Stayed two days here. Room was very clean and large. Would be nice for the bathroom to be stocked with lotion. Pub in the lobby has really good food. Pool area was very clean but hot tub could definitely be hotter. Highlight was probably the breakfast, never seen a hotel have such a huge selection for free breakfast and everything was hot and delicious! I would recommend.

We stayed here after a long day at Canada’s Wonderland and it was perfect. We got here in time for our son to swim before closing the pool at 10pm and he was so happy about that. The room was beautiful, clean, modern and had all the toiletries you needed without having to unpack (for us this was great because this hotel was a pit stop overnight before heading downtown Toronto the next morning for the remainder of our stay-cation). The staff was very friendly and greeted us with warmth and enthusiasm. We needed some extra towels and bedding and house keeping was at our door within minutes with fresh laundry. The breakfast the next morning was a full buffet with many hot and cold options for all ages. The coffee was fabulous! The beds were super comfy, which was needed after a full day at Wonderland. Overall for our family, this was a 5 star. We now know where to stay when passing through Vaughn! I don't believe anyone would be disappointed to stay here.

The hotel is clean. However, bring some Fabreez as the carpets and rooms have an odd slightly musty order. Housekeeping is good, front desk and staff are friendly. Close to Wonderland, but the hotel is in a business park. Walmart is a close walk. Room is clean, air and heat work. Odd though. The shower and toilet are in different rooms. The toilet is right at the foot of the bed, so anyone going will wake you up. Bodily sounds carry. Shower is strong with body nozzles as well. Overall a decent stay, 6/10

First impressions, great service at the desk, clean and new feeling. Room is very large and comfortable, well thought out for a family of two adults and two teens sharing a room. There is a large pull out couch and the toilet is separate from the shower. Free breakfast and no charge for parking, close enough to Wonderland to see the rides from our window. Kids can walk to the trampoline park next door and pool open till 11pm. They really thought about how to make this a comfortable stay.

The rooms are clean and modern. Allow for work as well as are comfortable. The breakfast was good for hotel breakfast. The service is friendly. Overall I would stay here again. Two things to consider. This hotel really (really) needs to have stairs you can use without tripping an alarm. When its busy you will wait for the elevator. Plan accordingly. Also, the location is located next to the congestion on highway 7. If it is a peak traffic time, plan your route and plan accordingly. During peak hours, getting to the 400 will be difficult if you take a right (huge backups) so find an alternative route there.

This Hotel is not bad, beautiful and luxury, the pool and the rooms are clean. Super awesome, I went there like last year on my summer vacation.

It was a decent hotel and the night staff were friendly. I did not really appreciate the couch and the top of the bed headboard being dirty. It was also pretty frustrating to have had to confirm my late check out time, which I bought a package specifically for, multiple times. At check-in it was fine but then being called at 12pm the next day being asked when I was leaving when I had confirmed 2pm multiple times prior is the reason for the rating.

We ended up at this hotel after an extremely bad experience at a different hotel chain. We were soo pleasantly surprised by the customer service we received at this location. Right from the start we were treated with respect, kindness and compassion. The hotel itself was clean and tidy. Modern and updated. The rooms were clean and quiet. The breakfast was delicious. All the staff was courteous and kind. I would definitely recommend this hotel!

Stayed here the weekend for a long layover. Hotel was very busy with lots of families and sports team. I specifically asked for a quiet room during booking but was given a room directly facing the highway - so I experienced constant car noise which made it hard to sleep. Also, the door lock was broken. To open the door, I had to really hank it and it could not been locked from the inside. Asked for a room change but was told “all rooms are taken”. Room has an interesting layout - the washroom is split into two. And there’s a dedicated ‘office area’. The bed and bedding was ok. Overall, pretty neat room and clean. Staff were friendly and welcoming. Breakfast was included. It had quality hot and cold items. Come early - it was PACKED around an hour before closing. However, lots of staff to replenish food and to keep things clean. Overall Rating: did not sleep well.

Spacious and comfortable room! Breakfast buffet every morning~ The pub also provides good meals. Walmart is just 7 min walk away from this hotel.

We stayed here with our family for a mini March Break getaway. The hotel was clean and had everything we needed. The free breakfast had many options (hot and cold) and staff were constantly refilling items and quickly removing your dirty dishes. The kids loved the pool and, again, staff were frequently clearing dirty towels and ensuring plenty of fresh ones were ready for use. We also ordered food from the bar and they called us in our room when it was ready. It was very good and the bar/kitchen staff were very friendly. I cannot say enough about all of the staff that we encountered at this hotel. We will be back for this reason.

