4 stars? I'm not so sure about that... 3 is more believable. Front desk assistant manager was an absolute delight. I could tell he loved his job and was good at it. The other female front desk staff were often very rude. My wife's main hobby is playing the piano and when she saw their grand in the lobby she badly wanted to play. She was asked after 2 minutes to stop as it was not for guests (and it was not labeled as such). However, kids, the unskilled, and lack of talent and knowledge were able to play for a good twenty minutes while we were trying to have breakfast in quiet. This hotel takes pride in constantly needing tips but their service at breakfast and the carrying of bags did not warrant as such. Not to mention, I probably would have found a better taste in breakfast had I ordered from McDonalds. I may say, the highlight would be the convince of overnight parking... Final words: Disappointing, Overvalued, and 3-stars.

I heard good things about this hotel but my experience was quite the opposite. I keep finding long blond hair from the side of the bed and there is no room service or house keeping after 8:30. So when i called to ask for some hot water to make a cup of tea (no kettle in the room), they told me that i can either call back tomorrow or come down to the lobby and get it myself - as if he is doing me a favor. No apologies what so ever. What kind of customer service is this??? They reduced their house keeping/service hours then they need to notify their customers no?!? Absolutely dissatisfied with this hotel. Not recommended at all.

PROS: Gorgeous area with Japanese inspired architecture, amazing location, ample parking and amazing restaurant and bar. If you want to spoil yourself, there’s a message therapist on the lower level. The area felt safe and was quiet at night. CONS: or room for improvements would be: staff were nice but could use another front desk concierge when expecting large quantities of check-ins / check-outs. There is a walking trail that I imagine is gorgeous but trees have fallen on their entry ways, path lights are broken and is overall quite ran down. If I remember correctly, the bathrooms were gorgeous but the showers were extremely small for a 6’ average male. I’ll be staying here again in a couple weeks so I’m not deterred from the cons but would really like the see improvements.

A solid stay, I was content, however I can understand why some reviews are a bit harsh… Best take aways - cleaning staff is the best. The grounds are super pleasant. Good location. Rooms are a decent size. Not so great - certain front desk staff come across not so pleasant (some are phenomenal though!). I did not rent a car but saw some parking/leaving the parking lot issues. Some lighting changes would be awesome, a bit dark in some hallways and a light was out in my room. Otherwise, no issues. Content stay.

I would love to come back for a longer visit. This is a lovely hotel that seems to cater to business trips but most interestingly has a salon on the ground floor with massages and manicures available. Of course there's also a pool and gym and impressive rooms, but definitely seems to be a place where you can relax in comfort for quite a while. Even the toiletries reminded me of a spa with their great green tea scent. I like that someone truly cared about the details in the furniture and interior design. Could have used a microwave though!

So the rooms are outrageously over-priced. The lights in the bathroom are burnt out, the curtains stick and don't open or close, so by 6:00 in the morning, the day was already beaming in. Upon arrival, the girl at the front desk was not friendly at all and no one smiles in this place either. The lobby was absolutely pitiful! The couches are all stained and gross. The carpets were stained and super dirty. For a company that charges what they do, you would think they could afford a steam vacuum or upgrade to clean carpets and new couches? The room was clean. I loved that. Wouldn't stay here again though. The price doesn't match the appearance and maintenance neglect.

Decent price and nice on the surface but neglect is showing. Pool, fitness centre and tennis court are all but forgotten. And we had no hot water in our shower. Finding the fitness centre was an adventure since the pool elevators are out of service and that was supposedly the route to follow. Had to call the front desk several times before anyone answered - and I was directed through an Escher-like maze to the fitness centre. Our room in the low-rise building was very comfortable and clean and we had a large balcony facing green space which was quite nice. Also, parking was free.

I visited this property several years ago and was pleasantly surprised to see the magnificent upgrades that were made to this property. Pan Pacific has done a fantastic change over! The bar lounge, 900 is a great place to sit and have deliciously made cocktail drinks by their wonderful staff. They also have a nice menu if you are looking to just stay for the evening. The room was spacious, very clean and quiet... could not have asked for more. The staff, everyone from the front desk, the lounge to maintenance were very friendly, hospitable and helpful.

Great value for the price. Nice hotel overall. There were some towels that weren't completely clean and bulbs in the lamps that didn't work. Also one curtain didn't move when it was supposed to slide back. But I loved the bed, and the TV was huge! Staff were friendly. If you are driving, park in the lot first before going to check in. Enjoy!

