I am repulsed and quite upset with my stay last weekend. I didn’t notice until the following morning that there was mold on my pillow. I slept with that! When I went to complain at the front desk, I showed the picture and he said here’s a complimentary free breakfast. I asked why I couldn’t get the room discounted at least, since that’s a health issue. He said they can’t, since I booked through another party and the room was already charged. I did not have time to go sit for breakfast, as I had a train to catch. And seriously, a free breakfast for a moldy pillow. The manager also said the same as the man who “helped me out”. When I showed the manager the picture, I saw the disgust on her face but it quickly went away and she insisted I go pick up the free breakfast to go. Well, surprise, I go get the free breakfast only to be told by the restaurant that they don’t do that. I have never experienced anything like that and am completely disgusted by my experience, especially for $360/night.

I has an issue with my credit card pin so the front desk agent went to get the supervisor to see what could be done. She was angry the second she came out. She walked up to us and was uncomfortably close to me and my boyfriend and she was extremely rude. My boyfriend had to ask her to back up and I had to tell her she was scaring me which she very well was. It was unbelievable a supervisor would act that way and a Hilton hotel would actually employ someone like that. As my boyfriend is a person dealing with PTSD and is a veteran of the Canadian Armed Forces it wasn't okay to treat us the way she did. It's not okay to treat ANYONE the way she did. We are currently considering contacting the police as it would be very close to, if not fully, verbal abuse. Also after I told her she scared me she went behind the desk and just mocked me for saying she was scaring me and that we were extremely uncomfortable. We just got a taxi and left. It was a nightmare and I've never been treated that badly ever by someone employed at a hotel. We'll never be staying at a Hilton again because that is an experience that left us half traumatized and one we never want to re-live.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at the DoubleTree by Hilton Toronto Airport, and it was an exceptional experience. From the moment I arrived, I was greeted by the warm and friendly staff who made me feel welcomed. The location of the hotel is perfect for travelers, being close to the airport and providing convenient access to major highways. The check-in process was smooth and efficient, and the staff was knowledgeable and accommodating. The room I stayed in was spacious, clean, and thoughtfully designed. The comfortable bed and plush pillows ensured a restful sleep, and the blackout curtains were a nice touch to block out any external light. The room amenities, including the flat-screen TV, mini-fridge, and coffee maker, added convenience and made my stay even more enjoyable. The hotel facilities were excellent. The fitness center was well-equipped with a variety of modern exercise equipment, allowing me to maintain my fitness routine during my stay. The on-site restaurant served delicious meals with a diverse menu, and the breakfast buffet offered a wide selection of options to start the day on a high note. What truly stood out during my stay was the exceptional service provided by the hotel staff. They were attentive, friendly, and always ready to assist with any requests or questions I had. Whether it was arranging transportation or providing recommendations for local attractions, their dedication to ensuring a pleasant stay was evident. I also appreciated the hotel's commitment to cleanliness and safety. The common areas and my room were spotless, and hygiene protocols were clearly followed throughout the property, making me feel comfortable and secure. Overall, my experience at the DoubleTree by Hilton Toronto Airport was fantastic. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Toronto, whether for business or leisure. The combination of comfortable accommodations, excellent facilities, and outstanding service make it a top choice. I would definitely choose to stay here again on future trips.

This hotel was amazing! Very clean and beautifully decorated. There is a Starbucks in the lobby. The breakfast needs work, it didn't taste very good and there were fruit flies on the fruit. The rooms were nice. We were on the 16th floor on the airport side. My kids loved watching the planes take off. Parking is pricey, it's $25 dollars a day and is added into your room charge once you check in. Definitely will stay there again.

One night stay only so we did not use all services. We were greeted with a warm cookie and a smile! The parking is $28 per day. Elevators are in good shape. There is a starbucks in the lobby and a steak house on the other side. The room was pretty clean and spacious. Amenities as needed and toilettries in the bathroom. Coffee and tea with the coffee maker. Water only free for Hilton members. A small fridge and a safety box. There is a breakfast buffet for 22.99 but we cheked it out and did not find it to our like since we do not eat that much. A la carte too available but less options so we drove to a near place and had an amazing breakfast. Unfortunately no pics this time but highly recommended!

