I enjoyed my stay here. The staff were nice and helpful. It’s about 30 minutes walk to the centre of the city so make sure you factor that in. The room was large enough, nothing over the top. Paid a reasonable price. The pool and sauna facilities are quite good. The gym however needs an upgrade.

Pleasant and quiet stay. Room was comfortable with microwave, fridge, coffee maker, sofa, and desk. Better TV reception would have been nice, especially on the bedroom TV (only had 4 channels) but wasn't a big deal. Staff were friendly and helpful. Close to many amenities nearby, including coffee, and groceries. It's not super fancy, but great for a quick stay. I would stay there again.

Stayed here in March. The room was out dated, shabby, and dusty. Shower could have nicer as well. The pool area was absolutely disgusting. Only one working elevator and the other was boarded up with wood and TINY. I was going to take the stairs at one point because my room was at the end off the hallway. I opened the door and GAGGED. It was atrocious and stunk badly of cigarettes. I will definitely not be staying at a Ramada ever again. This is the second stay at one recently and it was appalling.

I enjoyed my stay there. The location in the downtown was great. Many places to visit and eat at walking distances. My room had a hall apart from bed-room to relax as well. Their was a dining table/business table as well. The room was clean and bed was comfortable to sleep. The receptionist 'Tsion' was extremely welcoming and helpful to make my stay very convenient. It was my first visit to the city and she helped me immensely by providing great deal for hotel parking. The hot-tub next to indoor swimming-pool was relaxing as well. I found my stay there definitely worth the price.

PLACE IS CLOSED....the have been renovating for 3 years now and doesn't seem to be opening in the near future. Work has been at a snails pace.....EDIT: THE PLACE IS NOW OPEN renovations are completed and the gym looks cool which is situated in the front part of the hotel overlooking the park.

This hotel closed in early 2020 and underwent extensive renovations over the last 3+ years. It recently reopened under a new banner. The Hampton Inn & Suites by Hilton. Same owners. Parking is now $45 + tax per day. No on-site restaurant or bar, and the pool is now closed.

It's a decent stay. Staff was moderately friendly and the rooms were slightly dated but not too bad. The sleep and bedding was comfortable, the bathrooms seemed to be recently renovated and worked well. Room was stocked properly and front desk was helpful with any questions I had. I would stay again.

Came here for a family vacation. Was 19, and was able to drink at the Ramada bar legally, which was exciting for me, as the legal drinking age where I'm from is 21! The location of this Ramada is great, right across the street from a beautiful park! The people in this area are also very kind, and the crime rate in this area is surprisingly low.

All in all, a great first time experience. Very clean and we'll thought out. Pool and Sauna was a great addition to our overall experience. I was surprises a section of floor tile was removed at the Bathroom Door entrance to make room for a useless strip of Marble? Check-in and Check-out was efficiently done. Would stay here again.

We really like this hotel and have stayed there a number of times. The restaurant is great and so convenient to have on-site. The pool is beautiful as well. The front desk staff are very helpful and polite. The room we were given on our last stay was in need of a makeover. The bed mattress was very uncomfortable and worn and the carpeting was old and dirty looking. We were less than impressed and will certainly be checking if renovations have been done before staying there again.

I was very surprised with how big the room was. We had a living room, dining room, separate bathroom with shower and a whole separate bedroom. Their pillows are amazing and I slept great. There is a TV in the living room area and bedroom which was nice. I would have given the hotel 5 stars, but when I went into the washroom there was some hair on the ground and something in the shower that I didn’t want to touch. It looked like the cleaning staff only made the faucet sparkle. The mildew on the bottom of the shower was pretty nasty as well. That was pretty gross and hard to get over and want to shower. I also found the person who checked us on was not friendly at all. Oh, and be prepared to pay $40.00 for parking!!!!!!!. Considering you’re spending a lot on the room itself it was pretty shocking the charge for parking. I wasn’t impressed with that either.

Parking garage is absolutely awful. 50+ dollars a night. Horrible signage. You have to pay online but there are old machines everywhere to waste your time. I paid them and parked in the correct spot and they gave me a ticket. Ruining my trip. Good luck finding the condos.

Very poor customer service. We've been staying at the hospital in the ICU waiting room for a week. When we were told that the Ramada Plaza hotel offered a discounted rate for family member of ICU patients, we called to make a reservation. After going back and forth with the reservation desk (they were very uncooperative), we finally got a reservation at a discounted rate. When we arrived at the hotel, the front desk refused to honor the discount, told us that they could not find our reservation in the system, and told us we had to sign the document agreeing to the full price rate. When we refused to sign the document, she attempted to lie to us telling us that the document wasn't an agreement to the rate, but simply for parking. We proceeded to read the document out loud, where it clearly stated that if we signed the document, we agreed to allow the hotel to charge our credit card the full price. So not only were they uncooperative, but they also lied to our face and tried to trick is into paying more. These ladies were not helpful, so we decided to call the reservation line again. The reservation people were able to find out reservation without any problem, at the discounted rate, and finally after confirming with the reservation desk, the lady suddenly was able to find our reservation (obviously she lied about not being able to find it before) and then said she was "taking a risk" by offering us the discounted rate, as if we were putting her and her job on the line. Terrible service, I won't ever be returning to this hotel.

All the staff are very friendly. I have visited this hotel several times for more than 10 years and they have been consistently kind and helpful. This is my first choice hotel to stay in for the City of Toronto, Canada.

Well I forgot to take my pictures this time, long trip, very tired. What I will say is they upgraded my room for free as a result of a booking issue, which was nice, the attached underground car park is reasonably priced, video monitored and you can even leave your car there until 6pm the day you check out, even after checking out which I thought was great for doing some sightseeing after I was done in the hotel. I do not give perfect ratings easily because I literally expect perfection or very near perfection to award that to something I'm rating. However besides a few minor maintenance issue (a few loose screws and a broken bedside lamp, loose door) I have nothing negative to say about my stay or overall experience at the Ramada plaza Hotel by Wyndham. I would definitely stay again and recommend it to anyone needing to stay in the health district of Toronto.

Check in was so slow. Hidden fee for parking. $30 for one night. King bed had tiny little baby half pillows. Tv is small and blurry little channel selection. No fridge or closet. Head someone say they had bed bugs last time they stayed. Just feels gross here. Not worth the “savings”. Honestly the motels are a higher level of stay than this hotel. I wish I could give 0 stars.