Well maintained property with beautiful views. Stayed here for three nights at a conference and felt very well taken care of. Only draw back is the speed and age of the elevators, it could take a little while during peak hours. However, there was work being done on the elevators when I was there so hopefully that will improve. Several excellent restaurants within short walking distance. Definitely would stay again.

I was pleasantly surprised at the value for money this property offers. A very pleasant stay, spotless clean room, late check-in (no problem), and it has a convenience store open very late in the lobby, which saved me ordering in food for a late dinner/snack. Very reasonable price and it's relatively close to the subway (not a walking distance, but a short enough bus ride).

The staff at the front desk as well as the bellman were very helpful to me. My room was extremely clean and significantly bigger than the downtown properties. I was located toward the back of the property above the convention space so I didn’t have to take the main elevators- I had my own “private” elevator directly to the car. The hotel was quiet, my room was reasonably modern. It’s an old property but it is certainly well maintained. The best part- I was about a 3-5 minute drive to the office in North York.

The customer service was pure entertainment to watch. It was like watching the soup man from Seinfeld deal with customers. Almost verbatim, Customer: The hot water isn't working in the shower. Receptionist: It's working! You just pull the handle and turn left. It's working. Customer: It's not, though. Receptionist: It's working! Just pull up and turn left, okay? Okay. I booked and confirmed online hours ahead and upon arriving and waiting in line for 30 minutes with the most bizarre receptionist, we were told the hotel was fully booked. Beyond the inept communication with this receptionist, I had nearly 10 people behind me who also were left without a room. This can probably be explained by this particular hotel's overbooking strategy - to allow x amount of people to book beyond the amount of rooms available, in the case that some people cancel last minute. Maximize profit if they pull it off, and angry customers if they don't. Don't check-in late with this hotel if you book online. Otherwise, the hotel looked clean and cozy. I never got a room, so I can't know for sure if the pull-and-turn-left strat works.

Room was ok, found a good deal online for a weekend stay. Lobby was clean and modern, elevators were very slow, had to wait, legitimately, 5 min to up to your room, as only two were working. Beds were clean, lots of towels. Pretty standard. Balcony looked like it was falling apart, and the door only opened 1ft. Bathroom was clean, except for the shower / tub. There was quite a bit of mold in the tile, and it smelled musty. Got back later the one night, and had a midnight shower. Had to wait a good time before we got hot water. I'm assuming the hot water system cycles less late a night to save power. Parking was fair, but not included in the stay. Very quiet though, far from the highway and the surrounding roads aren't too busy

Super noisy due to paper-thin doors, especially if your room is near an elevator. We kept getting woken up by different people talking in the hallway until 3am, and then again in the morning starting at 8am. To be clear they weren't even being that loud, just the doors are that thin. This issue needs to be fixed by the hotel, because at the moment any room near an elevator is not worth the money. The room itself was fine, but if someone is paying that much money they should be able to get a full night's rest.

No control of temperature in the room and no windows that open so our room was very hot all weekend. Hot enough that sleeping under the blankets was not an option. We were told it was just an issue that maintenance is working on but judging by the other reviews on here this has been an ongoing issue for months. Elevators were constantly in and out of service just in the two days we were there. My pregnant wife took the elevator down to pick up our food order then in the minute it took for her to grab the food from the lobby the elevators had stopped working again. She asked the front desk if there are any alternatives to get upstairs and she brushed her off. My 8 MONTH PREGNANT wife then asked “So what am I supposed to do? My room is on the 7th floor.” to which the front desk lady replied by shrugging her shoulders at her. As this was going on there was another man in the lobby also very vocally disappointed in his stay. We also called the front desk to ask for an extra pillow as the pillows in the bed were very flat and they told us no but they can get us a pillow tomorrow because housekeeping has left for the day. Are the pillows kept in some kind of vault that only housekeepers can open?? The whole front desk staff was very dismissive with an attitude as if we were causing such a hassle for them. Not sure how this place has such a good rating maybe it was a great place at one time but their standards are definitely very low today.