Stayed here for the 3 day mandatory quarantine and everything was excellent. Although we checked in a little bit before time, we had a very smooth check-in and were even given breakfast for that day. The room itself was a bit small but was quiet clean and comfortable. The beds were very comfy to sleep on. The food was delivered on time and the quantity was also good. Had some trouble one day getting some additional item for my wife but they arranged it eventually. They also had my food preference and guests can use microwave to heat their food. The staff is quick and efficient and overall really enjoyed a pleasant and calm stay at the hotel.

My airport view room ( 1602 )had a fabulous view of the airport The room was what you would expect of this class of hotel, Room was clean, king bed, nice washroom with walk-in shower. Staff were friendly, the hotel has an indoor pool and fitness centre. Great location near the airport, they have a shuttle for a fee.

Staff are friendly, the rooms are clean if a little dated, nice exercise area and pool. They get 3 stars because of 2 things that they didn’t deliver on… 1. A MICROWAVE!. I’d rather have that than an ice bucket. Heating some noodles, reheating cooling coffee, whatever, I want a microwave in my suite and they didn’t have one. 2. Shower: I love a nice hot powerful shower in my hotel. Here the water comes out in a weak stream with barely any water pressure.

Having spent a month here on training, I can say this place felt like a second home. My room was cleaned and serviced out of the normal time frame; after 3pm, in regards to the hours of training. This was much appreciated. The manager, Rythem, was also a great addition to my stay. She took the time to cultivate the guest experience; asking how I was and what could be done. Thanks for the great stay!

Giving it one less star because the receptionist gave us unclear directions as to where we would expect the shuttle to arrive. Receptionist told us it would arrive at the back door but the shuttle arrived right at the entrance. The pillows were also a bit too soft, like they seemed overused. Otherwise, it was a nice hotel with a great lobby ambiance and the bathroom was fancy too.

Needs curtains in the room to block out the light. The light Kept me up all night . Everything else was great and the restaurant was a nice surprise - affordable and good quality. The 1970’s instrumental lounge music in the restaurant was just weird.

The front desk staff were so helpful, and our room was clean, comfortable, and quiet (even being right across the hall from the elevator!)…the kids enjoyed the pool and proximity to public transport to get downtown. We arrived before check in time, hoping to stow our luggage, and instead were treated to early access to our room with hands full of fresh Double Tree cookies.

Hotel lobby area is really nice and spacious. If you love Starbuck's they're right in the lobby. Front desk staff is either really nice or snotty no in-between. Rooms are nice and has mini-fridge no microwaves but 1 downstairs by front desk. Breakfast was not worth it if someone has to pay for the buffet. I don't eat eggs outside but they had scrambled eggs, pork link (soggy), bacon (not tasty at all and falls apart (crumbles), a fruit stand with yogurt. Only toast, no English muffins or bagels. They did have chocolate and banana nut muffins. Boxed cereals. (variety).

Shuttle was on time and service was excellent. Late checkout, luggage storage, clean pool, and friendly staff! I missed my cookie this trip but always love the little bonus. Thanks for the great stay!

We were moved from our original hotel to the Doubletree. The lobby is nice with lots of seating. There is a Starbuck's and a restaurant/bar connected to the hotel. Our room was good except there was a stale smoke smell. Not sure if it is the cleaning supplies or something else but it wasn't pleasant. The cookies they give you when you check in are warm and very delicious. Bonus is that there is a free shuttle too and from the airport.

We had 4 rooms booked. We arrived before check in and we're headed to the ball game. We asked if they would keep our luggage. They had a room at the front desk we could use. It was open to the public. They said take your laptops with you. We weren't going to take them to the ball game. The staff said it wasn't safe to leave them there. Not helpful. One of the rooms had a rat in it. That was unnerving and disgusting. There was bags of garbage left in the halls all the time. No housekeeping. For the noon buffet they asked if there was any food allergies and everyday there was food on the table with specific allergens. The staff in the restaurant were very good and friendly.

Excellent location and close to the airport. Shuttle runs at :25 and :55 past the hour. Hope you don’t miss it. It’ll go to several location going and coming, be prepared for a possible long trip. Cool views of the airport and landing airplanes but still quiet. Clean rooms, however the “fridge” was more of a cooler. I measured with a wireless thermometer and it didn’t get lower then 13°C/55°F which would be unacceptable to keep any sort of food cold, if needed.

Lotion product provided in the bathroom completely empty. Broken doorstop in the bathroom. TV quality poor. Did not stay long enough to complain. Arrived late, ate at the restaurant, watched a little TV before bed and showered in the morning. Pool closed earlier than most hotels, would have liked to had a chance to explore. Bed and pillows comfortable. The bathroom products that were not empty were great. Crabtree and Evelyn, loved the scent. Coffee machine was terrible. I messed it up the first try and forgot to add the coffee, so just poured hot water. Tried it again and it wouldn’t make a full cup again. Had to turn it off then back in over and over again. Still only got half a cup. Good thing there was a Starbucks in the lobby.

