It is now a homeless shelter. I used to live in village green condos. And fire trucks would respond to this hotel weekly. I would go listen to scanner radios and hear the firefighters talking about VSA, intoxicated people.

Drove up from Jersey with 2 little ones and a total of 4 adults in the car. Rooms were relaxing, family has a great time with the indoor pool and slide. Walking distance to everything a tourists could ask for and want. Would definitely do it again. (Even the drive).

Itโ€™s so sad. My kids loved staying at this hotel because it was the only one that had a kids pool and a kiddy slide. They were always soo excited to go and stay there. Now nobody can book there because itโ€™s some type of shelter? I get that the homeless need a place to stay but why would you take the only one that catered to children when it came to amenities. Now you have totally turned away paying guests. Itโ€™s really sad.

This is no longer a hotel. Itโ€™s a shelter. Nothing wrong with shelters, it just needs to be labelled that way.

Not even worth it anymore. This hotel is a disgrace to the Delta brand. We stayed a couple times and really liked it. We always paid for the package rate. Now its garbage. They lets street bums stay there yet I as a loyal paying customer am Not allowed to book any rooms. Go Figure. These street people wouldnt even be homeless if they stop being lazy and make an effort to get a place of their own. They chose to be homeless.

I'm glad that there is a place for the homeless to stay, but, there's not mention of it being turned into a shelter on the website. If it wasn't for reviews no one would have known.

I know it is a covid shelter but my good lord it is ghetto. It's weird seeing a delta hotel look junky like this. Covid is over and yet it's looks like you've entered an emergency room. Warning signs and police tape all around the entrance. What a dump it's become.

I recently posted my comments on this Google map. But was deleted by Google. There is buyer. As everyone know this hotel catering the homeless, you can imagine how this place looks like!!! Drug , needles, hygiene issue. You can see this hotel is getting more visits from the police. Why you want to pay several hundreds dollars to stay in what we call a 4 or 5 stars hotel?? Did the hotel really care their elegant customers at all. ** There is a grocery cart with rubbish welcome you at front entrance of the hotel. The hotel can't even manage the tidy or cleaness outside the property, what to do you think about inside of the hotel?? Please use your judgment. Thank you.

This was an excellent hotel at one point. Super convenient location and excellent service. Although bit older, it was very family friendly, clean and all around great. Unfortunately they have turned this into Torontoโ€™s largest homeless shelter with 300 rooms to house the homeless. This hotel is now an absolute disaster. Consent police presence, public drug use, fights breaking out, a total mess. Honestly, before all of this. I would have highly recommended Delta Toronto East to anyone without hesitation. Now I would stay away from this place at all cost. You are better off elsewhere.

As shelters go this is one of the nicest, albeit temporary, in the area. All services and healthcare are currently available without leaving the building. I hope to stay until I can find affordable housing.

The staff here do not communicate and this results in constant problems. Things frequently go missing from the rooms (money, gift cards, prescription medications). Staff come into the rooms without notice and a few staff members are quite rude

Great atmosphere! The pool is an outstanding feature with water slides! Great for family fun. I went there just for some drinks at the bar they have, i must say it was a little disappointing. The service by the staff was satisfactory, but the beers we had were stale. Very loud environment since the bar is right by the main entrance, which didnโ€™t really bother us. Overall, because of the pool and the service i canโ€™t give less than 4 stars, but the product was not that great. Would not recommend for a drink hangout.

My room is apart of the hotel shelter program in Toronto so I had no television or light with a shade on it, also no fridge or furniture for storage besides a bedside table dresser with two mini drawers. Gouvernement has revoked me of the basics need of television so I don't feel so imprisoned in my own space but getting those amenities the last tenants clearly sold for drugs is like hunting down a sasquatch without having the ability to see or hear lol

Very polite and well trained staff. The place is very bright and clean. My friend that was staying there had 2 little puppies and they made them feel welcomed and comfortable. The bartender was fantastic. A nice blond girl. She was super friendly, fast and a pro. It was a pleasure. And till about midnight you have swimming access to the indoor heated pool. I was hanging out late and people were still swimming! Super chill hotel.

It was an average experience. The hotel is a little dated but it's not a 5 star hotel. Kids would have fun with the water slide though! The cleaning staff were super friendly and helpful. I didn't try out any of the food (was there just to spend the night) so cannot comment on that aspect, but one thing that was nice, was that the ac unit was particularly quiet compared to other hotels I've stayed at.

Staff is very friendly and accommodating. Gift for my young son upon arrival. Large pool and small pool perfect for family members of varying ages. Towels at the pool. Room is comfortable. There is no FREE PARKING for guests. Very strange given the hotel is not in the middle of the city. 12 CAD a day and 4.46 CAD โ€œmarketing fee.โ€ CAUTION for Marriott members: - When you receive the mobile app โ€œcheck inโ€ and advise what time you are arriving, Delta views this as a โ€œrequestโ€ and it is NOT CONFIRMED until they send you a notification saying your room is ready. (I have never had any Marriott property ever mention this before. It is sort of mentioned on the app, which the front desk agents reviewed with me ... but not clearly ... the app says โ€œsee you soonโ€ after you select your arrival time.) It feels very assumptive that your room will be ready. When we arrived (early) we heard the front desk explaining to another guest that they do not have early check in. That check in is no earlier than 3pm. They did accommodate that person with a fee to upgrade to another room. - They do NOT accept debit payment. They only accept credit cards. We were able to check in with a US Debit/Visa, but had to authorize it with the bank.

This is not a hotel anymore. You cannot rent a room here. It has been turned into a homeless shelter by the city of Toronto.

They lie cheat and steal more then the homeless. If you want to lose everything you have stay at the delta. Your Life Will Never Be The Same. They treat us like garbage and they are physically abusive. It's like they are purposefully trying to kill us

This is not a hotel anymore it is basically a housing for homeless during the pandemic. The city is housing homeless people, a lot from Quebec, for free including three times a day meals.. at the expense of the government, because shelters don't want them!?

Perfect. Cleaning lady is rude. Bed bugs are bugs in our bed. They don't exist. OW gives you a free bed.

I have been using this hotel since 2007. Convenient location and easy access to 401. Good quality rooms and the food good but expect a slow service at times. Indoor pool area is good. Staff were overall helpful and friendly. If you ever feel bad about any of the staff or services, just complain and they usually take it seriously. There is a secure parking available for 12$ per night.

The fact they turned it in to a shelter for men, woman and LGBTIQA+, and there pets. I think is amazing, because such a shelter should of been made over a decade ago

Nice hotel, but the condo neighbours are a bit mental...pushing around strollers with no kids in them...just bags of rice from nearby No Frills.