0 stars. The hotel allowed someone to fraudulently use my partner's credit card number, and has shown repeated disinterest to our inquiries about it. The bored-sounding front desk staff told us twice on two separate days "the manager will phone you today/tomorrow". Well, no phone call from this manager yet! So from our experience, this hotel has bad business practices. Not only did they allow this fraud to occur, but now that the card holder is making inquiries about why they have his credit card number and why the transaction was put through, they treat him with indifference (at best), and move with zero urgency. Given their tepid non-response, the hotel doesn't care where the money comes from, and/or are in on this fraud. So don't stay here unless you are fine with these bad business practices potentially affecting you. EDIT: After I posted my review, but before Guest Service's response below, I resolved the issue by telling the credit card company, who confirmed the charge was fraudulent. I'm disappointed it took this review for the hotel to offer to help. I'm even more disappointed their offer to help, while it sounds nice, is actually cheap and passive. Namely, instead of Guest Services reaching out to us using the contact information we gave to hotel staff, Guest Services asked me to email them information about the transaction...information which I already gave to the hotel staff. This frustrating bureaucracy is Kafkaesque.

If I have to give this place a zero I would. We came here for 2 nights stayed. The customer service guy was very unprofessional and rude. Honestly, we have to pay $18 per night for parking. People please don't look at beautiful pictures and once you enter the hotel then you realized.. OOOH SHOOT not like how I pictures it. The elevator was slow 🐌.. The fridge doesn't have the freezer section. With 4 stars hotel, you expect the inside and outside details look pretty but NOOO. The outside, seems like no one take care of the plants or flowers. Most of the flowers are dead and in the middle of the floor entrance, there is a batch of leaves stay there for 2 night. Overall, definitely not worth the $$ to stay at this place. 1st and last time here.

We had booked a junior suite through booking.com and had send the hotel a message stating we are bringing our pet dog. We received a message saying the request has been noted . When we reached the hotel the staff at the reception informs us that pets are not allowed into the junior suite and downsize us to a regular room. We had informed 2 weeks in advance and it would have been helpful if the hotel had informed us in advance when messaged that dogs are not allowed in junior suites. The whole purpose of sending messages in advance is to know if there are pet policies in regards to the hotel rooms and just sending a standard reply that your request has been noted doesn’t give us any idea of what are the limitations on arriving with a pet.I am very disappointed and would not recommend this hotel to people checking in with pets

Large hotel. Staff was friendly. WiFi wasn’t always good (not stable). I like the combination of hotel and business environment(meeting rooms). Nice to be able to sit outside the hotel in the garden(like a small park). It’s conveniently located close to nice places to eat(across the street). Would recommend this to others.

the air conditioner doesn't work. it's so cold in the room. I have to wear all my clothes to stay warm. I asked the front desk, they said the air conditioner just doesn't work. they could give me blankets. are blankets the only way to keep warm in this hotel? Also, I used the hair dryer the first night, the electricity just went off after using their hair dryer. I called the front desk, they said the maintenance person is off work that time around 10 pm. so I have to stay in the dark room till next day around 10 am that maintenance people just turn on the electricity from their office.

Pro: comfortable, large room, tidy up everyday, good sleeping experience. Worth 2 stars. Con: BAD front desk service! We informed the front desk of our license plate when we check in, and she wrote it on her notes, but next day morning our car stuck at the exit of parking lot because the system didn’t recognize our license plate. We called the service number to discuss this problem but the man in the phone was very impatient, kept telling us to contact the front desk because our license had not been recorded into the system, even if it’s definitely not our fault. We then called the front desk, but no one picked up during a long time! Around 7 vehicles stuck behind us in the busy morning because of the mistakes they made. In the end we had no choice but ran to front desk in person, asked them to record our license plate again and open the door for us and other vehicles behind us. Lots of time and energy wasted. They should update their system and provide quicker service, at least hire more people to answer phone-calls! !

The service here is great! I requested early check in with some other small requests for my BFs birthday. She did everything she could to get me in so I could set up the room to make it special. And she got me in! The room is so nice, corner suite with a nice city view. Very spacious and the bathroom is beautiful too. It's so clean here! I have nothing bad to say about this place! Thank you to the lady who worked today around 1230- 1pm. My BF was very happy! And so was I.

I really enjoyed my stay here. The room was nice with a beautiful view of Toronto! There are a few places to eat around here but a bit far from downtown. The staff was so helpful and nice! I did utilize the spa located on the lobby floor, highly recommended! I was not impressed with the restaurant T Wok, but the hotel was awesome.

