I took a guided tour inside the building, which starts every half hour. The guide was very friendly and knowledgeable, showed us the building and shared a lot of interesting facts about the history of the building, different politicians and the mace. :) Beautiful building inside and outside, don't miss it when you are visiting.

Best place to visit. We visited the legislative building today. Due to coronation of King Charles III-everything was free. No ticket has to be purchased while entering, also all rides in carnival were free too. Its a historical structure and a good place to visit. While entering you have to go through a security check-kind of airport security check. There was a guide too who explained every side of the building. There is a souvenir gift shop too inside the building. All staffs were super welcoming and well behaved. Overall it was a good experience.

We took the tour guide here. It's at every 30 min of the hour. It's been a great experience. Great for tourists, kids, or even locals like me who's never been interested in politics. ☺️

Unfortunately, I was only able to see it from the outside, because the building was closed due to Labor day. I can say for sure that it looks great (again) from the outside and I can't wait to see it when I come back to Toronto.

I visited this place with my classmates. I must say that the greatness and beauty of this place thrilled me, just note that the entrance gate is like an airport, and you can't take anything like spray, etc. with yourself. In addition You can't in the legislative assembly of Ontario take videos but you can take pictures if you want. So I highly recommend this place for knowing more about the history of CA.

Amazing building with massive architecture. Love the traditional interior decor and the windows are massive. I attended a Eid Milan celebration event hosted by Ahmadiyya Muslim Community and the room was getting very warm due to the large number of guests. But as soon as the window was thrown open, cool air from 100 ft above ground rushed in and what wonderful breeze it was. Looked well mainted as well. There is also a cafeteria with some restaurants in the basement.

The legislative assembly of Ontario is a magnificent building in both its exterior and its interior. I visited it as part of the Doors Open Toronto initiative. The exterior brick is beautiful in both colour and in its ornateness. The building was built at a time where electricity was at its beginnings, so there are many windows inside the building to let in natural light. Highly recommend.

A rare, historical and beautiful place next to UOT. Recommend to join the inside out tour (book online) Tour guide is of high quality and tell story about the building and people. Especially like the self portrait of former MPP, some are super stylish and fun. Can also see the queen’s mace.

Built in the late 19th century, the building of the Legislative Assembly of Ontario is a hard one to ignore. I'm not necessarily fond of buildings that are built to impress and convey a message of power. This one has features that soften its imperialistic penchant, such as pink bricks, but its style is still unmistakably inspired by similar structures that were built around the same time in several Commonwealth countries.

I went into the building as a visitor ( there is a guided tour open for the public ; make sure to bring a piece of photo ID and you will get through the security check before the tour ) It was a super informative tour and such a great experience to see the inside of this magnificent building.

I got to see Queen Elizabeth II here on what was her very last visit to Canada. Her majesty was radiant as always and it was quite the thrill to be less than an arms length away!

The 30 minute tour was free. I appreciated the price, and I did not expect a full history lesson of the building, it’s architecture, and the Legislative body. I also appreciated how courteous the security staff were. The building, displays, art, and history are what make this tour worthwhile. However, the tour and the information relayed could be improved significantly. Maybe it was the tour guide, who seemed annoyed by some of the questions raised. The tour guide spent 10 minutes total throughout peppering the group with sometimes interesting and sometimes random information, and then let the group meander aimlessly in between. This tour would improve with substantive and poignant information delivered in a cohesive presentation.

Easy to find and accessible. We went to the workplace of Doug Ford to end poverty amongst those who are disabled. Why minus the one star? Doug Ford was nowhere to be found. One day Doug, you too will have a disability. Time to stop legislating poverty amongst seniors and those with disabilities now.

Visited on Doors Open Toronto weekend and it impressive to see the history and architecture of the building. Can't wait to go back and explore more next time it's open for free.

The tour is free for visiting the Legislative Assembly of Ontario in Queen's park and the staff can explain the history of the building detailed . The appearance of the building is beautiful and like a castle. Also, the interior decoration is delicate and richly symbolic. There are seven Grandfather and each animal has different meanings, including wisdom, Love, Respect, Bravery, Honesty, Humility, and Truth

Very nice tour of a very nice old building. Free just stand in line for 10 mins. Tour is guided even. Annoying but the security check us very rigorous, they go through everything. You must have photo ID. But inside is nice (and warm). The highlight is parliament room. Definitely do this when in the city