My travel partner and I left on Sunday morning for brunch and returned to our room door being open and unattended. It looked as housekeeping had left it that way since our room had been cleaned. We left assuming our room would not be entered into since neither of us had requested the service as well as our stay not being long enough for the service with the new cleaning covid protocol. But our room was entered and not sure how long it was open and unattended to since there was no hotel staff around. Went to the desk to advise of what had transpired and all they did was offer to give me extra points. With the amount of human trafficking and theft going around it gave my travel companion and I a very uneasy feeling about staying in this specific location again as well as any other DoubleTree/Hilton property. Safety is always a number one concern for myself because I do travel extremely frequently for personal and work purposes. I am very disappointed in the fact that the staff at this location did not seem to be as concerned for the safety of myself, my travel partner or our belongings. So I have canceled all of my future plans to stay at any Hilton location and have advised my family, friends, and coworkers to do the same.

It's a standard Double Tree. The hotel is very close to the airport, about 5 minutes away. The rooms are nice and the bed is comfortable. They have 2 waters in the room FOR $2.50 EACH! Internet is fast and I had a fridge, no microwave.

I generally don't stay at Hilton properties since I get Marriott privileges through my credit card. I have to admit I was pleasantly surprised by the service and atmosphere. This is a very nice hotel with extremely helpful staff and great amenities. I highly recommend.

Not super happy..booked room for 3 days and went to checkout before 11 am on the second day for my meetings where cut short. The front desk would not offer a refund on the third nite even though it was before the checkout time..will not stay here again..actually the whole group of us will not use this hotel..for rooms and or meetings. Sad way to end a relationship that included rooms and conference area..

Near the airport - so great location Lots of amenities. Public parking - sign outside says hotel Guest go to check in i instead of paying first but at check in they tell you you can pay the 16 at check out ( same rice needless To say) . Well most guest would just pay it there and then. Ad on expedia should advise your paying for parking. As well as room ! We are the 6 th floor curtains don’t actually close ( sheer curtains) so annoyed my partner while he slept)

I stay here often for work and I have to say this hotel is great! Close to the airport, updated, clean, and very welcoming! Special shout to the check in staff who are always so welcoming especially SHASHI! She is by far the best number 1 hotel check agent that has ever worked here. I don’t know what’s better, the doubletree cookie or seeing Shashi at the check in counter!

As soon as you walk in, the ambiance catches your eye. Wonderful staff, very helpful. The rooms were clean and inviting. Enjoyed the pool and hottub. Great location to the airport. There are 2 restaurants connected. The Keg and Turle Jack's. Ordered a 3 cheese spinach dip from Turtle Jack's. It came in a white round Styrofoam container. The contents were cold and hard. Never had spinach dip like that before!!! We are from Brooks, Alberta. We would highly recommend this place to stay at.

Some staff members are quick to dismiss you or ignore you when you are next in line, other then that service is alright. Pool seems dirty they don't change the water often and you can see all the dirty collected inside especially the hot tub when you step in it you see dirty move around just like you are walking on a beach. The pool looks clean but closer look you can see form of junk forming on the surface of the water and often time you come out itchy or skin irritation from it. Again if you look closely it is dirty and has dirt all over the ground. Towel rack often empty, washer machine and dryer work sometimes and other times it stops it's a known problem because when you go tell front desk they don't even question it and give you money back right away. Other than that hotel is decent in a great location even has a very expensive restaurant in it. I'm talking 15$ for fries or 20$ side ceasor salad. Not worth it go across the street at church chicken, lone star or even the restaurant in the Westin better quality for cheaper price

Very clean and comfortable as you would expect. The only minus was due to remodeling, several of the floors were missing ice machines. As usual, great staff during check-in and check-out. Airport shuttle provided every half hour. A good place to stay after a canceled flight.

Great Hilton property, love the location. Has a Starbucks in the lobby , a great sports bar attached and a great steakhouse next door. Modern rooms and decor.

Quality and comfort at a reasonable price. Great breakfast included and quick pickup or delivered to your room. The warm chocolate chip cookies with walnuts and bottled water always a nice touch.