I will definitely be staying here again. It served the function I needed. It was centrally located, close to restaurants etc. It was clean and well maintained. The room service came every day, and they even provided bottled water. I saw alot of business class persons here and a wedding took place on the weekend. I felt safe throughout my stay and the entire process was hassle free.

Hotel and room were very nice. Room was cleaned properly. I would give a higher rating but there was a screw sticking through our carpet and I unfortunately found it by stepping on it. We immediately told front desk who advised us someone would be coming to remove it but they never did. They did end up discounting us at the end of the stay which I appreciate. I also want to add that parking is very over priced and they also screwed shut the balcony doors so there is no access to outside from your room. Over all it's a great hotel but we expected more from this hotel based on their prices.

This was our second home while we were on holidays in Toronto! Everything about this hotel was welcoming! The impressive reception area with the soothing scent of green tea. Staff were very helpful, courteous and professional. The amenities at the hotel are excellent - pool, workout room, store, salon, restaurant and more. It is close to lots of other restaurants. Rooms are large and comfortable and very clean. Bed linens were crisp and clean. Only wish our balcony door could have opened so we could get a better view of downtown Toronto.

On the 31st of December i attended a Gala on the grounds of this hotel and while leaving the following morning i slipped on some black ice and injured myself. I have been calling and leaving voicemails left and right but no one has returned any. If your customers are at the heart of your business and you so care, why not see to the ones who get hurt because your parking lot wasn't salted not one bit???Both manager switchboard operators and General Mangers have been left with messages. Though the room was nice and staff pleasant i wouldn't have a unction or stay here again because it is clear that at the root of it all you want is our money you care zero about the patrons

Be aware of their NO CANCELLATION policy. I am going to Toronto for work and booked a room for a week. I was told by the contractors 5 days prior that the scheduled work is rescheduled to later date, this is outside of my or my employer's control. I contacted the hotel reservation department to see if a cancellation or reschedule can be done. Their response was "We regret to inform you that your reservation with us is non-cancellable and non-refundable for any reason. Unfortunately, we are unable to waive cancellation fee or provide credit for future reservation in this case." Upon booking, I was told the first night room and tax has been prepaid and is non-refundable, but I can choose to reschedule. In reality, the hotel charged the full week on my credit card on the booking date. Now they are telling me all the fund is non-refundable. I tried to call the hotel a few times to explain the situation, front desk transferred me to the reservation. It was always the answer machine and I left messages but no call back. If you have any chance to reschedule your trip, DO NOT book this hotel.

I've always held Pan Pacific Toronto in high regard, considering it a top-tier hotel known for its comfort and luxury. However, my recent stay left much to be desired. Despite booking a room in winter, the heating didn't work, and the issue was poorly handled, requiring multiple calls for resolution. Initially, the staff seemed to brush off our concerns, invalidating our frustration by falsely claiming that the entire hotel was experiencing heating issues. This dismissal only heightened our frustration, especially upon discovering it was a lie. It was only after expressing our exasperation that a more capable staff by the name of Chriselle, member intervened, relocating us to a room with heating that works. While the new room was an improvement, maintenance issues like a malfunctioning faucet and worn-out amenities were evident that the hotel might have overlooked proper maintenance. Overall, while the hotel seem to offer luxury, the disappointing handling of the heating issue highlights the need for improvement in guest services and maintenance. I would recommend Pan Pacific Toronto to focus on enhancing their understanding of guest concerns and prioritize their business centers around service excellence and guest experience.

I’m posting this unfortunately because my experience with the service at this hotel. I started off enjoying my stay, but the last day I had some unfortunate experiences. First the bar overcharged me for a glass of wine. I wanted one glass of something not expensive, then they charged me $23 for one glass without telling me the cost. Second, they charged me for someone else’s room. I had two separate charges come out for my stay and they told me I was one charged one on my account. However, it is not true. They told me after my call was either dropped or not picked 5 times to deal with it on my end and to just dispute it. No apologies or anything for the mistake they made. I expressed my frustrations and all they said was “I understand your frustrations” and left it at that. They also didn’t listen to anything in regards to my contact methods because I received no invoice and asked them to call me back after my call was dropped because the other person who dropped my call didn’t even bother to call me back after it failed. My email and cell were not even right. I come up for business multiple times a year and this will be my last time staying at this hotel.

