Enjoyed the stay but prob wouldn't return. It was perfect for the purpose of my trip. But if staying longer then 2 days, I would prob pick another hotel. No pool and very strict after hours no entry/exit is 2 cons. That being said, for the price, the executive suite can't be beat! Free coffee and muffins is a good perk, and Def a must since this hotel hasn't seemed to get the memo that covid is over and their restaurant is still closed! They should have discounted the room due to this, it was very inconvenient .

I stayed here with my mom and son who is 14 months and it was perfect for us. Rooms are big, I was able to get a crib. And they were able to accommodate early and late check out which was super helpful. We really enjoyed our stay, we had everything we needed and perfect for a family. They had a free small breakfast in the morning, coffee and muffins. The location is absolutely perfect. Walking distance to everything. Our room also had great views. They are service dog friendly and while my dog is a PSA, he did not stay with us and just came to pick us up :)

Avoid staying here. The night management, customer service and security guard are incredibly rude. They treat you like criminals when you enter the hotel asking you for if and names of what room you are staying in. I’ve stayed in many hotels and never received such poor treatment. I would never stay at another Cambridge suites or recommend this chain to anyone. Best booking at the Hilton or Marriott where they have hospitality values.

Great room. Met all our needs. Stayed for 1 night to go see a show nearby. Staff were so kind, helpful and welcoming. Room was clean and spacious. Bed was comfortable. Would stay here again in the future.

Overall it was a good stay. The rooms are dated, decor-wise (so much brown...), but very functional. Comfortable bed. Only thing that was missing in the room was a kettle. Front desk staff was excellent. Very friendly. The morning muffins and coffee were disappointing. It would not take much for the hotel to get some freshly baked muffins in instead of pre-packaged! Other than that, I can recommend this hotel.

Don't forget to use HoteITully.ᴄᴏm when booking a hotel. This website will compare thousands of booking web sites and normally will have rooms much cheaper than others! Thank me later! This hotel is one of the most well known in this area. I've been coming here for a very long time. If you stay for a few days you definitely won't regret it. We've stayed here many times. The rooms are clean and comfortable. We love the proximity to everything. We are usually able to walk anywhere we choose to go. Food and entertainment are right around the corner.

Stayed here for 1 night to attend a show downtown. We paid with points so can't speak to the price. The location is amazing. Meridian Hall was a 9 minute walk away as well as a bunch of awesome restaurants. The room was clean and super spacious with a cool view. Staff was friendly. Parking was convenient and easy. There were a lot of signs about the party policy so if you're looking to have friends in and out of the hotel to party, wouldn't recommend. Otherwise, it was great and would definitely go back!

I stayed here recently for a work trip. The hotel was very clean, I found the bed comfortable and overall was very happy with the room. I stayed on the 21st floor and it was a spectacular view of the city at night. The location is very convenient, walking distance from Union Station, many great restaurants and the eaton centre. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. I would recommend.

Excellent location and we were lucky to get it at a good price online.Otherwise it is quite expensive. We had a beautiful large room, a separate living room space and an enormous bathroom. 15 min walking distance to Union station and few minutes walk to various bars and restaurants! Good free coffee and two types of muffins ( carrot and Blueberry) served daily from 7 to 9am. Desk/ concierge service was very helpful and gave me an appropriate adapter when I needed one urgently. Had a mini fridge freezer in the room and the bed was lovely! Two large TVs; one each in the bedroom and living rooms and super comfortable sofas and armchair and a huge desk and work chairs to work from ..would definitely recommend!

Excellent experience. Very convenient to St Michaels hospital and Eaton Centre. Very accommodating to my needs including a late check out. When I left belongings in the room, they were mailed to me digging 3 days! Thank you for a great stay.

Great location, wonderful hotel, love the suite, large and roomy, with a full size desk and ergo chair, a pull out couch, a wet bar with fridge, full size bathroom with tub and shower. Most importantly the bed was super comfy and I slept very well. Only problem was we ended up paying $70 for parking next door at Impark when we could have paid hotel $20. They neglected to tell us not to pay in parking garage. Not happy with this!