  • 3/5 Rose E. 2 years ago on Google
It was overprice for a fire alarm who beep twice, I assume facilities were ready when I arrive but I have to call room service to have me the bath robes, no microwave in the room, it says city view but actually an airport view , I assume I can watch fireworks coz I paid for city view. The wifi was so slow, the toiletries was so little and only one person can use. The hotel looks andy and very clean . Called the front desk twice , nobody answered the phone and just didn’t bother calling back. Not really satisfied for what I paid, I assume it’s beautiful since it’s expensive for a NYE.

Nice sitting area in the lobby. The cookies are good when you check inn. However, the do not accept debit or cash for payments or even as a replacement deposit. One of the south asian shuttle bus drivers threaten me, and stated he will make sure no other shuttles for other hotels pick me up.(shuttle bus mafia). The washing machine and drying machine are old. They are also overpriced just to do a load of laundry.

First time staying at the double tree near airport road. Gotta say the rooms are super clean and just the right size, beds are ultra comfy. Great for a no-stress stay the night before your flight. We are headed to the Dominican for a family vacation after 3 years. Loved our stay 💕💕

Stayed the night during a long layover. Quick and convenient free shuttle to and from the airport. Check-in was friendly and quick. Lobby and room were modern and clean. There is a bar/restaurant attached. Had a couple of beers and wings at the bar. Very tasty. The bartender was delightful.

Overall had a good stay. It’s convenient to have Turtle Jacks and Starbucks in the Lobby. Park n’ Fly is also steps away for quality and affordable parking (don’t park at hotel since it’s 25/day). Rooms were clean and staff were friendly, although they charge for water bottles in the room unless you’re a member (bit ridiculous to pay 2.50 for a bottle of water).

  • 5/5 Olivia R. 1 year ago on Google
I’m not sure what else you could expect at this price point. The beds are huge and super comfy. The rooms are quiet, the water pressure amazing and there is a restaurant and a Starbucks for food. This place was a godsend after arriving at night, delayed, from a long haul flight.

  • 5/5 Linsey R. 1 year ago on Google
Every stay has been great! I have stayed here a couple times now before business trips and would recommend. It’s quiet and has so many amenities and restaurants close by. Plus Starbucks in the lobby is always a win for early morning flights!

  • 3/5 Candi83268 2 years ago on Google
The bed was comfortable, but pillows laid flat shortly after. We got a handicap room, so I am not sure if the shower area is the same. Why did we even get a handicap room? We paid for parking and my card stopped working. I went to get reactivated and I didn't have my ID so I was told I couldn't get it anything. There was no concern of how I was going to get back n my room. Luckily, someone came to let me in after. Bright side we got warm cookies. But we won't be coming back

I stayed at this hotel before I left on vacation. I left my car at the hotel for 9 days. It was a really nice room and comfy king size bed! The pool was really nice as well. Love the kitchen in the room. Upon returning after my vacation, my car wouldn’t start. It was 3:30am. I went inside and asked if anyone was able to help. The night manager came out with a booster pack and tried to help start my car. It wouldn’t start. So he told me I was welcome to come sit in the lobby and call for help. As I was calling for help, the shuttle bus driver overheard me calling tow companies and he offered to help boost it as well. I thought it wouldn’t hurt to see if he could get it to go. 5 minutes later I was on my way. SHOUT OUT to the shuttle bus driver and the night manager for helping a woman at 4am. I was travelling alone and it was already a really tough day of travel. I feel like the front desk staff could be a bit more welcoming and polite. When I checked in and when I went in to ask for help both times the woman behind the counter wasn’t very friendly. The bathroom also could have been a tiny bit cleaner as there was hair all over the floor. Otherwise this was a great hotel and I will absolutely book here again when travelling! THANKS AGAIN SO MUCH FOR HELPING ME WITH MY CAR ❤️❤️

The staff here are extremely welcoming. I come to this location a lot for work and it’s generally the same. The hospitality here is unmatched and I’ve never had any complaints. The rooms are clean, staff is friendly, not too far of a ride to downtown, and there are decent options to choose from for dinning. The restaurant attached is also very good.

  • 4/5 Andrea B. 1 year ago on Google
Every staff member we encountered was pleasant and helpful. I still love their cookies. We arrived early and they kept our bags locked away until we returned for check in. The location wasn't too far from the airport. And, they have a free shuttle to and from the airport. It was pretty quiet and they have a Starbucks in the lobby. Couldn't figure out what the hours were though. The room was nice. The view was of a large parking lot and the airport (cool).