We are staying at the Pan Pacific Hotel in Toronto this week and at every chance the front desk staff has worked so hard to make everything lovely for us. I mentioned that a friend was to check in the next day and could they possibly be near us knowing it might be a difficult request. When she checked in they had put her right across the hall. The staff at the desk has been exceptional so far and I just wanted to post right away. The staff communicates with each other so that everyone is up to speed on room requests and needs. Having stayed at so many stock hotels in the US that do not give that sort of attention and service this hotel really made a positive impression.

Beautiful. But we had to move rooms due to mold in the shower/tub and other little messies. Second room was better, but there was still mold in the tub . . . The service was quick. I think they just need a better room inspector. When the problems were pointed out to them they were quick to act. But for what we paid, we don't want to have to point out problems. We don't want there to be any problems.

This is a pretty classy hotel for the price of the room. All the staff we encountered (housekeeping, valet, front desk, Spa, pool and bar staff) were all very friendly, welcoming and accommodating. My wife and I had a little reflexology for the first time here and it was very relaxing and rejuvenating. My wife also had her first pedicure! She loved it. The outdoor pool is great! Very clean and you don't notice any chemicals or chlorine at all. The pool caretakers were very nice and they do their jobs very well! It's a strangely shaped pool, and it doesn't go very deep, but it served its purpose for a little bit of recreational fun on a hot afternoon. Hot tub was out of service, unfortunately. The hotel is pretty close to downtown too, just a quick Uber ride. Traffic is nuts so I don't recommend driving yourself unless you're used to the big city madness. Lots of great restaurants nearby too. All in all, we had a very pleasant stay here, as this place served as our home base while we explored the Toronto area and all that it had to offer. Thanks!

Being able to continue rehearsals at Pan Pacific Hotel means NYCO can proceed to prepare for the rest of its concert season. There's a quick turnaround. We just performed Sunday, November 7 and had our first rehearsal for three concerto winners for their performances 3pm, December 5. Maybe I will see some of you there at the Prince Ballroom.

Beware... They charged me twice and told me it was my credit card that had made a mistake. I had to launch a dispute to get my money back, close to $1000. In addition, the hotel is in a terrible state, the toilets don't work properly, the wallpaper is peeling off in several places and it's impossible to turn up the temperature in the room. I wouldn't recommend this hotel to anyone.... This is far from a 4-star hotel.

It’s a decent enough place to stay for what you pay. Location is great if you’re avoiding downtown. Lots of plazas and restaurants nearby. Elevators are very slow, lobby is beautiful, rooms are nice and spacious enough but furniture is poor quality (nightstand easily falls over), guest services rarely picks up the phone.

Convenient location As for the service, it differed quite drastically between a week day and a weekend. We stayed here on a Wednesday night then a Friday night. Our stay on Wednesday was perfect, service was great. Our stay on Friday was disappointing, poor service, missing bath mat towels and cups in the room. The gentleman helping with the parking at the front was friendly both nights though!

The hotel looked nice and was clean. Our room was extremely hot, we turned the thermostat to 15 celsius and it did not cool the room down at all. Unfortunately it was so hot it was uncomfortable - the beds were stiff if you like a hard mattress it could be okay. The washroom was also very narrow you could stand one person in there which you can only turn around on the spot. It was clean which is a major bonus point and staff were nice. But I think our room was just experiencing some issues with ventilation otherwise it wouldn't be a terrible issue.

At the time we went for my friends birthday the wait times were absolutely horrendous although we pre booked the room. The hotel made a mistake on their part of showing rooms were open when in reality none were available. We along with about 10 other customers waited very long for answers and were given none. Instead the “manager” denied any refunds and offered % off of our next stay which would never happen. Customer service really needs to improve and the treatment of your guests must improve as well.

The experience with this hotel and front desk was horrible. "Sarfaraz" This guy was serving at reception. 5th Feb 2022. I was there at 12:45 am and after, I had been waiting very long for some one to come and attend me. There were other 2 ladies sitting and also waiting. The gentleman comes "Sarfaraz" was rude and not at all helpful. The other ladies we did not knew, but had a bad experience. Long story short I was Not happy with the experience and would not visit again if such people are serving at the front desk. This shows how bad would be other services? Sorry usually I do not like to write anything negative but this was required to improve the service. Thanks hope the management takes it seriously.

Elegant hotel with stunning outdoors. Conveniently located in North York, minutes from the highway, 16-22 minutes to downtown. Breakfast was varied at their all-day dining, while we had an astonishing dinner experience at their traditional Japanese restaurant. Staff are very friendly and attentive. We will come back again in summer to try their outdoor pool!