The staff are so kind, although my room key didn't work quite a few of the days and I had to keep getting those replaced. Other than that though it complains the rooms were clean, and the breakfast is good

I’m in love with this hotel! No one can change my mind. I visited that hotel 4 times within a month 😍 love this location. Blessed breakfast and their alcohol choices 10/10. I don’t have anything negative to say about the staff. But here is one incident that might make you laugh. I came in after a night out drunk out of my mind, I loved their service so much that I bought them flowers and thanked them for doing a great job and respecting me so much as I live in Ottawa and not much hotel in Ottawa give good service. I spoke with the nice lady at the front desk explaining that I hope I didn’t make her co-worker very uncomfortable assuming that he would think I was hitting on him. Thank you so much for the great hospitality!!! I recommend this hotel!

Nice newer hotel, rooms were nice and big. Included breakfast was just OK, no bacon and the eggs were iffy at best. The pool was small but it did the job. Staff were excellent especially those working the breakfast buffet.

Beautiful hotel like all SpringHills. Spacious room, breakfast has great variety and the staff is very hospitable. My only dislike was the shower. It has black mold in the corners in room 402 if it can be checked. Other than that I'll stay again and again

No complaints whatsoever, clean, decent 3 star hotel. We stayed a couple of nights for a hockey tournament. The kids had a blast in the pool!

Beautiful, spacious rooms, courteous staff only downside was we couldn't get room service for drinks from their bar. You'd have to wait till 4pm or so to order drink to your room. But we generally enjoyed our stay and the rates were veeeery affordable too

Not a typical guest review, but I dj'd a corporate event here and I just had to let the world know how incredible the staff is here. They were amazingly well organized took care of me VERY well and made my life infinitely easier in turn making my performance better In turn making the client happy. If you are looking to host an event here the venue is great, but the staff is second to none and such an integral part of the success of any event. Thank you all so much for everything last night you are truly appreciated!

Excellent hotel with lots of space in the room. I went there for a training section, and I brought my family with me, so we really needed lots of space. They enjoyed the swimming pool and the breakfast (included) was very good! Polite and very helpful staff!

Pleasantly surprised with variety of gluten free choices for dinner and breakfast. Room was comfortable and we appreciated the water closet layout. Beds are not too soft and thermostat was quickly responsive to our setting changes. Shout out to staff, especially kitchen and environment staff for their hard work and kindness.

We had an amazing experience with the room and front desk employees. Our only issue was when a man came in and asked us and our children to leave the pool area earlier than expected. We were told the pool area was open until 11pm but the cleaner came in and kicked us out, very rudely I might add, so that he could get his job done earlier. When we told him that it was open until 11pm he did not care and told us to leave anyways.

I stayed with my family (2 adults, 2 kids) for 4 days. The staff was really nice and helpful, the breakfast buffet was a really nice perked too. I enjoyed the pool and all the areas looked clean and well maintained. My only not so favorable is the AC was loud. Definitely recommend this hotel.

Customer Service was top notch with all employees being friendly and helpful! Check in/out times were comfortable. Rooms were good and amenities were great. Pool and whirlpool were clean. Location is ideal, with an adjacent Walmart and lots of restaurants nearby. Breakfast buffet was definitely good. Coffee could be better. Parking was comfortable - $4.99 per day

I just loved it all. One thing missing in the bathroom was the body lotion. I didn't carry my own since I was there for two nights. I have been at the Marriott hotel several times, and they had nice smell body lotion. Unfortunately, this one didn't have it.

PLEASE READ: ROACHES & BED BUGS First time in Canada for work. While the hotel boasts free breakfast, and new room updates, and excellent location (which is correct) there are fundamentals clearly lacking. This review is lengthy but detailed - if you look for that stuff Let’s start with the Good: Breakfast was hot and cold options and very clean. Staff was helpful and friendly but very obviously short of a few people. Room had fresh towels and shower amenities were filled. Housekeeping respected my wishes of leaving my room undisturbed. The Bad: If the keys get even within the same vicinity of your phone, it wipes your access to the room. This is normal in other hotels but wanted to be transparent. Planning out the rooms for school and corporate trips in advance of other guests could really be an opportunity for this location. Large numbers surely helps fill the hotel, but middle schoolers running down the halls, playing ding dong ditch, and going from room to room slamming the doors is unacceptable for unrelated guests nearby. The hotel was full and could not accommodate my request for a new room. They said they would go up and check but unclear if that happened. This occurred for 2 of the 3 nights I stayed. This hotel should either be entirely kid friendly or corporate focused, and if both, maybe trying to separate them by certain floors. The absolutely Gross: I was so itchy in the bed, I slept in the trendel. Did not see any bugs in the sheets, but do have small red marks and raised bumps all over my body. DISGUSTING.

