We got bedbugs. We stayed there in April and I called to let them know three days later. I spoke with a manager who said I would receive a call back regarding the issue within a few days. After three more phone calls over the last several weeks, I have been given no response other then varying times when a manager will be available. I have left messages and spoken to three other people. This is unacceptable to me... especially considering we paid full price for a room. I give one star honestly, because the couple that serve at the restaurant are absolutely lovely. Their service makes my kids want to eat there rather then ordering in from anywhere else. Highly appreciated their kindness. Edited to reply; The staff did not share that info with me, as my call was not returned. We also did not leave the door open as that would be a considerable safety concern not to mention we had young children. Still waiting to speak to someone in person. Thanks!

Thanks for the reply, Kevin. We both know that the video of the lobby would show different. I never have been, nor would I ever be, aggressive. Every employee I dealt with there was wonderful. You were awful. You’re abusive. I should have my expensive headphones back, shame on you. Worst customer service experience of my lifetime with Kevin Porter at front desk. Apparently he’s the GM, but he absolutely brings this place down. The stay wasn’t bad for the price. Unfortunately after checking out I realized that I left my AirPod Pros in my room. After multiple attempts to reach someone by phone, I went back in to the hotel. There aren’t words to describe how rude this person was. After a petty argument because I wouldn’t back down, he reached out to touch my arm. When I asked him not to touch me, he demanded I leave the hotel. Because I asked him not to touch my arm, he assured me that no one would be helping me at the hotel. I’m sure the entire exchange is on film as it happened right in the front lobby. I didn’t ever get my headphones back, no one attempted to look for them. Perhaps Mr. Porter has them? I am absolutely appalled that this person is in any authoritative role, the other (friendly) staff were clearly afraid of him. Absolutely disgusting. I wouldn’t stay here again if they paid me to stay.

Overall, an average hotel. The pros: - heated bathroom floors! - convenient location (less than 20 minute drive from some major attractions; Tim Horton’s within walking distance) - plenty of parking (more at the back which was actually closer to our room than the front lot) - friendly staff - HUGE indoor pool with beautiful trees surrounding, although we went in the fall which helped with the colours - weight room looked pretty well supplied, although we didn’t have time to use it Cons: - very dated… obvious wear and tear in various aspects of the room from use over time - wallpaper chipping - some pool chairs were broken, and they could use more on the pool deck in general - overall while we didn’t have any major cleanliness issues, the place didn’t feel super clean and fresh - parking fee (still listing this as a con despite it being the norm in most big city hotels - cost was 11.95$ per night for one vehicle) A couple notes: 1. We were here for a brief overnight stay for my brother’s 30th birthday. We were surprising him there. His girlfriend had booked their room separately, and then called ahead to ensure we could have access to their room prior to their arrival so that we could set up a few decorations and be waiting in there to surprise him. This was arranged and facilitated by staff, much appreciated. 2. Around midnight, despite ample signage of the no smoking in rooms/balconies, our room began reeking of pot. We assumed this was from the room next to ours, and given the fact we had our 8-year old son in the room, we brought the issue to the front desk. Upon asking, we were offered a different room for the evening. It was inconvenient to have to suddenly pack up everything and move at that time, however we realize this was not an issue with the staff nor the hotel itself, and we were greatly appreciative of the staff helping us out. As I said initially, it is a good price for the location. With some major updates and renovation, and we’d be happy to stay here again.

Zero stars if it was an option. Had a pet friendly room for 1 night, 2 double beds. Lay down around 10:00pm for bed, headboard falls off the wall onto my head. It was being held onto the wall with the assistance of medical tape. They gave me free parking and removed the pet fee. They did offer to move my room however I declined as it was late and we had an early flight and what difference would that make when the damage was already done. When I requested a refund on the room, after some back and forth was essentially told they'd upgrade me next time and sometimes "life happens". What kind of service is this. There won't be a next time. Kevin Porter, manager of the hotel was not helpful and could care less about customer service. I am shocked that others rate this hotel anything but a 1. They take no ownership and blames their guests for their inadequate hospitality. Now they're offering day use specials of rooms, wonder what type of clientele that'll draw.

