It was an amazing experience to see Niagara Falls from the sky wheel. We took a fun city pass which was about around $106 dollars and covers five attractions nearby including sky wheel. The view of the falls was really nice to see. They have dedicated place to park the stroller if you traveling with kids.

Nice looking ride and great views for sure. A little on the pricey side but everything is in Niagara falls. We had a good time. Go at day time!

For you and your family, this is a very affordable experience. The wheel rises to such a height that you can glimpse the magnificent Niagara Falls. The ride lasts around 8 minutes and goes around three times. This was very incredible. It was a lot of fun. It is suitable for people of all ages. There are a lot of positive sentiments. The best area for kids to hang out late at night! I strongly advise you to give it a shot.

I generally like to do these sorts of sightseeing gondola Ferris wheels around sunset, which I did with this one. I'm not sure that's the best time to go, but then again, I don't think it's the best view of the falls either. You *can* see both falls from the top - better the American falls, but it's a bit far from the Canadian horseshoe falls. I didn't try the Skylon Tower, but I bet it has a better view of the bigger falls. As for the sunset, it sets on the opposite side of your view from the falls, so it's not a great sunset view, and the light doesn't hit the falls in any way. But it can still be nice. There are 5 revolutions total, and plenty of time to see the view very well. The gondolas are air-conditioned, and you can mute the music in the cab if it gets too annoying. Note that you can buy a ticket at the base of the Skywheel, and there's another ticket booth out on the street. This one was much less crowded on my middle-of-the-week visit and I could walk right on. If you buy ahead of time, you still have to check in at the booth with the line, so there's not much use. Make sure to find the $1 off coupon that's available online or get a package deal for the best value.

A great way to get a view of Niagara Falls! This was my first time on the SkyWheel. It was $23 for me and my daughter to ride. The wheel went around 5 or 6 times so I felt it was worth the price. It's big too and high. I was a little freaked out the first time around 😳 at how high it was but there was no rocking or anything and it was comfortable in the sky pod. Everyone wore their masks inside and it was well ventilated. They cleaned the pod as soon as we got off too. The line was fast, maybe a 2 minute wait to get on. We really enjoyed this as part of our stay in Niagara.

We've been on this a couple of times and it's been so great every single time. The view of the falls is mesmerizing and otherwise the view of the Niagara city is also amazing. Definitely to get on if you're visiting the place. It's right next to the Clifton Parking Lot. The price is very reasonable compared to the number of rounds. Very comfortable and stable ride. The staff is good and friendly. When our parents/in-laws visited, we made sure to bring them here. Very nice views.

love it. nice to go on at night to see the night view of the Niagara Falls downtown. it is also nice to go in the day time!! The staff sanitize the seats and spray clean the cart before we get in. The overall experience was very good. I definitely recommend to go on the skywheel if you are there

Good view of the falls and the city. The car was air-conditioned and felt very stable. They play the same 3 songs over and over again, but you do have the option to mute it. Worth doing, but maybe not worth standing in line for a long time.

You should try it Brought some friends visiting from Spain on a Thursday evening. We got our tickets and seats really quickly. Admission was $17 per adult. I would say the ride lasted about 12-15 minutes. We got 4 full rotations, so there were lots of opportunities to take photos. The last 2 rotations went slowly as they let off other passengers. We got a great view of Clifton Hill and the dinosaur mini putt lit up at night. The view of the falls lit up is much better than in my photos.

I've done this several times both in the day and evening. The wheel at night is best for a romantic experience. The day is better if you want to take in the sites. I would say limit your expectations though it's simply a ferris wheel. If all you want is a good view the more cost effective option would be to go to one of the many restaurants with a view of the falls which are higher than the wheel. That being said there is something fun about it that's not captured in the restaurant experience.

For the price its good especially to get the highest view of the falls. Its great for a big party or family. The pod as ac so its a good escape from the heat. The view is nice but I dont think the wheel itself needs to go around more than 3 times.

