (huge portion of the chicken!). Although, I wish there are more food options available. Overall, it’s such an experience to come here!

I have been to medieval times a couple of times with family and a school field trip. The family and students loved it! The show was quite entertaining and the food was great with very generous portions. My son who hates tomatoes, said that the tomato soup was the best! And he cant wait to go back for more. The staff/actors are amazing, very friendly and pleasant people. Definitely one of the best things/attractions to do in Toronto. We will definitely be going back again.

I've been to the Toronto Medieval Times Castle twice in the past 2 years and it is definitely one of the most memorable experiences I have had in quite a while. I went for my birthday celebration this time and I had a hell of a lot of fun. I think it was even better this visit. The new health and safety enhancements really make it even more enjoyable. I highly recommend visiting as soon as possible.

Take a break from the everyday hustle and bustle of life and enjoy a colourful presentation and meal. Filled with royal characters, story and things to see, this dinner and show has something for everyone. I especially enjoyed cheering for our knight during the events, and it was awesome to meet him afterwards. Took a lot of pictures and also bought the official photos from Medieval Times. Our server was really great too. Our kids loved the food especially the soup 😋 !

Always a great time. The show is entertaining, the food is tasty, there is plenty of it, staff are helpful, and its a great family evening. There is on site parking for $13. You get to see displays of falconry, horsemanship, jousting, hand to hand combat with swords and other weapons (that flail looks wicked!), and a show around the tournament. Its really fun with a section that's into it, cheering for your knight. Worth doing at least once. It was our third time as a family and it was just as fun. The extras can add up fast if you opt for them, like photos and ceremonies (my child was knighted by the Queen), alcoholic drinks, and such. So either plan to spend extra or plan to decline a lot.

We’ve been here several times over the years! Last night was the day of my birthday and it was the most memorable time we have ever experienced at mediaeval times! The horses are absolutely beautiful, the Knights were amazing! All of the exhibits in the main lobby area are so realistic of the times! So much fun to be had for the whole family. Inside the arena, Our green night was victorious! Our five-year-old had her first experience at the tournament. At first she was a little hesitant of the loud noise and cheering. Once the games began, I never stop yelling and screaming the whole night and by the time dinner arrived, our little one was standing on her seat cheering on our green night! Within 20 minutes, she had already said, can we come back again! Yes, we will be back again!

This is a great place to bring the kids for a night out. They will love it. The horses, costumes and fights are a great bit of entertainment. The cast are great and will mingle after the show to take photos too. The food is the weak point and having to eat with your hands makes for messy kids, but that’s not what you’re there for. It’s the show and the atmosphere that are the attraction and they do it very well. Parking was convenient right next to the venue. It’s public parking and cost $15 if I remember correctly.

1st time I've ever been. Took my 5 year old for my birthday. We were gifted VIP package and my son got knighted/sword. The staff and performers were incredible! All so friendly and helpful. Really madre it extra special. Truly. Great job to the team there!

This was my 3rd time here & each time was absolutely amazing! The atmosphere, the food, the service, the show & the prices are great at the gift shop & bar. I brought my fiance for his birthday tonight, it was his first time. He also enjoyed it! 100% recommend this experience for everyone! We upgraded to the celebrations package today & the price of upgrade was worth it.

Wow! What an amazing atmosphere! From the minute you walk in, every person is in full character. We took our 5 year old daughter who actually won Queen of the Tournament, I've never seen her more happy! Food was hot and delicious, service was above expectations. The gift shop had some amazing pieces, which of course we had to grab! Thank you to everyone who made our first time here one to truly remember! Go Yellow Knight!!

Totally a fun place to go with friends or family. Our 9 and 11 year old children loved it!!!! Lots to see to keep your interest before and after. The food was really good. Kids got to legitimately eat with their hands so they were in their element. I absolutely recommend this.

I have been many times over the years; this time, our visit was to celebrate my son's 7th birthday. First time for him to attend this venue. He loved it. 2 hours of fun and good food! We were impressed with the dietary accommodations- being lactose intolerant, the food choices were great! We got veggies and humus to eat instead of the tomatoe bisque/garlic bread, and orange sorbet instead of the dessert of the castle - which looked like cake and/or cheese cake. One word of caution for staff and patron, we also have a pea allergy in the family; as much as I appreciate the comment about the castle being free from peas in their food, the Veggie appetizer with humus, is not pea free. Thankfully, my son doesn't love humus, so I ate it - it was delicious! Aside from that cautionary word - the show was great - as always! The main meal was great - I remember getting a quarter chicken, now it's half a chicken.. thank you for giving us "to-go" containers, as I don't like wasting food. I recommend paying the extra for VIP seating. Thank you for a memorable evening. 💛

CUTLERY/PLATES WERE DISGUSTINGLY DIRTY 🤢 also service was VERY slow, and the food was terribly bland( chicken, corn ) . After we were done eating, the server came at the end of our meal and offered ketchup and hot sauce. I really wish those were offered before our meal. Throughout the whole show, I had to take caution that the server behind us wouldn’t drop beverages on my head!!!! they kept dropping their jugs of drinks on the floor. It was a mess. The show was very captivating. I enjoyed that part.