This is a great 3.5-4 star hotel, I've give it 5 stars to counteract what I see as unfair negative reviews. I read the reviews after booking and was of course was concerned. NOT one of the concerns I saw felt accurate. If you're traveling to Toronto and want a great location that gives you a solid sleep, easy access to the city, and at a great rate you couldn't go wrong with this place. Service - Every single person we dealt with was friendly, professional, and helpful. They do the hotel a great service by being so lovely to deal with. State of building - The building was way nicer than then reviews made it sound. For the value, it was a great building. Could be updated, but I'd rather pay sub $200 for a hotel than have the facilities regularly updated. This is a place where I'm sleeping, not hosting my inlaws for dinner.

Second visit there. Must say the breakfast buffet was amazing and the service there was so friendly! Our room was clean. Nice big flat screen on the wall beds were comfortable. The location well it's Toronto, especially being where the Don Valley is. Give yourself time to get there! Other than that we enjoyed ourselves!

This hotel was super disappointing. Let’s start with the fact that they make you pay $11.95 a night to park, but when you go to park… there isn’t ample parking. So off you track over to “additional parking” and also no luck. We had to hike our way back after parking the car. Let’s continue with the fact that for two days straight we didn’t get new towels. Why you ask? Because the cleaning lady told us “we don’t have any”. In a hotel that big you don’t have anymore clean towels to give? We came back from our day out and two times the room wasn’t cleaned and when they did clean it, they didn’t replace the coffee, and gave us one towel (and if you’re a toddler it would dry your body) and an even smaller one. The front desks staff? NOT FRIENDLY. Asking them where their indoor pool was involved me having to interrupt their conversation in another language, and being told rudely downstairs to the left. That was not helpful! The room itself was very clean (even when it wasn’t cleaned for two days) it was large but super dated. You can see where they painted and went over the mirror and lines in the bathroom. I’ve painted my home better than that. If you book and have been to a lot of hotels please reconsider this one. Location is great. That’s pretty much it.

The facilities were okay overall. The bed felt like we were sleeping on a sheet of plywood. The cleanliness of the room when we arrived was subpar, in my opinion. When I stepped into the bathtub to shower, it sounded like I was walking on bubble wrap. The tub consistently creaked and popped as I moved. Buy any snacks or drinks elsewhere, the store was WAY overpriced, and the restaurant only charged $4 for a small cup of black coffee. What a great deal.... I seriously doubt I will return, and I will not be recommending this place to anyone I like.

Found ourselves in need of a pet-friendly room last minute. This hotel was available, not $600/night and the listed pet fee was $20. Read the reviews but hoped for the best. Received message advising me that pet fee is $40/night. As soon as you reach the front of the hotel you can tell what you're in for. Litter everywhere, no garbage cans, stained concrete.. The only bright spot was the friendly and quick check-in. Our room was on the 1st floor. This hotel is old, the carpets look dirty, the wallpaper is peeling everywhere. Our room had minimal lighting, I had to use my cell phone light near the desk area. There's a very loud portable AC unit which we were immediately thankful for because we could hear our neighbors through the connecting door as if they were standing behind a screen. Our dog found a child's sock somewhere in the room. Also note that if you have a dog, there is only a very small patch of grass near the entry/exit ramp for potty. All other spaces are gravel or have keep dogs off spaces. In any event, there was so much miscellaneous trash around the entrance I was afraid my dog would step on something. All this came to $300.

I really never take time to do reviews but I have to as I feel that I overpaid and the place does not worth the amount I paid. First, the hotel lobby looks kind of "nice" but if you enter the lobby with your luggage there is no ramp or way to go to the elevators, you have to go back outside and used the mini ramp entrance besides the lobby one. Second, the room looks old (TV table, desk etc) and the curtains were ripped. Third, the place supposed to be no smoking allowed but there was weed smell everywhere (the halls, balcony), it was so bad that even my room smelled like that. Fourth, they soda machine was broken, it would not take coins or bills. Fifth, there was humidity in the walls and loose cables that were not safe as I was traveling with a toddler. The 2 only positive thing were the bed and the cleaning staff that was really nice. I paid almost 600 for 2 nights that didn't even include breakfast to stay in a hotel that should be called motel instead. Do not let the pictures posted by them fool you, the place is far far away from looking like that. Really disappointed, I will not go to that place again.