The most famous amusement park attraction in Niagara Falls that is a must try. I recommend going on this Ferris wheel at night, as you get a brilliant view of the horseshoe falls lit up with multi-coloured lights. You can get a full view of both the city and the park. The ride does three rotations then stops to allow people to get off. These stops occur near the top of your ride to enhance the viewing experience. It is quite a long ride especially for the price. I recommend it highly!

I visited Niagara Skywheel this summer 2023, and I had a good experience. I paid $15 for a ticket, and I expected to get a panoramic view of Niagara Falls and the surrounding area. The ride was smooth and it lasted about 10 minutes. I think it was a good way to see the falls from a different angle especially if it was your first time. I also think that kids would love this place, as there are a lot of other attractions and activities nearby.

Completely recommended if it’s your first time in Niagara. It gives you a great idea of what this city has to offer. The view is amazing and makes the trip worth it. Ride isn’t expensive either. $14 for 10 min approx isn’t too bad for the experience lived.

Awesome experience. I do wish it lasted a little longer, considering the price. But other than that, it was great! Nice views. They really need to clean the windows inside the cabins though. Super dirty, so hard to enjoy the view!

Was an awesome experience. The ride is smooth and pleasing. The staff is nice and friendly. Although they've stopped selling the fun pass which used to include mutiple rides/ games. However, I'm so glad things opened up after COVID. Would highly recommend this place.

Long line but worth it!! It’s odd you buy your tickets online and still have to check in at the Kiosk, there is no scan mobile ticket at the line. It’s a bit overpriced, $50 for a family of 4 (2 toddlers), but the scenery is worth it. Our unit was air conditioned and that was great! We really enjoyed it.

Great ride, price is alittle steep even though my daughter wasn’t charged because she was a toddler between me and my wife it was still $33, but we had great scenery the cabins all have AC so it was nice and cool and the view was just spectacular, and my daughter loved it as well! Little pricey but money well spent.

3.5/5 I was really looking forward to riding the Niagara Sky Wheel as I had missed out on it during my previous visit to Niagara. It seemed like an iconic activity that shouldn't be missed. However, once I got on it, I realized how high it actually was. I didn't anticipate feeling a bit fearful of the heights, so if you have a fear of heights, I would advise against going on this ride. The first two rounds on the Sky Wheel were enjoyable and provided a nice ride. I felt like we got a good view of the surroundings. However, by the third round, it started to feel repetitive, and we already knew what to expect. It would have been more exciting if there was some tour guide narration during the ride experience. I must admit that the price of the ride was a little steep. If the ticket price were closer to $10 or even under $15, it would have felt like a better value for money. Nevertheless, I'm still glad I got the opportunity to ride it, considering it is such a staple activity in Niagara. However, based on my experience, I don't think I would choose to ride the Sky Wheel again in the future. The initial excitement and novelty wore off quickly, and considering the price and lack of variation, I don't feel it's worth a repeat visit. Overall, if you haven't experienced it before, it might be worth a try, but don't expect to be blown away

I'm actually scared of ferris wheels but this one is very good! Amazing views of the falls, and the ride feels safe and smooth. It rotates about 3 full times around and the ride lasts about 10 minutes. Overall, it's a nice way to see the falls, and definitely recommend it! Also, we got this with a bundle to see other attractions. I think it's a good deal!

Wonderful experience we had with sky wheels in niagara city. The terrible view of Niagara city and falls view is amazing. It is so thrilled to look down from the top, but the safety is well measured. We were inside a glass room as usual how we are sitting in normal room. They took us 3 full rounds in the wheel which costs 14$ for adults and 7 $ for kids.

Niagara has been my backyard growing up in Hamilton Ontario. I always wanted to try the wheel but they always had massive line ups waiting for hours. The day we visited Niagara Falls was busy but the line at the wheel was short so me and the wife decided to try it out. 15$ admission ticket and it’s a quick 10 minutes ride. Price is fair and the view is pretty nice depending on when you are taking the ride. We had a sunset view from the sky wheel. Good experience overall and good worth for the money for the 350 Niagara Falls views!

Visited on a Friday night in December before Christmas. We lined up at 7:50PM with very few people in line. Timed it perfectly to be right at the top for most of the fireworks over the falls. Was a great experience. Staff are friendly. Wheel pods are clean. Great for families of all ages. There is a stroller parking area at the beginning of the lineup if you need it. Each pod carries up to 8 people but they don't fill them, so whether you have a big or small group, it's a great outing.

