I'm not sure how others have reviewed this hotel positively, I'm glad they had better experiences. I chose this hotel based on the positive reviews in fact. Staff was absolutely rude, charges didn't make sense and were labeled in USD rather than CAD in the hotel. We signed agreements for a $500 cleaning fee if we were to smoke in the room which is fair. When we got to our room after dealing with the grouch at the front counter our room wreaked of smoke. We had to check with the front staff to be sure we weren't going to be charged their cleaning fee for a room that had obviously been smoked in and not cleaned well after. Floors are stained and dusty, the hotel just feels dingy. We were also told by the front staff that there was no room on the included airport shuttle and we'd need to call a taxi at our cost. But the shuttle driver himself came in to get us saying there was more than enough room, the taxi had already arrived however. Overall, just an unpleasant and frustrating experience.

This place should be a one star. Here are what happened with our experience. The heater didn't work and they had to come and fix it. There was two queen bed in the room (which is good for 4 people) but not enough stuff for one person. The bathroom had only enough stuff for one person and every soap, shampoo, and lotion was dry 😒. One of the white towels had lipstick on it. The hot tub and everything would close at 8. We could make coffee because their coffee maker didn't have the pot in it. The water was so hard that a full bottle of lotion didn't help. The price is good but not a 2 star hotel. It is perfect if you want a one cheap night as long as you don't expect anything and expect a place to sleep for a couple of hours.

Do not stay here!!! We were looking forward to a decent nights sleep before heading home after 2 days of travel from Brazil. Toronto was the last layover of the trip. First started off with the shuttle just driving right by us leaving us in the cold to wait another 40 minutes before pickup. When we finally arrived at the hotel we were advised the reservation could not be found. Finally we got an explanation that the credit card was declined and they had no more rooms. The credit card was fine, used it to buy food after all this fiasco with zero problems. It was used all day long as well with zero problems. Staff are incompetent and an investigation will be done. They should just close their doors they don’t treat people with respect and are very rude.

Decent airport hotel, room was nice but not super clean (food wrappers from a previous guest in the corner). Front desk staff were nice to us but rude with the person up ahead who misinterpreted a deal or something. A decent drive from the airport but there's a shuttle. Price was fair. Breakfast was pretty decent but not included but they let us take it to go.

My friend and I stayed here for a couple of nights and we loved it. The front desk staff are super friendly and they were very accommodating! When the hotel didn’t have a room ready with 2 queen beds like we had originally booked, they covered our breakfast the morning after checking in for taking a couple of double size beds instead. Speaking of which, breakfast was absolutely delicious so kudos to the staff who prepared the buffet in the morning. Our room itself was very clean and well put together, had a nice view looking out over the highway coming into Mississauga. Even watched a few planes come in for landing at Pearson Airport. I would definitely recommend checking out this hotel for anyone looking for somewhere to stay, business or pleasure!

Rooms and hotel are very outdated. Musty smell throughout hotel. Extravagant price for poor service at checkin by one employee who was abrupt and didn't seem like she wanted to be there. Furniture in rooms is chipped and wallpaper in bathroom was not appealing with its installation. Windows to look out at airport were dirty. Main housekeeper scolded me for leaving our door ajar for my grandson to come in and out freely. Didn't have any clue about regulations not allowing it. Not a cozy place at all. Would not recommend.

When it comes to Hotels that service the people, with comfort, as well as customer care, this is the place to go. We were greeted with very friendly staff, checked into our room with complete ease, and welcomed as if we were part of the family. When the cleaning staff were doing their work, they chatted with us, were very friendly, and seemed very happy with their jobs. It's quite easy to see that this hotel is being managed properly, and they ha e set the bar high with regards to how to treat their customer's/family. I highly recommend this place with a five star rating.

My wife loved the newly renovated room.... especially the walk in shower. The restaurant provides take out with a good selection of local beers. Don the bartender was very friendly and his beer suggestion was very good. I recommend staying at this Best Western. Check in was quick and front desk personnel were friendly and professional.👍👍

Five stars all around! We arrived late last night just as their restaurant was closing. But Don, the manager welcomed us in along with another couple shortly after us. He was very accommodating, acting as server and bartender. Our room was clean and bed/pillows very comfortable. Morning staff was very pleasant and served a complete and tasty breakfast. A+ for this hotel.