Worse Hotel experience. They should be truthful and call themselves a MOTEL with a pool. But then again. a mote; would offer more amenities Except for a TV nothing else was provided. On the First night do not be surprised if a loud alarm is starts ringing with no explanation giving by staff. The room was extremely hot and guests are unable to change temperature. .Contrary to what is advertised there is no room service. better order your food through UBER Eats, Doordash or skip the dishes. Trying o reach their restaurant is almost impossible. Do yourself a favor and do no waste your money. Last but not least. the rooms are subpar

The rooms are very outdated and broken. Within our room the dresser drawers were busted, the phone didn’t work, vent in the bathroom was COVERED in dirt and dust looks like no one has attempted to clean this since opening. Main lobby is very clean and presentable but the rooms are very low quality. The bed frame was missing a piece as well. When we turned the heat on the device in the room let out an awful smell, we were not shocked when this occurred as the thing was practically falling off the wall. We called down for extra pillows (on our cell phone as the hotel phone was broken) as we were 4 ppl and each bed only has 3 pillows.. we prefer 2 each. We were advised that we should already have 6 and that this should be plenty. We asked if we could still have a couple more and the woman went “FINE. I’ll see if I can get some” no one ever came or called us back to advise it was not possible. The rooms could definitely use some upgrading if they are going to charge hotel prices as it had more of a motel vibe once within the room. Very deceiving first impressions when you walk into the hotel vs the room you receive.

We stayed for 3 nights. Although the people working were friendly, the rooms weren't really spectacular. We paid for a garden view, we got nothing of the sort. One thing worth mentioning is that YOU NEED TO PAY EXTRA TO USE THE POOLS (apparently). We aren't sure it it was a scam or not, but no where on the website during booking did it mention there would be a fee to use the pool. While my partner and I were swimming outdoor, a worker approached us and asked if we "signed in and paid the $25 fee to use the pool for 4 hours." Never in my entire life has I ever paid EXTRA to use the INDOOR OR OUTDOOR POOL. Although we said we had no idea it was an extra fee, he said "don't worry if you see my boss just wave and say hi, he won't get mad. Don't worry I'll let you swim for free today and tomorrow it's on me." So we were pretty confused. It made no sense why he would say we need to pay then let us swim for free. I think he was seeing if we would actually pay or not. It definitely felt like a scam. We stayed here cause the price was the cheapest in the area. Keep in mind that you get what you pay for. And the extra hidden random fees are a bit suspicious. Wouldn't stay here again

It is what it is. We were there neither for business nor pleasure but it served well. Not a great location for tourists as it's far from downtown. Advertised as non smoking except our room reaked of stale cigarettes... maybe the non smoking is new , I don't know. staff was great and helpful, spectacular cleaning staff, they were so friendly and considerate. They all deserve a huge raise. Indoor and outdoor pool, I made use of the sauna and indoor pool and they were very nice. There's also a gym which looked pretty good.

Overall this hotel provided a good experience. The pool and glass ceiling was beautiful. Gym was functional and had a variety of machines. We had a balcony room with mini fridge and microwave. We couldn’t hear noise from any other room unless the occupants were also on their balcony, which was welcome. The front desk answered all questions and responded to our requests quickly. The room was clean and maintained. The cons were that there are some areas of the hotel in need of minor repairs . In terms of the price you are getting a good deal.

3/5 stars overall. Front desk service is pretty good but a little bit of a wait… Gift shop makes up for the lack of responsiveness. Rooms are decent, could be 5/5 but there are old appliances and HVAC units. Honestly would have been a 5/5 for ballin’ on a budget but there are 0 I mean ZERO microwaves in the building so good luck warming up your leftover room service.