The Niagara SkyWheel offers a breathtaking experience, showcasing the majestic beauty of Niagara Falls from a unique vantage point. As someone who's taken a spin on this iconic Ferris wheel, I was captivated by the panoramic views it provided. The spacious, climate-controlled gondolas ensure a comfortable ride, allowing visitors to appreciate the falls in any weather. The slow rotation of the SkyWheel provides ample time to absorb the awe-inspiring scenery, with both the American and Canadian falls stealing the spotlight. The vibrant evening illuminations of the falls add an extra layer of magic to the experience, making it a must-try during both day and night. The friendly and knowledgeable staff enhance the overall visit, offering insights into the area's rich history and geography. The ride is family-friendly, making it suitable for all ages. Whether you're a thrill-seeker or someone seeking a more serene adventure, the Niagara SkyWheel caters to a diverse audience. While the ticket prices might seem steep at first, the memories created and the visual feast of the falls justify the cost. Overall, my journey on the Niagara SkyWheel was a delightful and memorable escapade, providing a unique perspective of one of nature's wonders. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Niagara

Great views, friendly workers, clean boxcar, several rotations, and a short wait to get started. What else can you ask for?! Purchased the activity package card in advance, and it was easy to scan thru. Not my first time but getting new memories with my god-daughters, my niece, and my sister- priceless!

I don't do a lot of touristy stuff like this. But, this is definitely worth the price of admission. One family / group to a pod. No sharing with strangers. A great experience to share. Excellent view of the falls and area. A fun way to challenge any fear of heights you might have.

A fun experience! The cost of this attraction is decent $15 per adult and $ 7 per child. The wait is a little long snd seemed to be longer in the evening. The customer service was good, actually better than I expected. A great view of the surrounding area!

Good value for your entertainment dollar. The line moves pretty quick. It’s a smooth, slow ride with time to take in the amazing views of the falls and more. The ride is just the right length…about ten minutes. Shout out to the operator named Andrew who had a smile and a fist bump for every rider. Made it an even nicer experience. Highly recommend.

Bought the pass to check out a bunch of attractions, but this was the top one we wanted to do. Very much enjoyed it. Expected it to be a quick bit around, but went around multiple times. Loved the view, the air conditioning and even enjoyed the music that was playing.

  • 5/5 Sam M. 4 months ago on Google
Amazing view for up to 8 people (although it looks more like 6 tops for me). Only thing I would like more is if it lasted a bit longer. You get 3 cycles and that's it.

  • 5/5 sayoni d. 7 months ago on Google
We enjoyed every bit of the 10 mins ride. They give you 4 rounds across the gondola and I bet you’ll love it. Next time I would plan to go in late evening to get a night view.

It's first come first serve so unless you think you can get a discount buying in advance, I see no advantage doing so. Great views! Good thing to do early to get a lay of the land in Clifton Hill Park. The pods are air conditioned. Also a great way to rest and cool off if needed. No need to bring a towel!

  • 5/5 Gios 6 months ago on Google
At First it looked like the line up.was long it went quickly. Took about half an hour We timed it to.see the fire works from the Wheel. It was fun the kids loved it and each cabin is climate controlled for comfort. Iwill definitely go again the ride lasted much longer than expected. 5 Stars all the way definitely world class ride!

Never in my life I have liked ferry’s wheel - rather pretty scared of them. Visited Niagara falls twice earlier but could not muster the courage to ride this literally “giant wheel”… but at last decided to give it a try and that too with my elderly mother and 1 year old son… the experience was, if not surreal, was quite pleasant.. the pace of the wheel would not make you feel giddy and it is secured enough to make you feel safe… the view, too, is worth it.. Priced at 15 CAD+ tax, it seemed quite reasonable.. you can save a dollar with some easily available coupons, if you wish.. give it a try if you are in the area and it is definitely good for someone who is scared of ferry’s wheel but still want to be a bit “adventurous” sometimes…

My first experience was going here in the new year of 2024, it was a very good experience, we didn't wait long in line, it was very orderly and the staff were very friendly. At first, my daughter was afraid, but then she didn't want to get off at all, the view of the city of Niagara is really spectacular from inside the cabin. I definitely suggest you go here at night.

