What a beautiful beach. Dog friendly. We had great time with our dog. People were super nice. Nice partys, games on the beach, great music, also they have big bathroom to wash ourselves and water to drink. Great great ambiance. The only negative point, at this place of the beach, there are little stones to walk over to get the water. A little bit annoying compared to another position around the lake but nothing to consider 4 stars instead of 5. 5 stars is well deserved. :)

An immaculate beach with a great boardwalk, a lovely cafe that serves excellent ice creams, coffee, and a few items to eat; they have a food truck that operates with a decent menu next to the restaurant operating only in summer. The other side of the beach has beautiful, very well-kept parks, the perfect place for a picnic in the summer. The barbecue pits and swings for small children in the gardens make an ideal place for families. Summer are lovely at the Woodbine beaches. A musician plays piano in the garden most of evenings; on a good windy day, you will see many surfers riding the waves and the sky full of kites. A few operators also set water sports like jet ski, kayaking, etc., for the season. If you like beach volleyball, this is the place for you. This beach has countless courts. Just get your stuff with a few friends and spend your day playing here. The beach has a new club too, an expensive but excellent place for some drinks on the beach. In case you want a cheaper options, there are a few not that expensive places too. In a nutshell, it's a great beach. Drop by and enjoy.

Woodbine Beach is a beautiful place to spend time year-round. It has a long and wide wooden trail that goes along the water. The beach does get crowded in the summer but, the beach is large enough to accommodate everyone. For those feeling sporty, there are options many options like boating, volleyball, and working out at the outdoor gym. Woodbine Beach is a popular place for photography and jogging. There's a great restaurant on the beach (Toronto Beach Club), a Tim Hortons, and an ice cream truck.

This beach is one of the best beaches in the GTA, it’s massive and although it gets crowded, you can still space out. Parking is an issue if you arrive late, and might need to park further to get to it. The crowd tend to be younger with some families, and the vibe is always on with people doing all sort of activities. A must try if you haven’t been yet

Excellent beach with a wide stretch of coastline I guess for almost 10kms. No parking guys, you have to buy it.

It has a long and wide wooden trail that goes along the water. And comes with a beautiful sandy beach. There are plenty of volleyball nests that can be used by public. It's suitable both for families and young generations. It has free parking, but if you are going during the weekend or holiday, there would be no spot left after 10 am.

We just went for a swim here at the Beach. Even though it's very crowded, especially in the summer, there is a lot of space to have a private space for yourself. It's such a calm place, and the perfect place to spend some time with your friends. The fireworks show here for Canada Day was class too.

There's nothing more beautiful than the way the ocean refuses to stop kissing the shoreline, no matter how many times it’s sent away. At the beach, life is different. Time doesn’t move hour to hour but mood to moment. We live by the currents, plan by the tides and follow the sun. Smell the sea, Feel the breeze, Hear the ocean, Be at ease.

I simply love this place. Beach, nature and some really calm spots for contemplation. The water tends to be cold, but it could be refreshing on a warmer day. Great infrastructure, with washrooms and a changing room available (at least in the summer). The whole area is one of my favourite places in Toronto.

Renowned as one of the finest beaches in the Toronto area, this beach truly lives up to its prestigious blue flag distinction. Its prime location offers a wide range of enjoyable activities such as swimming and kayaking, providing visitors with the perfect opportunity to bask in the refreshing waters safely. The presence of constant police surveillance adds an extra layer of security, while diligent lifeguards on duty ensure maximum safety for all beachgoers. One of the most enticing aspects of this beach is its low current water, making it an ideal destination for a tranquil and secure beach experience. Exploring the surroundings on two wheels is a delightful option with the availability of biking trails, adding to the overall enjoyment of the beach trip. Sports enthusiasts will find their haven here with the abundance of beach volleyball courts, creating the perfect setting for friendly games under the glorious sun. Moreover, the well-maintained public washroom facilities provide visitors with a pleasant and hygienic experience throughout their stay. In conclusion, this beach offers a remarkable blend of safety, natural beauty, and convenient amenities, making it an excellent choice for a day of relaxation and recreation by the waterfront. Whether you're seeking a serene escape or an active beach adventure, this beach has something delightful to offer to every visitor. 🏊‍♂️🏊‍♀️🏊🛶🏖️⛱️🏐🏐🏐

The beaches and homes are one of a kind. The houses remind me of south beach. Woodbine Beach Toronto has many walks and boardwalks. Pedestrians and bikes allowed. Popular place each year for Volleyball and very well known for all the summer games. Parking can be an issue on summer weekends. Boat launch ramps and designated parking for those with boats.

You will forget where you are. Nice beach closed to downtown, many places to eat and drink on nearby Queen st, reachable by streetcar 501. Here is public pool and volleyball courts as well. Don't need to bring with you paddle boards, small boats or stuff like that. Connected with bike trail.