Decent hotel, clean, but quite old and needs updates. The staff is very nice and welcoming, especially the cleaning staff. The room we stayed in was very dated, with an AC / heating unit straight out of the 80s and sounded like a loud jet engine when it’s on. We had no fridge and many lights were burnt out or flickering in our room. The beds were comfortable and the bathroom had heated floors which we liked. Overall not a bad stay, but definitely a little pricy for what you get.

The hotel has few in-hotel dining options. I required a room change and the front desk was very accommodating. Room was quiet. Location is excellent if you're driving, but not so good if you are restricted to using public transit. I considered the value for money to be good.

It was an excellent place. 2 minor complaints. It said there was a Keurig in the room and it was just a regular coffee maker, and said there was a buffet breakfast you could pay for and there wasn't one. The food at the restaurant was delicious though. Staff were all friendly. Pools were lovely. Grounds lined with trees so it was quite beautiful.

I’ve come here a few times, and it’s always a pleasant experience. The price is hard to beat! Every employee we’ve come across on our trips here has been incredibly friendly and helpful. The rooms are nothing fancy, but they still have everything you need. They’re clean, and the beds are comfortable. The pools are both clean and enjoyable to swim in.

Quick service. Many amenities available. Pool looks nice (although we didn’t find time to swim). This hotel, however, is very outdated. No ventilation in the bathroom, poor ventilation in the room (hot despite AC on). Good value for the price (under $200/night), especially when surrounding hotels/Airbnbs are charging so much more. Parking was confusing/tightly packed and the charge for parking was a little steep (approx. $15/n).

The room is a huge disappointment. The toilet would be small for a 5-year-old. The bathroom is incredibly tiny. The air conditioner is underpowered. The refrigerator, while on a raised platform, isn't sufficiently anchored to it, so when you open the door the magnetic hold on it will force the refrigerator to be dragged a little bit and is in danger of falling off the raised platform. The desk chair is underwhelming, my leg was falling asleep after 45 minutes on it. It's a fixed desk chair not a one on wheels. No free breakfast included, and you must pay 1195 per day for parking. It seems pretty much everything that you might want here cost extra. Perhaps it's a good value here in Toronto, but you couldn't prove it by me.

SCUFFED. Super 8s in the prairies had better rooms that were more upscale feeling. Rented two suites, other party had to be moved to *three* different rooms because of broken air conditioners, bald headed attendant told my sister that they can "put them out in the rain" when they asked to be moved. Patio doors in half the suites other party were moved into did not open and the suite I was in the lock was broken and door wouldn't open which is a fire escape hazard. only knocked $120 off our overall bill of $2300? Better off sleeping in your car. Avoid, do not even consider this place for potential lodging.

Make sure to use ʜᴏᴛᴇʟʙoʟʟʏ.ᴄᴏm when booking any room. This web site will compare thousands of booking websites and normally will have prices a lot cheaper compared to others! Thank me later! This place is the best rated in this area. I have been coming here for a very long time. If you stay for a few days you definitely won't be let down. It was a very pleasant stay at the Don Valley Hotel. Customer service was amazing, the amenities were lovely and the rooms were spacious! I think this is my new favorite hotel in Toronto. 10/10! Would recommend!

Nice hotel with a lot of amenities (gym, indoor pool, outdoor pool, "business center" to work etc.) Perhaps not a 5 star hotel, but it got everything you need and it was very close to the event we were attending. The breakfast is ok and not expensive. Wifi works well and I could work easily from their "Business Center". In terms of practicality, everything you need is there. Also it is foot distance from very nice museums and attractions. All in all, I would go there again if whatever I'm attending is close.

Who charges extra for a mini fridge and microwave!? These guys do. I could have stayed at Motel 6 for cheaper, had a fridge and microwave, plus a comfy bed. Could feel every spring. There doubles not queens. The room was clean. However, waking up the next morning, tried to make coffee and now the coffee maker doesn't work. Went down to the front desk. All they could say is wait for housekeeping or pay for coffee at the restaurant. Just wow!

