A very pleasant trip around Lake Ontario Embarking from the Harborfront Center area (Queen Quay) Good Bar selections with reasonable prices. The food choices were okay, We had the nachos (not bad). I was there with my significant other. However, it's more geared to families. At least my Sunday 5:30 trip was. LOTS OF KIDS. The ship is a little congested with the quantity of people they allow on. Washrooms are located downstairs and you have to be cautious where you step, as there are dividers that you need to step over on your way to the restroom. They do have a very unpleasant ordor. My recommendation is to take the late excursion(1930hrs), as the chances of fewer children are most likely if you are looking for something slightly romantic. The crew and staff on board are very pleasant and friendly. They interacted well with both children and adults, giving them an opportunity to hoist the sales on the three mast. I arrived early and had a seat of my choice. However, I would have preferred to see everyone seated comfortably. There were people who appeared to be not very comfortable where they were seated. All and all, it was pleasant for me and mine.

Wow!! If you come to Toronto I highly recommended going on the tall ship kajama. It is perfect for family or date night. We got our tickets from groupon so they were a little cheaper. We weren’t able to book the 7:30 as it was full on the weekend we were in Toronto, from the other reviews & pics I would definitely do that next time we go. It’s 1.5 hrs but seems so much quicker than that. The sights are beautiful & you can order food and drinks on board.

We've tried the Kajama several times with friends and visitors and it has always been a relaxing and enjoyable experience. We always book the last trip 7-9 to see the sunset, and we always book the tickets online. The staff is always nice and helpful and the food/ beverage variety is good.

Awesome experience on the Kajama sailboat touring the Toronto harbour at night. Make sure to bring your camera and a GoPro with extra memory cards as you can get some awesome shots of the city and the activity around the islands. Also suggest to bring a light windbreaker as it can get chilly at night while on the water.

Beautiful experience. The journey started and ended right on time. Got to watch beautiful views of the skyline. The song selection was great. Loved it. They made it interactive by talking to us about the history and also did a small firework towards the end. Overall it was a really great experience. Everyone on the boat was friendly and welcoming. I wish they had some option to leave a tip not in the form of cash.

We were married on the Kajama on Saturday, July 9, 2022 and it was MAGICAL! Everything was fantastic! It was stress-free and the crew and the director took care of it all! Ceremony, dinner, wine service and dancing with karaoke afterwards. I had never seen the skyline so close-up, it was cinematic and stunning! Thank you for setting everything up for us, Shey! We will see you on our anniversaries!

Amazing experience! Beautiful, open-air deck, great music, nice selection of drinks and very friendly staff. The tour on the boat is scenic and just the right length of time. Highly recommended for everyone, especially for people just wanting to chill. Bonus if you book the sunset-time cruise!

Did the sunset cruise with my boyfriend and both of us had a great time! The views we saw were spectacular and the sunset just made the most beautiful colours. Highly recommend! You are also able to buy food and drinks (alcoholic and non-alcoholic) on board. The music was nice and the staff were super interactive and helpful. Buy your tickets on Groupon if you want to save on the ticket price!

Had a great time doing the sail at sunset/night. We had a good time. Even though the nachos are expensive they were very good. Definitely worth doing .

If you read the descriptions and reviews ahead of time, the Kajama delivers on expectations plus some. If you’re looking for true sailing or smaller private boat, this is not for you. There is a constant beat of mixed genre music playing while you calmly cruise out into Lake Ontario for some beautiful open-lake and Toronto skyline views with 50 or so of your not-so-close friends. It wad what we were looking for and the staff brought expectations up … cheerful, funny, and eager for people to help put sails up. Enjoy!

Highly recommended tour for any one visiting downtown Toronto. Pick a sunny day and you will be amazed with views, sun and all islands around. Price is very decent for such tour. Young fellows who are operating it are so nice .

This another fun experience in Toronto. The ship is historically. It awesome to ride on it. It wasn't crowded when we visited on Tuesday evening. Perfect weather with little breeze. View is wonderful. There are parking in the area. And taking a ttc bus is more recommended. Lots of cafes and shops before boarding. There are menus and bar on board as well.

Amazing experience, can't say enough about the boat and its crew. They played great music, they sang... shot a cannon off, bartenders were so nice. The view is honestly 10 x better then the pictures.

A boat cruise on a 165 foot tall ship boat Schooner leaving from Toronto downtown Harbourfront. I find the price $35 provides value sailing on Toronto Harbour and Lake Ontario. They even go close to the Islands, fire a canon, and sing. There is a mini bar offering drinks, snacks, and food. Washrooms are clean. Overall, I recommend this tour. Employees are very friendly as well.

This experience was great from start to finish. Very easy to navigate their website and book tickets online. Very easy to find where the boarding is, parking and ttc stops close by. Boarding was well organized and moved quickly. Need to wear masks while getting on and off the boat but once on you can leave it off except when going to the bathroom. You are seated with your group, spaced apart and while you can’t walk fully around the boat you can get up in your general area. All seats have great views leaving and returning to the Harbour. Sails go up and people can help with this, but there’s no actual sailing (but there is a set schedule to keep so I get this); a canon is fired. Drinks and food available, found service to be attentive and prompt. Finally, great views, especially at sunset. Highly recommend!