Great big beach in Toronto. Free parking Mon-Fri until 5pm. Tons of beach volleyball nets, great facilities, food vendors. Lifeguards on the beach and in the water on row boats. Very shallow which is great for young children. Separate area on the beach to put kayaks and paddle boards in so you don't have to worry about swimmers. Woodbine park is right beside the beach with picnic tables and lots of shade. Only thing is it's a long walk to the lake from the parking lots due to the size of the beach and there is no shade on the beach so come prepared.

Cycled here from downtown. Not a pleasant cycle as industrial but cycle paths are mapped and easy to follow.Only one road with no cycle paths. Busy beach with loads of volleyball going on.Good eating places.Very busy with families and lifeguards are strict.Good boardwalk which goes for miles. Nice to see where and what the locals do. Enjoyed our visit

Large beach, always space to set up. Sand is nice but water is always cold, what else can you expect at Canadian beaches? However, Taking a dip is refreshing though. Tons of volleyball courts if you’re into that. Arrive earlier in the day to avoid crowds, before 2-3pm usually is quieter, parking is always kinda crazy though unless you come first thing. Knocking off a star because washrooms can get gross by the evening and food options are very limited on the board walk. However is a is nice restaurant with a patio, a cafe, booster juice and burger joint a short walk from the boardwalk.

Amazing boardwalk, great views, a sense of calm. Benches along the way for you to sit, reflect, and just be. Love this public space. People do cold dips in the morning, yoga on the beach, SUP in the summer, run along the boardwalk, and just hanging out. Well used throughout the year. Public washrooms scattered around Woodbine Beach and surrounding Beaches area.

Woodbine beach is a really great place with a great view to chill, play, and spend a day! We had such a fun day! The Saturday we went wasn’t crowded at all which was good. Easy to find a parking spot. Wait to watch the sunset too as it worth it! Definitely worth to go! My Instagram: arghavan__beauty

This beach is chock-full of beautiful scenery and the water is amazing, however, there is excess algae in the lake. The board walk is very far away from the water in most places except near the end which results in a long walk filled with sand or burning feet. The actual beach part is definitely not wheelchair accessible because there is no boardwalk protruding close into the shore. There are also a few food trucks which is great. Overall I would rate this a 4/5 because at least for the average (abled) Joe, it will be a great time.

Pleasantly surprised by Woodbine beach! I've came here on 2 different occasions. Typically, on weekends the beach is quite jam packed with patrons - for those who are looking for a interesting social setting, it might be a great time to visit then. However, I have revisited the beach during the work week and it is quite peaceful. I was surprised to see the beach so empty and the vibes were excellent. Also to note: there are accesible bathrooms and an assortment of restaurants near the board walk. Definitely check out woodbine beach if your trying to find a quick getaway that is relatively close to the city. Fantastic!

The beach location is easily accessible from the lake shore drive. There is a TTC bus stop right next to the beach providing easy access. Car parking is available but limited. It costs about 1.25$ for every half hour. The parking location can get super crowded on weekends and in summer. Best to come by TTC during those times. There is a Long boardwalk that connects all the beaches along the lake. Lot of people do exercise walking and jogging here. There are lots of dogs here too. You can come here and relax on the benches for people and dog watching. The beach is a long walk from the board walk. Definitely recommend to visit here.

Woodbine Beach is a great destination to visit in Toronto, year-round. Visiting in the summer offers lake front to swim, boat and a sandy beach area to sunbathe. You can find volleyball players at the multiple outdoor beach volleyball nets most of the year and surfers catching the icy cold waves. The long boardwalk and parallel asphalt path offers a scenic walking, biking or roller blading route along the beach for people of all ages and fitness levels. This is a regular beach that I visit in Toronto and would highly recommend.

This is one of the most popular lakeshores in the Greater Toronto Area. It is so popular among Torontians that If you go there in weekends and holidays, you cannot find a parking spot in the designated paid parking areas or on the side streets. After failing to get a parking spot three different times, last Sunday, we went there by ttc (public transportation.) We were extremely satisfied with the ttc service. 92 Southbound from Woodbine subway station takes you to the shore in fewer than 15 minutes. It is a prodigious lake shore, ideal for many activities. Thousands of people of all ages can be seen enjoying themselves at the enormous waterfront. In my perspective, its popularity is because of the immense sandy coast, lots of picnic and playing opportunities, more than 3 kilometers of paved walking trail and a broad boardwalk running parallel to each other and the lakeshore, and eateries to enjoy a hot beverage, grab a hotdog, or an ice cream of your choice from a variety of enticing ice creams. My wife and I had a very exhilarating evening spent at the woodbine beach.