I was blacklisted from this hotel about 5 years ago. From this nasty staff hotel. All because I was escorting back then. I enjoyed my stay there. But I would appreciate it if you un black list me because I Dont do that type of work anymore thanks. Candice.

Goodness I can’t even begin. Well, the carpet is pulling up. The iron literally stuck to my shirt because there was no non stick left. It was stick on. The bed made spring sounds like I was in a cartoon. After I used the soap I was ashier than areas near a volcano. I just cannot believe this hotel was $150/night. Cannot. It’s not. Worth. $50.

Worst hotel ever. The staff is very rude they hung up the phone on me multiple times when I was just trying to ask a simple question. Mr.porter is the general manager and he told me he’s the owner of the hotel and that I shouldn’t waste his time and hung up the phone on me twice. The rest of the staff was also very rude. Rooms are never clean either, definitely not worth the price!! Consider a different hotel cause this one is the worst.

The old girl's seen better days. Disturbing hobos in parking area, cable tv sucks, rusty water on turning on taps on sink or shower, midnight staff don't answer phones when there's a problem, they charge an "incidental fee" when you're checking in like it or not, and if you're a tourist they gouge you with 4% municipal tourist fee. Literally paying a tax on top of a tax. Place is a rip off.

This hotel isn't super luxurious but it's comfortable. The service at the restaurant and front desk is a little spotty at times. I had to make adjustments to a reservation and the front desk wasn't helpful at all. I just had to make a new reservation and cancel the old one. I'd stay here again, but I don't expect consistent good service from their staff at this point.

2 days ago i was staying in the hotel for two nights as i was moving from another city to a new city and i booked their hotel for stay. I had alot of actually all of my stuff with me. When i moved in i did not bothered anyone i carried all my stuff, a receptionist i don’t know the name helped me she was very kind. Their housekeepers started talking me that oh how she has whole house with her blah bla blah she is moving, she has do not disturb sign on the room and needs her privacy and those shameless ladies were talking right infront of me. I even tipped them because i really liked the service of their employee Rahul he was great! The morning i was suppose to checkout i asked receptionist that i need someone’s help to go down the ramp as my trolly is really heavy and i can’t do it alone because a bad accident can happen. She said no one is available in the hotel to help me. I waited 5 minutes i could not take the risk. I went back i saw a guy there on reception and told him my situation the other receptionist started getting rude with me that oh he can’t help you. The man said okay i will come. When he came he started lecturing me on how i have so much stuff with me and how rude i am rather than looking at their own mistake of being rude first. The receptionist called someone to check my room before checkout but she could not call someone to help me ? Guest services are all about giving guests a good and safe experience which i did not felt at all. These people never to wanted help me and their service was ridiculous.

Dirty. Dirty. Dirty. Room 463. Errant hairs everywhere. Place needs to be scrubbed with a vat of bleach… and $20 worth of caulking would go a long way. Walls are paper thin, bed was soft but sheets were clean (I triple checked!). Was here for one night (on business) Would not stay here again.

My four year old daughter found a vape under the bed. I understand the cleaning staff is dealing with a bunch of rooms in a certain amount of time, but they could atleast check under beds and counters. Hotel staff was nice but the rooms are in rough shape. We also asked for more blankets twice and they never came. The lobby is a pretty neat layout and so is the pool, however it needs renovations. There is so much potential in this hotel but no one is really taking care of it. One of the entrances is a such a steep drive up so if youre driving a manual car you better send it in the next gear up quickly

We stayed here for a short break the 9th to the 16th of September. The hotel was easy to find and reception was helpful and really easy to check-in. We were on the second floor and the room was large and had two double beds and the beds were very firm, and to my liking, the bathroom had underfloor heating which was pleasurable. The shower was hot and powerful. The view was to the indoor pool. It was a very quiet hotel considering that it was full up. Only problem was parking. Sometimes the car park was full up and we had to use the additional additional car park, I will definitely come back to this hotel

The positive for this hotel is the staff - welcoming, willing to help - otherwise quite tired and needs refurbishment - the rooms and public areas. There is free WiFi and parking. Meals attract extra cost. My bed was comfortable and the shower was good.