We were staying here because we had a gravely ill relative in hospital nearby. We were here for 4 nights and the staff were very supportive and sympathetic towards us. They even gave us a room discount on our last night due to the reasons we were staying here. I cannot say enough about how well we were treated by the wonderful people there. We will definitely return to stay here in future for vacations and events. I have and will let everyone I know that if they are going to Toronto and want a great hotel to stay at to stay at Cambridge Suites. You won't regret it....💑

We loved our stay here in Cambridge Suites! Great location being just about a mile from China Town, quite a lot of things to look at within walking distance, which was what we wanted. Service was good, with underground parking. Our room was quite spacious an island so the bathroom was connected to both the bedroom and the living room, very cool design. Came with two TV’s; one in the bedroom and the other in the living room so that was nice!

A nice hotel with character, a great location to explore downtown Toronto, and for a decent price. The room was clean with a nice layout. The hotel staff were very pleasant. It felt safe to stay there. 10/10, Would happily Cambridge Suites again.

Great Hotel in the thick of it all. Was easy to get to and parking was a breeze. The hotel is almost right across from the CF Eaton Centre. The area was nice and so were the rooms. Was a great price for such a big room. It was unfortunate the restaurant was not open for breakfast but they did offer free muffins and coffee in morning. Room was clean and quiet. Never felt unsafe in area or hotel.

This hotel was way better than most for the money. The room (really two rooms) were huge. The bathroom was also quite large and had updated fixtures. The best part of the hotel was the location. We didn’t drive, take public transportation, or Uber anywhere. This was fantastic. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

Good hotel in a good location. There were a couple of issues we had to overcome, which we think would have been helpful if you were just told at check-in. Wifi access they provided details for did not work, it wasn’t until we queried at reception that we found out you could use any of the other ones available too, so once we found strong connection, this was fine, but for people who rely on wifi whilst abroad, it’s really important. The shower pressure was really low, and it took three showers until we worked out how to adjust the knob to increase it. Some guidance would be useful, as we’ve not come across that type of shower many times before. Finally, the bed sheets are strange. Two sheets cover the duvet, but aren’t attached together, so you basically wake up most of the time with just the duvet, and the sheets not covering it, not the most hygienic probably. Overall though, really big rooms and having a small kitchen was a good addition to be able to buy in our own breakfast foods. Hotel isn’t cheap, but in comparison to many in the city is on the more affordable end of the scale. Would probably book again if we ever revisited, as it ticked nearly all boxes.

Strange room layout (2 double beds in 1 room), a microwave oven but no plates or cutlery. The reception staff when we arrived were very unfriendly whereas the staff when we left could not have been more friendly and helpful. The building looks like it is due to be redeveloped into retail with apartments above so it does feel like it is being run-down.

  • 5/5 Ann G. 7 months ago on Google
The room was spacious. The suite makes it so much more comfortable for a stay of several nights. The bed was super comfortable, and, unlike most hotels nowadays, they provide daily housekeeping. The staff was uniformly friendly and accommodating. The location is ideal. It enabled us to walk most places we wanted to go.

Stayed here for a night for a work trip. The hotel is being renovated and I was lucky enough to get a renovated room. It was spacious and nicely renovated. Doesn’t yet have some of the technology such as USB in lamps for charging, but that’s minor. Location is great. Service was great. There is currently no food service at the hotel.

Great location in Toronto! Large and clean rooms. Good value for money. Personally I didn't like the bedding because they used just two sheets to cover the duvet, not a proper duvet cover. Otherwise very comfortable bed. When arriving we asked for help to book a table for dinner (European phones, didn't want to place an international call) but the staff would not assist us with that. Instead, they suggested that we call from the room when we got access to it a few hours later (we arrived early and just dropped off the bags in the morning). The reception was not busy at the time. We never managed to have the free coffee and muffin as it is only served until 9. Could be extended an hour or two.