We stayed there for 7 days and the overall experience was horrible for the price we paid. To start with they did not do the room service once of our 7 day stay, even after requesting 4 times. On my final request, the front desk asked me to gather the trash in our room and put it outside for them to collect (which stayed there more than 24 hours before it got picked up). I could only laugh that I paid $120/per night to clean my hotel room. 2) One of the two lifts smell funny, like someone puked in there. I complained about that to the front desk every single day, and yet no one took care of it. They simply said that it’s because if maintenance work. 3) $16 for a breakfast buffet is another joke here. They gave us uncooked eggs and bacon strips with awful taste/smell. I stayed at other best western hotels before and this is by far the worst.

The bed was very comfortable. Wish i could sleep in some more. The shower head is one of the best i've seen in hotels. The coffee maker in our room wasn't functional. The sliding wardrobe in our room was a bit faulty when we arrived. But the maintanance guy was sent to fix it even though it still seemed fragile. The airport shuttle was a good addition. Enjoyed the variety of Hot coffee at the reception area. The hotel looks way better than some Best western hotels. The furniture at reception is modern and bright. We had a microwave in our room. The room had enough space to move around. The shampoo bottle was too tiny though

A perfect stay. We first met Deborah, Customer Service Agent, upon check-in, who was friendly and personable. When she determined that there had been a miscommunication with our booking, she immediately involved the Front Office Manager, Karen Case, who not only provided us with a better rate, but upgraded us to a room with a sauna and whirlpool as a surprise. She treated us with respect and kindness. The room was immaculately clean, and was quiet, with great amenities. Later, we ate at the hotel restaurant where Don, our server, was extremely attentive and provided us with personalized service. The food was wonderful and reasonably priced. At check-out, Syed and Meet were nice as well. The option of the shuttle to the airport for a parking fee is a wonderful feature, making the airport experience much less harried. Overall, the entire experience was fantastic, and we highly recommend this hotel.

The staff who checked us in was friendly and great to deal with. The room was clean except the couch and chair in the living room could use a goof clean as it had stains. Bed was comfortable but didn't like the pillows, it wasn't firm enough to my liking. The floor I was on was quiet leading to a restful quiet night. They could use more equipment, dumbbells, in the fitness room. Overall it was a good stay and I would definitely return again.

Had our wedding reception here at 1 of the banquet halls and the transition of the hall was to die for. My husband and I stayed for our honeymoon and the room was luxurious 😊. The staff was incredibly patient and welcoming, which leads me to breakfast. It was decent, healthy and DELICIOUS! Overall, our stay was breathtaking. The sales manager, Mark Koop, did an incredible job. I highly recommend making Best Western Plus your choice!!!

I booked my room from NFLD 4 days before I was to arrive on May 9 with a confirmation number. I called the next day to get the information on the shuttle as our plane would be landing around 1:30am on the 10th. I called again on the evening of the 9th to verify the shuttle times and to let them know we would be arriving late. When we finally landed I called the hotel to see when the shuttle would be available to pick us up at which time they said my credit card was declined and rudely stated that there are no rooms available. I spent the next 30-45 minutes trying to find other accommodations which we eventually did. I did call my credit card company shortly after our trip to see what had happened and they assured me that no such pre-authorization for the motel was ever tried nor would one have been declined as there was plenty of credit available. I have been in contact with BW customer service department in the US and they have been in contact with this hotel to no avail . and this hotel insists that my card was declined and therefore the room was given to someone else. Here are my thoughts: the hotel overbooked and since I was the likely latest one to check in they bumped me out of the room for someone else. I know this happens more often they anyone knows, but let me tell you as one on the receiving end of this issue it is horrible especially when you fly in late and then discover you have no where to stay. I would never recommend this motel, we stay with BW frequently throughout the year and this is the worst I have ever experienced and the fact that no one from the hotel would take this from BW customer service department and call me and make some sort of restitution, that their silence just proves my theory.