I'm sad and disappointed with the decline in this hotel. I've stayed here once or twice a year for the last, several years. I checked into my room only to find a chunk of drywall and tools laying in the bathroom. Staff were apologetic and moved me to a new room. My next room (#563) was run down and musty with a strong smell of old, cigarette smoke. The bed head boards were missing trim, the bed was made hastily so the top sheet only came 1/2 way, there were marks (peeling?)on the wallpaper. For the first time here, I felt I needed to do a big, bed bug/bug check. By the morning, my dust allergies were in overdrive. The carpeting in the hallway is buckled and a tripping hazard. This has been one of my favourite hotels in the city but, I'll be paying extra to stay somewhere with higher hygiene and maintenance standards in the future.

The building definitely shows its age, but that didn't stop me from relaxing in my room during my stay! The bathroom layout and counterspace situation honestly were better than a lot of other hotels I've been to in the last few years. I didn't notice anything wrong with the room besides a few peels in the wallpaper which again come with age and didn't affect my stay. I should acknowledge that as I was first arriving, there were quite a few people standing right outside the front door smoking weed. The strong stench didn't make for a good first impression, but I don't blame the hotel for those guests being inconsiderate and I didn't experience anything like that again inside the building or on my way out later on.

I stayed overnight on December 23 and it was a snow storm outside so the room was available immediately for us and there was parking. The room was clean with a t.v and a coffee machine. There was plenty of hot water. The heat worked great. The bistro downstairs was good. Breakfast was also delicious .The staff were friendly and helpful.

I stayed her overnight on Dec 21, 2021 during the pandemic. This is an older hotel built in 1963. It is showing its age however the hotel is comfortable enough to enjoy your stay. It is a huge hotel with cavernous lobby. I found the staff friendly and efficient. During the pandemic the hotel is not busy and as far as safety goes, I felt they were taking all the necessary precautions.

I thought we were in a third world country prison. Please avoid this hotel at all cost! Spend the extra amount on any other place. Parking is not free. Rooms smelled liked someone just finished a pack of cigarettes before we arrived. Cigarettes and needles on the balcony. Holes in the walls. Pool has mold all around it. Most gym equipment are broken. There were people telling all night. One man screaming and kids crying "mommy". We waited 15 minutes because staff was not present at the front desk when we checked in. Walls in the hallway were destroyed. Beds were uncomfortable. We had 2 beds and one was not done. Floor of bathroom was sticky. Furniture was broken. Even the champagne box was dirty. The towel rack was rusty. We told the staff about our room smelling like smoke and the staff just said: "we will make note of it". Really! If you want to make money and make a video about the worse hotel in pick this one.

This was by far the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. I talked to the manager and he said he would get back to me. I have left multiple messages and he has not. The hotel has black mold in multiple bathrooms. This is a public health issue. I saw mold in 2 bathrooms. They had to check at least 10 others to find me one without mold. On closer review it also had mold. When I asked for additional chairs for my room I had to convince her that she could in fact send me a few extra chairs for a meeting. Then it took over an hour to get those chairs. I had to file a noise complaint after several hours of banging and slamming sounds above me. It took another hour to get it to stop. Worst hotel and customer service ever!

Came on a company booking with a colleague. My colleague's booking was charged to the company while mine was charged to myself. I mentioned this when checking in but there was no negotiating with reception and they doubled down. As it was late I accepted this and went to my room. Soon as I entered my room, they called and apologized and said they'd made an error. Ok no problem. But after checking out I was charged on my card. So there was a charge when I checked in which was reversed but on checking out I was told everything was taken care of and then received a charge again... Now I have to go through a whole admin process to remedy the mix up between my company and the hotel. Sure mistakes happen but there's no cost to the hotel to remedy the mistake and it's all on the client to use their time to get it sorted out...They reached out but fixing these things after the fact is always a pain point. Regarding the room, there was hair in the bathroom, stained towels, lots of things not plugged in or working properly (chargers and sockets). Felt pretty old and worn. But it functioned fine and I'm not fussy. Felt more old motel quality. Turn on the tap in the sink and the power would cause it to fly out of the sink onto the floor. That kind of thing... On a plus side the room service is excellent and the staff are generally excellent. Just feels like a lack of investment over a sustained period of time...This hotel is fine for a low budget short term stay that's not too far from downtown and well located for that side of the city.