Great hotel in a fantastic location, walking distance to a bunch of restaurants and bars. Suites are clean and big. Staff is friendly and helpful. They’ll give tourists a well-researched and detailed list of places to eat. Laundry is on site and the parking garage is steps away. Housekeeping will make the bed and provide fresh towels everyday, without requesting! I personally really appreciate how serious they are to providing a quiet and calm environment for travelers. If you want to throw wild parties, go elsewhere. We’ll definitely keep this hotel in mind if we revisit Toronto.

Enjoyed our stay, room was clean, beds where comfortable. Downtown area, near by restaurants. No bottled water in room but can go right across the street to retail pharmacy and find some water at reasonable price. Staff is very friendly. I will definitely stay again when visit Toronto.

Came to Toronto for a wedding, and this was our accommodation for 4 nights in the end of July. Overall a good place for what we needed as it is in city centre, and most places were within walking distance, or transit was easy to find. We had an amazing experience with the staff members: super smooth check in and check out, reception was very friendly and informative, and cleaning staff was super nice and helpful. The downside was just that the hotel is a little old, and the facilities weren't very efficient: Wifi was workable but slow, the AC was on but my body temperature was very unstable. Overall would recommend staying here!

The location is perfect downtown Toronto next to many restaurants and shopping centre. The room are more comfortable than one king or King Edward. The hotel is really quiet. Not a place for party. Ideal for business travel. Only disagreement is that there is no bottle of water in the room and no restaurant in the hotel. I'll go again.

It's a very nice but somewhat tired hotel. The front desk staff were superb and the rooms were clean, but a vast amount of street noise came in through the windows from surrounding businesses and the furniture showed marked wear and tear. It's just fine as a hotel, although it's closer to a Comfort Inn than a Four Seasons.

Amazing room. Loved the location. It’s very close to Yonge street and Eaton centre. Staff members are amazing!! Room was super clean and comfortable.

Suites are spacious and clean. The furniture is a bit dated but not damaged. They have a few industrial muffins in the lobby from 7 to 9 in the morning. It can be helpful if you're in a rush, but you'd be much better off going to Dineen just a block away for high quality coffee and pastries.

The reception people don’t have a sense of etiquette or manners when it comes to having guests around. We had guests with their belongings in our rooms but after 10 pm they wouldn’t let the guests come in to grab their belongings. This place has no sense of customer service would not recommend. If I could give a 0 star I would.

This is a well established hotel with rooms that are large suites. There is adequate space for sitting, sleeping, and dining in room. Dishes and utensils are provided. Unfortunately, for some reason, all food service was suspended during our stay. Staff were friendly and processed our check-in and exit expeditiously. There is parking on site which is self-service and somewhat expensive, in my opinion, for that privilege. As a place to stay comfortably for a number of days it is ideal and the establishment enforces a quiet atmosphere. The hotel is well situated in downtown Toronto although beware that during the period of our visit construction, and resulting traffic, was very heavy. Recommended

The hotel is very well located. Rooms are clean and spacious. The only negative point is the staff, who can be unfriendly (especially by email and over the phone...). Face to face was better but they are not very helpful before and after the stay and it seems we annoyed them if we had questions...

The staff was amazing, or room was very clean. We loved the suite idea. So comfortable and very close to shopping, restaurants, etc

  • 5/5 James G. 4 months ago on Google
Generally a pretty good stay. Rooms were spacious, hotel was kept clean, has enough amenities (hot tub, free coffee / muffins, fitness center) and a very good location. Some of the notes here are true around the datedness of room decor and the quiet policy but as someone who doesn't care that much about the former, and didn't need to host guests, these were not negatives and when considering that this was a little under 150/night was good value. Probably my go to choice for future Toronto stays

We had a great stay here. The room was nice and large, so we had lots of room to maneuver, spread out. Great locations, so near everything! Easy walk to convenience store, drug store, market etc, all within one block. Subway is two blocks away. Great spot!