  • 5/5 Hesham A. 3 months ago on Google New
This place is a must-visit in Niagara. Unfortunately, we were unlucky due to the fog, limiting our view of the town and waterfalls. Despite that, we enjoyed the ride, and it was lovely. Expect a lineup, but getting in early is recommended for a more enjoyable experience.

The individuals checking in, truly love their jobs! Amazing hospitality, you would at least smile once no matter what just by the way you are treated. And amazing view of the city and the falls.

Value for money. You will get 3 or 4 complete rotations. I took the ride just to see the complete area from the top. You can see the waterfalls and the entire place. Covered a/c cabin. 4-6 people can sit easily. Overall a nice experience.

  • 5/5 Darcy A. 4 months ago on Google
What a cool and unique experience. On a total whim my partner and I decided to try out the SkyWheel. At under $20 a head, there is no chance you're going to be able to get a view of the falls like this. It was a slower day, so the ride lasted around 20 minutes and I believe 5 rotations. I doubt that's standard as they advise you the ride is 3 rotations and about 8 minutes long. All of that said, if you are in the area and it's a clear day, I cannot recommend taking the time to see these unreal views of the falls that won't break the bank

  • 5/5 Brijesh S. 1 year ago on Google
Good establishment nearby Niagara falls at a walking distance. Adequate amount of activities for while family for entire day. Must visit. Thrifty advice, get the ticket combo pack from counter beside skywheel to save on tickets.

We enjoyed the SkyWheel so much that my child requested a second ride on day 2 of our stay! Staff was very nice, lines moved quickly, and we got about 5 rounds each time which was amazing as it gave us enough time to really check out the surroundings. I'm usually afraid of heights but I felt completely safe on the wheel. Will definitely do this again when we visit the next time!

Great ferris wheel with beautiful view of US And Canadian Niagara falls. Also provides great view of the Clifton hill area! They have stroller parking available at the bottom of the ferris wheel, which is so helpful and greatly appreciated. Friendly staff and very affordable ticket prices…definitely recommended!

  • 4/5 Saurabha D. 2 years ago on Google
Decent experience, this gives the view to the Niagara falls from US and Canada side and runs for around 8 min. It was not too crowded on Wednesday night. This is an experience but nothing really fascinating tbh. I am views are good but not good pic taking points and the glass reflects so hard to take pic. Great attraction for kids and they will definitely love it with all the lights.

If you want to get a nice view of Niagara Falls and the surrounding area then this is the place! I don't do well with heights but I still wanted to try this ferries wheel. It was $12 per person in August 2020. You get around 4-5 rounds and can see the entire amusement area and Niagara Falls.

My second time at/on the Niagara Skywheel and it gets better every time! You do get the best view of the Niagara Falls from up the Skywheel! Though my pictures' quality is not up to mark. I need a better phone and a better camera! Lol. Looking forward to being back yet again!

The Niagara SkyWheel is such a fun Ferris Wheel to ride on. We came here during September 2020 around the afternoon. It was worth it. We had such a blast. The check in was easy and staff were working hard to sanitize the handles and seats. The views of Niagara and Buffalo were amazing. since it was a sunny clear day. It is a little scary if you are afraid of heights and fun at the same time since it stopped and keeps going in circles.. We hope to come back again when we could. A highly recommend.

This is a must do and see when visiting the sky wheel. It takes your breath away as it slowly takes you up 170 ft above the ground and to make UT better, it is already on top of a hill. You can see for miles around, Canada and USA.

A must experience when visiting Niagara Falls. A day time gives you a picturesque view of both falls and surroundings while night ride let’s you see the falls in floodlights and downtown illumination. Choice is yours. A little wait on weekends and yes stroller parking freely available. Courteous staff and quite well managed the flow of crowd.