Staff very friendly and helpful. It is an older hotel, but clean. I was disappointed there was no mini fridge provided for guest use in the room though.

I stayed here with my mother last week for her to attend an appointment at Sunnybrook hospital. Everything seemed nice and good online until we got there and we live 3 hrs north of Toronto. The staff were friendly, not very wheelchair accessible, the air conditioner in the room didn't work, no microwave, no fridge, garbage cans the size of a shoe, the patio door was very hard to open, had to pay for parking, pillows were small and flat, we had fish and chips at the restaurant and the batter was not thoroughly cooked it was raw inside. We were not pleased with our stay and will never stay here again.

Rooms are disgusting, poor air quality(smells like smoke & pot), beds have bed bugs, staffs are tremendously rude and obnoxious, some of the most ignorant people you will ever meet. Originally booked two nights but because the rooms were filled with bugs. We didn’t even stay for 1, we checked out and requested a refund. They told us that the “charge” on the card is not a charge, it’s only a hold. So we left. They ended up double charging me and refuse to deal with the situation when I call. Straight scammers. I will escalate this problem with my credit card company as they charge me for nights and other things that I am unaware of. BE AWARE DO NOT STAY HERE. i can only assume these 3+ plus reviews are not authentic. Even 2 stars is too much. This dump along with its employees aren’t even worth 1 star. Absolute trash. They take zero accountability for any wrong actions done by their staffs. They think they are perfect people and refer to themselves as “the boss” when you ask them for their names.

This "hotel" is absolute garbage. It's nearly $200 per night (I had to pay $40 extra JUST TO HAVE A FRIDGE IN MY ROOM) and STILL breakfast is not complimentary, you need to pay $6.25 for it. The vending machines either spit out your money or they eat it without giving you anything UNLESS you specifically give a $5 bill. If I could give this place zero stars, I would. If there's another place you can stay at, GO THERE. THIS PLACE IS A NIGHTMARE. I will say I respect the room service people who suggested I go to the store downstairs to get water, which would cost me half the price it would to get it from them (the store was closed but at least they were the only ones who cared not to eat more of my money).

Mixed review. They gave us a bad room on main floor, we slept one night, ac was not working among many issues with that room, then I complained and they upgraded my room to deluxe room, I loved it, it was very good for the price, then I liked it soo much that I had to fight and get my stay extended to keep that room. Breakfast was some $18 but not very good so won’t recommend it but these people got a great indoor pool.

Worst hotel I ever stayed. Paid 150$+14$ parking and we can smell smoking everywhere in lobby and elevator. Heater not working properly and internet was down till midnight. I lost my keys somewhere so I called them back to see if any cleaning lady can find it in my room but a really rude lady from housekeeping department said why don’t you come back and check by yourself?! With same amount of money I could stay at Sheraton in Richmond hill. Worst decision I ever made to come here and the area is not even convenient as expected.

Rooms were ok. Heater really didn't work that great but enough to get thru night. The one mattress in our room looked a little wonky, caved in the centre. You could smell cigarette smoke on hallway when coming to room on 4th floor. Non smoking hotel to boot. Other than that ok. Friendly staff which was good.

Did not stay but visited a friend for few hours. Easy to find. Lobby area nice, staff seemed courteous, ceilings are low so hallways are dark. The room looked as though it hadn't been dusted for a week and the curtains like then haven never been taken down and washed in at least 1 year. I was not impressed and probably would not opted to stay here unless had no other choice.