My advice if you are planning to do weeding in this hotel I would not recommend this hotel at all. It was a very bad experience even though we booked the rooms from over a year ago. at the day of the check in we didn’t get the biggest room as we asked for and we end up putting our items in the wrong room until we took one of our bridesmaids rooms and had to switch rooms. The rooms was hot also the sink lockers was broken and I had to remove it so I can use the sink. The worst part that photographer took the weeding dress with the dress cover to one of the bridesmaids room to take pictures and later we couldn’t find the dress cover and it was lost and we couldn’t find it When I reported the lost with reception supervisor she kept saying someone took it from our end when no one was even free to do so because we were in our way to church. I called the sales representative that booked the room with her to let her know about the dress cover lost, she said check with the photographer maybe they might take the cover when it doesn’t make sense. My experience i don’t recommend this hotel for weeding plans at all.

Earlier this month my now wife and I booked the SpringHill Suites by Marriott Toronto Vaughan for the overnight stay of our wedding guests and a breakfast the following morning. Miranda and the team were professional, incredibly accommodating and helped make our day easy to execute. Furthermore, the Marriott also was able to provide a space for our formal wedding photos and light refreshments in between our ceremony and reception adding a cherry on top. Overall we would highly recommend the SpringHill Suites by Marriott Toronto Vaughan and working with Miranda for any hotel and venue needs.

I had recently gotten my Covid test results well staying in the hotel. I have told them reception to let them know about my positive test, they really didn’t seem to care basically rushed off the phone and didn’t enforce any protocols… pretty strange and would advise anyone to be very careful going in and out of this hotel

Best Hotel I’ve ever stayed at! I am very very happy with this hotel and the staff, management, cleanliness, the location, the check-in and check-out speeds, and overall a great experience. I’d recommend it to anyone! Also please know that if you happen to accidentally forget something behind (it happened to me actually), the manager will ensure it gets shipped to you! That is GREAT SERVICE, thank you again!!

The hotel was clean and comfortable and the staff did their best to accommodate guests considering the difficulty of covid protocols (for pool/breakfast, etc). It did not feel tense at all. We will definitely return. If I could give one little suggestion, somewhat of a privacy screen at the entrance of the elevator heading to pool area would be great! When leaving the pool to head back upstairs the elevator waiting area is very open to the bar/restaurant so in a towel can be a little uncomfortable 🤷‍♀️. It is not bad enough to merit losing a star. Still a fabulous hotel. Thank you!

Bonnie and Camille did a wonderful job making my stay here perfect during my wedding! They were polite and went out of their way to make sure my wedding was perfect. The room was excellent and when there was a miscommunication for my event causing problems in my hotel plans, they were quick to offer excellent alternative solutions!! Thank you so much spring hills for your service!!

Great hotel! I have stayed here a couple times. The rooms are great for bigger families, and also great for girls trips! Super close to Vaughan Mills to do some shopping and Canada's Wonderland. Staff are super friendly. Only complaint is that their restaurant doesn't have many options, but the food was good.

  • 4/5 Bianca F. 2 years ago on Google
I liked it here. But the food needs to be checked. We ordered burgers, the burgers were burnt as well as the buns. We requested mayo. Got none. Requested no onions. Got onions. Bartender seemed like she didn't know what she was doing because her answer to the wait time was "I don't know" luckily she saved it with "I'll call you when it's ready". As a bartender in a hotel lounge, timing is everything to hotel guests.

Room was clean, staff was very friendly. The layout of the room was nice. The streaming feature on the TV was easy to figure out. Too bad with COVID we cannot try out the pool. The only thing negative was the bathroom doors. The locks were removed for the slide doors. But this isn't a deal breaker for us. We would recommend a stay here.

Night duty guy provides worst service. Even after booking 2 rooms for 10 people under same name, provided one room on 3rd floor and other on 8th. Very rude and lied that all rooms were occupied.

My first stay at Springhill Suites but I am a regular at Marriott. It was a pleasure to stay here and I will be back again 100%. The staff was pleasant and always started my day with a good morning. I recommend Springhill Suites to anyone looking for accommodations in the Vaughan area.

We used this hotel to book a room block for my sisters wedding in June. We couldn’t be happier! Our sales manager, Camille, was so helpful. Her responses were prompt to all our inquiries. And we deeply appreciate her professionalism! She made sure that our stay went well. Definitely recommend this hotel!