This was a fun thing to do while exploring the Canadian side of the falls. Family friendly. Air conditioned (definitely not great cooling but cooler than the outside air), view of the falls. Make sure to get the coupon online. We opted to do this on a Thursday night during the falls illumination. It was fun but a once and done kind of thing. Photos aren't great because it's enclosed in glass and you see all the reflections.

Personally not a great experience for me. But 5 star because Everyone in the family are scared of heights and speed wheels, surprisingly it was super slow and secured cars along with a quick sanitizing made it worth the price. My family happy with the ride and the view. I saw many negative reviews about the speed, view of the water falls. The wheel is not 10 meters from the falls. So be realistic, what you get the view is what it was . Good job for the Lady who welcomed at the entrance, smiling and welcoming. (Evening on 21st July). Very busy tourist spot.

Interesting experience. Long wait time and somewhat short-ish ride time. Great views from the top, unfortunately the windows have quite a bit of glare at night, so not really suited for good pictures. The wheel doesn't line up with the falls. If the whole structure had been rotated by roughly 45 degrees the view would have been a whole lot better. Worth going once, but I wouldn't consider it a must.

  • 4/5 Cameron T. 1 year ago on Google
4.5 stars. Be prepared for a long line and a fairly long wait, but that’s to be expected with such an attraction. The staff don’t try to overload the cars and put between 2 and 4 people per car. Couples are able to get a car alone without asking which is kind. The ride isn’t too long but it’s still worth it. The views are incredible, especially at night. Even without the view, riding the Ferris wheel is fun all on it’s own. Definitely a must try experience for anyone visiting Niagara.

  • 5/5 Pedro L. 9 months ago on Google
We saw this from the US side of the falls and just knew we wanted to get on. They load and unload 6 carts at a time so they like moves relatively quick. You begin with a little tour audio telling you what is located around you according to cardinal direction. Three revolution around but it’s such a pretty view if you sit and soak it all in.

It was a rainy day in March so wasn’t expecting great views. But we were shocked. The sky cleared up pretty well and we did experience a great wheel ride. It was really easy to get on and there was no queue as such. We had bought the attractions pass so it was covered (recommended). Plus, we did time our ride for the sunset and that was one of the best decisions that day. Ended up getting great pictures! P.S. the inside was clean and looked great. Didn’t feel suffocating or smelly as there was an exhaust which enables you to control the air/temperature for the inside.

Great views. A bit scary on the first ascend but it was good by the 2nd loop. In total got 4 loops. Some wait time to seat others.... That was actually good and you can see miles or kilometers lol. Tons of stuff to do around. Parking was pricey but we expected that. Overall definitely recommended for the views.

The Niagara SkyWheel is a fantastic attraction that offers visitors an exquisite view of the magnificent Niagara Falls and the surrounding area. This 175-foot giant Ferris wheel is hard to miss, located directly across from the falls, and lures with its striking design and sparkling light show at night. The SkyWheel features fully enclosed gondolas that are climate-controlled, ensuring that you are comfortable regardless of the outside temperature. Each pod can accommodate up to eight passengers and offers a spectacular 360-degree view of the falls, the Niagara River, and the sprawling city beyond. The ride on the SkyWheel is smooth and calm, with gentle movements that allow you to take your time enjoying the views without feeling rushed. The spectacle is especially breathtaking during sunset and night when the falls are lit up, and the city lights create an enchanting ambiance. The SkyWheel also offers fantastic photo opportunities and a perfect view for capturing the beautiful Niagara landscape and skyline. Visitors can choose to ride at any hour of the day, and any season or weather condition, making it a flexible experience that can fit in any itinerary. The ticket prices for the SkyWheel may seem a little steep, but the experience and unparalleled views afford a value that will not be forgotten. Overall, the Niagara SkyWheel is a must-visit attraction, offering a unique and unforgettable experience that one will cherish forever.

One of the iconic experience at Clifton hill. You get a beautiful birds eye view. There are around 3 rounds and it usually goes slow to soak in all that surrounds you. They have audio guide narrating about the places you see around. I also liked that they do have the option to turn the audio off, also have light and fan switch. The views might feel repetitive by the 3rd round but I would still suggest to have this one time experience.