Clean, beautiful and fun lobby, supportive and VERY helpful and kind staff, good location- close to public transport stops and groceries/food. Luxury it is not, however. The room was clean, but the A/C made a repetitive clanking sound every 20 minutes, so loud it would often wake us up. Our trip was mid-summer, however, and we couldn't go without it. The lights were pretty dim even when all of them were turned on. And the view- well, there was no view. We were overlooking a rooftop yard and the other side of the building. Not a sky in sight. It was a shame. Felt cramped and we didn't bother opening the curtains as not to be seen by others looking out our way.

Our checking in experience gave us a bad impression. We arrived late night after several hours of flight. There was no one to help us with our luggage, especially considering our room was at the far end of the hall. When we first entered our room, we thought the electricity was out. It turned out that there were several lamps that were conveniently burnt out, yet the hotel had no problem letting us switch rooms. In the brightside, the rooms were spacious and the beds were comfy. We didn't spend too much time in the hotel besides for sleeping, so I can't really speak of the amenities available. However, the location was really nice. It was secluded from the main road, yet as soon as you exit the premises, you can find several restaurants around you. There's a bus station nearby that directly connects you to York Mills Station a few minutes away. For the price, I can't complain too much.

Prior to booking this hotel, I checked out the reviews. You know what they say...don't always believe what you read. My husband and I found this hotel exceptional. The hospitality at the front desk, the ease of checking in, and the facility of the parking was above and beyond. The rooms were spotless, nicely decorated and bright. Unfortunately, our stay was short so we did not get ro explore the huge property. Next time we are in Toronto we will definitely stay here again.

We have a premium room, locks never work, spent most of the time going up and down to reception trying to get into our room. Now we are currently waiting to get back into our room for our luggage to get to an appointment. Seems they have to send a guy to change batteries. Now we are going to miss our appointment that we drove to Toronto for. Reception did not expedite the situation at all. Definitely won't be using this hotel again.

Only writing this review because the service provided to me by Kent at the front desk was absolutely incredible. It made my stay at the hotel that much better because I had so many situations going on to check in. No fault of his own of course but he went above and beyond to make sure I was taken care of and that my whole stay was very enjoyable. Felt right at home with my time spent here during this short visit to Toronto. I will be absolutely choosing this hotel again on the near future when I’m visiting next!

My partner and I love the location of this hotel, and have stayed here a few times. The hotel lobby is beautiful! However, the customer service of this location has significantly dropped. The front desk worker on multiple occasions has been disrespectful and lacks customer service skills. On our previous stay, the hotel hallway reeked of cigarettes and nothing was done. Pretty disappointing as this was one of our favourite places!

I attended a group event at the pan Pacific Hotel in North York in November. Everything was satisfactory. I had a tasty salmon for dinner at the restaurant just to the right on the reception area. The restaurant service was fast and the servers were kind. The hotel room was comfortable and I really liked the heated bathroom floors. I would highly recommend both the restaurant and the hotel. I looking forward to another stay there so I can try another dish or two.

Nice hotel, room was clean and spacious. Staff are professional and helpful.Shout out to housekeeping, this lady was so professional and takes pride in carrying out her duties. The hotel is located near a lot of restaurants, I would probably have enjoyed it more in the summer as the outdoor space was very nice. Overall I would recommend .

I checked in with my daughter and the staff was amazing! The bar was beautiful and the lobby was updated. I was very impressed with the overall look. The parking was not far and easy to access. There is a nail salon in the lobby as well. The house keeping was very nice and efficient. If you stay here and the room feels a bit warm just open your balcony window to let the breeze in. There are a number of restaurants and shops to walk to from the hotel or you can eat in the restaurant at the hotel. Due to the traffic we utilized Uber which was very affordable. We stayed for 5 nights. I’ll definitely be staying here again.

I wouldn't stay there again. The staff is clueless and the hotel is not very clean. We came from Montreal on a Thursday night. We had called them to let them know we would get in late. When we got there, they gave us a used room (beds undone, bathroom disgusting). They then gave us another room and there was a lot of hairs in the bed. We went out on Friday and when we came back, my friends sweater, which was on the bed when we left, was missing. We called them a few times about it and each time, they didn't what we were talking snout. Finally, there was a false fire alarm and we had to evacuate. The staff didn't know anything again. Things are poorly handled at this place. I don't recommend.

