DON'T GET MISLEAD LIKE WE DID...Yesterday June 15th my son was traveling by train from Ontario and was needing a Hotel near the airport because he is flying out today June 16th. This was his first time traveling and not knowing the Toronto area we trusted Google to find us a hotel close to the airport. He was traveling with very little funds and after traveling since 5:30am he needed a place to rest. When he arrived he was surprised of the sketchy area but said he would give it a try it was only for one night. He checked in and paid his $123.98 along with a $100 deposit for the room. The room and area would be rated as a 1 no more then a 2. Paper thin walls so thin that he could hear someone doing their business in the washroom. A shared bathroom by many which is so unsanitary for this day and age especially with covid still hanging around us. He was in the room no more than half hour and he text me saying he could not stay there because of the conditions. He proceeded to the desk and they gave him back his $100 dollar deposit but never returned any of the room rate which is robbery. To call this a hotel is an understatement and to have it listed to deceive people like us that don't know the area is deceitful. My son ended up not having anywhere to sleep because his money for a hotel they kept...shame on this business!

I wish I would have read the reviews before booking the room for a night. I was in a rush and wanted to stay for a night only but as soon as I walk into the hallway not even the room, I realize my biggest mistake. They should NOT BE CALLING IT A HOTEL. My say that the only staff I saw at the front desk was really nice and I really appreciate her assistance. But besides that I don't have anything good to say about this place, definitely not Hotel. BE CAREFUL, STAY AWAY AND DON'T BE FOOLED BY THE PRICE.

I don't recommend!! Our Airbnb got canceled a few days before our trip to Canada so we were looking urgently. We found this "hotel" at an okay price so we decided to book a few nights there. The manager on the phone was awfully rude but the staff in person were quite polite. The location is not great and even at the first look the place looks like it's about to collapse. Me and my partner decided to get an ensuite bathroom room which was more expensive than the shared bathroom room but the shower didn't even work!! There were holes in the wall, it wasn't soundproof at all and the bed was hard and creeking. We were planning to go on a low budget trip but at this point it's better to get a more expensive place or a place further away from the center. Not worth it!

My husband and I stayed here for 2 nights as we had no other choice as a last minute option and had an absolutely awful experience the entire time, right from booking to check out. The one other staff member we interacted with was absolutely wonderful and deserves way better than this place, however the manager is incredibly rude and inconsiderate both over the phone and in person and she doesn't seem to have any concept of basic respect for others. The most expensive option, the "Queen" room for $50 more than the cheapest room offered, is the exact same as the other room options (double bed, 22-23 square feet) but the only difference between this room and the "budget" double room is you get a window and an ensuite bathroom instead of having to share the communal bathroom the other rooms have to use. The room looked fine at first but upon closer inspection was completely falling apart. The bed itself is very thin and loud with pillows that feel like they're 20 years old and upon pulling back the bottom sheet and mattress pad to check for bedbugs, it was covered in disgusting red and brown stains and the mattress cover itself had massive holes in it, providing not even an attempt at protection against bedbugs. The uncovered outlet right next to the bed is a massive fire hazard, as well as a great space for pests to hide. The door handle may as well have just been there for show as it was barely attached to the door and made it a struggle to lock the door when exiting. Do not be fooled by the prices and "budget" options, this place is not even worth being a last resort.

I was threatened with being stabbed before even entering the building. Tried to refund my room and they wouldn't. The rooms are more appropriate to be donated to the homeless threatening to stab everyone. This business refusing to cancel because they need to be cancelled 2 weeks in advance is total trash.

I was satisfied with my stay at this Hotel. It surely shouldn‘t be listed as hotel because of the bathroom that you share with the neighbour room (although there where no guests at the time I stayed so I had the washroom for myself). If this location would call itself a hostel and drop the price a little bit it would have been a 7/10 hostel. And about the toilet paper issue that some comments mentioned: When I arrived I had 3 bags of shampoo, 2 soaps and 1 new roll of toilet paper prepared in the room. The only thing that bothered me was the AC in the room that sometimes turned on and off eventually and I couldn‘t find a switch to turn it on/off manually.