I love this beach! It has two dog parks one open and one closed off there both big parks lots of space for your dog baby to run around, the views are just gorgeous 😍 👌 there's lots of little hidden trails you can walk around or if your looking for a nice private space to clear your mind. Woodbine Beach also has two parking lots one on each side of the beach, lots of volleyball courts & a tennis cort also. Olympic pool, two bathroom locations and some really great places to eat..I wouldn't recommend the hotdog truck, unfortunately I had a awful experience with the food my hot dog was over priced and undercooked.. if your looking to have a BBQ this beach has over 15 different bbq pits. Just be respectful when at the beach pick up after yourself.

Woodbine Beach is a fantastic summer spot where you can catch a tan, go swimming, dine, or ride your bicycle/scooter along the long, scenic bike path running parallel to the beautiful lakeview coastline. There is a vast volleyball area too where hundreds of people are playing at any given time. There are also little chalets where you can take the whole family and have a big ol' barbecue as well! In addition, several quaint parks with historical landmarks such as a century-old library, a Beach Club further east, and many more. When the weather is nice, this place is definitely where to be, there is something for everyone. If you haven't been here yet, be sure to check it out in the summertime!

Woodbine beach and Ashbridges Bay Park are my favourite spots in the city of TO. Equipped with secluded benches entrenched in nature, park-provided grills, stunning views of Lake Ontario, a picturesque marina, closely accessible washrooms, adequate seating almost everywhere, topped with a sandy beach. This place has it all. It is always worth a visit.

We had a great time at Woodbine Beach in the summer, soaking up the lively vibe. There were plenty of young people around, music playing everywhere, and if you fancied it, you could cool off in Lake Ontario. We gave it a try, but man, was it cold! Despite the noise, the beach is a perfect escape from the hustle of downtown on beautiful days. It's a great spot to unwind and relax.

The best place to take a walk in the early evening. Very busy in the summer on weekends but nice and quiet in the cooler months. Great sunsets. Can also grab food from the truck during the summer.

An awesome place to be connected to nature, whether alone, with a loved on, your pet, or a big family/friends gathering. There's beach, parks, bbqs, lots of green space next to sandy beaches. There's trees away from the beach for hanging hammocks or kids to climb, or just hiding from the sunshine. There's a few washrooms scattered around & a couple of food trucks, it's not also so far away from Queen St where one can find a few places to eat. Enjoy your outing and as I always say "Don't take anything form there or leave anything behind"!

Cold and refreshing water and warm sands in July/August! Lots of space, doesn't feel cramped so long as you aren't right on the waterfront on the weekend. Many public volleyball courts as well. There's a few places where you can enter from the boardwalk and wash the sand off of your feet/shoes. Great place for the whole family

Fun public spot to enjoy the last days of summer and soak in the sun. It can get pretty busy at peak hours - with parties and lots of activities. There is a washroom but with a lot of human traffic. The water is clear and there are life guards.

Amazing place to enjoy your weekend, especially if you love beach volleyball. They have free courts that you can carry your equipment and spend the whole day out there. Plus, benches and fire pits for BBQ at the park side. It becomes one of my favourite places for every weekends in summer.

It would be surprising to know this is the largest of all the beaches in Toronto across lake Ontario and this is a man made beach. The place is pretty famous for sunbathing, beach volleyball, swimming and surfing. Very few beaches in Toronto are open for bathing and this is the one. The place is well connected with the TTC and public transport. They have a dog park and boardwalk across the beach and most of the winter station installations are done on this beach. Would highly recommend it to everyone in Toronto for some weekend fun in the city if you're craving for a beach.

Nice beach to swim. But there is a lack of seating arrangements and it's crowded. If you wanna walk in a calm environment, it's not the right place for you.

Best beach ever, clean and good young crowd but food options are very limited (Booster juice, ad hoc food truck and a restaurant with some limited options )...

Beautiful beach. The crowd is great. The beach is mostly clean and has the washroom and shower available. The food trucks are also present selling hotdogs and burgers and Cafe is available on site. Only struggle is to get a parking on a Beautiful and sunny day

Best beach in Toronto. Sometimes they have art installations at the beach, and those are always a fun addition to the neighborhood. Great facilities, very clean, public washrooms and lots of space for recreational sports such as volleyball, soccer, kite flying, and parks for children.

My old stomping grounds, beautiful memories here. Took my granddaughter here to celebrate her birthday with some friends. I walked the boardwalk, a beautiful place to have a picnic, go for a walk, take a swim in the Olympic pools, or on the sandy beach. Lifeguards on duty when beach is open.

Surprised to find such a beach in the city! Great beach with sand and view. There is also space for beach volleyball and picnic/BBQ. People here are not the most educated. There is a board from the city with regulations which I found people violating everyone of them.

Awesome beach. The water was clean. Beach was also very clean. The crowd was good. Fun to go with family & friends. There is a park too where anyone can sit, eat, rest with a view of the beach.

👍 Good food as always! Convenient. Kids friendly. One star less because in the men’s washrooms there is no arrangement for baby diapers change. I managed it somehow but for a single dad with baby it is not convenient. I hope management would put up something to resolve it. Thank you.