I stayed here in November 2023 with my wife for 2 nights, Friday and Saturday. We found the room a little dated, but it was perfectly fine. The room was spacious and importantly to us, quiet. We didn't hear any other people in the hotel and outside noise was normal - we were on floor 16. Service was great and we would stay again! I gave the room a 4* rating as it's a little dated. We found the location awesome, being close to Yonge St and some venues.

Very disappointing stay!!! I paid over $600 for an executive suite and upon turning in for the evening we found what appeared to be blood stains on the pull-out beds bedding. And also found what appeared to be a used pair of women’s underwear in the hall closet! Needless to say, this left myself and my guests very unsettled! I informed the front desk of our displeasure and was told to contact the manager, Shirley Chua. I reached out to her and have received no response, aside from a brief survey. We had a great experience staying at this hotel in the past, but after this recent stay, I do not believe we will be giving Cambridge Suites Toronto our business moving forward.

Excellent room service and the front desk staff was friendly and helpful. The rooms were spacious and comfortable, although the air conditioner mysteriously stopped working on the second night. The weather was nice so it didn't bother us much.

  • 2/5 Nilay J. 2 years ago on Google
If this was my first two experiences at the hotel, then I would have given it a 5/5. This time around my stay here was okay at best. Staff that checked us in were nice but the "security" for late night entrance into the hotel needs to be changed. Romeo, the night security, needs to relax and stop making guests feel uncomfortable especially after people are enjoying their time in the city and are returning to the hotel. We also noticed that there were some bugs in our room which may have come in with the window being left open by the previous guests. Staff said they would come to clean it up but it didn't seem like they did. Lastly, we had asked for extra pillows and they said that they will bring it up to us which they did. We realized after that we needed an extra blanket as well and when we called back the concierge seemed upset that we were asking for it and demanded that we come down and get it. When I got to the elevator to come down, who other than Romeo to be there in the elevator with a blanket. After he gave us the blanket he sarcastically said "are you sure this is everything"?". As mentioned, I enjoyed staying at the Cambridge every time I was in Toronto. However, this experience will make me double check with other hotels before I decide to stay here again.

Wanted a suite with two bedrooms but that was just about impossible to locate. This option with a bedroom, and pull out couch bed worked out just fine. The table had only two chairs, so if a card game is on, then ask for extra chairs. Though they knew we were four adults, coffee cups and towels for two, quickly addressed with a call to the desk. Parking was simple affordable, handy, and in and out privileges.

very spacious room and convenient parking lots with affordable prices. Great location as well. All staff was so helpful, especially a person at the front desk whose name is Jin Park was super kind during my stay. I highly recommend if you stay with kids.

Really great room - actually a suite. Hotel itself was nice, clean. Outside of the room its basic in its amenities. Lobby is small and basic. Couple of couches. Was a small restaurant downstairs but was booked for a wedding reception so we didn't get to check it out. But loved the room.

Highly recommend! Absolutely wonderful. Great location, the suite was perfect. The bed was comfortable. The robes were a welcomed surprise. There we a couple of closets for coats and clothes, making the space feel very organized. Will definitely stay here again. My only suggestion would be that the microwave could use an update.

We recently stayed for 3 nights and were very pleased. While it was a bit pricey (which we expected for an end-of-summer, impromptu trip), the location made it worth it. Very accessible to Old Toronto, mall, Hockey Hall of Fame, and restaurants. Our room was spacious, clean, and quiet. They had great parking as well (underground) - it was easy to utilize. We wished their restaurant was open, as that would have been a nice option - but it was in great proximity to other local restaurants. When we come back to visit, we’ll definitely stay here again.