I only needed a place to stay for one night. The room was comfortable, and the bed. The place needed work. The simple things were not in your room like plastic glasses, soap, and shampoo. There was no tv in the room. A tv in the room is always nice do a person has something to do.

My original hotel booking got messed up and I needed a quick room and fast. They were able to give me accommodations the day of for a good price for Toronto. Now they aren't the fanciest hotel, you are paying for what you get. The bed was broken but still comfy to sleep in and the room was very clean, white sheets and all. The shared bathroom was also clean, it did smell like marijuana but nothing they can do about that. It had 2 locked doors for safety (as well as the room having a lock). The walls were thin but tolerable. The area was close to some local cuisine and it wasn't a horrible area to stay in either. Overall it's a good hotel for what you are paying for, and I would stay there in a pinch if need be.

This hotel is more comparable to a shelter than an actual hotel. The rooms are small and cramped. There are no amenities inside the room other than the lights. The bathrooms are outside the room and shared by the floor. They never cleaned either our room had trash in it when we arrived. I highly recommend spending a few more bucks and getting a semi livable hotel. P.s: they have no parking you have to pay for public parking.

Avoid going here. Walls are thin, bathroom was dirty and covered with toilet paper everywhere. We unintentionally left mess and were charged extra as we were checking out, despite us volunteering to back to clean it up. Horrible method and an easy money grab for them.

i was on a BUDGET so I stayed here for pride 2022, the room isn’t the greatest in terms of aesthetics, but that’s what makes it affordable, especially in a city like Toronto. i needed a place to sleep n shower and that’s what this place provided. The receptionist was very friendly and conversational, and provided great customer service. I see my self coming back if i need a place to stay on a dime.

Worst experience ever, I booked three nights, I had to leave the place on the second day, it was worth losing the money. The place smelled like marihuana and crack all around, the place has no heat and barely any curtains. There is no telephone to communicate with and it is really expensive for what they are selling. The pictures are anything but close to reality.

This should be no stars because I couldn't stay -- after learning that I could not check in after 6 pm! Canceled by phone, having been called by an extraordinarily rude person who seemed to feel the fact that I was the only person scheduled to check in that day was my fault. No sign that I will get my money back, despite no warning about their ridiculous hours for checking in ("late check in" does not to mind mind say "6 pm") nor their not having a back up option such as a lock box or code to call for.

not even they deserve a star!! i booked this hotel by mistake, tried several times to call to cancel, then i got a charge back after the receptionist told me that there would not be any charges. called back in again, she started talking, not even let me talk and she hung up the phone!!! if it depended on me, they'd be out of business just by their customer service !!

Sketchy af! Walls were paper thin and riddled with holes in both our rooms. Could hear other people’s conversations from next room. Mattress sunk right down to the box spring, communal washrooms were filthy! The one bathroom we had in our room wreaked of sewage coming up the drain. If you’re ballin on a budget and don’t care about cleanliness this would be alright for you, otherwise would not Recommend

This is a bad "hotel" I went for my honey moon and automatically got swarmed by homeless druggies before I got to my disgusting room. I ended up staying at a cheaper motel 6 in Brampton that was great. Would recommend because it was so much better as a motel than this hell hole.

Absolutely disgusting place. Had to find a place to stay due to a flight cancellation. We were told that the latest we could check in is 9pm which was quite stressful as we didn't know if we could make it until then. They did not mention any time for check -ins to us before. The place itself is in a really dodgy area too. So far, not necessarily something that the hotel is purely to blame for. However, we were shocked at the state of the rooms. Ominous splashes all over the curtains, musty smell and the shower curtain had a bubbly, slimy black substance on it. No idea what it was but the entire bathroom looked so disgusting I did not want to take a shower there even without the curtain. While we did not find any obvious signs of uncleanliness on the bed, the state of the bathroom and the general smell of the room made us very suspicious. Although the place is rather cheap, especially for 2 people per room, for 50$ per night I do at least expect a basic standard of cleanliness .