  • 4/5 Danny Y. 1 year ago on Google
Stayed here for 1 night since our flight arrived very late and we didn't want to travel into the city after the flight. After exiting the airport, the hotel shuttle took about 20 minutes to arrive, but after it did, the ride to the hotel was short. Check in was a breeze and we were given the infamous cookie, and it was indeed very good. Food options are very limited at this hotel, the only places open later at night are the subway and Church's across the street. The room was nice and clean for the most part, though upon closer inspection there are areas that could be improved. For example, in the washroom above the sink, you can see what seems like mud splash and yellow stains near the air vents, though I would assume that isn't somewhere most people will notice. The bed was comfortable and we had a good night sleep. Overall, for the price we paid ($150), the value was great and we would happily stay at this location again.

  • 5/5 Stephen C. 1 year ago on Google
Clean and well designed room near the airport and convenient to several restaurants. Only wished they offered coffee in the lobby especially for visitors with early flights before Starbucks or breakfast opens. Other than that the bed was comfortable, the tv was nice and the shower and pillows were great!

Wow. This is the best hotel experience I've ever had. We were tired, stranded and had to extend our stay. From moment one, the front desk was amazing. Every single person we dealt with was great. The shuttle service was on time every time, helpful and friendly. The housekeeping excelled and the pool was the the icing on the cake. We're on our way back through in 2 weeks and I can't wait. I highly recommend this place. And I'm picky!

If I could give a 0 star review I would! Absolute worst customer service I've ever dealt with. Coming from a customer service back ground by the end of my two night stay I couldn't even have a conversation with the workers at the front desk. Multiple phone calls leading up to our stay ended in frustration and disappointment not getting the answers to my questions. They charged three rooms to our credit card when in fact we only stayed for two. Would never stay here again, which is a shame because the hotel itself and restaurant are very nice. This review is strictly based off the customer service from every worker I came in contact with. -Disappointed customer

The hotel itself was ok. Our issue is with the parking. We paid to park in the garage while we were on our two week vacation. When we returned our vehicle was gone. We were given a breakfast voucher and we’re offered a refund for our room. We have yet to receive the refund as the hotel does not communicate with a third party booking. When asked they couldn’t even tell me when the car that is now is in my spot got there. Was told this licence plate is not in there computer. All sounds fishy to me. And there were no parking tickets on it ?

Nice and quiet. Comfortable beds and nice and clean washrooms. My room didn't have a microwave like most but I requested it as I was there for a few days and got it right away. No kitchenette if you are wondering. Small fridge but good enough for a hotel room. Has a pretty basic gym, nice hot tub and a pool. Staff is pretty friendly and helpful. The restaurant isn't the best as the service and quality of food were both mediocre. Service might also depend on the server you get. Lonestar across the street was way better.

Not sure why anything less that 4.5 start total review for this place. Best double tree I’ve ever been to. Large modern rooms, great shower and bathroom. Easy shuttle to and from YYZ. 3.9 stars (as of 6/13/23) is not accurate at all. Only minus is there’s not much food around but for the location you can’t be too picky

Booked the hotel with my points from Expedia. Called before to ensure I could park here while we are gone away. Was told a price and that shuttle was available. Confirmed parking was available. Arrive at hotel, staff is not friendly or helpful. I was told the phone number on google for THIS HOTEL is wrong. It’s a 1800 number where they give inaccurate information every time. What a joke, no offer to help. Flight leaves early in the morning and now I’m scrambling with young kids in tow. Not even an attempt at customer service in this situation.

The lack of compassion and understanding from this company is gross and disrespectful. I booked a room with DoubleTree Jan 24th/24 to stay the night as our flight into Toronto was delayed and going to get in late in the evening. So I booked the room and within the hour the airlines canceled the flight to the following day, called the hotel to cancel the paid reservation and they just said too bad so sad it’s “non-refundable”. With no understanding of the situation I requested to just move the stay to the following night, but they refused to help or work with us. Leaving us now $225 out of pocket for something out of our control, a credit or comp night is all was needed to resolve the situation, but the Hotel Manager didn’t want to help.

Booked this hotel to catch a morning flight. The room we arrived too didn’t seem very clean. We took a shower and realized the lotion bottle was empty. We politely called to ask for more lotion and was told no, room service will do it in the morning and the attendant hung up. We left before the bottle was ever refilled. The location is convenient to get to the airport and the shuttle was smooth. But I would not be staying here again.