My husband and I and Grand daughter stayed the night before we left for our 2 week vacation to Mexico. We left our car as we booked a room for the evening of our return. Unfortunately, due to weather in Toronto, our flight home was delayed, then cancelled until the next day. Also, again, delayed for several hours. Because I couldn't get wifi to contact the hotel to reschedule, we were sent out in a snow storm to fend for ourselves. All hwy were closing or already closed. We asked if we could let our grand daughter sleep on on of the small chairs in the lobby and were refused. Security was called to have us leave. It took us more than 2 hours to dig out our car.

Very adequate. It's quiet, except for the fan in the room which is loud (if you like sleeping to white noise this could be a good feature). The second night we were there, the guest in the room across from us got confused and went in and out of his room every ten minutes or so for about four hours, slamming his door every time. He finally stopped at about midnight, two hours after I turned out my light. Not good! It's an aging hotel, and could use a renovation. It has been patched up a good deal. The bathrooms are a bit newer and nice to use. The complimentary breakfast is absolutely the least I have ever seen. It's not worth the walk downstairs. Be warned, the hotel calls itself an airport location, but it's actually almost half an hour's drive away. It's really not near the airport at all.

Check in VERY long with Raj. Credit card machine broken. Broken elevator. Loud kids. Breakfast doesn't open until 7am... isn't that kind of late for a hotel near the airport??? Room seems nice. View of the 401.

We had a quick layover after an unexpected delay and the service went a long way in minimizing the stress involved. Thanks to Rohan and staff for their wonderful hospitality. The room was spacious with all the essential amenities, the bed was very comfortable, and the free airport shuttle was excellent.

Had a great stay at this hotel. Rooms were clean and well appointed with mini fridge and microwave. Shower was good and hot. We did the breakfast in the morning at the hotel restaurant. $12.50pp for the quality of food we good at hotel in Niagara for free so definitely skip that. Go across the road to master steaks and get a real cooked breakfast for $10.50.

Attempted to check in on the evening of June/27/23. A lady wearing glasses and the only one not wearing a name tag seemed to take joy in telling me my reservation was cancelled. The Manager on duty was behind the desk with her. They showed no curiosity as to why my reservation was cancelled nor any concern or any attempt to help or provide service. I sat in their lobby on my phone trying to find a room available that night. I eventually found a room at Holiday Inn and happily paid $100 more than my reservation at BW

Great experience! The star of my stay was the amazing breakfast buffet (so many selections to choose from) and personalized service I received at the in hotel restaurant the postcard. The staff is the best I have ever experience, especially one staff member named Linda. I felt so welcomed and accomdated. Special requests were meet with nothing but smiles. I would stay here again just for the restaurant!! 5 stars!! The front desk staff is the best I've ever experienced and I have nothing but great things to say about my experience.

I found this hotel to be very comfortable. When I drove up from the outside it looked a bit old and run down but the interior lobby and rooms were nice. Comfortable beds and pillows. Quiet. Convenient to airport. Nothing super fancy, but more than adequate.

This hotel was our saving grace after Lufthansa cancelled/delayed our flight at 130 a.m. This was their last room. Offered free shuttle service and allowed us a late check out, which we so appreciated since we didn't arrive at the hotel until 230 am. Room was nothing spectacular BUT it was clean, spacious and beds, super comfortable. Thank you Best Western for coming through.

Remote didn't work & couldn't get heat to work, called front desk and told them & was recommended to try something to get the heat to work, but didn't make a difference. Front desk was very busy and didn't follow up to see if heat was working. Overall clean room except bed skirts & staff was very friendly.

A front desk agent named Nino caused a very unnecessary stressful experience during our early morning check out before our flight. We had a group of 30 staying at the hotel before a trip. Nino denied us leaving one vehicle for the week despite the fact I confirmed parking availability on check in. Nino was rude & dismissive. We also had another one night stay booked on return. Despite all of this, we were still left to make last minute parking & airport transportation arrangements. My family, friends & I have stayed at this hotel several times. This stay was memorable for the wrong reasons. Honorable mention to the restaurant staff. They were fabulous & very accommodating for our large group. Deborah at the front desk was also lovely during our check in.