Just checked in and already find myself here. Main lobby male bathroom was disgraceful, 4 toilets filled, one had to be wiped down for my kids to use it. None of the touchless soap dispensers work. Booked a room for my family of 5, requested a cot and upon arrival found out that they don't have one and won't know until 930pm when housekeeping arrives. Manager doesn't have access to the housekeeping area that is apparently locked and can't remedy the situation at all. Garbage was also found in our room and it's evident the cleaners don't move furniture when cleaning. Coming back from talking to the manager, Had to stop a worker from entering the room while my family was changing into their bathing suits as he needed to change the filters in the AC unit.... Probably should be done prior to check in ... To top it off, when booking the hotel the main attraction was two pools (one indoor one outdoor) but to our surprise the indoor pool is being renovated??? Not advertised on the website... Manager wouldn't do anything to smooth things over. Dreading our stay. Just avoid it....

Good hotel and convenient location if you need to be on the east end of the city/close to the DVP! The staff are very friendly and helpful. The rooms are nothing spectacular but for what you pay they are quite comfortable and clean! The hotel has nice amenities - indoor + outdoor pools, a restaurant with room service, and 24/7 reception. Note you do have to pay $11.95/day to park and if you want to check in before 2:45 you have to pay $40. Overall very satisfied with our stay!

Fine hotel, it's in a quite secure location. But the pictures provided (look computer generated) did not represent our room. Outdated and even came with a CD player/radio. Not much parking (paid), so if you get there late be prepared to search for a spot. Staff was great and welcoming. Overall decent location and price for 1 night.

Booked an accessible room two days ago. The room size and beds were big and comfortable. However accessible features were not what I expected. All chairs in the lobby are low with no side handles. There are stairs in the lobby to get up to the first floor and an old chair lift that they dont seem to know how to use. The guest uses a walker and cannot bend his hips. I asked if the toilet had a raised seat when booking. It did not. No bars on the side wall of the toilet for sitting or standing. There was no room service and the guest could not walk to the dining room or sit in the small plastic chairs in the restaurant. The shower had bars and a bench. No non skid mat. Please consider upgrades for guests with disabilities .

I booked a room for last night (booked in advance). Check in is listed at 3:00pm and I arrived at 4:30 to find out that they didn't have any rooms available. I had to wait until nearly 5 for a room to be assigned. The hallways are run down and dimly lit. It was hard to tell if the carpet was really worn down or a hideous pattern. The room size was adequate for my needs, however the bed was rock hard, the chair nearly fell apart when I sat on it and the shower fixtures certainly are showing their age. What most concerned me is that the clock/radio had what could have been blood or some dark fluid under its screen. When brought to the front desks' attention, they said that they would change it out while I was at a function. Well, they didn't replace it. Cleaning protocols are lacking and I certainly can't see myself staying there again.

Price was best, yes it's not downtown but those locations are cost prohibitive vs a few more minutes drive. Room was clean, bed was comfortable. The chair in the corner with a reading light would have been better if there was a receptacle for the light to plug in to. TV remote didn't work but the tv's buttons did. In suite mini fridge was good. Anna the receptionist was wonderful. I'd use it again

My stay at this hotel left much to be desired. The room had an unpleasant odor, lacked a lounge chair, and the dim bathroom lighting was far from ideal. Safety was a concern, exacerbated by challenging elevator accessibility for disabled guests. Additionally, the absence of included parking and outdated pool facilities, especially in colder weather, detracted from the overall experience. The limited amenities further contributed to a less-than-ideal stay.

This hotel has a vermin issue in the rooms. Stayed one night last Thursday and there were mice living in the bed frame of room 350. The box spring was chewed up underneath... When we first saw a mouse we called the front desk. The receptionist didn't apologize, but instead asked: "did you have any food in your room?". We requested to switch rooms and that wasn't a problem. However if I hadn't brought the issue up to the front desk while checking out the next day they would have done nothing for us. They ended up giving a $50 discount... The rooms were also not clean and not well maintained. Pretty gross.