You will not sleep here. Walls are paper thin - ppl that come here are pretty sketchy. One couple had a screaming match at 10pm and then blasted their TV until 3am. Next night a group of people just partied. Needless to say you will not sleep here.

No TV, no A/C or heater. Had to buy our own fans since it was so hot and the windows didnt stay open and doesn't even have a screen. Had to share a bathroom with other people, not even a bath mat so the floors were very slippery. Provided no face cloths or hand towels. Beds were very squeaky. Very rude staff. Only one was pleasant to deal with. The office doesn't open till 10am so I couldn't get my deposit back right away, and when I called about it, the lady was very rude. I do not recommend staying at this hotel unless absolutely necessary.

Everything was absolutely discussing. Windows are not sound proof. You hear every single car that goes through . Every single move next door you can hear. Discussing showers and bathroom. The bed and squeaky floors are beyond description. It should be classified as a shelter not hotel. So disappointed.

DO NOT STAY HERE. They stole my $100 security deposit despite saying that they refunded it which in fact they did not. I will now have to file a claim with the credit card and will also be contacting the authorities for this fraud.

Indian male manager knew absolutely nothing about the hotel. I'm a young journalist that visited Canada for the first time in hopes of writing a novel on hotels in the downtown area and he provided little to no information. His customer service is also very poor.

Windows was broken, terrible sound came from outside.. vehicle sound, peoples fighting and vomiting… all the stuff (towel, blanket & bedsheet) was dirty and strained… dangerous insect inside the bathroom beds made much sound… no water and glass available, no phone for service and they not received call when I called from my phone… hot water not available for shower, worst vacation…. Finally I upgraded room with shared washroom to room with separate washroom and they charged $80 extra and my total amount was $296.24 but they not provide bill/invoice and they took amount automatically from my credit card and I feel its not safe to pay online , these people can take money anytime… room is worth like $20-30/night but they charged $148.12/night… this hotel spoiled my vacation….

Worst experience in my life. I had to go use the washroom and found no toilet paper, and had to resort to using napkins in my backpack as tissue paper. There is no ventilation fan which is a building code violation. The worst part is that I got the cops called on me for leaving the water running while I did my business. Never again will I cheap out on hotels; thanks for the lesson.

Just got cancelled for my booking... 18hrs before arrival!!! While I come all the way from Europe. Although I booked something else quickly afterwards. I can feel a certain sense of relieve, knowing that I don't have to stay at this mess!

I called and thé woman was very disrespectful and she wouldnt even put me thru. Since when do motels do that? She has now been reported and To thé health department. Motels put u thru thé room u ask for...they dont stop you.She should be thankful that someone didnt die. Cuz i would be there with cops To have her charged. Specially when you no your party is there. So deal with that. And when ur charged ill be in court

The worse experience ever!!! Do not stay in this hotel; consider an airbnb before choosing this place: (1)The atmosphere is suffocating: the room have only one small window. (2)The information about the room was misleading: if you want private bathroom, you have to ask for it + pay $500 fee, if you want room service, you have to ask for it + paying $20 fee per service. (3)They say is forbidden to smoke inside the buildig: the reality is that every night the weed smoke floods the hallways. (4)The walls are paper thin, you'll hear the snore of the next room tenant. (5)About the free breakfast: fake advertising. This place seems to lack of the canadian kindness that we found in the rest of Toronto and surroundings, but its plenty of scams, dirt and rudeness.

"Hotel"? Whoever said it's, they're all Telling Lies. It's Hell Hole to be exact. Dirty as sewage, Molds all on wall. Cracks in every corner. Only Rats want to stay. Don't Don't Don't..... unless you want to kill yourself in 1 night. And be prepared: Your deposit will be gone because the reception desk is not open until they randomly want to. Mostly "9am-5pm". Exact Quote. Either you're stuck or get ripped-off. Wicked Queen Wicked.

Been there. Died there. The name “Hotel” is misleading. The best way to describe it is a “coffin box”. Any good comments you can see online are fake. If you want to die, check-in…. Mold will grow on you quickly. And it eats people alive.