Ferry ride with tall ship Kajama was a great experience, I went with my uncle and his in laws. It is perfect for family getaway, date night or even just fun trip with friends. Staff was friendly and attentive. They offer beveeages and then provide food menu, simple yet feseable food options, we had nachos, it was good. Only constructive criticism would be to have better process to start checking ppl in. It tool over 30 minutes for us to get checked in

It was a good experience to sail on an Old style  boat with sails on mast.  The hot July evening  got better on boat  with cold breeze. There was bar  and food on-board We bought tickets online and arrived on time to avoid queup. The arrival and departure was ontime. The sitting arrangement wasn't comfortable, many people had to sit on life jacket boxes , due to lack of space. If one pays they should get a decent  place to sit. Lake Ontario is getting dirtier with time especially when compared to lake Huron or lake superior. The toronto skyline view was good. The best time to visit is around sunset.

An extremely positive and relaxing experience. The cruise is 1.5hrs long from 8-9.30pm so the Toronto skyline is clearly visible and spectacular you to watch from a distance. Great summer/early fall activity with friends/family

We recently visited Toronto for a long weekend and just by chance saw tickets for the Kajama. Do it. It's a super cool experience to see Toronto (we did it at night) and to ride on a ship with as much history as the Kajama. Early 1900s ship from Europe. Has been to arctic circle. What more do I need to say? Oh, they have cheap drinks :D

I found this on Groupon easy to use ..the staff specifically Lukus, Ben and tang were amazing they are so understanding, friendly and helpful. Best place in toronto to have a date night or gathering. The food was really good and fresh, there are many different boats you can choose from, they do turn on led light in the night which was great and the dj was playing the best playlist couldn't ask for a better time .. the captin is so funny 😁 and can answer any question you have about the service or boat ...I will definitely be going back

A nice experience. This one wasn't as interactive as other tall ship cruises I've been on but the views were excellent, the staff were pleasant, and the boat ride was comfortable. I have a new preferred harbour cruise venue!

The food/drinks and customer service was good! They advertise rain or shine because they have a canopy on the boat, but what they fail to mention is the canopy covers maybe 20 people seated and 30 (side by side standing). On a sold out boat of maybe 70+ people, it’s guaranteed the majority of folks will get soaked and will be uncomfortable for the 90 minute boat ride, which is what happened in our case. Recommendation: install a canopy on the other side of the ship to accommodate most passengers in the event it rains! It shouldn’t be a race to who gets to sit under the canopy first …

Absolutely wonderful experience. When we went at 5.30, there was one later but this one, we got to see sunset, drinks and food available to buy and they take your picture on board if you want to buy. Trip lasts about an hour and they take you up the straight and out of the harbour. With views of the Toronto harbour coming and going. You can pre book your tickets or buy at the harbour booth.

We had a good time sailing this nice ship with our family and friends while touring Toronto. We came with both families (a party of 12) and there was practically no line to buy the tickets. The views from the ship are phenomenal. Both the city view from the harbor and the South Island are seen very well. The guides on the ship explain a little of the ship's history, which I found entertaining. It's a nice ride and a good time. It is, however, quite expensive. With 4 kids, 4 young adults and 4 adults, it cost us about CAD 450.

Oh, let me tell you about my incredible time on the Tall Ship Kajama! It was a steal at just $43 per person, and we could even grab some yummy food onboard. We picked the 7:30 pm slot and boy, were we in for a treat! The sunset and CN Tower view were out of this world, and with that cool breeze, we couldn't have asked for a better summer adventure on an old ship. You gotta try it if you wanna have a blast! 🌅⛵️

We went to Kajama as part of a privately hosted party. It was a pleasure to be on board. They have helpful and well behaved staff. Clean washrooms! There was a DJ as well, but not sure if he's affiliated with Kajama or not. Overall worthwhile experience.

It's an amazing experience sailing with Kajama. Choose the 7:30 sail, you will catch the sunset from somewhere in the lake and by the time you get back you get a beautiful night view of the town. Crew is young but exceptionally friendly and professional.

Great atmosphere on Tall Ship Kajama, everyone chilling out to sea shanties and lively music. The crew were great and part of the trip. Food was tasty and inexpensive. Went on this cruise when last in Toronto and will do it next time we're here.

What a great way to spend a couple of hours for $40 per adult (all in). A giant schooner, drinks and food with servers and an unforgettable view of Toronto. Very friendly staff too.

We paid the extra $5 for the 7:30 sunset sail and it was definitely worth it. The views were amazing! The sail was great, and the staff were all friendly and enthusiastic. Great vibes and would definitely recommend for anyone of all ages!

Did the cruise on Jun 25. It was a great experience! Fun, relaxing vibe and impressive views of the skyline. Favourite part was when the crew invited guests to help with putting up or down the sails! Just note that the cruise route is not very extensive and there's not a lot of commentary, so it seemed to be more suitable if you're looking for a unique and affordable way to relax rather than if you're a first-time visitor looking for an introduction of the city.

The boar left late and got back right on time, so I feel a little cheated. The good service is super slow. Either order early or don’t order food at all. The kids had an ok time. It was a little boring for them.