My mother and I stayed at this hotel for 2 days, the door for the room was chipped and the design was very old, it had stains on my bedsheet. The bathroom was not white so you could barely see any dirt, but it was there. The air conditioner was quite cold and the temperature adjuster didn't work my mother called the front desk and they did nothing. The staff was very polite. The room only had only lamps in it and no overall light on the ceiling. The ceiling was popcorn ceiling. The carpet was quite dirty and no longer the intended color. A pro was having a microwave and a fridge but I doubted the cleanliness

Great facility. Comfortable beds. Very clean rooms. Food at the restaurant is very good. Shuttle service to the airport and a well lit parking lot. Great place to stay if you have an early flight. Facility is fully accessible!

The front desk staff is very welcoming and helpful. I was a little flustered upon arrival as we had gotten turned around and took a wrong ramp and were redirected by our GPS. So having a wonderful, welcome was a big thing for me. The rooms were very clean and nicely appointed. The shuttle driver to the airport was kind and efficient. Would definitely reccomend to a friend!

My family and I stayed at Best western before flying out to Saskatchewan for a week. It was very convenient that we were able to park on property and use the shuttle. The rooms were nice and clean and very well maintained. As well as the pool and gym areas. The restaurant in the hotel had amazing staff and beyond amazing food! As well as amazing hotel staff. The shuttle going to the airport was small buss size and very spacious. However coming back after the trip the shuttle was a different vehicle that was a cargo van style. Very squishy and cramped with all the luggage. There were other travellers that were not able to get on due to the size. So I suggest that for the future they provide the bus shuttle for more busier times.

Run down, way overdue for a Reno! I had a 2 queen bed room. Be careful sitting on the edge of the bed as you may slip right off, (the popular side in between the 2 beds) …absolutely no support, bed worn out. The restaurant: I ordered the ‘big burger’ and fries. Disappointed with that too. I think it was 2 Costco burger patties. So greasy. I couldn’t eat it. Local beer on tap was excellent!

Great hotel but let me tell you about the restaurant The Postcard. EXCELLENT food and I can’t express how amazing the service was. After being seated our waitress notified us that she was alone because the rest of the staff was working at the wedding downstairs. LET ME TELL YOU how AMAZING Maria (I believe that was her name) was! She had more than 3 tables and she worked her butt off The service was fantastic. The service felt like she wasn’t alone. She came around to each table to make sure we were all okay and had everything ! Words can’t express how amazing this experience was. We thanked her and let her know how amazing our experience was. The smile on her face was enough to make it a great night. Please make sure she sees this ! She deserves all the praise for tonight’s meal! 19282829292929/10 would recommend!

We stayed one night for the Harry Styles concert. 5 stars for the staff. The receptionist was very helpful and kind. We really appreciated the free shuttle to get the train downtown. We weren't sure what time breakfast was served so we went a little bit past 10. The ladies working in the kitchen told us they were just wrapping up but they very kindly gave us takeout containers, served us coffee, and wiped down a table for us to sit. They were very nice and we appreciated it so much!!!

Very happy with the stay, park, fly arrangement. Two overnight stays were fine. The room was clean and comfortable, the check in staff were pleasant and the parking was safe. This is not a luxury resort hotel. It's a (relatively) low cost airport service and it does this adequately. We'll certainly use it again.

I actually liked thus hotel. It is well maintained considering its age has good amenities, spacious rooms and friendly helpful staff. Not the best location but it's not too far from restaurants and very close to the airport. Onsite Restaurant options are limited, but my food was good and the server was friendly. Portion sizes are generous and prices are reasonable. IMO a place worth staying if you want a room close to the airport or require an airport shuttle.

  • 4/5 norman t. 1 year ago on Google
Its was busy. The hotel offers up a great price to park your car and shuttle you to the airport which seemed like allot of people take advantage of this. It also looks like people stay over the night before the head to the airport. The only opportunity area was when I got to my room the AC wasn't working and my wife had to call the front desk 3x times before some came to assist us (took almost 2hours before we got help). It probably took 2hours + to get help since they were so busy at 10pm. I would have rated just 3 Stars, but I want the understanding of the situation. The staff has friendly and helpful too. The rooms were also clean too.