  • 5/5 Yana B. 5 months ago on Google
One of the BEST entertainment in Toronto. Whole two hours I could not take my eyes off the arena! The service was spectacular, separate thanks to Chris, our server, she was beyond amazing, cute, thoughtful, would love to be seated in her section again! We were first timers, so we had no idea that we can take our cups with us ( we took 2 white pints). When we got out we saw everyone took cups with them, but the arena was closed already. Thanks to Jack, he was so kind to grab our cups from the arena! Will recommend to everyone, and definitely be back with friends and family!

I had purchased tickets and attended this venue tonight for my girlfriends birthday celebration. I had only been once before, 14 years ago for a class field trip.. I found it enjoyable as a kid, but had my speculations that it may not be as good as I once remembered it.. Needless to say we both had a blast.. Medieval Times fully exceeded my expectations tonight. Amazing entertainment, paired with great food, an exciting atmosphere, and outstanding service from the waiting staff and bartenders. So whether you attend with kids, a group of people, or just a pair, I highly recommend this if you’re looking for a great night out. Thank you all so much for another great experience!!

I grow up in europe so to be honest i did not expect much from this experience specially if there is not even in a castle... HOWEVER, this medieval experience was so much better than I expected, super realistic, everyone treating you like my lady or my lord, the color division for team is a nice idea too and if you participate during the show supporting you knight it makes the experience even better. The food is a medieval experience completely, eating with your hands which makes the experience more realistic and fun. I would totally recommend it! It was a super fun night and all the performers were super accessible and nice in the end

  • 5/5 Steven E. 2 years ago on Google
Bought my tickets online and went with the family. They ask you the typical questions about covid before getting in and then you get to go in and take a seat. There’s lot of space and the food was pretty good. There’s also a vegetarian menu, which some of my family members took and liked. Overall, the service, food, and show were very good.

  • 3/5 Joe C. 4 months ago on Google
The attraction is the show itself. Kids love it and adults also find it entertaining. However the food is terrible. The roasted chicken is way too dry. The corn is tasteless. Only thing tasted ok is the beer.

  • 5/5 Shelley C. 2 years ago on Google
Definitely recommend the VIP package. Our meal was great! My 10 year old son loved the show. Only place that is highly appropriate and expected to eat with your hands. We will be going back for sure.

We found Medieval Times to be incredibly accessible entertainment. When booking our tickets, my husband didn’t see an option to alert the event of my service dog. Regardless, a wonderful manager sought me out before the show to ask if I needed extra time and space to get to our seats. I was so grateful for this accommodation, and it truly set the stage for a wonderful experience. She seated us with such respect for my dog’s working status and was incredibly helpful. I only wish that I had written down her name to thank her personally. From the flashing collar, to the spacious seating that allowed my service dog to comfortably lay and watch the show, it was wonderfully accessible for those of us with service animals. It was a refreshing delight to have it all thought out and offered without even needing to ask. THAT is true accessibility in action!

All staff very friendly . Very organized and efficient with covid safety measures. Show was fantastic! The horses are beautiful and the knights were too! This is such a fun experience for a special event. I came for my birthday and my partner paid extra for a few of the special additions. They announced my name and birthday during the show, we got a really cute commemorative photo, and a slice of cake with dinner! We got great seats and it was so fun to sit in an engaged seating section and cheer and chant for our knight, I feel like I finally understood live sports. The show was so engaging, acting was on point and fun with no major mistakes or awkward moments. Falconry, horse shows, and stage combat made for an amazing show! The food was quite good as well which was a surprise honestly. It's not amazing or anything special but for what we paid to see dinner and a show it was better than I expected. A great experience!

  • 5/5 K L. 1 year ago on Google
Great show 2 hours long. Safety nets and effects are prepared well. Eating with your hands was a bit odd, food portions were large (half a chicken, well marinated and not dry at all). Lots to see inside, meet the falconer and other performers, horses in the stables. Definitely worth getting the VIP passes.

Everyone should visit this place at least once in their lives. Great show and fun for everyone. The food was good. They served half of a chicken I was shocked! Too much especially for the kids. Anyway, a great interactive and colorful family show. Every family had their own table. Good social distancing. We were also guided out of the arena by tables so organized. We had fun. Well coordinated from start to finish.