Stayed here with my wife and child (3 years old). Had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The staff is very kind and helpful with any requests. We'll be coming back here for our next stay in Toronto. It's a little far from most tourist areas but we were okay as we brought our own car.

All was a great experience except the following: a. Elevators were very slow and dysfunctional b. The hotel disallows the use of connecting devices into the TV. I did at least try with my device and it did not work. Then I asked if this was allowed and was answered with no. c. There is only one vegan meal breakfast on the menu and it is the steel cut oats. It was good but can we have a second option? Chickpea omelette is insanely cheap and easy to make and would be a great choice.

I had a really nice stay, the staff was very accommodating and kind. I did have some issues trying to book the room over the phone, so I would suggest booking online. But the place is really nice, you have access to some stores if you're looking for fruits and some basic needs;maybe a 5-8 min walk. I had a really enjoyable and relaxing stay

The view from the room was great and the rooms were clean and well stocked when we showed up. For the price you paid, the group didn't find the staff particularly helpful. We had to call down to get towels for the second night as they cleaned and didn't leave any. After getting one set of towels for two people, we had to ask for another. They don't know the area well enough to give guidance as to how to get places around Toronto, so I would suggest doing your homework if you plan on staying here. The hotel is located about 30-40 minutes North of downtown and the best way to get there is to take an uber to the Oriole Go station and head down to Union, which will take about 35-45 minutes total.

Outdated Hotel and old furniture - the MATTRESS is shot (made my back very sore on the first stay had to check out early) has to be over 10+ years old! King bed and with 2 queen bedbase for support.. very odd for a 4 star rated hotel. Just stay away much better options around!

Hotel is in need of a renovation and not up to the standards you would expect at a Pan Pacific hotel. Rooms are large but are dated and dark. Concrete on balcony was cracked. Sheer drapes in room was torn. Hotel was stingy with bathroom towels and cleaning staff were reluctant to give us extra. Carpets in hallways were stained in spots and always seemed in need of a vacuum. Elevators are very slow and 1 of the 3 was not working causing delays up to 10 minutes waiting for one to arrive. At checkout, they were going to charge more than the reservation was quoted at. We had 3 rooms and each room was overcharged. They corrected it after lots of phone conversations with someone. Hotel seemed understaffed. Positives are the staff was friendly and helpful. The lobby and restaurant was nice. Outdoor pool was a bit dated but still Ok with lots of chairs. Grounds are nice with a big forest at the back.

The hotel was ok. The AC wasn't working when we got there and the sir at the front desk told us that we had a balcony so that we could open it to have some fresh air. We were 4 staying in the room but there only was 1 towel. The phone inside the room wasn't working so I had to get down to get more towels. They weren't even folded, one of the workers just gave them to me rolled into a ball. Overall, the customer service was good. Except for that, the Hotel is pretty but doesn't justify the 4 stars. Here are some pictures of the garden at night. It was really pretty.

The hotel location was 3km from the high way. Some restaurants were nearby within walking distance. We stayed in the King Suites. So the room was big enough for a couple. Bed & pillow were comfortable. Smart TV was available for watching. Netflix. However,,,,,,, 1. the curtain needed to fix. Otherwise the light went through. 2. Bathing set, coffee & tea didn't replenish every day. Add long as I Arequested. 3. Teeth cleaning set was not available in the hotel. I bought from the Shoppers 4. Car parking was charged C$18.00/day. 5. Staff pretended nice. There was a McDonald's soft drink cup in the balcony & didn't clean for 2 nights. Very important....... I made booking via Agoda. 2 days before my stay, I received the cancellation E-mail that mentioned they couldn't charged my Credit Card. I experienced to have 12 hours to provide another credit card. This time, I didn't receive any message or email. I was not able to provide another. Having checked with bank, no transactions had been made in between. Finally I made another same booking by 30% more for the same days same room.

When we entered in the room, we found a bag of takeout left on the small balcony by an unknown tenant (if you stayed in a corner suite you'll know what I'm referring to), toilet had unflushed toilet paper, and bugs suddenly fell on the bed at night gave me a very bad impression of this hotel. We booked more than five nights at this hotel since last year. But I was really disappointed with tonight's room. Fortunately the front desk staff was very nice and moved us to another room smoothly. I hope the cleaning staff at this hotel would work hard to prevent something like this from happening again.