  • 2/5 Amber R. 9 months ago on Google
Unfortunately I have to give a low rating here because the shuttle back from the airport totally ruined my opinion on this hotel. We followed their instructions to call for the shuttle after picking up our baggage and it took 45min to arrive. Other hotel shuttles the same or longer distances away from the airport came by twice before ours even came at all. When it did come the driver didn't seem to be much in a hurry and didn't help with the luggage despite my mother struggling with her bag. On arrival to the hotel (which it was now nearing 4:00am) I had to go through more check in procedures and filling out paperwork at the front desk. This could have been left to check out in the morning. The hotel already had my information from my check-in for reverse park-and-fly before my trip began. All in all it made for a very short night of sleep when we were already exhausted. The front desk didn't seem to care about this at all... Just frustrating when the shuttle is advertised as 24/7 but it seems like it may only come once an hour.

Arrived at 10:30 and it was fine! Amazing showers 🥳 beds were comfy and clean. They had extra blankets in the closet which I love bc I like heavy covers. Overall a great space. The parking lot could be better labeled, as you should go to the left and behind the subway to park. There is a strip club next door, but you can't tell from the inside of the hotel. It's very quiet. You can't hear the cars on the road at all.

  • 3/5 Pam P. 1 year ago on Google
I chose this hotel specifically because it advertised 24/7 airport shuttle. I called for a pick up from the airport at 1am and waited 45 min. Two nights later I went down to the lobby @4:30 am to catch the “free” shuttle to the airport. I stood there with at least 10 other guests and one of the guests asked me if I had a reservation. Thank goodness! I had no idea I would need a reservation. No signs anywhere. No mention of it when arriving by shuttle. I’ve never had to make a reservation before at a hotel that advertised “ free shuttle 24/7”. Ended up calling a cab $$$ won’t stay there again.

Staff were polite and efficient. Shuttle was able to transport us efficiently but there were no guarantees about a spot on the bus. Sorry to say, room was dreadful. Tired, stuffy and sad. Sheets really did not look freshly made up. Found hairs in the bed linen. I really question the housekeeping and /or lack of. Really grubby. Needs a big refreshment. Would never return.

Front desk manager Miles was my best memory. She’s an Angel, so kind, friendly, helpful and really made me feel welcomed. I called this hotel after missing my Via Rail train back home to Windsor due to a four hour return delay to Toronto with Air Canada. She answered the phone and speaking with her she put all of my worries and anxiety to rest. Was very empathetic towards my situation and made my arrangements for an over night stay easy and memorable directing me to a location to pick up a shuttle bus to arrive safely. I will never forget her beautiful smile on arrival. I’m thankful to this hotel for having such a kind soul working for the company. Thank you Miles Mina from the bottom of my heart. Super close to the airport. The room was clean and quiet and what I needed for rest before traveling the next morning. They offer airport shuttle service as well and accomodate the time you would like to leave. There was a restaurant in the hotel and a Subway sandwich shop next door. Overall, I had everything I needed in one spot. Thank you for accommodating me.

I thought the hotel was decently priced and I loved that they were close to the airport so me and my family enjoyed that, another thing was that they had a shuttle so getting here from the airport was easy. Our renovated room was clean and organized, the TV worked fine, the WIFI worked and the walk in shower was amazing. We enjoyed breakfast at the restaurant located near the lobby, the place has a pool and small gym for guests to use. Would definitely come back again since we enjoyed Mississauga and Toronto while we stayed here everything was pretty close.

Not my pick for hotel near the airport. There were screw ups with identity and park and fly the minute we arrived. It was a busy month so I can understand and move on. The room itself was fine - not horribly outdated by any means but the walls were sooooo thin! We had to be up around 330am and I don't think we slept a wink! Every door opening and closing, TV in the rooms beside us, Quiet chatter....

This hotel say they cancelled my reservation due to my visa being declined. Visa has no record of any decline on my card for the day they claim or at any time for that matter. It was late at night and we were not able to get a room in another hotel. We spent the night at the airport. There shuttle bus was to pick us up at 10:45 p.m. and we were there at 9:36 and at 10:46 the bus drove right past the pick up point without stopping. Reception knew we were there and we were stand right in front of the pole S1 at the airport just like they told us. These people do not care about customers. When we called the not so friendly man lied to us three times and would not let us speak. This hotel does not deserve your business. Save yourself grief and disappointment.