Make sure to use ʜᴏᴛᴇʟʙoʟʟʏ.ᴄᴏm when booking your resort. This web site will compare hundreds of booking websites and typically will have rates much cheaper compared to others! Thank me later! This hotel is one of my favorites in the area. I've been coming here for years. If you decide to stay here you for sure won't regret it. Excellent location! We spent a lot of time exploring Old Toronto on foot. I had a blast, and this place was a terrific small hangout. tidy and cozy. Cannot say enough good things about this hotel! Impeccable, fast, friendly service, clean GIANT rooms with tons of space. Centrally located. Easy parking. PERFECTION! We used to exclusively stay at the Royal York when we visit Toronto, but not anymore! This place is our new favorite.

I've stayed at this hotel a few times now and have had a nice experience each time. It's quiet, clean, and the location is fantastic. Rooms are large and have great amenities, although they do look a bit dated compared to similar hotels downtown.

  • 4/5 Cooper D. 1 year ago on Google
Service was great and location was great. Lots of things to do around in the area. The room was very clean and tidy, the bathroom/bedroom was nice. The TV seemed a little dated and the fold out bed wasn't that comfy. Also the room was a bit overpriced for what you get. But overall it was a positive experience.

I’m writing another great review. Me and 5 friends had plans to come July 22 for a friends birthday. Sadly her appendix burst and she’s in the hospital. I called and got told that I couldn’t cancel. So I reached out Soraya Roque from Human Resources and was able to get refunded on the two rooms. I’m so glad they were understanding. We will be rebooking again with them, it’s truly a great hotel! The staff is wonderful!

Lovely hotel and helpful staff. And a FREE bottle of red wine at Check-in! I almost gave only a 4/5 for the rooms themselves but the only negative would be they're outdated, with that old carpet smell. The suite was perfectly arranged with comfortable furniture. Staff were knowledgeable of the area and quick to provide more towels and bedding (we had our granddaughter with us). Great value for money.

  • 3/5 Nikki D. 1 year ago on Google
Thin walls and you can hear everything everyone else is doing. Bed sheets almost felt like vinyl. Otherwise room was nice and clean. Front desk staff are very helpful. Parking is convenient and not overly expensive. The location cannot be beat. So if you're willing to sacrifice a bit of comfort, you will be right downtown and pretty much within walking distance of everything.

Have stayed here twice and would stay there again. The staff are super friendly. I've had to call when making my reservations online and they were super helpful with any questions I had. It's in the perfect spot. Around a 15 minute walk to Union and around the corner from the hospital just in case. Also close by to the Eaton Centre.

This was our second time staying here and will not hesitate to book again. The location is amazing and the doorstep amenities are extremely convenient (breakfast place, coffee shops, PATH and subway access, drugstore, convenience store, restaurants). The room is very spacious and perfect for a family with a toddler. We had an issue with the drain and it was fixed within 20 minutes. Both times we have stayed it has been quiet during the day and at night. Only negative (and it's barely) is that the room is dated (decor and tech) and it could be a bit cleaner but for the price and all the mentioned positives, it has become our go-to.

Dated furnishings and the room smelled a bit musty to me (though wife, who has a better nose, wasn't bothered), but you can't beat the location. A short walk to lots of places to eat and amenities. Worth a stay.

Great place to stay in a perfect location downtown Toronto! The mall, public transit, cafes and dining are within minutes. Front desk staff were great to deal with, hotel and room was very clean and they had the most comfortable beds! I appreciated they lock the doors and have security in the building all hours of the night. Will definitely be staying here again!

Very polite and friendly staff. I stayed here 7 years ago and loved it. So for my family vacation, I decided to stay again. They had all my info ready to go even after all this time. Loved it.

  • 5/5 Breanne P. 8 months ago on Google
Loved our stay. The bed was super comfy. A bit pricey at $485 for their basic room. I'm assuming this is because it was a Saturday in July, but still. Would have been nice if the jacuzzi stayed open later than 11pm as we wanted to go in after a concert, but it was closed at that time. Underground parking was only $27 and an elevator right to the lobby. If you're staying here, I highly recommend Craft Beer Market down the street. Amazing food. We walked back from the Rogers Center (25 mins). There are a lot of restaurants nearby and across from a 24-hour convenience store. Staff were super nice. Would gladly stay here again.