Overall a great place to visit with family and children, large groups of friends or for a team outing. The experience is definitely one to remember, and I highly recommend going at least once in your lifetime. The atmosphere is very fun and really sticks with the medieval theme with clever twists and marketing. As soon as you get in the establishment, it is decorated from top to bottom with medieval knight's armours, banners, weapons, and etc. They also sell packages and items that cater to all ages, from toy swords and princess dresses to children, to collectible memorabilia and "knighting" ceremonies for the physical adults but kids at heart. The show is very entertaining and interactive. The actors / actresses are very professional and great at staying in character before, during and even after the show. You can interact with them and even ask for pictures. Atmosphere: 5 out of 5. As for the dining experience, they serve food in medieval themed plates and mugs, and do not provide cutlery so you have to eat with your hands which adds to the whole fun! They do serve a 4 course meal but the food is okay and is nothing extravagant. As for my personal dining experience, the cons are: soup came cold and the garlic bread came 15 minutes after, our server was slow and seemed very agitated the whole time, the soda pop beverage are too watered down, the corn was not seasoned well, and the desert eclair was served half frozen. Hence, the 3 out of 5 rating for food & service.

It was a fun experience, watching the Medieval show while having your meal. The food was okay. I like the crispy chicken skin, and also the bread. The rest was alright. The show has an entire storyline, but I wouldn't feel I want to watch it twice. After the show, we saw they braided the horses' tail. It is very cute! Haha

Love it!!!! I’ve always wanted to check this place and now I finally had the chance to. Walked in a little giddy like all the children that was in line. The doors are open an hour before the show so you’ll have the chance to look around the Lobby/Gift shop area. You’ll also have the chance to get knighted if you want before the Arena is open to the public. I thought majority of the crowd was going to be kids but contrary to that there just as much adults. You’re here for the experience and that really shows for the dinner part. Lol, eating your food with your bare hands and no gravy on the chicken, tho it was still savory. Guess that’s how they do it back in Medieval times. Come with an open mind you’ll have a blast, just enjoy the experience. And don’t be shy to cheer as loud as you can for your knight 🥰🥰

  • 5/5 Brandon M. 2 years ago on Google
This place is truly a gem. Amazing dinner (that you eat with your hands) which was delicious, particularly the chicken and soup. We love it here. The show is always great, and there’s a lot of interaction. Make sure you cheer loudly. The horses are all amazing but I’m partial to the falcon show. We go once a year. There’s less people due to COVID which we really liked.

My mother and I live in BC and my brother lives in Ontario. We bought him a dinner for two at this Medieval Times dinner theater in Toronto. The booking agent for this place was excellent! My brother and his wife were treated like royalty and they had an amazing experience! This was the best gift ever to give and I think it will be a yearly thing! They had more food than they could consume and he was thrilled at the performance.

It really is worth experiencing. They suggest you arrive 1 hour before the show. We didn't quite understand why, but once we got there we clued in. The lobby/bar area is a cash grab. There are gift shops everywhere. If you are going with kids, be prepared to spend $ on LED axes and swords. The show was very well done, and the food was pretty good as well. My chicken was served to me about 10-15 minutes prior to my veggies. It should have all came at the same time. Regardless, it was an awesome experience. I highly recommend you upgrade your tickets to VIP status.

The experience is just like how I remembered it as a kid. The horses and falconry were a highlight for me. The food was hit or miss; soup was good, dark meat on the chicken was good, but the white meat was super dry. Service was excellent. Audio could be better, I had a hard time understanding the performers when they spoke. They were excellent at addressing dietary restrictions.

Wow what an experience. Amazing show up by every one involved. On few occasions adrenaline was pumping hard. Food quality was good, servers were nice and courteous. For us the knight for red team stole the show. 👍👏 My photos don’t do justice with the ambiance and gallantry.

Great time as always here. Covid safety measures and social distancing made the crowd a bit sparse, but the cast and animals put on a great show regardless. It was a very entertaining time, and the two+ hours just flew by. Well done by all, and yes we enjoy the food just as much as the show! Pro tip: Parking at exhibition place is 15 dollars and they don't take cash!

Our party splurged on VIP tickets. Absolutely spectacular show from start to finish. The meal was very filling and tasty and the "wenches" were quite impressive with their ability to carry heavy trays and not spill anything. The performers were all very talented and some excell in multiple roles. In the gift area there are many different trinkets and toys, beautiful gifts, jewelry and costume pieces in addition to beautiful swords (though may set you back a few hundred)

Been here once before and it was as good as I remember. Lots of food, fills you up and the show still holds up after all this time, be sure to check it out

What an amazing experience! There is a gift shop to browse, photo ops, a bar (both in waiting area and the dining/tournament floor). And you get to keep your cup/mug/stein (8 to choose from). Food was plentiful and delicious. No cutlery given although it wasn't needed. And a meet and greet after. Ample paid parking lots nearby. 100% worth the trip here!

👍 Attended for my sons 4th birthday, and everyone loved it, especially the kids! Entertainment was great, food was good (take sauce for the chicken, we took ketchup/hot sauce). All the chicken is halal, so most of had chicken, while a couple of us had the vegetarian meal, both were good and portions are very generous - we had leftovers which we were able to take home. Kinda expensive but I guess it’s alright since it is a 2-hour show with live actors/horses. We got upgraded seats with cake, it was super close making the experience even more memorable - but again kinda pricey. Overall it was fun and we enjoyed it.