Quite a new hotel. The room was bright and clean. Everything was fresh and stocked. All furniture was in good shape. Beds were very comfortable. The eating area is very spacious with diverse and comfortable seating options. The space doubles as a bar for evening socials. The breakfast is de jour Marriott hot breakfast with continental options, fruit, yogurt, etc. The coffee is quite good. Staff were very prompt and efficient at keeping the area clean and people moving through while keeping the food supplied. Because of its location, the hotel is popular with child sports teams in the Fall and Winter so non-team travelers may want to request rooms away from the din of team activities. The one factor that visitors won't be able to avoid is road noise from highway 400. Be prepared to run your room HVAC fan on medium to provide counteractive white noise for sleeping. Overall a decent hotel.

The hotel was very clean. The service we received was great. Loved the pool. Only complaint I have is the breakfast was really bad. The hashbrowns were practically inedible. And the sausages were a bit tough. I wish they had a bit more available for hot items but overall a good place to stay.

Had a large suite. Loved the 2 bathrooms and walk-in closet. Everything was clean and high quality. No complaints at all.

Nice hotel, nice rooms. Location is convenient for me. The only downside is if you are going to be here for a week, the breakfast is the same every day, and there are no restaurants within walking distance of the hotel. Change it up :-)

  • 5/5 Janielle A. 1 year ago on Google
Beautiful, large, modern and very clean suites. There’s ample parking for $5/night and a complimentary buffet in the lobby area in the morning. Very comfortable beds (Marriott—duh) and I love that our suite had a separate toilet from the shower. The evening menu at their lobby restaurant is quite limited for food options, but still yummy. They have an extensive beer and wine menu though. Staff are very helpful and accommodating but not pretentious. Great location in Vaughan near Wonderland, Vaughan Mills, the train station etc. Will definitely stay here again when I’m in the Vaughan area.

No question the greatest service and attentiveness to my experience at a hotel, ever. I have never been to a hotel (and I'm reasonably well traveled) where the people working at the hotel have been as pleasant and happy to help out where they can. I understand why so many CPL teams stay here; the staff is so easy to deal with and they actually are interested in making your stay better. Breakfast is on par with most Canadian hotels and rooms are decent and the pool is pretty small of you are looking for that but the convenience of Walmart being right next door is really nice. I would definitely recommend if you're staying in the area.

Make sure to use ʜᴏᴛᴇʟʙoʟʟʏ.ᴄᴏm when booking a stay. This site will compare countless hotel sites and usually will have rooms much cheaper compared to others! You're welcome :)! This resort is one of the highest rated in this area. I have been staying here for a long time. If you choose this place you for sure won't be disappointed. Beautiful, spacious rooms, courteous staff only downside was we couldn't get room service for drinks from their bar. You'd have to wait till 4pm or so to order drink to your room.

Considering Marriot is supposed to be a higher class chain, we were not impressed. The room could have been better. The shower room didn't have a lock, the toilet leaks so you will hear it run every so often, the thermostat is too far away from the AC/heat unit that the room has two different temperatures. The shower leaked all over the floor cause the shower door seal was not put on correctly. The breakfast was average, nothing special. The sausages they served were not to our liking. But at least they served breakfast unlike another hotel we stayed at. Overall for the $$$, not impressed with the room but the staff were polite and the breakfast was decent

+ cozy rooms + free morning breakfast - the lunch/dinner food leaves to be desired - the gym lacks equipment Overall a good experience. Staff was helpful and the overall cleanliness was more than acceptable. The breakfast in the morning was something to look forward to.

The place was convenient as it is by Hwy400. We stayed for 3 days/2nights. The hotel was clean. The room was spacious, has a fridge, microwave, & coffee maker. The hotel comes with free breakfast. The amenities such as the pool & gym were clean. However, the pool was tad cold. We were in Queen/Queen Room. Farjana was friendly, helpful & genuine. The rest was not, just doing their subpar customer service job 🙄. We definitely recommend!!!

My girlfriend and I have gone many times over the last couple months and we have yet to be disappointed. Amazing service and amazing hospitality every time. Complimentary breakfast is very good standard. Eggs, sausage, hashbrown, yogurt, cereal, fruits, apple and orange juice, milk, muffins, and hot beverages are available. Every TV is easy to operate and stream from your preferred device to watch your favorite shows. Bed is quite comfortable and temp control is easy to use. Bathrooms are comfortably spacious and shower is good standard. Highly recommended.
